Kel'Al, just so you know, I tried my best to help out with defenses. I think, in the future, I might be willing to RP as some of the Naboo defense forces, so that way I don't feel like I'm PG'ing if something like this happens and you need someone to roll out the N-1s and RPFs. Lemme know if you'd like to 'hire' me to do so.

That would be awesome. You're hired, haha.
My next task is to dig up what stuff we already possess, so I am not PG'ing it either, and we know what we can use. If it's not sufficient, we'll upgrade after this is over.
While I'm annoyed with how this has gone so far, I don't think it's necessarily done any serious harm yet, so I'm going to try to make it work. I do need to read the ground-side posts in more detail, so my opinion may change tomorrow, haha.

Zalor Anneri The planetary defenses are actually listed in my planetary guide here and here. I need to swap out some of the old noncanon stuff for canon equivalents from the armored regiments, but you are free to start using the ground troops if you want. I have a plan for the orbital stuff which I will hopefully get to execute tomorrow. Also, I guess we'll convert those Golan IVs to the canon (and less powerful) Golan IIIs for the time being.

Hey Kel'Al
I am under a similar opinion you were since I was hoping to sit this one out too and only involve myself is certain members of the party came under direct threat. When he started blowing the city to hell and claiming to have destroyed half the royal palace with an orbital bombardment (as well as most of the city too) I felt the need to act. Any liberties that I took with activating the cities defensive shield were taken directly to counter the obvious lack of respect he was showing towards the rules of the planet. I have 0 problems giving over the defenses of the planet to you, I just didn't feel right letting him go wild on your planet unchecked. At the moment I've drawn the battle lines quite clearly in my last post if you want to pick up from there. I'll even allow the arrest of my character when your forces return to the security building he has hacked into for you to take control again if you believe it is warranted.

Nice work, Altair Sirraf. I have respond to your post in Theed. We still need to do something about the Dioxis gas attack. Zalor Anneri, do you want to take some of the planetary ground troops and start handling that?

As to the Dioxis - shade is attempting to find a frequency to keep the gas from the area of the city he has the shield set to protect which at the moment is not the entire city because the imperial forces still occupy some of it. The shield is focused around the area that the GA and Royal forces have taken back and established the perimeter like i mentioned in my post before Kel'Al took over. It would make sense the shield would expand to protect the soldiers that were pushing the FO forces back.

Before I post as Naboo Ground Forces, I need to know, Kel, if either the RPF, the Naboo or Gungan armies have any biochemical armor (HAZMAT-style suits and what not) or similar Gungan-style tech. I'm only going by what I know from the movies and games portraying Naboo, most of which imply that Naboo really doesn't have a lot going for them in terms of tech, especially against biochemical.

Rebreathers would work - Dioxis is only harmful if inhaled.
Sorry - just enjoying the story! Carry on.
To expand... Dioxis is the gas used on Obi-wan and Qui-gon by the TF above Naboo in the first movie. All they did was hold their breath (force gift of breath control) really they created a protective barrier around their lungs to keep the toxins from being inhaled - but anyways.

So I spoke with Kel’Al, and he said it’s fine for me to send the Umbaran Militia in. First Order, watch out!

It was originally intended for the GA. However, rebreathers is a wonderful point, especially when the choice is supplying them to the army or to the civilians...

I am a part of the GA. It’s just not formalized yet. Remember I am part of the Serenno Combine.
And Nebula Class Star Destroyers were designed to take out ISD’s. They have weapons designed to penetrate it.

At this point, I think you guys need to rename this from Raid on Naboo to Battle on Naboo.

Well, at any rate, it's pretty much over.
Dioxis canisters are being neutralized now, Kel. My first time posting as a defense force that's not necessarily my own. Read and approve or edit as necessary.
Now, we take the fight back to them.

Rebreathers is a good call because yeah, Naboo don't have a lot of tech.
After this is over, we should upgrade the defense forces a bit to make them more like the canon ones.

Sorry, I didn't have any more time tonight so that post in orbit is all you're getting from me tonight. If it's unclear or I missed anything important, let me know. Was in a hurry and didn't want to keep you all waiting. I'll get to the surface stuff tomorrow. That looks less time-sensitive since the fight is almost over down there.

You guys completely forgot that I had pulled my fleet back so I could observe the battle. So I posted my attack on you all.

So, just for clarification/full disclosure. Because all of this started on Naboo and not Corellia, and I haven't been around for a while, I forgot that I had switched to writing all my military NPCs and fleets and stuff under my alt Sara Ruluwoor and not as Kel'Al. I switched because people kept calling my Republic fleet a Jedi fleet when it wasn't and trying to arrest non-existent Jedi and stuff -- all while Kel'Al was half a galaxy away. Neither character is a military commander, so I'd be writing the exact same thing, and still all NPCs, just under a different profile. The fleet listed on Dmitri's profile is the one I've been using for this conflict (I only have 1 fleet for Jedi and GA business). So if I bring in the other half of my fleet from Corellia, should I also write that under Kel'Al and not Dmitri, to keep things clear and aboveboard? This changes literally nothing IC, I just didn't want any OOC confusion.
