Caldoth-Class Medium CruiserShip Class: Frigate Ship Role: Anti-piracy/Carrier Ship Length: 400 meters Agility (A): 3 Defensive (D): 3 Offensive (O): 4 Speed (S): 3 Special Gear: 2 (Hangar Space, Troop Capacity) The Caldoth-Class Medium Cruiser was a 400m long frigate meant to act as both a carrier as well as an anti-piracy gunship. With those roles in mind, it also served as a formidable front line warship. Taking inspiration from several sources, both Imperial and Sith, the Caldoth derives its namesake from Darth Caldoth, a Duros Sith Lord. Designed with the Spirian Reform in mind, it definitely fits the 'wolf pack' mentality. Equipped with three hangar bays, one on both the port and starboard side as well as one on the prow, the Caldoth was capable of carrying up to 72 starfighters. Boasting an impressively formidable armament, the Caldoth was equipped with 24 heavy turbolaser cannons - 4 each positioned both fore and aft, and 8 each both port and starboard, and 20 ion cannons - 4 positioned fore, and 8 positioned along the port and starboard sides. Rounding out the ship's capabilities was the ability to hold up to 3,000 troops for boarding parties, defense and small incursions into enemy territory.

This may just ultimately be a custom version of the liberator, but honestly, these numbers are beyond excessive. The turbolaser count alone outclasses a Resurgent. 1,440 turbolasers on a four hundred meter ship along with 200 ion cannons, 3,000 troops, and 72 starfighters doesn’t even remotely seem possible. And even if this is allowed, this very much needs an offense score beyond 5 to make it legit.
The liberator was once called into question about this regarding size and count and I feel as such it should be opened again. But the discussions just faded into nothing before a true decision was made and if so, it was never enacted. We may view Wookieepedia as the go to source but in this case, a different source may need to be viewed as I’ve seen other sources giving the Liberator around 36 turbolasers.
I may not be On the database crew, but felt the need to voice my opinion on the matter.

You mean the discussion in which you, yourself stated that no change needed to be made?
Which can be found here.
EDIT: I even went and changed the batteries down to cannons.

Yes, I at one time did say to leave it be when another brought it up. But as times change, so do opinions. Either way, even if the Liberator is left alone, the firepower it has still ranks it way beyond 5. Its falls into a similar category as the H-type Nubian yacht did with its speed being so drastic in comparison to others of its class that it was to be stated even higher.
Even with the batteries removed, I believe that it still may push past 5, but it definitely should fall into a 5 at the very least. With a weapon count of 440, you reach a 3 stat on a Star Destroyer.

This isn't a Star Destroyer, so there is no need for that comparison.
Now, comparing it to other frigates for comparison...that seems a little more fair, no?

Honestly, I feel it completely works as a comparison. When a ship that a bit more than 3x larger has as much firepower and is only rated at a 3, this should be rated much higher with that count, especially when these are all capital ship weapons versus the Star Destroyer having point defense weaponry. But I’ll make a comparison in the frigate class. My Nergal-class Assault Frigate that was just approved has only 200 total weapon count and is rated at a 5, which is 240 less than this. That’s not breaking down turbolaser versus turbolaser counts either, which I have only 80 vs 240.

Actually, upon review of the Liberator, the wiki article has been edited, so in light of this edit, I have altered the Liberator submission and am altering this one as well. Which should render this debate null and void.
For reference -->Liberator-Class Cruiser
