Kolga, Bloodrage, when would you like to have this meeting and where. Obviously the where should be someplace neutral, I was even thinking about perhaps using the Journal of the Whills and making it an undisclosed location. But that is just one option.
As for when, I likely won't be available at least until sometime next week.

We could use the journal of the Whills and state the location as "Undisclosed" and only describe the interior. Instead we could use an underused world in the galaxy. For example Zonama Sekot as it's supposed to be full of Vong and it travels around in canon. We could also use some sort of space station, potentially abandoned for the meeting. We'd need some IC rules for protection in any case, which I'll leave up to you.

I would be fine wherever. I'll dust off the old star yacht and head wherever we agree on. I like the desolate world idea myself. Kolga would of course bring some guards and firepower.
Who would be doing the organizing. I figure either BP or Kolga as they have a bit more history. Besides the Hutt Cartel and the Exchange would be most likely to push for communication.

Kolga, I agree that it is logical that your character or BP's would the more likely choice to push for communication, so I suggest we go that route as for how the meet is called. As for location, I don't see the need to go the the JotW route when there are plenty of in Universe locations that we could use. I was thinking maybe someplace with little recent activity that could work as a neutral place, like maybe Zeltros? The fact that the planet is in an essentially constant state of being one huge, world-wide party could be the perfect cover for a criminal gathering. Or, since no weapons are allowed on Bimmisaari , it could be a perfect neutral location that is also an unlikely place for a criminal gathering. Or, as BP suggested, we could say the meet takes place on a space station of some kind and just use a hyperspace thread somewhere.

So definitely an in Universe location, I prefer that to JotW too. I like the Bimmisaari idea, remote location and a ban on weapons certainly lends itself to a neutral meeting.
I think that how I'm currently writing the Pirates lends itself to me sending the invite to the meeting. Since no-one else is really active in the Exchange user-group I'm writing that the Pirates have fully taken it over and then I'll reach out to the Hutts to negotiate territory and firm up any deals that the Exchange had with them.
How would you like the invite extended to the Gallucci Family?

I think we're all good with Bimmisaari.
I can't think of anyone else that RPs a criminal syndicate/ organization offhand, so unless anyone else knows of any, I think our 3 groups are the only ones that would be looking to sit down together to make some arrangements.

Well now, what a wonderful suggestion! I certainly wouldn't mind an opportunity to put names and faces to my competition.  Though I doubt Xinzon himself would attend (he does call himself the Shadow King, after all), he'd certainly be willing to send a top representative. |

The problem is inviting someone I don't even know exists IC (the problem of being in the shadow too much). If you can think of an IC reason for me to contact Xinzon then I will more than happily invite him. Arkan will instantly lose all respect for him for not showing up in person though

You raise a good point, BP. While Xinzon himself would only be known as a businessman and political figure, it wouldn't be a stretch for the organization to be known to fellow underworld types. That said, perhaps it might be best if I remain apart from this for the time being, at least until there has been some more IC interaction that would allow you to identify a leader. Or, if you want to send an invite to the organization and have it get forwarded up the chain of command to "The Boss", that could work too. Though the boss you get may not be the boss you think he is... |
