"Makes you wonder why anyone would want to be in an important position at all," Saoirse replies to Atlantis after he points out that being in such a position requires fulfilling a lot of responsibilities as well as needing to consider a variety of things when making any decisions.
"She may not have wanted to be in the position, Mahela points out, The position of Queen Mother is hereditary, so she was probably raised from birth to take on the role."
Saoirse frowns as she thinks about what it must be like to have one's future planned out more or less entirely for them, never having any option but to follow that plan. Tossing her rock up and down in her palm, Saoirse sighs and turns her thoughts to other things before she gets too bummed out thinking of about what it would be like for the Ereneda to have known from a young age that she would be the Queen one day and to have given up whatever dreams she had of her own.
Mahela pats Saoirse's back, able to tell that her friend is getting a little down due to either the talk about the Queen or to the general worry for Delaana and Nash. "Why don't, Mahela suggests after Atlantis has stated what he would like to do, we go to the lobby and join you for a cup of caf? There is a restaurant and caf bar on the first floor of the hotel, and they might get a feel for the atmosphere like Atlantis has expressed an interest in doing. After that, Mahela tells Saoirse, if Nash and Delaana are not back, maybe we can swim or get massages."
"Sounds good to me! Saoirse says cheerily, guessing that either swimming or getting a massage will help her out immensely in relaxing or distracting her from everything that Atlantis hoped she could forget for a while about what happened back on Umgul as well as from the stressful situation here on Hapes. Remembering a few questions she had set aside to ask later as they make their way to the turbolifts, Saoirse asks, How come Crystal keeps the fact she is a Force sensitive a secret? Are Lily or Elikapeka Force Sensitive too? Is Crystal training in secret to be a Jedi? How far along is she in her training?"
Mahela, in light of what Atlantis had said about getting a feel for the atmosphere, listens as he and Saoirse speak while she watches the other guests and hotel staff that they pass on their way to the caf bar. The Hapan Royal Guards are keeping true to their word to be unobtrusive, and Mahela doesn't see any sign of them anywhere. The other guests they pass seem to consist mostly of attractive, wealthy women with handsome men on their arms, while the hotel staff seems to consist mostly of men except for a few women in upper management positions. None of the men in either group seem particularly unhappy or discontent, and when they get to the caf bar and order their drinks the men on the staff are all bubbly and polite. Since Hapes has, from what Mahela understands, not changed very much in its long history, it is likely that most men do not question or maybe even notice the ways they are treated unequally, or have been brought up to accept their subservient role. Mahela also sees a younger family with an infant son among the guests they pass, and is a little surprised to see the mother doting so much on her son. The family looks young and a less affluent than other guests, making Mahela think that most of the inequality is born from and kept alive among the rich, influential noble families.
Waving a hand in front of Mahela's face when the Togruta gets a familiar thinking about other things expression, Saoirse asks Atlantis, "What do you think of everything so far, Master? It doesn't seem quite as bad as I was expecting it to based on what Delaana and Nash had said," she observes, guessing it was not the best idea to judge a whole world based on the experiences of only two of its inhabitants, as natural as it was to do so when those two were so close with friends of the academy.

Atlantis considered for a moment Saoirse's statement, why would anyone want an important position? That was a good question overall, the one that related to the current Queen Mother while indeed hereditary, like Mahela mentioned, some did not have a choice, and some where thrusted into it. Atlantis knew some people to be in that case, he was one of those, and Andros also was one of those for whatever reasons that happened back then. Sure it was a choice they could have denied, but at the same time, would they actually deny it? Further than that for Andros, it was to put a stop on a takeover from their uncle back then and avoid everyone a headache.
"Don't worry to much about it, just enjoy your time, and just observe disregarding the politics, and everything that go with it. I have brought you both here to hopefully admire something else that is far away from our current home." Of course there was still that pending thing about the siblings, but at the same time it did not mean that they should stop living and discover something else entirely. Atlantis did not know Hapes at all, he didn't know its people, he did not know the culture, he just knew why Nash and Delaana left.
Weren't they the same in some ways, just wanting to escape their past from time to time and hopefully find something different, and greater than what they had been brought up into. As Mahela had figured, Atlantis had often been one to actually care first and foremost about what others wanted or needed before thinking about himself, and it was fine by him honestly, he was used to it, and it was how he more or less came to be who he was now. Right now though he did have a grateful smile when the Togruta mentioned what they should do, plus it would definitely give him some idea about the atmosphere altogether.
Waiting for the turbolift, Atlantis grinned looking at the Zabrak when the question about Crystal being attuned to the Force was brought up. "Crystal has her reasons, obviously, and in a large part it's tied to her family history also." He knew he was no forthcoming again, and he also knew that he was opening another can of worms, but he just told her with a knowing smile. "I'll encourage you to have a talk with her when you get a chance, though as for secretly training to being a Jedi, no, not at all, she has no intentions of becoming one, but as for how far along she is, her brother, Ryan, will be the first one to say that his sister is way better than him, as a warrior and as a healer too." In a way, Atlantis was inclined to be in agreement with Ryan, for Ryan always focused on the healing side of things, and some of the other core powers, Crystal had been more rounded in her training. "As for Lily and Elika, no, those two are definitely not attuned." He wanted to even add that Crystal wasn't either until a few years ago, but that again was another can of worms.
Getting to the lobby, Atlantis scanned the area for a moment, peacefully too, he was not surprised at all that everyone here was alluring obviously, ordering his caf and waiting for the ones that were with him to order, Atlantis just sat down at an empty table, and since he loved to observe most interaction around, it did seem that everything seemed peaceful and everyone were just fine with their lives. At least here, a mother dotting on her son, that wasn't surprising at all, though did it also have anything with what hopefully the future could be for the young man, in the back of his mind, he remembered Nash saying that status was everything in Hapes, and therefore influence, Atlantis guessed...
Finally snapping out of his thoughts, and looking at Saoirse with a warm smile the first thing Atlantis had told her. "You do know you are under no obligation to call me Master, right? Especially right now, since we are not training, at all." Lifting his hand with a faint chuckle, Atlantis pondered for a moment, "No, it does not at all, but I am guessing that this has been the status quo for a while that people are used to this in general. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but of course I am sure that sometimes people will want more, maybe." Picking up his coffee caf, and just looking around for a bit, "What I do regret though, I should have done it like my brother, and perhaps take up some Hapan lessons to understand what people are saying..." Shaking his head with an amused grin, Atlantis figured his brother had his own reasons anyways, and that would certainly help either way.
Looking at Mahela with a faint grin, "What about you, what do you think thusfar?" Atlantis asked curiously knowing that from what he guessed, even depicted, she was good at observing indeed, and he actually would love to have her impressions.

Hapes, there was a vibe, clearly, the lack of males in their welcoming committed was glaring, plus the fact that Leed seemed to have his head down while walking away with his sister, that was just so not Nash at all. Brion had watched his good friend, one he considered like a brother too just walk away without much of a word but just to Linds. It was different for Brion, he never saw the man being submissive that way, part of the society he supposed, one that for a lack of better word did surprise him. Sure he heard it all when they were heading to Hapes, but to see it with his own eyes, that was so not like Nash.
Obviously Brion spent the time being silent, and just observing, at least one of those things it just was applicable to Hapans, he had noticed a few things but besides that he just stayed silent and went into a room with everyone from Honoghr, and while they were in this room, Brion just sat down still trying to wrap his mind around everything. The rollercoaster of emotions from Nash was undeniable...
Looking at Lindsay just seriously, and silently, she was the better person who would know how her man felt truly.
"Yeah that one witness a piece is bullshit." Brion pretty much stated what everyone was thinking anyways, but still it was better than nothing which he mentioned too, "Better than nothing, and thankfully Ljiljana said something about that." Rubbing his forehead and just finally walking over to the minibar to grab some water, he gestured to the bottle asking if anyone else wanted something to drink, he'd pass that along, other than that he just returned to sitting down on the armrest of the couch.
"Here's to hoping that we meet those advocates too," Taking a sip of his water, and looking at Linds at least with an encouraging smile. "The fact that at least it hasn't taken that long, it gotta mean something right? I am sure that it'll work our for the best." He was trying to be hopeful of course, always, even if sometimes their line of work wasn't filled with good news, but all things considering, the fact that they were redirected to the hotel at least after a long wait up in orbit, that has to mean something.
"Also did you pick up what Umgul VG was talking about with one of those Chume'doro?" He was curious, that was a fact, although they weren't that close enough at least, but he had heard the VG speaking in Hapan, which was foreign to Brion overall but he supposed that he had picked up some words here and there due to the fact that Nash and Lindsay sometimes did speak Hapan to one another back on Honoghr, but not often honestly.

Considering this is a fancy place, wouldn't be surprised indeed. "Let's just add pampering to that celebration, then. Since none of us are ready to just take advantage of the amenities, plus the siblings are going to be confined to their rooms when they return, and so that would suck but at least when this is all over, it would be something to look forward to. I'll take first round, Standing up and heading towards Gorgeous to let her know that I'll be nearby just checking up on Honoghr, I just peck her cheek gently before smiling. Just holler when you need me, alright."
Turning to depart the room, and noticing that Lover Boy is with the besties and are probably going to just enjoy some amenities ... Good, they might need some relaxation too after what Saoirse particularly went through back on Umgul ... Knocking on the room that I know Honoghr has decided to occupy together for the time being, just entering and closing the door behind me, I finally scan the room and finally find Sweet Cheeks who seems at ease, at least.
Or at least as much as she can be, considering ... Having heard PJ's statement about what Boss Man and that chick were talking about, it actually caused me to laugh humorlessly briefly before adopting a serious expression. "The Chume'doro talking with Andros earlier, guess what, she was the one on Umgul who delivered the scroll to your man's sis. I inform them all, which is probably why Andros was playing nice and getting some information. For a moment I thought he was hitting the chick, but it wasn't that at all ... He also requested an audience with the Ereneda, and apparently it would be doable after the court-martial because the Queen Mother, obviously will be part of the tribunal hearing the cases, and so to prevent any bias, she won't be interacting with the siblings, or any of us until everything has concluded."
Waving my hand the whole bias thing is one that I can understand to a certain degree, but it seems that there was more to it at least that is what my guts are telling me. I am also sure that several other things have been happening while I was in the other room, the atmosphere is already heavy. But anyways. "How are you holding up, Sweet Cheeks?" I ask her with genuine concern, after all, all of us here, at least most, we all grew up together, and I know for a fact that Lindsay is from here too, but left with her old man due to reasons. Must not be easy either.

Escorted by the Chume'doro back to the hotel, Nash figured that whomever was going to be stationed in front of their rooms to make sure he and his sister stayed there, and did not just wander or escaped before their court-martial . . .
Head down, Nash was still quite aware of the gazes they seemed to be garnering, but at the same time he didn’t care as much since thankfully they weren’t bound or whatever, and probably looked like they were on official business, plus there was also that chatter that off worlders were around, and that they were the Ereneda's guests. Further than that, Nash felt absolutely nothing, he just had that vacant expression on his features, even in the turbolift.
Not so focused on his surroundings like he would always be, Nash was mainly focused on that other person that meant the galaxy to him.
Finally on the upper level of the hotel and noticing that most of the Chume'doro weren’t filled out in the hallway as they actually would be, Nash somewhat grinned briefly about that, but it did not stay long since he knew that he’d have probably someone stationed in front the room he was in, just like his sister, speaking of which, he stopped on his tracks and pointed at the room where his sister’s Shakal was, and she wasn’t currently alone.
“I’ll talk to you later, sestra.” Said Nash as he waited for a moment for his sister to go into the room where Elika was, and he briefly caught the architect’s gaze before inclining his head with a faint smile.
Nash was pretty sure that his Childao knew that he was nearby by now, taking a deep breath, Nash finally opened the door where all of the lawyers were in before closing the door behind him. Sighing and just walking straight to Lindsay, he placed his hand on her cheek and kissed her lips lovingly as if his life also depended on it before pulling back slightly and resting his forehead against hers . . .
“Thank you for talking to me while I was there . . .” Nash gratefully told her in Hapan, he might have snapped if it weren’t for her, if it weren’t for Lana either, so he was thankful that he had that voice of reason, that Lindsay had reached out to him. “I love you so much.” Added Nash this time in Basic as he looked into her eyes with a loving gaze, and smile before breathing softly.
He knew that he had to fill them all in, and he also knew that while it wasn’t what he particularly liked, that was probably the best in the end . . . But with Mel walking over to him and purring plus rubbing herself against his leg, Nash looked down at the feline with a warm smile, giving her a gentle scratch. "I know sweetie. I'll try not to let us get separated again."

Saoirse nods when Atlantis says that they should try to forget about politics and related things while they are here, as much as possible given the reason that they are here, and to try and just enjoy the opportunity to see another world and culture. It is a bit hard for Saoirse to think of the trip as just a little vacation after hearing about what Delaana and her brother had been through, and knowing what they are going through, but she tries to set all of that aside, if only for now.
Smiling when Atlantis kind of answers her question about Crystal and uses what is becoming a familiar refrain to her by suggesting that she and Mahela talk to Crystal herself if they want to know more about her reasons for keeping the fact she is a Force sensitive a secret. Saoirse is pretty comfortable with Crystal after having spent some time with her at the academy, and so makes a note to ask her about the matter when an opportunity presents itself since she is pretty sure Atlantis would not have suggested that idea if he thought Crystal would not be open to talking about it.
When Atlantis says that she doesn't have to call him Master, Saoirse explains, "I know, but I guess I should start getting into the habit when are in public, and even though we aren't training I am starting to get the impression that being a Jedi isn't something that you can just turn off even when you are on a vacation, so am trying to get into the habit of thinking like a Jedi, well a Jedi student, even when we aren't training. Nodding with a smile when Atlantis says he wishes he had taken some Hapan lessons so he could understand what was being said around them, Saoirse agrees, It would be nice to be able to at least order a caf without having to point at things, which is what they had to do when ordering their caf since the male barista did not speak Basic, then suggests, Maybe we should look into buying or renting a protocol droid while we're here?"
Mahela takes a sip of her caf before proposing, "Or some personal universal translators, since the devices would make communicating easier than relying on a protocol droid to translate for them. The court-martials will probably be held in Hapan, so we should at least get two for the witnesses. Looking around and spotting a gift shop, Mahela says, They might have some in the gift shop, and if not I'm sure someplace in the city will sell them. Smiling when Atlantis asks her what she thinks of Hapes so far, Mahela takes another drink of her caf before she says, Well, we haven't been here too long, and from what I read about the capital on the way here we're only seeing the noble or upper class, but it's very different from what I imagined after hearing Delaana and her brother's stories about their time here."
Mahela purses her lips in thought as she gathers her thoughts before saying, "I think we all heard second class citizens and put it together with what Nash described as his experience and assumed males were treated harshly, or almost like slaves. Seeing how the male staff of the hotel interact with the female management though, I think it's more accurate, or maybe commonplace is a better word, that men on Hapes have a ceiling imposed on how high they can rise in any field. It is really, it seems to me, a reversal of the way many worlds viewed women in the past as less suited for some roles than men. I haven't seen any of the men being mistreated, or any of them looking cowed in the presence of their female bosses, which suggests to me that your idea about them being accustomed to the inequality is correct."
Adding an observation of her own that is unrelated to what Mahela has been talking about, Saoirse says, "The males and females both seem unfamiliar with non humans. I've seen a few of them staring at me and Mahela while we've been sitting here, not in a rude way or anything, but in a curious one."
Nodding, Mahela says, "That makes sense. Hapes probably doesn't get many tourists from worlds outside the Consortium, and most, if not all of the guests here are probably from worlds in the Consortium. I doubt many of them have ever seen a Togruta or a Zabrak."
Grinning, Saoirse says, "Well, they have now, and then tilts her head towards a Hapan couple that looks as though they belong to the noble class and are holding hands and gazing into one another's eyes lovingly, And I think it's safe to say that not all women see men as just breeding stock."
"Of course they don't, Mahela says, smiling as she points out, Even if that is a commonly held view, its in the nature of nearly all sentient species to develop feelings for those they spend time with. I'm sure that attractiveness is the main thing members of the noble houses look for when choosing partners, but that doesn't mean that some won't wind up falling in love with their spouses anyway. I'd think it would be a common occurrence in fact."
Shrugging, Saoirse says, "So, maybe Hapes isn't as bad a place as it seemed after hearing Delaana and her brother talk about it."
Nodding, Mahela agrees, "I am sure that they are not alone in having bad experiences or wanting more that the Hapan society has to offer them, but I think it's not not as oppressive a society as it seemed. And, she points out, there are always individuals that are unhappy with their home worlds for one reason or another. Interested to hear what Atlantis thinks about Hapes himself, Mahela asks him, What about you, Grandmaster? What do you think of Hapes so far?"

Inclining his head when Saoirse explained why she kept calling him Master when he had told her she did not need to, he understood her reasoning. That was the truth, just because he was on vacation so to speak, he couldn't entirely shut off being a Jedi, as that was a big part of him, just like being a guardian too, and he guessed a mentor now as well. "You are right about that." He conceded with a knowing smile before slightly lighting one of his sleeves, at least discreetly to show her that he did in fact still have his lightsaber with him. "I never go anywhere without them, and I will also always look around and keep sensing in the background at least intermittently." Smiling, that was just him, it wasn't that he wasn't trusting that nothing would happen at present time, he always actually liked being prepared just in case. Better safe than sorry, plus the whole having Chume'doro guarding them was enough indication at least for him to be mindful of his surroundings.
Pertaining the protocol droid, that was an idea although he supposed he didn't want to have one of those so he was definitely preferable in going with what Mahela had suggested. "That's a good idea, perhaps buy several of them for most of us." He laughed at that, since after all, not all of them spoke or understood Hapan anyways, a few did at least, and one of the witnesses, from what he knew could speak and understand Hapan definitely considering that she was from here. "Nash's probable witness will not be needing a translator." Atlantis informed her with a smile before explaining. "Counselor Lindsay Mildhurt is actually half Hapan from what I do know, and was told." Whether she lived here on Hapes or not, that was something he did not know actually as he never asked or questioned come to think of it. Plus he and the Hapan lawyer weren't close, but she was close to Lily and Crystal, all Atlantis knew was that Crystal and the others often protected her or even shielded her when they were younger.
Leaning back against his seat and just briefly looking around, it was certain that at least they were mostly in the presence of higher class Hapans at least, plus this was the Capital of Hapes, he supposed. Nodding slightly when Mahela mentioned that statement from Nash, and he figured that several of them just took it as being poorly treated and maybe undervalued so to speak, but a fact remained definitely, like also what the Togruta had said, they had that semblance of ceiling and could not ascend further no matter what they did. Although Atlantis wasn't really comfortable with that, he knew in a sense that women in some other worlds were in the position of the men here, and could he really judge so to speak when he was also somewhat in a relatively privileged position?
Lacing his fingers together, and briefly smiling when Mahela had not only called him Grandmaster, which got him to look at her with an amused expression and an arched eyebrow that said 'not you too' but she also asked him for his opinion. "I do agree with your views indeed, however currently also we are in a fancy hotel, which obviously seems to only have the upper class in society, and from memory Nash did mention that his parents were simple commoners too. It sounded to me that Lana probably despised that her brother probably was the pawn in social ascension for them, maybe?" Apparently there was a lot of that going on, particularly amongst the noble houses too, competition removed and whatever.
"But to reply to your question, insofar it's not that bad at all, but again, fancy place, then again maybe I should get used to it even if I'd be just fine in swanky motel." Atlantis did have a spartan upbringing and well as long as he had a place to sleep even if it was not fancy, that was just fine with him though he knew that with people he was closed to, maybe that wouldn't be that possible in his case. "Then again, I shouldn't be surprised in the end, considering..." Gesturing upwards slightly to emphasize the people they were with, politician, lawyers, CFO. "The Ereneda seemed to have rolled out the red carpet for us, and it didn't even seem that they were aware of who we were either." Atlantis supposed that not only did the Queen Mother cared about her citizens but also the ones who weren't from here in any case, and just made sure that they were comfortable overall.
Slightly looking on the side and smiling slightly before looking up momentarily, Atlantis somewhat finally had his mind at ease, as it appeared that finally the Hapan siblings had returned. "Nash, and Delaana seem to be back." Atlantis said with a faint smile before adding. "That certainly might be a relief for their significant others, and best to let them be for the time being, I am guessing, as I am sure the lawyers might ask for updates of what has been talked about." Taking another sip of his coffee, Atlantis looked at some of the people that were indeed curiously looking at their table, especially Mahela and Saoirse, which got him to look at both of the women. "They do seem to be curious indeed," Unable to help himself, Atlantis just smiled and inclined his head respectfully before chuckling. "If people start wanting to take selfies with you two, I'll make sure to step aside." He playfully and jokingly told them with a faint laughter.

Saoirse grins when Atlantis reveals that he has his lightsaber with him, prompting her to ask in a hushed voice, "So, when will I be constructing my lightsaber, Master?" Having seen that Aidan and some of the other learners and Padawans have their own lightsabers, Soairse is curious about when in the training process it is common for students to build their lightsabers. When Atlantis mentions that he is in the habit of periodically using the Force to get a sense of what is going on around them, probably to make sure there are no hints of danger, Saoirse makes a note to start trying to get in the habit of doing so herself.
Nodding when Atlantis points out that since they are in the capital city and surrounded mostly by Hapans in the upper or noble classes, Mahela says, "That is a good point, and you may be right that members of the middle or lower classes would possibly view their sons as, like you said, pawns to be maneuvered to try and increase their social standing. Frowning in thought, she says, If you're right about Nash's family using him that way, it would certainly explain why he and his sister were so eager to get away, especially if they had so many other horrible experiences. Hopefully the court-martials will be over quickly so they can both get away from here."
Nodding in agreement with her friend, Saoirse says, "From what Andros said that is what the Queen wants too, so I am sure it won't be a long, drawn out process. When Atlantis reminds them that the Queen had rolled out the red carpet for them even though she didn't know they were coming or who they were other than friends of Delaana and Nash, Saoirse guesses, Maybe since off world visitors are so rare, she wanted to make sure we felt welcome even with the other things going on?"
Mahela nods, "It does seem like she is being very accommodating, thinking of how the Royal Guards had made their presence as unintrusive as they could after it became clear some of the members of their party were uncomfortable with the idea of being watched over. Smiling when Atlantis says that Delaana and Nash are back, Mahela agrees with him, I am sure that Lindsey and Elikapeka will be relieved they are back. Laughing at the idea of any of the Hapans wanting to take selfies with her or Saoirse, Mahela says, I don't think you'll have to worry about that, since the Hapans that have been looking at her and her friend curiously so far have shown no interest in approaching them. After finishing the last of her caf, Mahela tells Atlantis, If you want to go and check on Nash and Delaana, Saoirse and I can entertain ourselves, Grandmaster, smiling with a shrug as she remembers how he had looked at her with an amused expression when she had used his title before and promises, I'll work on trying not to use your title," since using his title seems more polite to her despite his silent protest.
"He'll survive, won't you Master? Saoirse asks with a grin, and then since she isn't sure he wouldn't prefer to give Delaana and her brother some time alone with their significant others before checking in on them, offers, You can hang out with us for a while longer if you want to, asking Mahela, Pool or massages?"
Frowning in thought as she considers the options offered, Mahela says after a moment, "Pool, since she imagines that will suit Saoirse's active nature better than the massages, and then suggests, We can check out the gift shop too, to see if they have any universal translators."

The trip to the hotel was uneventful, she did not talk, her brother did not talk either, at least not verbally. She had always known Nash to never express himself verbally whenever they were surrounded by Chume'doro, and this time wasn't any different at all. Whether he said anything to her or not at all, that was for her only, and it would always remain that way...
When they finally got to their floor, Lana looked at his brother and smiled when he indicated the room of where her Shakal was, and just like herself, she was very certain that her brother would be wanting to get back to Lindsay immediately. Opening the door and noticing that Crystal was inside along with Andros, Lana just closed the door behind her and walked to her Shakal to just hug her, and to reassure her knowing that the Architect had been worried considering how they had to separate from the movable landing platform.
Thanking both Andros and Crystal for keeping her company before they departed to give them some privacy, Lana finally kissed her girlfriend chastely and noticed that the Architect had been biting her nails. Not wanting to make a big deal out of it presently, Lana just mentioned that they should just relax, and maybe talk while taking a bath, for she also wanted to get out of this armor that was no longer an important part of her...

Quite relief with Nash but also Delaana's return, Crystal figured that both Elika and Lana would at least want some privacy which was the reason why she did not ask any question, nor did say anything further before stepping out of the room, finding a Chume'doro guarding the room, which made sense since both of the siblings would stay confined to their rooms from what she understood previously.
Finally electing on picking a room for herself and Atlantis, Crystal just dumped her shoulder bag there, but still grabbed her commlink and datapad just in case before heading towards where she could feel the others were in this floor. Knocking on the door and entering, Crystal looked at all the lawyers with a faint smile before glancing at everyone knowing that both Nash and Lindsay would want some alone time until whatever.
"Gave Lana and Elika some privacy," Crystal explained thoughtfully before closing the door behind her since there was a guard that would make sure that Nash and Lana would stay in the premises in any case. But Crystal also knew just like Lily that Elika's anxieties would be mostly tamed by Lana, hence why Crystal had preferred to give them that time alone.
"Maybe you two will want some time alone also before updating everyone?" Crystal asked thoughtfully before looking at Lily and despite the fact that the siblings were back, there was still that question hanging on why bias had come into play. "Also we should definitely get some lunch, either we room service it, or we head down to the restaurant?"
Surely Nash and Lana could still step out of their rooms and go eat at the restaurant of this hotel right, or it was definite confinement to their rooms until the court-martials. Considering though that there were still several Chume'doro here, she was certain at least they would still keep an eye or several on Nash and Lana, and act like statues maybe...

Smiling when Saoirse asked when she'd be constructing her lightsaber, "When we return to Umgul, there is a rite of passage called the Gathering, which you can look up even now or any time you want. We, the Councilors, were going to task one of the Padawans, to take some of the younglings and initiates alike to a crystal cave for them to find their own crystal each, but depending on how many I might come along." Atlantis began to explain thoughtfully, it was the first step indeed, though he added also, "But it's no easy feat, constructing a lightsaber, it won't mean a thing if you do have a crystal, so I'll tell you also to read or listen to the lightsaber construction, and philosophy when you do get a moment." Atlantis did go through all of those back then, and it took some time for him to initially built his lightsabers, but with dedication it became easy, and also he had gathered different crystals throughout the years, and kept the ones he had now.
"We shall talk more about it when you read up, or listen to some of those texts."
That was all he said on the matter, for he actually didn't want to overload her with too much information, plus also the Gathering and finding their own crystal it came with a trial of some sort, the initiate had to overcome their own personal fears and failings, but considering what had just happened recently on Umgul also, what happened to Saoirse, he preferred to ease her into it first and foremost, before mentioning what she might come to expect, so he just glazed over it for now.
Pertaining Nash and Delaana, perhaps indeed they did want to get away from here as quickly as possible, though at the same time Atlantis was hoping they'd find their peace once they were once and for all released from their oaths. "Yes, there is indeed a possibility that they'll want to get away from here as soon as they are released, but part of me think that maybe they also find it in themselves to find closure once and for all, it would be a pity too to leave angry still, especially Nash. But whatever they do decide, of course, everyone of us will support them." Atlantis left it at that, he was one to not just up and leave when he had some sort of unfinished business, plus both of the siblings had been Chume'doro, so that should have meant something for them, no? Plus Nash had mentioned that he had befriended someone from the noble house here.
With their return at the hotel though, and Mahela's suggestion that perhaps he would want to check up on them, Atlantis smiled and shook his head. "No, I won't be checking up on them at all, the people they are currently with are in that better position than me." Atlantis grinned, it's not that he did not care about the siblings, it was just the fact that he was not particularly close to them. "Crystal has a better affinity with Lana, after all they have been working together for a while now, though something tells me that she'll give Elika and Lana some privacy, and Nash has his Childao, or his diamond as I have come to understand the meaning for that Hapan word, and his friends." Overall, Atlantis was just here to support mainly Elika too after his brother volunteered him to come.
Finishing his caf, Atlantis placed his cup down and took a deep breath before looking at the two friends with a warm smile. "Therefore if you'll still have me, you two, please accept me as your chaperone." Atlantis said with a grin before looking at Mahela knowingly. "And please do just call me by my name, Mahela, or I will be in that position of calling you constantly Ms. Kanoska." He warned her playfully before glancing at both of them to check if they were also done with their bevvie, "Let's go check that gift shop and have a universal translator, then go to the pool, I will just be in the lounge chair and pull out my dapatad and potentially start learning Hapan." Standing up and gesturing, "Shall we?"
After that detour in that gift shop which thankfully had some of those translators, Atlantis told them to get anything else they wanted, or fancied, after making sure that they got what they wanted and whatever they potentially needed, they finally headed to the pool which thankfully was empty for now though he also locked in Crystal's signature and addressed her privately. We are at the pool if you are looking for us, also you might have some questions headed your way from Saoirse... Leaving it at that, Atlantis settled on a lounge chair and took his datapad out, plugging in his earbuds after putting the shopping bag on his side securely, he searched for some Hapan lessons.
"Maybe Crystal will join us later, or anyone else really, she knows we are here." Atlantis informed them with a chuckle when they came back from changing.

Saoirse, naturally, has about a thousand questions about the Gathering that Atlantis explains will be the first step in constructing her lightsaber, but since he says that she should read up on or listen to the details of the rite of passage and lightsaber construction and philosophy Saoirse holds her questions for later despite her excitement. Even though Atlantis says that constructing a lightsaber is not an easy task, Saoirse has enough experience building and modifying her datapad and dataterminal that she believes she will be up to the task, and looks forward to the challenge it might present.
Saoirse looks a little skeptical when Atlantis says that he hopes Nash and Delaana will be able to find some closure while they are here on Hapes, remembering all the things both of the siblings had shared about their experiences on their home world that led them to leave it. Nodding in agreement when Atlantis says that they will all support whatever decision the siblings make about whether to stay on Hapes for a while after their court-martials have been completed, Saoirse says, "I hope you're right about them finding some closure while we're here, it would be nice if they could leave without any lingering bad feelings."
Mahela smiles when, after explaining that he won't be checking up on Delaana and Nash right away since they will both probably want to spend some time alone with their significant others, Atlantis says that he will be their chaperone if they don't have any objections, telling him, "We would be happy to have you along as our chaperone, pausing and looking a little discomfited as she uses his name rather than his title even though it feels strange to her, Atlantis, and then jokes, so long as you do not mind the fact we are all probably going to get a few stares since Saoirse and I are so strange looking to the natives."
After they go to the gift shop, where Mahela insists on paying for her and Saoirse's personal universal translators, she and Saoirse go to their room to change into their swimsuits and get their towels. When they rejoin Atlantis at the pool, Saoirse is wearing a simple black bikini and Mahela has changed into a floral patterned bikini with a skirted bottom. Saoirse, after nodding with a grin and giving Atlantis a thumbs up when he explains that Crystal and possibly a few of the other members of their party will be joining them, dives into the pool and starts swimming laps, oblivious to the occasional stares she and Mahela get from the Hapan natives in and around the pool.
Mahela, a little self conscious due to the curious looks she and her friend are getting, sits in a lounge chair beside Atlantis and takes her datapad from her bag to keep up with her reading for a test in Physiological Psychology that she knows will be coming up soon. Before she starts reading, Mahela smiles as she asks Atlantis, "Are you starting your Hapan lessons already? Pointing towards the shopping bag beside him, Mahela suggests, You should use your universal translator while you are learning. It will enable you to communicate verbally in Hapan, and it is usually easier to learn a new language by using it than by just reading about it. It will also help you with things like correct pronunciation and grammar." Not wanting to disturb Atlantis any further, Mahela leaves it at that and begins studying for her test.

Atlantis had been listening to the Hapan lessons, which was spoken through his earbuds, and it had basic subtitles beneath. One of the best ways for him to learn, in the dialect he was learning and the subtitles beneath before each words were repeated individually and the meaning was given. Perhaps his pronunciation at first would suck, but at least he'd understand. Apparently Hapan was also one difficult dialect to learn but he figured that if his brother managed to do so, it would be a task that he would be able to achieve. Though he didn't need to actually speak it, all he wanted was to understand it...
Pausing the lessons when he noticed that both Saoirse and Mahela had arrived at the pool and also noticing that there were a few people now, Atlantis just briefly looked around and noticed indeed that the Hapans present here weren't used to seeing other species, but he also supposed that there was nothing much they could do about it, at least hopefully, since after all this was a fancy hotel and their party wasn't lost at all.
Grinning when his apprentice dived into the pool, he was surprised to see Mahela not joining her at all, it made him look at the Togruta with a somewhat dubious expression though he knew that maybe she was uncomfortable with the stares they were garnering right now. Smiling when she decided to lounge beside him and listening to her advice, Atlantis nodded confirming that he was indeed starting with his Hapan lessons. "Actually conversational audio clips, with subtitles beneath." He explained removing one of his earbuds and showing his datapad with a grin. "I learn better this way also, listening to the words spoken, and having the translations beneath. I have a strong eidetic and photographic memory." For the time being it was just everyday thing, just greetings, and being polite, he was certain he could recall it hopefully.
Plus he was also one to assimilate things once he was submerged into it, which clearly being in Hapes was going to be the case and he had to admit it interested him too knowing different cultures even if he didn't agree with things entirely he was ready to see things, and even listen to other things to what he usually believed in.
"Seems like you are learning for something as well." He gestured to her own datapad with a faint smile before tilting his head slightly on the side with a faint frown. "Not comfortable in joining Saoirse?" Atlantis waved his hand briefly to let her know that she did not need to answer him at all for he understood all the same. "Sorry, I should have informed you ahead that the pool would be filled with supermodels." Which was true, all of the Hapans here seemed to be alluring too in any case, and in a big way it did made him chuckle deep down because he had often been described as Model Face or whatever other descriptions some people tossed in his direction.

Lindsay had taken to toying with her necklace again, looking contemplatively out the window once more when Brion spoke about what bullshit it was that Nash and Lana were only being allowed one witness apiece. Glancing over to him, Lindsay gave a half hearted smile.
"Yes, it is bullshit, but as you said, it's better than nothing. And Lily, our sweet little Honeybee, will almost always be the first one to say something when she smells bullshit like that. As for meeting the advocates..." Lindsay paused briefly, clasping the trinket at the end of the necklace against her chest. "...yes, I sincerely hope we get to meet them because I have a few questions for them that I'd like some clear, precise answers for."
"As would we." Stefanie chimed in, waving a hand to indicate everyone in the room as she stood up and walked over to Brion to accept one of the bottles from him with a nod of thanks. After taking a sip, she arched an eyebrow and continued. "As for Andros and the Chume'doro....."
It was then that there was a soft knock at the door followed by Lily opening the door and entering the room then closing the door behind her. Focusing on Lindsay, she then informed all of them that the Chume'doro Andros had been speaking to was, in fact, the one who had delivered the scroll to Lana on Umgul. He had also requested an audience with Erenada, herself, but apparently that couldn't happen until after the tribunal's hearing of the case since she would be present during that also. So to prevent any bias, she wouldn't have contact with Nash, Lana, or anyone from Honoghr, or Umgul, until after the proceedings. With a wave of her hand, as if to dismiss the whole thing, Lily had then asked Lindsay how she was holding up.
Smiling affectionately at her childhood friend, Lindsay let the chain fall from her fingertips before crossing her arms across her chest. "I'm holding up surprisingly well, Honeybee. I'll be even better when Nash walks through that door and I know that he's okay despite everything that's happened so far....."
Almost, as if on cue, Nash entered the room walking straight over to Lindsay only to stop once he was in front of her. Placing a hand on her cheek, he then gave her a loving kiss, which she returned with just as much emotion, before breaking the kiss and resting his forehead against hers. Speaking in Hapan, he had thanked her for talking to him while he was with his advocate. Nodding silently at first, Lindsay wrapped an arm around his neck lightly tracing his jawline with the other hand before answering in their native language.
"You are always welcome, Sidoor. I knew when I felt your distress that I had to do something, so I did the only thing I could....something that wouldn't get us all arrested." She gave a slight laugh in an effort to inject at least some humor into the situation before growing serious again. "I love you too, with all my heart and soul, my Sidoor." She replied softly in Basic, this time, before they were interrupted by Karamel rubbing against Nash's leg in a bid for a share of some of the attention. Stifling a laugh, Lindsay leaned down to give the cat a few good scratches behind her ears.
Once again, another knock sounded on the door then Crystal entered the room, joining everyone else while explaining that she gave Lana and Elika some privacy. With a thoughtful look on her face, she then looked to Lindsay and Nash asking if they might like some privacy before bringing everyone up to speed on the outcome of the meetings with the advocates.
"Yes, I think we would like to go to our room and have a little time to be alone to just be with each other, and talk, before we dive into what happened with the advocates. We could all meet back here in a couple of hours, after lunch, and go over strategies and whatnot." Lindsay answered, taking everyone in the room into her gaze as they nodded in agreement with her request.

"That must come in handy, Mahela tells Atlantis with a smile after he explains his preferred learning style and shares that he has both a photographic and eidetic memory. Lifting her datapad when Atlantis correctly guesses that she is studying something as well, Mahela says, Physiological psychology. Probably not as fun as learning Hapan, but I have a test coming up soon and don't want to get too far behind in my reading. Smiling when Atlantis asks if she is not comfortable joining Saoirse, Mahela says, I might join her later," pausing briefly as she considers sharing that a part of her hesitance is due to the fact that she has not yet become completely at ease with wearing more revealing attire like swimwear in public before deciding that now is probably not the best time to disclose that she is transgender since Atlantis is bound to have enough on his mind with what has brought them to Hapes. As living as a female makes her feel like she is living as her authentic self, Mahela does not feel like she always has to reveal her gender history to others to be happy or to feel whole, and while she feels comfortable enough with Atlantis to share it with him without any worry that he might think of her differently, she decides to hold off on doing so for the time being.
"I think, Mahela says with a laugh after Atlantis says that he should have warned them that the pool would be filled with supermodels, we will all have to get used to being surrounded by supermodels wherever we go here on Hapes," as Hapans are widely considered to be among the more attractive species in the universe.
Swimming up to the edge of the pool in front of Mahela and Atlantis in time to catch the last bit of their conversation, Saoirse crosses her arms on the edge of the pool and grins as she jokes, "The trip here gave me plenty of time to get used to being surrounded by people that could be supermodels, since everyone from the Mist Order and Government, along with everyone from Honoghr could easily pass as models or holovid stars. And you both fit right in here with all the pretty people by the way, she adds with a wink before pouting, Are you both really going to just sit around studying instead of joining me in the pool?"
Smiling with a shake of her head, Mahela tells her friend, "I might come in after I read a chapter or two, so you can stop your pouting now. Laughing after Saoirse gives her a skeptical look before kicking away from the pool wall and diving under the water to resume swimming laps, Mahela jokingly asks Atlantis, You said Crystal and the others might come down to the pool, right? I have a feeling I won't get much studying done if they don't come soon and give her someone else to pester into joining her in the pool," since Atlantis doesn't appear to have come along to the pool to swim leaving her as the only one currently available properly attired to keep Saoirse company in the pool.

"Good. Smiling at Sweet Cheeks' answer, I incline my head and nod pointedly at her necklace with a knowing expression. I am sure that he'll always come running back to you, no matter what." They are both meant to be, and I also have no doubts that she like he would never ever leave one another behind. And indeed as if on cue here is the Hapan Stud and definitely walking up straight to Linds, lowering my gaze to give them some privacy, or as much I can which is probably shocking, but they don't need a teasing comment from me here and now.
Totally meant to be ... Just the way they look at one another, it's all there, and that is all there is. Since he is here, that means that the Hapan Bombshell is with Gorgeous, and probably Baby Girl and Boss Man gave them some privacy, which wouldn't surprise me at all, especially when moments later Crystal walks into the room also.
"Gorgeous must be relieved too, for a moment I thought she was going to bite her nails til she bled. Her anxiety was obvious, and I also know that she was highly stressed due to being forced to separate from the siblings too. Sighing softly and shaking my head with obvious annoyance, everything that has happened previously actually hasn't opened an appetite yet, at least not for my case. Not hungry yet, Baby Girl, also where is Lover Boy and the two besties?" I ask her dubiously. Maybe we can join them first, and then maybe I'll consider eating later.
The siblings can definitely update us later, and just give the couples some privacy, inclining my head at Sweet Cheeks' request with a warm smile. "Da. We'll see you later, regroup, and whatever. Feeling a bit restless, I just walk over the exit of the room, and thankfully Crystal took my shoulder bag with her, which I get on the way and look at everyone else after Crystal tells me that her man is at the pool. Great, this is me wanting to get out of these clothes and be more comfortable, so why not take a dip down the pool."
Choosing one of rooms here that seems to still be unoccupied, I just take a moment to sit down on the bed and send a message to Ryan, since I haven't done that just yet, and just to let him know that all of us have arrived in Hapes, and that he could comm me any time he wanted. Grabbing my two piece swimsuit and the sarong dress plus a towel, I finally change out of my dress wait for whomever will be joining us to the pool before making my way there.
Why am I not surprised that Lover Boy didn't change yet. "I hope you have grabbed his swimming shorts, Baby Girl, because that is ridiculous. Laughing softly and shaking my head before walking to where Lover Boy and Mahela have decided to camp, I just drop my towel there to an empty lounge chair before telling them both teasingly and jokingly. You two with datapads, you better have a good reason for that. Sitting down and looking around the pool seeing that there are several Hapans here and they seem to be looking at Saoirse who is doing her laps, but also Mahela here. Have they all been staring this whole time?" Ugh, that must not be fun at all.

Just seeing Nash and Lindsay together, like she had seen Lana and Elika together previously, this was the only needed testimony that they definitely would not separate no matter what. Having known Lindsay for most of her life now, Crystal knew that they were meant to be, and just the way they looked at one another, and even comforted one another it was just love.
Smiling when Lindsay concurred that she'd want to have some time alone with her man, Crystal figured that was what they needed considering the warning she had receive earlier from Horsea, Crystal just knew that for now they just needed to be alone, and talk. "You got it, hon'." Inclining her head knowingly before hearing her boyfriend's transmission through the Force, Crystal chuckled faintly before shaking her head with an amused expression. "We'll definitely see you both later, for now it appears that someone might want to ask some questions to me."
Shrugging slightly and taking a deep breath, Crystal nibbled her lower lip and figured at least that would be a good way to start in announcing she was attuned to the Force once she was back on Umgul. "The pool, Lily." Crystal replied before glancing at the Strange sisters with an arched eyebrow, though she also looked at Brion with an amused grin. "Stef, if you want to come with, feel free, since I am pretty sure that those two," Gesturing to both Andie and Brion. "Have things to discuss."
Stifling a laughter and inclining her head to everyone, whatever Maze or even Nikky wanted to do, they were also free to join, and finally she stepped out of the room and went to the one she had decided to stay in with Atlantis and just momentarily closed her eyes before addressing him privately. Give me a few minutes, and I'll be there.
Changing into a bikini and grabbing the robe in the room, Crystal also rummaged through Atlantis' go to bag, and found swimming shorts, putting that into her bag with some towels, she finally walked out of the room joining Lily to head towards the pool. Crystal figured that whomever wanted to come, they'd just come in any case, and they could probably have that lunch or whatever else later before getting updated by one of the siblings.
"I did, and I agree with you." Replying to Lily with an amused grin, Crystal walked towards where Atlantis was lounging and retrieved his shorts from her bag and just dropped it on top of him. "No excuses, amore." Grinning, she waved at Mahela and even Saoirse who was already in the pool and just when she looked around, she did notice that most of the Hapans were looking in their direction, well more precisely at the non-humans. Removing her bathrobe and placing that on top of her bag, Crystal noticed that they seemed to be curious indeed, other than that, nothing seemed troubling, at least. Sitting down by Atlantis and looking at the Togruta with a friendly grin, "Hate to say it, and agree with Lily here, I hope you have a good reason for the datapad." Glancing at what Atlantis was reading, it seemed like he was trying to learn Hapan, "Do that later, and please do change and join us." Pecking his cheek, Crystal chuckled before looking into his eyes with a faint smile before informing him. "They are both fine, just want to be with their other half, and we'll regroup later."

Simply hearing his Childao talk to him, verbally, whether in Hapan or Basic, Nash always felt appeased, although laughing faintly at her humor, he ended up shaking his head and breathed softly. "You'd never let that happen, and you also know that there is no way, with everyone around, would also let that happen." Said Nash in Hapan with a knowing smile as he pecked her forehead again, "But I do see your point, I promise to try and stop acting recklessly from now on." He would definitely try and that was all there was, plus there was no way he wanted to be seprated from her for long periods of time. He even looked at the said trinket on her necklace and just smiled lovingly.
Sentiments she had spoken that he shared. Always.
Glancing behind him and looking at everyone finally with a grateful smile, Nash at least decided to update everyone on something that at least would put everyone at ease, especially before everyone departed to do what they wanted after Lindsay mentioned that time alone together would be good, which he concurred with, of course. "The advocates will be coming for dinner or drinks in civilian, and anyone can come if they want, of course." Smiling briefly before inclining his head, Nash zeroed in his gaze onto Mel who was meowing at him. "I did say anyone, and to me you fall into that category." Scratching her soft fur with a chuckle, Nash finally wrapped an arm around Lindsay and dubiously glanced at her.
"I take it this is not our room, then?" Asked Nash dubiously as he actually wondered if this was someone's room already, or that everyone had already chosen theirs, not that it mattered much to him, as he just wanted some alone time with the woman he loved heart and soul, but also get out of his armor, uniform, and just be comfortable in his own skin again. After settling on the room whether it was this one or another one, Nash along with Lindsay, and Mel finally got the privacy he needed and wanted for the time being.
Staring out at one of the windows after shutting the door behind them, he softly sighed, this place had not changed much, not from his memories from a while ago. They were at Ta'a Chume'Dan and everything took place here. Businesses, governmental affairs, and everything else. Momentarily lost in his thoughts, Nash often wondered how he would feel seeing this place again, it wasn't this place that was truly unsettled him, it was more his personal feelings back then. How much he wanted to escape, and how much it was often times demoralizing to him, his situation, even his sister, and his parents. Sure they were in what he considered a hell hole, no chances in finding what he was looking for truly. Now he had, and it had to be on a different Rim altogether, though the perhaps funniest situation then and there, Lindsay was also part Hapan.
"You know, I had often wondered how my life would have turned out here," He began to say with an amused expression. "I never thought that I would fall in love with someone who also has Hapan lineage not after . . ." Gesturing to the sprawling city that was maintained obviously and there weren't a lot of inhabitants here of course. "But here we are, you and I, back to our homeworld that probably you and I preferred to have left in the past." Sitting down on the bed, and taking her hands in his, Nash looked up at her with a faint frown, and shook his head. "I am sorry for that, Childao." Nash knew she had family here still, but further than that, they didn't talk much about those sort of things, which was fine by him.
Deciding to remove his uniform top and just putting it aside at least on the nearby table, his own necklace was around his neck and he just looked up at her peacefully before retrieving a shirt of his from the bag that he had transported with him here.

Domes of Megos Hotel — Pool
Nodding while smiling to what Mahela told him, it always worked for him indeed, and maybe her suggestion would also help but he could be a creature of habit when it came to himself in any case. Currently he was interested in the subject she was studying for, although it definitely got him to furrow his eyebrows for a bit before chuckling and shaking his head. "Cannot tell you what's funner out of the two, but I am interested. I obviously am unfamiliar, though from the words there, it's about behaviors?" He asked with uncertainty, before lifting his hands and saying, "Sorry, you are studying for a test, do not want to interrupt you at all."
Those subjects were above of his pay-grade so to speak, and maybe he'd have a hard time understanding, but he also loved learning new things quite honestly. Plus it was nice to hear about something different to what he was used to altogether.
Inclining his head when she then mentioned she'd go join Saoirse in a bit, Atlantis never thought of himself as supermodel or whatever, he was humble he supposed, and maybe indeed his looks helped him, but looks were nothing if the personality did not follow in any case. So whether the person was alluring or not, good for them, plus beauty was in the eyes of the beholder. Laughing at what Saoirse had just said, Atlantis shook his head, he knew it was a compliment, but it always made him feel like he never knew what to say. "Would you believe me if I told you that everyone despise that?" He asked with a grin before nodding in her direction too. "Ditto. Though in the end, good looking or not, what's the point if we had a shitty personality, right?" That was all that mattered in the end, and perhaps this was going to be a philosophical discussion.
Yes everyone looked at the appearance first and foremost especially when they did not know the person, but after wards, some would say it depended on the vibe. At least that was what he would be told by either Lily or Crystal, and even to a certain degree Elika. Appearance and the first words spoken was going to give them a certain idea of the person.
Speaking of Crystal, he smiled when she addressed him before glancing at Mahela with a knowing smile. "She is on her way, don't worry." He reassured her, and lo and behold, not only it was Lily but also Crystal, it made him look at the childhood friends with a faint smirk before Crystal dropped his swimming shorts on top of him. "Alright, but I still prefer your pool back home." For obvious reasons, only people they invited could go there and it wasn't this setting at all where Hapans were staring because they were curious. "Learning Hapan, locals here do not speak Basic, we had to point at what we wanted at the café." Atlantis explained before glancing at Mahela with a smirk. "Studying for a test. But..." Lifting his datapad and dimming it before removing his other earbud, Atlantis stored those in his jacket before grabbing the swimming shorts and looking around finding where people could change, plus Crystal asked him to, so why not.
He tilted his head on the side and smiled when she informed him about the siblings. "That's good, Lindsay just like Elika must be relieved." Standing up from his lounge chair. "Be right back, I'll go get changed." Pointing at the locker, changing area there, Atlantis walked towards it for some privacy. He knew that his stab wound that had been there due to Andros stabbing him a long time ago would be visible plus some other scars over his torso and abs, he actually no longer cared much about those. Changing into his swimming shorts, Atlantis grabbed all of his effects, his signature was no longer hidden by his lightsaber crystal since he placed those in his duster's pockets.
Returning to his lounge chair and placing his things there, before just walking towards the pool and dived into it, and didn't come back up immediately and just let the water just overtake him for a bit before swimming back up once more. He finally looked at Crystal and even Lily dubiously. "Anyone else joining us, by the way?"

Domes of Megos Hotel — Pool
Mahela nods when Atlantis guesses that physiological psychology has to do with the study of behavior, clarifying, "More precisely, it is the study of the neural mechanisms of perception and behavior, almost adding more before deciding not to risk boring him even though he has expressed an interest in it. Smiling when he apologizes for interrupting her, Mahela jokes, I think I interrupted you first, so there is no need to apologize, then adds in an amused tone, Besides, I am used to studying with Saoirse around, so am used to constant interruptions and questions."
Saoirse, not yet having returned to swimming laps, giggles when Atlantis curses, not able to recall him doing so before, and nods as she agrees, "Personality is definitely more important than looks, yep, then winks as she tells him and Mahela, Good thing ya both are set in both departments, huh?"
Mahela looks up from her datapad and smiles as she waves to Lily and Crystal, shrugging her shoulders almost apologetically as she confirms what Atlantis answers for her, "Studying for a test, when Lily and then Crystal say she and Atlantis better have good reasons for being engrossed in their devices rather than enjoying the pool, and then inclines her head towards Atlantis and jokes, I am not sure what his excuse is since the personal universal translators we bought will enable him to understand and speak Hapan without the need to study the language. Shaking her head when Lily asks if she and Saoirse have been getting stares the entire time they have been at the pool, Mahela says, More openly at first, but less so as the novelty of seeing non-humans wears off I think, pursing her lips in thought as she says, It's only natural I suppose, since I guess we are the first non-humans most Hapans will have seen. I don't think any of them mean to be rude."
Swimming back to the edge of the pool beside Atlantis after he surfaces, Saoirse grins as she waves to Lily and Crystal, asking them, "Are you guys coming in too? Poking her tongue out at Mahela, she says, Don't wait for her, she's set on studying when she should be having fun."
"Just give me time to finish this chapter, Mahela says as she rolls her eyes playfully, and then narrows her eyes and asks her friend teasingly, Don't you have a test in Network Security Testing that you need to be studying for by the way?"
Rolling her eyes back at the Togruta, Saoirse sighs, "Yes, Mother, and I will study for it later."
Nodding and smiling mischievously, Mahela says, "Good, and don't forget to add reading or listening to lessons on lightsaber construction and the Gathering to your to do list while you're at it."
Poking her tongue out at her friend, Saoirse asks teasingly, "You are the death of all joy, you know that, right? Looking at Crystal and Lily, Saoirse grins and says, Back me up here, all work and no play is never a good thing, right?"
