The arrival to Hapes was met with a grouping of Chume'doro waiting for them on the moveable landing platform their ship had been assigned to, which had set down outside of what appeared to be a courthouse of sorts. Greetings and introductions were made, all the while Stefanie, Andie, and Nikky all hung back a little behind Lindsay, while Lindsay stood beside Nash, quietly observing their surroundings and the people in general, but mostly observing the demeanor of the Chume'doro as they interacted with Lana, Nash, and the others.
The Chume'doro who seemed to be in charge, Colonel Melis, explained that Lana and Nash would be taken into the Chume'doro Hall of Law to be made aware of the charges against them while also being assigned Chume'doro advocates to help with their defenses. Stefanie, casually folding her arms across her chest with a raised eyebrow, wasn't sure she liked the sound of that but there wasn't much she could do about it at the moment so remained silent as Lindsay quietly, through their bond, translated the last part spoken in Hapan for her, Andie, and Nikky. Nodding her head slightly, Stefanie and the others just continued to listen and observe everyone, even after Lana and Nash disappeared through the doors of the courthouse, with Lindsay translating when needed.
After everything was said and done and they were at the hotel the mood brightened a little when they were all informed that Lana and Nash would be allowed one witness each, during their court martial. Lindsay felt a rush of relief wash over her when that bit of information was given. Eventually they all made their way to the various suites on the floor, and even though there were more than enough rooms to go around, it seemed that most just wanted to remain in smallish groups to give comfort, discuss strategies, or to otherwise just converse amongst themselves for the time being. P.M.S., including Brion, Maze, and of course Karamel the cat, were getting settled in one of the larger suites for the time being.
Karamel was restless after being cooped up first in Lindsay's and Nash's room on the ship while they were going through the scans in orbit, then the meet and greet on the ground and now she was cooped up in this suite too. She didn't understand why she had to be in the room by herself for so long until Lindsay began to cuddle her and softly explain the happenings of the day so far, assuring her that they would see Nash and Lana again soon. This seemed to appease the animal, for now anyway, as she trotted off to the far corner of the room to lay down and nibble on the treats Lindsay had given her.
It was then that Lindsay felt Nash touch her mind through the Force.
Perplexed at first, Lindsay then realized what he was about to do, or actually did when she felt his presence briefly flare up in the Force.
Sidoor.....what did you just do?
Seeing the look on Lindsay's face, and also feeling Nash's presence briefly flare up, Stefanie and Andie looked questioningly at her.
"Lindsay..."
"Lindsay..."
They both spoke at the same time. Waving a hand in the air, Lindsay shook her head to halt them. Staying silent for a moment longer, she sensed his relatively calm, and maybe somewhat defeated, demeanor again. "Don't worry. He didn't do anything bad.....I think it was more to prove a point than anything." She finally replied as she folded her arms across her chest with a concerned look. "I just wish I was in there to see and hear exactly what's going on. I don't like the idea of them going this alone with just Hapan representation right now, and one witness apiece when the proceedings actually start." She softly mused, not liking the mixed emotions/feelings she was sensing from him, as she pushed her glasses to the top of her head before she spoke to him through their bond again.
Please, Sidoor, don't give up hope now. We will find a way through this. Stay focused. I am there with you. I will always be with you. I love you. We will see you both soon.

"Okay." Atlantis replied simply to what Elika had told him when he offered his help one way or another, he smiled nonetheless, and inclined his head. He knew that this whole situation was nerve wracking for the architect, and he wished he could soothe her, but alas there was nothing he could do and he figured that if she did need anything, she would ask by her own volition.
At least she was surrounded by her two friends here, Crystal and Lily, that much he knew they would remain by her side, and even he was thankful that Lily had gotten Elika something to drink, it would allow her to fuss less on her nails, he guessed. That was also then and there when he heard what Horsea had said telephatically to him, and he also figured that she had not restricted that communication to just a few of them since Crystal looked at him and suggested that he perhaps talked with Horsea.
The problem there quite honestly, even if he had felt that momentary flare up from the Hapan, and he still kept a placid expression, Atlantis didn't really know the man, it had been the first time he had seen Nash when he landed on Umgul accompanied by the lawyers from Honoghr, and sure Atlantis had spent a few days with him in the vessel and had pretty much picked up a few things about the Specialist, as was his rank here, but other than that, Atlantis couldn't really say that he for sure knew the Hapan. Besides the fact that he cared about Lana, and that he was protective over her, and even his girlfriend, caring too, Atlantis couldn't really quite make sense of Horsea's words...
Did she see something?
Instead of pondering about it though, Atlantis knew that thinking too much about it right now would help him at all, and with Saoirse addressing him, Atlantis figured he'd address her privately, at least, since quite frankly he didn't know and didn't want to rush to a conclusion until they had a clearer picture. No, we do not know, unfortunately. I wouldn't even begin to try and interpreting that, lest that we talk with Horsea who is still outside But even then, the only people that would probably be able to reach Nash were the ones from Honoghr, and he just looked at Saoirse the moment he stood up straight and smiled naturally before looking at Elika still with that peaceful smile, as truly he did not want to worry her at all.
"You and I both know, Elika, that Crystal and Lily are going to stay right here with you until they come back." Atlantis was probably trying to lift up her mood, and maybe just to make her smile. "Isn't there a rule in that infamous household, or bestie rule book of yours that stipulates that all the rules are applicable no matter where the three residents of the said Lakehouse are located?" Maybe his joke would be flat out going down the drain, but some humor did not hurt he supposed. "The ultimate rule of it all, if I am understand correctly is that besties stick together no matter what, right?"
Looking at Mahela with a grateful smile, Atlantis inclined his head gratefully, and was glad that she was cognizant of a few things also, he wasn't surprised at all to be perfectly honest, plus he was certain that she saw, or recognized some signs. "Thanks, I am sure that she'll be fine, as long as she it surrounded." That was his reply, at least what he whispered to the Togruta, for honestly, he too was at a loss and didn't quite know what to do, it seemed more like Crystal and Lily would know best how to handle this, too.
In any case he was trying, or at least he was doing whatever he could to uplift everyone's mood but he had heard the door opening and stepped aside so that he wasn't in the middle and people could see his brother, but Atlantis did look at his twin and dubiously too, it did sound that Andros gathered some info. The Ereneda didn't want this but it still came to this because she was expected to do something from the looks of it and from what Andros was telling them. "Bias... Atlantis repeated, why would there be any bias when it was pretty streamlined, though he supposed that maybe indeed talking to them could be caused to some bias, but still, he was confused. Atlantis supposed that it all fell down to politics altogether then, since that was the only thing he could come up with. "Politics, huh."
He didn't even need an answer to that, there was certainly more to it than anything, and since he wasn't too knowledgeable with the ongoing on in Hapes, or just its entire history or even the Royal House and whatever, Atlantis just couldn't understand, and he would not even try to further. But the waiting was probably going to be the most difficult thing to do. "C'mon let's let them rest, and let Elika sleep." He was mainly talking to Mahela and Saoirse before looking at his brother, their choices indeed, or perhaps they would want to talk a few more with Elika but Atlantis did step out of the room after giving Crystal one last glace and blinking.
Once again in the hallway, Atlantis walked straight up to the Kiffars, and it seemed that Lucy even remained outside still from the looks of it. "What kind of situation?" He asked Horsea thoughtfully, did she see something, or heard anything? He knew that everything could probably be subjective at this point, and he really didn't want to jump to conclusion and hope for the worst, especially not after what Andros had revealed from his talk with Major Yajaira...

"Oh there is, Gorgeous, but I figured we'd keep those ones for later to celebrate, Replying to her with a wink, because I just want to be optimistic, even if we are in unchartered territory, but it's better than to constantly think of the worst. Usually the pragmatic kind of person, but in this case seeing that Gorgeous is maybe at her wit's end, best to keep an optimistic vibe. And that is what I am going to keep doing, and even hug her in return before smiling and brushing my fingertip on her nose. Good." Whether she tells me first or Baby Girl, that's no biggie and she should definitely know that she can always lean on me, and even Crystal when things like these happen.
Different case scenario in the past, but it's definitely in these moments you know who you can count on, and that is all there is, Elika matters to me, like I am sure she matters to Crystal, and now it's our job just like everyone here to keep her company and not leave her alone. Though I am very sure that she might say something about it, or come up with an excuse ...
Looking at Lover Boy when he mentions about Kiffars listening, with everything that I have come to find out, especially recently, I am not even surprised that is also a thing. They can listen that far away, o ... kay then. Another Forcie mystery. And looks like Baby Girl just knows who to go to. The Intelligence Hottie. Figures, is there anything else that she can do that us basic humans or non Force sensitives can do? Probably a whole lot, also. Funny how I was never truly interested about those sort of things before, well a little to a certain degree since brat is attuned just like the sexy bitches I grew up with back then, except Baby Girl who is one now. Maybe I should start asking some questions, either way those are things that are good to know right?
"Sweetie, I am so not hovering here, besides why would I even want to go visit if you are not there. and Lover Boy is right. Pointing at that ultimate he has recited before laughing softly and nudging Gorgeous. Plus you and I both know that you won't be able to sleep at all, so girl please stop trying to get rid of us here." Whispering to her teasingly and even giggling before glancing at Baby Girl who I am pretty sure will just concur with what I have just said, though there is Boss Man. Andros who knows how to speak Hapan, and just probably can hold a pretty decent convo. Points to him ...
Wait .. what? "Ugh sounds like political BS as usual ... I cannot help but to say, the Ereneda apparently did not want for this to happen, and the chick that Andros was talking to was the one in Umgul. Right, info gathering then. Sucks to be the Queen Mother right about now no doubt. But bias, I don't get it, is there something else?" Definitely not a position I envy, but at the same time, bias how, does the Ereneda actually have a personal stake in this whole thing?

Saoirse thinks she can tell Andros is either angry or just tired maybe by the way he looks and sounds after coming to join them in the room to share what he had learned from talking with one of the Chume'doro. The news about the Queen Mother not wanting everything to happen sounds promising, even if it is a little confusing to Saoirse since she would have thought the Queen could have just put a stop to it if she had wanted to, and she makes a note to ask Atlantis about it when she gets a chance. The part about the Queen having to worry about looking biased is also confusing to Saoirse, which makes her make another mental note to ask Atlantis about it since Andros doesn't look like he is in the mood for answering questions at the moment. Andros had also mentioned requesting a meeting with the Queen, which Saoirse thinks could be interesting, especially since it will only be taking place after everything with Delaana and her brother has been settled, hopefully in a way that leaves them free to go back home, and everyone should be a lot less tense and anxious than they are now.
Crossing her arms over her chest and giving Atlantis a subtle thumbs up to let him know that she received and understood his telepathic message about talking with Horsea about what she had learned that made her telepathically let all of the Force users know that something is going down with Nash, Saoirse nods when he says that they should let Elikapeka and her friends rest, waiting until he heads outside into the hall to follow him.
Mahela, smiling to let Atlantis know that she understands what he means when saying that Elikapeka should be fine as long as she has her friends around her, follows him and Saoirse into the hall when they leave to give Elikapeka some space.
As they are making their way to Horsea, Saoirse asks Atlantis, "If the Queen didn't want this to happen, how come she just didn't tell the Chume'doro to, I don't know, stand down or whatever? If she's the Queen can't she just do whatever she wants? And what did Andros mean about her having to worry about looking biased?" Waving to Horsea and those with her when they reach the point in the hall where the Kiffar, Forcias and Lucine are talking together, Saoirse leans up against the wall beside Mahela and tosses her rock up and down as she waits to hear the answer to the question Atlantis had asked about what the situation with Nash is.

Chume'doro Hall of Law
His jaws locked in place, and he even looked down at that moment upon hearing the First Lieutenant expound a few facts about his service record. It was true that his sister always looked out for him, and he had never made any single allusions about those other things in the past, and however they found out that, that was probably because they were in constant surveillance, but what about those other times when he did lose control . . .
His anger did well up, like it often would and perhaps he wasn’t thinking clearly, and perhaps being back here was just took heavy for him, but one of his fists clenched while the other took the leg of one of the chairs by his side. Slowly he knew that he was crushing it before stopping altogether when he heard in his mind Lindsay’s thoughts . . .
It was around the same time when he saw the Captain and his sister being her.
Breathing softly and trying to regain his composure, glancing on the side the metal that he had bent a bit, Nash shook his head when his sister’s advocate asked if he wanted anything.
I cannot do all of this, anymore, I cannot stay in this place where I do not know what will become of you, Lana . . .
Let me guess, you have been asked to fight someone who would probably want your rank.
Standing up from his seat and just facing the wall.
Lack of judgment, I was told, and inability to think independently I was also told hence why I followed you.
Of course, the whole time he had addressed her privately and he turned to look at her before shaking his head. Everything inside of him refused those arguments because he clearly could still remember the pain, and even the anger of that day coming from her.
Perhaps the First Lieutenant was right, and just then and there he heard once more his Childao, the other person he refused to surrender, like his sister had surrendered the now Ereneda . . .
But still, it did not stop him from slamming his fist on the table and causing a dent on it. He probably just needed to vent that anger, before looking at his sister.
“I am sorry, Major, I wasn’t thinking at all . . .” Said Nash apologetically this time around, and even verbally in Hapan.
Running his hand through his hair and taking another deep breath, he had to find his center, to find his peace, to find something that would put his mind at ease. Being here wasn’t going him any good, and he was never comfortable here. Sure he followed orders, followed everything to the letter and during some downtimes he just split for a while far away without people noticing to preferably expulse the rage he was feeling inside.
Where do we go from here . . .?
He was no doubt that Lindsay had felt his emotional rollercoaster or even the anger that had briefly surged in him, it was dark, potentially and the last time he had felt that way was when he had dragged a certain individual out of the lawfirm back in Honoghr . . .
Closing his eyes and keeping his link with Lindsay, he finally addressed her privately. I was stupid, that is what I did, for that I am sorry, and we are going to be seeing you all soon.
That was all there was, and that was probably what was meant to be, and perhaps indeed he had to take a step back and see this through a lawyer’s eyes. They were now in Hapes and inequality was still going to be the norm here, whether he liked it or not.

Both of her eyebrows arched when Lucine rhetorically asked if that was her, Horsea said nothing more, nothing less, figuring that indeed she didn’t need to add anything more to what she had previously said. While Horsea wasn’t paying that much attention to the conversation there that the VG was having with the Chume'doro, her ears were elsewhere.
Stopping altogether to listen then and there, Horsea just focused her attention onto Lucy this time. “Not entirely sure, girl.” Began to say Horsea and just closed her eyes momentarily to take a breath. In a big way Horsea understood all the same, Nash was very protective of the people he cared about, and even loved, at least that was what she had depicted when they were galaxy hopping from Umgul to Hapes, but at the same time too, he had to know that he didn’t have any other choice, it didn’t matter if he was attuned to the Force in the end, what mattered was the situation at hand.
Perhaps indeed at some point he had been out of control, most probably, who wouldn’t be, but a big certainty that also Lana had been his lifeline to not go over that divisive line altogether.
“One thing I can tell you though, Specialist Wan’s moral compass is probably being tested right now. He will refuse to put the blame on his sister, even if honestly that is the lesser of two evils most certainly at this point.” Crossing her arms once again and just shaking her head slightly. “The second thing that I can also tell you, while I do not know the man, for I do not share a bond with him unlike your man and I, I honestly cannot tell you how he will react, either he goes batshit crazy and does lose control like he alluded to, or people that do know him intimately just talk to him.”
Horsea didn’t know, when or how he lost control like he mentioned, but one thing was certain, she could tell that Delaana anchored him one way or another. It was all so complicated, and definitely a matter that was just beyond her scope, plus she was not a mind reader unlike the Vos cousins who could probably figure those things out. Unfortunately, though they weren’t here, and for now they’d all do what they could to have the siblings back.
“Being in Hapes probably makes him lose sensibility. I’d know, Kiffex is that for me.” Mentioned Forcias with a sigh, “His heart is in the right place, plus the man should know by now how many people care about him too, and just want him back.”
Catching Forcias’ eyes, Horsea wondered for a moment if Lucine knew, the Kiffar wasn’t sure at all, and therefore she preferred to stay mum about that, before saying anything further about the whole Kiffex situation, particularly that Detention Center where Honoros had found a younger Forcias . . .
One day maybe when Forcias was ready to talk about it, maybe he’d tell Lucy, but for now she didn’t say anything more about the Kiffex situation and just noticed Atlantis who had walked out of the room followed by both Saoirse and Mahela before asking about that situation.
“He revealed to the Chume'doro that he is attuned to the Force, and that apparently their reason for leaving both had been also due to him losing control in the past which landed him on Honoghr by the will of the Force possibly.” Maybe Atlantis would see where she was going with this, maybe not, altogether Nash was playing a dangerous game that could set him off at any moment if in fact he was known to lose control one way or another in the past.
“Is that what the VG, and Major Yajaira were talking about.” Rhetorically asked Forcias when Saoirse had been talking to Atlantis mainly. As he also did not understand a word of Hapan at all, Forcias did not listen to that at all anyways, and he just looked at Horsea with a dubious expression who just shrugged.
“Don’t look at me, Kes, I only got as far as seeing who delivered that message . . .” Further than that, or whatever, there was nothing else, if there was something else, then she might not have been paying attention, or it didn’t come up when she had been listening throughout their journey.
“I am sure that sooner or later we’ll find out then.”

Everything that Nikoleta had said, those were all facts, and truths, her truth. As much as Delaana would have wanted, as much as she potentially wanted to try, it would not change a thing. She was aware of a bit of the history, who wouldn't? But at the same time in the end it no longer mattered, she was definitely set. In all honesty, how the Captain just laid it all out for her, that gave her the perspective she needed, and just probably just smiled by the end of it, Lana said nothing but just faint smiled.
About taking five, probably a good idea, and hopefully she'd get her brother to just stand back, how she had wished and wanted also that he wasn't part of this all, maybe it would have been better, but Kai had insisted, she knew her brat could be stubborn and she also knew that he'd do anything to be there by her side. It was too late now, he was here, and she would probably have to give him that one last order just for old time's sake, even if she always hated ordering her brother.
Finding herself into the other conference room after her advocate and his advocate spoke for a moment, Lana just shook her head when asked if she wanted anything. Closing the door behind her, Lana leaned against the door and just looked at her brother silently at first, it wasn't that she feared him at all, it was just one of those moments that she knew he could be set off by anything and everything on Hapes, he had found ways to contain his gifts back then, one way or another, and definitely remained undetected at least, or from what she understood. But if there was one thing she knew about Kai, his loyalty was to her and not to the one they served...
Also another thing she knew about her brat, how he truly felt, or what he was going through, he never said that verbally, it always seemed like he would die down all of his feelings one way another because he never wanted to attract any attention to himself. Sighing softly and looking blankly right before her, there it was again the anger he kept burying and mostly if not all controlled ever since they got away from here.
But he punched and dented the table, Lana was not even startled, and just shook her head. "It does not matter, Kai. Don't apologize to me. As for where we go from here. We'll get ourselves discharge without honor, it does not matter, just do what your advocate says, I'll do my part, and hopefully it'll be an end to this all." Finally opening the door once again to the conference room. Just waiting for the advocates to return, finally catching Nikoleta's gaze when she returned, Lana just told her and even Nash's advocate. "Your way."
Looking at Nash with a frown, even if she knew he wasn't going to be thrilled about it, he already knew what was awaiting for her, but it wasn't important, she no longer had the strength to fight for something she no longer believed in, and she certainly no longer wanted to be here as who she was. She just wanted to be a Hapan born, and that was it, whether good or bad, as long as her brother could also have his freedom and what he wanted, that was enough. That should satisfy them enough.

Crystal was till holding onto Elika's hand, and if the architect needed her hand back, Crystal would just let it go, most certainly. For now she just remained seat next to her friend, and just enjoyed the soothing verbal talk that was going on here, and she had to admit it also did set her at ease. But at the same time, she couldn't even fathom what the lawyers from Honoghr, particularly Lindsay, were feeling. Not as good as whomever that had trained here longer for being a Jedi and all in maintaining her awareness in the Force constantly, Crystal didn't try it again like the last time since already they had gotten a somewhat troubling update from Horsea, but at the same time, she wasn't even going to try and understand it, for in any case, she would at least known if and when of the lawyers started scrambling or started doing something.
Thankfully though Lily was just being herself and also trying to keep Elika's mood uplifted one way or another, while Atlantis did it his own way too, and she concurred with what he said with a knowing smile.
"That is definitely the ultimate rule of friendship." Grinning knowingly, Crystal looked at her boyfriend with understanding and also grateful smile, all of there before Andros had finally walked into the room, and she just looked at him dubiously. Definitely sounded like a political BS like Lily mentioned, but not really that knowledgeable on how the Matriarchy worked here, or how even the Ereneda ruled the Consortium, Crystal figured that she also had to appease several people in order to keep the keep altogether.
Crystal despised politics, and everything that went with it, she had seen how it could destroy someone's soul so to speak, wasn't it the case for her stepfather? Then again she and her stepfather were and had always been at odds for many reasons in the past, and now was grateful that she no longer heard from him.
"I certainly hope that at least we get the full picture there, but bias, why would bias even come to play there, she wrote the scroll to Lana no, and recalled her, though I suppose that it was just tied to Lana's rank, or maybe even her brother, I don't know, but what I do know is that at least the Ereneda is forgiving, at least, or am I understanding all of that completely wrong?" Crystal asked dubiously, a quick and painless matter, and still was summoned back here, but it sounded that there was more that she was missing, that probably several of them were missing to. Deciding to not even question that further, Crystal turned to look at the Architect with a smile. "If you do want to sleep, hon', feel free, or if not while we wait, why not maybe let your creativity take over if that would soothe you further?"

Chume'doro Hall of Law
Once the Wans have declined the offer of snackies or bevvies, Nikoleta heads to the ladies, smirking like always as she asks Zenaida, "You make any progress?"
Stopping at the door to the women's room, Zenaida shakes her head with a sigh, "No. He tried to sell me some line about . . ."
Opening the door and chuckling, Nikoleta guesses, "Outta control Force powers, sister had to get him off this world they hate to save everyone they hate from his wrath? Yeah, she gave me that very same story. I mean, she nods her head towards the door and goes inside, it's like, lady, stop over complicating it, I have a way for you to get off this ride really fast, just take it already."
Following Nikoleta inside and leaning against a sink, Zenaida nods, "Must be a family trait. What's that saying? You can lead an Eopie to water but you can't make them drink."
Chuckling as she goes into a stall and starts the painstaking process of removing all the bits of armor that need to be removed before she can tinkle, Nikoleta laughs, "True dat'. I think I may have gotten through to the sister. She did this faint smile thing after I spelled things out for her that was either an I-get-it smile or an I-would-happily-rip-your-throat-out smile at the end that, hopefully, means she's gonna drink the water I've led her to. Ideally she can get her brother to do the same."
Zenaida rolls her neck from side to side as she rubs it, saying, "I get the impression he would do anything she says, so if you're right maybe we can get this all over with so they can go back home."
Flushing and starting to get her armor back on, Nikoleta says, "Guess we'll find out in a minute. Exiting the stall and washing her hands, Nikoleta asks, You don't wanna piddle while we're here? Arching an amused eyebrow when Zenaida shakes her head, Nikoleta smirks as she guesses, You're one of those can't pee with someone else in the bathroom types, aren't you?"
Re-entering the room where the Wans had been left to talk amongst themselves, Nikoleta's perma-smirk morphs into a genuine smile of relief when Major Wan does that one word thing to let her and Zenaida know she and her brother have decided to drink the water they've been led to, leading her to give her own cheerful one word reply, "Awesome! Looking at the dent in the table and guessing that it might be wise to call it a day rather than risk taxing either of the siblings patience further, Nikoleta says, You know, I think we'll call that enough progress for the day, whattaya say? Pursing her lips in thought, she says, I know you both want this over fast, so why don't we meet later tonight, at the hotel since I think you might be more comfortable there. We'll come in civvies, you can get out of those uniforms, we'll grab some dinner or just drinks if dinner is too much time with us. Bring your friends so you have us outnumbered if you want. Whatever will make you as comfortable as possible, we're willing to roll with. We'll talk about what will happen in the court-martial, discuss strategy, all that boring but necessary shit. Sound good?"

Elikapeka sets the water bottle down and starts chewing on the nails of her free hand again - her other hand tightening its hold on Crystal's - when Andros shares that he has learned that the Queen Mother had not wanted any of what is happening to happen in the first place, able to guess why that is from what her Ceesi had shared about the relationship they once had. Even though she could clear up some of the confusion about what was meant by the Queen Mother not wanting to appear biased, Elika doesn't feel as though that is her story to tell and so holds her tongue; it is her Ceesi's decision as to whether or not she wants to share that information with everyone. Elika isn't sure how she feels about the prospect of meeting the Queen Mother either; knowing that a part of Delaana's heart will always belong to the Ereneda is a part her uncertainty given how awkward she imagines the meeting would be even were she not to suffer from social anxiety, and even though she is naturally curious about the woman that had been and is still important to her Ceesi, Elika isn't sure it might not be better if, should that meeting take place, she found a way to excuse herself from it for some reason.
Looking a bit distracted when Atlantis interrupts her thoughts to tell her what she had already suspected would be the case, that Lily and Crystal are not going anywhere until her Ceesi and Nash have returned as it is one of their rules as friends to stick by one another in difficult times, Elika forces a smile and sits on her free hand to keep herself from continuing to gnaw at her nails and says, "That is right, giving Crystal's hand a more gentle squeeze to silently apologize for gripping it so tightly before releasing it so that she can nibble at her thumbnail as she nods and agrees with his assertion that politics are the probable cause of the need for the Queen to worry about bias, repeating the word as she crinkles her nose in distaste, Politics, and adding with an uncomfortable smile, I'm sure that's all it is," as she tries to focus more on that aspect, which is undoubtedly a part of the convoluted mess that has come about just because her Ceesi had been looking for her after the hyperdrive accident that robbed them of three years they could have spent together.
Laughing more or less genuinely as Lily says that the wine was reserved for celebrating later, her friend's humor a welcome reprieve from the anxiety that had been bubbling up, Elika blinks as her nose is brushed, smiling as she tells Lily, "Good thinking, beautiful, and then gives her a skeptical look when she claims not to be hovering while hovering. Crinkling her nose when Lily calls her out on the white lie about sleeping, Elika says, I can never fool you, can I, beautiful? Rolling her eyes and sighing in theatrical acceptance of the fact her friends won't be leaving her alone, which is just fine with her even though she won't stop feeling as though she is being a burden to them all in an already tense and difficult situation, Elika says, I guess I will stop trying to shoo you away now then." Biting her lip rather than her nails when Lily asks if there might be something other than political BS behind the need for the Queen Mother to worry about the appearance of bias, Elika shrugs noncommittally.
"No, Elika tells Crystal when her friend wonders aloud whether the Ereneda is forgiving, you aren't wrong, hon', adding with another shrug, I mean, I guess so, you know, from what Andros said the Chume'doro said, then laughs and crinkles her nose as she admits, I'm not really sleepy, hon', and, she sighs, doubt I could focus enough to draw or compose anything right now. Chuckling, she says, I'll just sit and worry, then immediately gets up and smiles as she says, or pace and worry," as she starts pacing restlessly around the living area, putting her hands into her pockets to try and keep herself from nibbling her nails.
Lucine takes off her cap and adjusts the elastic band holding her ponytail together so it is not so tight as she listens to Horsea share her thoughts about what the nerd's girlfriend's brother is probably going through, then shakes her head as she puts her cap back on and says dryly, "Batshit crazy isn't going to help anything," looking a bit puzzled since Nash hadn't struck her as the losing control type at all.
Nodding when Forcias says that it is probably being on Hapes that has Nash on edge, Lucine gives him an inquisitively arched eyebrow when he says it would be the same for him were he on Kiffex but doesn't ask him to explain what he meant since it isn't really the time for the kind of SERIOUS CONVERSATION she has the feeling that question might lead to.
Looking at the Zabrak that has tagged along with Atlantis when she asks a few questions, Lucine tells her, "The Queen has to think about what the Chume'doro want too, they probably pushed for this crap in the first place. Makes sense, she muses, I mean, two of their own breaking their oaths and deserting reflects badly on them all. Lucine, as a member of the UDF can understand where the Chume'doro are coming from easily enough, and as much as she can sympathize with the Wan siblings, a part of her can't help feeling like they are getting off easy if they wind up just drummed out of the Chume'doro and face no other consequences for desertion and breaking an oath no one forced them make in the fist place, one they willing swore and then just as willingly broke. Not sure what he meant about the bias crap," Lucine says, just as curious about what that comment had meant as everyone else seems to be.

Atlantis did say mention that he wasn't going to start interpreting what Horsea had told them, and further than that, with some of the revelations made by Andros about other things, there was one thing that he had to keep in mind, everything, all of this was complicated and had reasons that had yet to be revealed to him. But he wasn't here as a Jedi, like he had said it was not a Jedi business, he was here to support friends, and that was it. At the same time though, it was good, even better to get the full picture instead of guessing left or right.
Sooner or later, patience was a virtue he supposed.
Not that he was away from the room and outside, it allowed Atlantis to concentrate and get a sense from the siblings at court. Horsea's words, which had gotten him to look at the Kiffar, at least made it clear. Plus with what he could assume currently. "Hmmm, and Lana probably has been his buffer his whole life too..." Before it probably changed, and now he had someone else in Honoghr, though Atlantis figured that as long as the Hapan was in a relatively safe space and surrounded by friends and people who cared about him, he'd be fine even if it seemed like he still had some pent up anger that would dissipate one way or another.
Looking at Saoirse when she asked some of those questions about the Chume'doro and the Queen, Atlantis had pointed at Lucine in agreement to what the Lieutenant had said. "The Queen might have the final say, but the Queen is also a woman that will constantly be under pressure from everyone that surrounds her. Will you also actually want as a Chume'doro to guard a person who hasn't taken any actions about the ones who deserted?" Atlantis knew that everything was complicated and being at top of the food chain so to speak could truly be difficult, and a lot of things had to be taken care of, or even addressed.
"I cannot say that I have the whole picture, because the whole bias thing is not something I understand either, but..." Glancing over his shoulder thankfully no Chume'doro were near enough to hear their discussion. "While I understand and also agree that Delaana and Nash should answer for their desertion, there were other attenuating circumstances for the both of them that made them decide to leave in the first place. We all heard it while coming here, and I do understand the siblings too. But all actions have consequences, and I am just hoping that in the end everyone get what they want, because that is all that matters now." Atlantis was compassionate and understanding, could be said that was because he is a Jedi, before also he was known to break some rules, or even just deviate on orders he had been given when he served as CorSec, but that was before when he answered to others, and this was now where he still answered to others to a certain to degree, but that often time was easily resolved when they just all talked about it and got on the same page.
"Bias or not, it is starting to sound that the Queen Mother definitely has a personal involvement with the Wan siblings." Atlantis finally said thoughtfully, why would the Queen be biased other than because she knew them personally or... He definitely should stop assuming and just take a breather finally looking at the ones that were with him. "Elika is going to hang here and wait for the siblings to return, as you might have guessed, Lucy, Ljiljana and Crystal are staying with her, and potentially Andros too, so do whatever you want, the three of you." He said with a grin before finally glancing at Saoirse and Mahela dubiously. "What do you want to do, the both of you? I can totally come with if you have some plans?" Atlantis figured that he would accompany them, beats him just staying here while they waited anyways...

Even in his tired state, Andros still paid attention, and perhaps currently his line of sight was aimed directly at Elika, but she certainly was biting her nails even more with what he had revealed. Plus it was Elika, and he knew her enough, plus he did worry about her. Not wanting to make her even more uncomfortable though Andros just focused on the people that were talking to him.
There wasn't much to be said, except politics in the larger sense of it all. "Politics, yes." Not an unfamiliar territory to him considering he did live in that setting due to his position in Umgul, and he really was not surprised that in one form or another it would be carried forward here, but that aside, not really wanting to waste his time on that, Andros stepped aside to let the ones departing the room go through. He reclosed the door behind them and since only four of them remained here, and hopefully it'll be much more comfortable for the architect, not that she wasn't comfortable earlier, it was the entire situation with her significant other, plus whatever revelation that occurred that seemed to stress her out.
Smiling fully perhaps, Andros just looked at Elika for a moment in silence before pushing away from the door and just sitting by the window which had a nice view though he didn't care about the view. "You know, Elika, considering all of this..." He meant the larger sense of things of course before adopting a more neutral expression at least and putting his hands down. "It's a good thing that Delaana is wanting to be released from her oath, I cannot even imagine you relocating here, and end up maybe alone while waiting for her to return from her duty." Andros left it at that, he knew that she hated having the attention or even prying eyes but it did make him wonder if she had entirely considered all of those things, if Lana, a Major in the Chume'doro ranks reentered service.
But that was a what if situation, and one that he really didn't even want to think about since that wasn't going to happen from the looks of it in any case.
"Need to know though," Andros began to ask seriously this time with a knowing expression. He did notice some of telltale signs, and she did seem to tense up when he talked about the Ereneda earlier, probably something that Crystal could concur with, but he wasn't going to push at all. "You know something right, but it's not your story to tell, and therefore adopting that well known Umgul mantra?" It wasn't an Umgul mantra so to speak, but it was one that he adopted, that even his brother did and considering their positions both, that was enough said, the Jedi as a whole on the planet had that said mantra. Lifting both of his hands to say he wasn't going to say anything more, Andros took a deep breath and looked out the window. "Despite the circumstances of being here, you gotta admit though, it's a nice place."

Shaking my head when Gorgeous tells me that she cannot fool me Maybe she could, just maybe from time to time, but no, definitely cannot. And poker face isn't all of that either which just makes me look at her with maybe lawyer mode of mine to squeeze out some answers, but I am not going to, and instead just let her know. "Nope, and something tells me also that you might be withholding something else. Wiggling my fingers before looking at hers, I figure that if she does not want to share then she has her reasons, and I completely respect that. When all of this is over also, we need to go to a nail salon. Grabbing my purse, I know that I should have something there, just placing my bag onto the coffee table, and just start to take out some of the contents, make up kit case, not that one, I keep rummaging inside and finally find that case that I need, just pulling the nail file and handing it to Gorgeous. This should give you something to do as well at least."
It's not that I mind people gnawing or biting their nails, it's not a pet peeve of mine, all I know she is stressed, anxious, and I would prefer her avoiding bloody fingernails from biting it too much. Maybe I did not help there at all by handing her that nailfile but hopefully and truly I just want her to do something else.
I wonder what they are thinking, the ones from Honoghr, I cannot even fathom what Sweet Cheeks might be going through as well. "I'll go see the ones from Honoghr later to see how they are holding up also. Perhaps also give them that good news that the Queen Mother actually did not want all of this to happen, but from what I did get, Nash didn't get a visit from a Chume'doro, it was his sister's comm that got him to come to Umgul, and now they are both here ... Looking around the suite finally, I have to admit it's lavishly decorated, and the hotel probably already paid for for us, I wonder how far the accommodation will go for. Not bad for a place."
That is how quickly we have been accommodated here, and we have the entire floor for our use, and can enjoy the amenities. Hopefully we can enjoy all of that together when all has been done. "Let's see ... Lifting my bag, and finally finding that welcome to the hotel thing, looking at the amenities the hotel has to offer, I just point out to Baby Girl that there seems to be a gym. Reason to blow off some steam maybe? Or even dance with one of the Stranges." Whatever, at least there is plenty of options, but I just put that aside for now as I listen to what Boss Man is saying to Gorgeous, grinning at what he said, and the last part of his statement. Definitely nothing to say there. I might be curious and perhaps want to know everything, but if people aren't comfortable with sharing, then respecting that entirely ...

Nash was still standing behind the table breathing softly, trying to control his hammering heart right now. He thought he could keep it together, he was wrong . . . Putting his hands down on the table, he could not wait to get out of this uniform which was now so foreign to him, which was making him react insubordinately maybe. Nash didn’t know, but what he did know was that he was stupid, and caused more trouble than he should have.
Hearing his sister speak, he finally nodded not in defeat but because she was right.
Finally standing to his full height and keeping his hands behind his back, he waited for the advocates to return, and noticed that his sister’s advocate was looking at the dent he had caused, which made him grit his teeth in annoyance more at himself than anything.
“I am sorry about that.” Began to say Nash sincerely but also apologetically, he placed his hand on the back of the chair and picked it up turning it upside down so that the seating was resting on the table. “For this too, I’ll repay for it.” One of the legs of the chair had been crushed and was probably hanging on a small thread here.
Though what the Captain said, going back to the hotel and have drinks or even dinner while they could bring whoever they wanted, that certainly appeased him and he did look down with a genuine and grateful smile. He was thankful also that she thought of their comfort at least, or mainly his, he didn’t know but considering they were still on Hapes, he wasn’t going address the Captain further, since technically all the women here ranked higher than him in any case, but he did look at his sister and blinked.
Just waiting for whomever’s say so, that they could just leave now from here and just go see everyone back at the hotel.

Forcias did notice Lucine’s inquisitive eyebrow when he mentioned Kiffex. Between Horsea’s stare and her decision to remain mute, to Lucy’s inquisitive expression, Forcias knew that she had forgotten about it when he mentioned it to her once. To him it was three years ago, though for her, he supposed it was recently.
He had asked her what had been her three best memories, a question she had returned to him. His first answer had been leaving Kiffex, that was his top best memory . . .
Though he did nod slightly to let her know that whenever she wanted, they could talk about it, and have that SERIOUS CONVERSATION if she so wished, and hopefully he was ready for.
Be that as it may, perhaps Atlantis was right, but Horsea being her didn’t want to stipulate, or even assume since her mind was presently more on the military aspect side of things. Although she did also understand how emotions or whatever situation could influence a person to take a certain decision that could be the best for them at the moment, but would certainly bite them back on the ass.
Her compassionate side though, understood it all the same, and as someone who had been supporting Forcias’ relationship from the very beginning, she was intimately aware of the rife within the Guardians present in Umgul. At least for all of them they didn’t answer to a Sheyf in Kiffu anymore, they branched out and followed a clan that they had always been loyal to. Mace even Ayla kept arguing that fact with her brother, they had decided to follow Mace, and therefore those rules were all out the window.
Arguments by her brother that Forcias was also Force sensitive . . .
Drama among their ranks, on a planet they now called home, Horsea knew that Mace wouldn’t care if plenty walked, she never asked them to follow her. Problem there was her brother who was loyal to the core and therefore couldn’t even pull away either. Why couldn’t he understand that?
Horsea guessed that this was a near same case scenario here amongst the Chume'doro, it was all about loyalty too, and a pressure that was invisible to the naked eye, but was there as it was represented by different corps in the Hapan Royal Guards.
“Perhaps indeed.” Horsea replied about that bias matter though there was no certainty in her tone either, and she obviously did not want to meddle with things that weren’t hers to meddle into. Inclining her head with a faint smile, Horsea closed her briefly and just picked up her go-to bag before looking at both Forcias and Lucy.
“I’ll see you two later, I am going to indulge to a shower, or even a bath before potentially sight-seeing.” Picking one of the rooms that was closer of the turbolifts for obvious reasons, she figured she’d just relax for now.
Forcias had just inclined his head before turning to Lucy with an inquisitive expression. “Freshen up, stroll in the city, and chow outside, or here?” Although come to think of it, they did not use republic credits here, right? Or did they, he supposed he’d figure it out in any case.

What Nikoleta had suggested, for tonight's plan, Lana was actually thankful for that, which did make her smile genuinely at least. And because Lana knew to actually speak than more than one word, she did tell Nikoleta, "Sounds good, but do not call them supermodels or holovid stars, although some of them might actually laugh about that." It was probably a quip and she looked at her brother with a faint smile, it had been what the Saoirse had referred his lawfirm's holonet page, a model agency catalogue.
"Te'ta'xida." Lana told Nikoleta genuinely, and even with a grateful smile, to her and even her brother's advocate. Walking over to her brother and wrapping her arm around his shoulders, Lana looked at him and placed her head against his temple. "C'mon Kai, let's get you back to Lindsay, she must be that worried about you..." Walking with Nash towards the exit of the conference room just next to him, she did not want him to walk a step back like he usually did, and just looked at both of the advocates. "I am guessing one of the guards, or several of them will take us to whatever hotel the Ereneda put everyone in?"
Not that there were plenty of hotels, unless it had changed since the last time she had been in Hapes, but she wasn't going to assume, further than that she wasn't even to say anything that she already knew who the Ereneda was for she did not want any other complications though at the same time, she wondered how she was doing presently and just finally said after a small debate in her mind.
"If you cross path with Nal, please tell her hello from me, and that I am sorry for just leaving without any explanations, the both of us." Purity div would know in any case, it was in Lana's file that she used to be linked to a Chume'doro before until they were found, and maybe they'd tell her, or maybe not, in any case it did not matter so much since she was pretty sure that Nalea had moved on as well anyways, just like she did.
Finally walking out of the conference room after Nash got his reply from either Nikoleta or Zenaida, she dropped her arm and hooked it to her brother's and just waited to be taken to the hotel...

Crystal did feel her friend's hand tightening around hers, which got her to look at the architect dubiously, it did not bother her, or hurt her, she was just surprised by her friend's reaction when Andros spoke about the Ereneda and shared what he had found out. There was probably something that Elika knew but didn't want to share, or wouldn't share, any of those things. Nevertheless Crystal did look at Elika worriedly and even with concern, and for a moment she wanted to tell the Architect to stop gnawing on her nails, but Crystal knew that might not happen with how anxious Elika was feeling.
Smiling and shaking her head when Elika silently apologized, which Crystal felt she did not need to do anyways, since this was a stressful situation either way, and until Lana returned with Nash, Crystal knew that neither Elika nor Lindsay would be at ease.
Narrowing her eyes briefly, Crystal just in the end let it go and figured she'd stop questioning it, plus she did not want to push Elika to the edge, and it was probably better to just remain clueless, or not question it further. It appeared to her at least that Elika definitely knew something about the Ereneda plus she had known Elika long enough to know that there were times, white lie or anything else, she wasn't that good at from the looks of it. "That is good then." Crystal replied to her friend before nodding understanding completely that with what was going on, Crystal supposed that nothing would put Elika at ease so to speak until the Hapan returned.
Amused by Lily who subtly addressed, but also did not push Elika for some answers about what the architect knew, the AG produced a nail file, or course she would. "Maybe there is one in this hotel." Crystal quipped about the nail salon, and just sat back on the couch before looking at the brochure, it did have nice amenities, and dancing with one of the Strange sisters, that would be fun but that might not happen any time soon until this was all over at least. "The gym definitely but not a priority of course." Crystal had to admit that indeed this wasn't a bad place at all, and she was quite surprised that the Ereneda went well over a mile for all of them with putting them all here and having Chume'doro as protection.
Sighing softly and looking at Andros who had just spoken to Elika, Crystal could not help but to smile since he mentioned that well known Umgul mantra, that actually did make her laugh. "Ohhh, I think all of us definitely have to use that mantra once, it's a rule." They all knew that Elika knew something, but they weren't going to push her about it because they were all guilty at some point about withholding due to the fact that it was not their story to tell indeed. Deep down though she was certain, or at least very hopeful that everything would end up being fine for everyone.
"You wanna take first round in going over to where Honoghr has gone off to, or you want me to go?" Crystal finally asked looking at her childhood friend, since obviously one of them were going to stay with Elika, even if Andros was still here, though she was quite certain that he wouldn't just leave in any case, because that was how much he did care about Elika too, just like all of them.

Even though Saoirse had asked Atlantis the questions about the Queen Mother, the pilot lady with Forcias answers them first, explaining that the Queen has to make sure the Royal Guards are satisfied since their honor is at stake as Delaana and her brother's actions reflect poorly on the Chume'doro as a whole. Atlantis adds his thoughts after the pilot says she isn't sure what the bias thing meant, and Saoirse listens to him describe how the Queen is probably often under pressure from just about everyone around her, and finds herself wondering how it would be to have to live always surrounded by people wanting things or trying to convince you to do this or that or give them this or that and having to always think about how any decision you make might affect the populace or the different groups you have to appease.
"Doesn't sound like being Queen would be a very fun job," Saoirse says after Atlantis has talked about actions having consequences even though everything has a story behind it and how the bias stuff makes it seem that the Queen Mother might have some kind of relationship with one or both Wan siblings. It is a bit head wrecking to even think about how even though no one wants to see Delaana and her brother punished, some of them feel that the fact they deserted should have some repercussions and can understand how the Chume'doro must feel about the matter.
Shaking her head to try and throw off some of the confusingly tangled thoughts that the pilot lady and Atlantis left her with after trying to answer what had seemed at the time to be pretty simple questions, Saoirse reminds herself that being a Jedi is probably going to mean dealing with complicated situations of one kind or another so she should probably work on seeing things from multiple perspectives before coming to her own opinion.
"I think we'll just hang out here at the hotel, Saoirse tells Atlantis after he asks what they plan to do, There are a bunch of things to do here, like swim, grab some lunch, soak up some steam in the sauna or work out or get massages, so I'm sure we'll find something to do while we wait for Delaana and Nash to get back."
Mahela, keeping her thoughts about the Wan siblings and how the Queen might be biased to herself, smiles as she tells Atlantis in her soft voice, "We haven't made any plans just yet, so why don't you let us know what you'd like to do and we can start with that and do some things we pick if there's time later?" Getting the impression from what she has seen so far that Atlantis is someone who routinely puts the needs or wants of others before his own, Mahela hopes he takes the chance to think of himself and what he wants first for a change.

Lindsay could still feel the shifts in Nash's mood the longer he, and Lana, were away from them. Toying with the chain of her necklace with one hand, while placing the other on her hip, Lindsay looked out the window overlooking the sprawling city before her. A look of thoughtful concentration on her face as she maintained the link with Nash through their mental bond.
No apologies needed, Sidoor. The only thing that matters right now, is you both coming back to us. We'll figure everything else out when you get here.
Turning away from the window while dropping the chain from her fingertips and letting it fall back beneath the collar of her shirt, she met Stefanie's, Andie's, Brion's, and Nikky's expectant gazes with a relieved smile.
"They'll be coming back to the hotel soon. Apparently they've wrapped up their initial strategizing, for now anyway..."

Shaking his head in confirmation, when Saoirse mentioned that being Queen wasn't fun at all, Atlantis smiled faintly before replying. "No, I am sure that it's not at all, anyone with an important position is never fun, a lot of responsibilities, and a lot of things to consider too." Atlantis might not have held the same position as the Ereneda, but he understood it all the same being who he was back on the planet he had come to call him. He always had to make sure that everyone was content, or even were heard.
All of the responsibilities, though thankfully for his case it was just the Academy, but for the Queen Mother, it was the whole Consortium, and whatever else.
Atlantis had no clue, and the whole history of this planet besides whatever basics, at least that he knew but the politics all around, he had no intentions in wanting to know or find out. In a sense he figured also what his very own brother did for Umgul, that certainly had some analogies maybe, except Andros probably had more leeway all the same but again, still...
Inclining his head to Saoirse when letting him know what she had planned, Atlantis turned to look at Mahela with a warm smile. He did look a bit surprised though when asked what he actually wanted to do, that was a good question, though he did have some ideas not really too difficult in that area honestly. "Good question, though to be perfectly honest, I just want to sit down, maybe read a book, have coffee, or even stroll around, and see what the atmosphere is like here." Atlantis admitted thoughtfully though he did glance at the doors that held the people that were waiting for Delaana and Nash to come back.
"Though since I would also be a little uncomfortable with just venturing around the city for the time being, grab some lunch to begin with is an idea, and just hang back and have coffee there while reading a holobook while maybe you two go have that massage if you want?" Atlantis suggested thoughtfully, he was the kind that didn't necessarily to always move around, he was just fine with sitting at a place, it gave him some peace too, he was actually more concerned about Saoirse also who often needed to move he guessed, and he figured that he would adapt to what she preferred than what he'd usually do during his down times. Though it would also give him a chance to talk a bit more with Mahela too, and maybe address some more questions that Saoirse would have about Crystal, and her being attuned to the Force, and whatnot even though she had not revealed that to anyone before just yet, especially those at the Academy.
