So... uhh... guys. The whole point of my questioning about if Galdaart could sneak past a blockade, was to deposit a small force planet side to start sabotaging their defences. If you're going to use an Acclamator with a fleet to cover it, we'll just land our troops with troop transports...
Was thinking it would be a more covert strike force.

And what do you think a covert force could / should accomplish? And do you have the fleet to truly "land your force with troop transports?" Wouldn't that require a huge fleet battle?

Well I think seeing as the Undercity would be more aligned with the Alliance, you guys would insert yourselves onto Taris and then rally the people to aid you in your struggle. Which allow for greater range of sabotage cause, unlike a full 16,000 troops which is hard to hide and a large target, it will be harder for the FO if there was a smaller force and a bunch of Tarisian natives helping out.

So because the idea evolved in a creative fashion, into something bigger and bolder than originally brainstormed, you are going to cast it aside? The actual fuck!?! I ain't trying to piss anyone off here, but to me, it sounds like you suddenly don't like the idea that we collaborated. I understand where you are coming from with your idea, and I figured I'd take it a step further. I fail to see the problem here. You wanted an engaging RP between the two factions, and I intend to deliver that. What's the point of having these little RP battles back and forth if what you have in mind is so restricting? Unorthodox in fighting a war makes you unpredictable. And if the most recent galaxy map is any indication, I think the Alliance could use a little unpredictability. I do apologize if this sounds rude or what have you, but to me this seems like you are trying to sap the creativity out of this. You want a good story with a chance of winning? Let me do my thing. Hell, I'll even tone it down a bit, just to make things smoother. I mean, I'm all for a good story and creating RP, but when an idea like this comes out and then suddenly the it "wasn't what we had in mind" mentality comes out, it honestly makes a person not want to engage with you. Relax and have a little faith that it'll all work out and that more importantly, it'll be fun. Marshall, I respect the fact that you were thinking a covert strike force, I do. But let's go bold for once. Dantooine was a giant shitstorm. And since then, the Alliance hasn't won a single fight against the FO. So c'mon, relax a little and let this play out how it will play out. And again, I do apologize if this sounds like me singling anyone out or trying to pick a fight. Cuz that is not the intent here.
