The space above Bastion was relatively quiet for such a planet. Sure there was the usual traffic but nothing exciting was happening. That was until a hyperspace window opened up and a Venator class destroyer exited the non space of hyperspace back to our reality. Despite first appearances this ship was not in the best of shape, it was true not many ships had survived their combats clean many requiring refits. This was on a whole other level, much of the original hull was gone replaced with a patchwork of metals making the ship appear multi colored.
That however was not it's biggest factor. It's biggest problem was that it was dotted with holes that constantly belched orange flame as the precious atmosphere vented from them. Limping forward the ship hailed the planets officials as it groaned it's superstructure heavily damaged. Having jumped from the war torn system of Dubrillion it carried casualties from the planets below and with it hope for restoring the once great empires of old.
On the bridge the Admiral sat and faced a look alike. A stand in for the Emperor, of the dozen that there had been only one survived, used to stand in when a speech was needed very few actually knew about them. The man on the bridge did. What you propose Delvardus is crazy, there is no way the Imperium will do this. Dammit Admiral we have to try, this is the best shot we've had in months and one the best shots for the Empire in years. If this works and, and it will everyone here and every single Imperial citizen will benefit. With that the stand in for the leader of the Empire pressed a switch. Being a decoy had it's benefits, including having a code used only by the Emperor himself. Sending it over slipspace the message was transmitted over the stars instantly. A call for a meeting in Ravelina. The second was to talk to the ones in charge on the planet. ( Titus Tagge )This is Nicamadus Delvardus Head of State for the Imperial Remnant. I request to speak to the senior most leader currently on Bastion or in her closest systems.

Not far behind the Venator, appears a small fleet of nine frigates of varied classes. Three Ardent's formed a horizontal wedge in the center of the formation, two Nebulon-B's form up above and below the Ardents, making a vertical wedge with the lead ardent. The four remaining ships, all Munifex's, take the outer most points on the two wedges, the whole formation looking like a '+' from the planet. The fleet bears imperial markings and transponder codes, and it deploys imperial fighters, as the ships wait for further instruction from their commanding officer, Admiral Pellaeon. Pellaeon himself stood quietly on the bridge of the point Ardent, surveying the world before him, and the stricken Venator hanging limply in its orbit.

One Victory II Star Destroyer drops out of hyperspace a fair distance away from the other ships in orbit, IFF codes would read as the "Darkness", the ship had moderate hull damage from various weapon types and one of its engines were crippled. Looking out over the planet was General Darkstar who was sent to the system to investigate an Imperial signal that the Fel 9th Fleet picked up. Darkstar nodded to the helmsman who activated the comms, he seriously hoped that this signal was legitimate
=Darkstar= This is General Darkstar representing the Fel 9th Fleet, any Imperial forces please respond

High above orbit a woman of petit fram stood up on the bridge her blonde hair tied back in a pony tail she faced the captian and Delvaradus. Sirs another ping on the sensors, IFF pulls her up as Darkness. She is part of the 9th fleet and she is leaking engine coolant, weapons and hull are damaged severly. Cutting herself off she was about to make a comment on the rest of the fleet and how it may resemble this. She however was smart and kept her mouth shut, having a job on the bridge of a ship wasn't something you just threw away.
General this is Nicamdus Delvaradus leader of the Imperial Remnant. Send over your identification codes son just to be doubly sure you are who you say you are. The real leader had known all the numbers and try as he might he was yet to have them all down. This was a bluff but it would go a long way.

=Darkstar= Copy that, transmitting now....
He walked back over to the command chair and input his identification number, thinking it odd that he would need to do so. His only conclusion was that the Remnant must have gotten worse since Moff Tien's absence from the known galaxy, else his IFF codes would have been enough, of course the Darkness' sorry state probably didn't help the situation. After sending the codes he transmitted a message to Moff Tien informing him of their arrival

The codes were cleared and the body doubles face visibly looked relaxed. I'm glad you could Join us General no doubt representing Moff Tien and his holdings. If you could head planet side to the coordinates we are sending you we have much to discuss and little time to do so. With that he closed the line and nodded at the captian. Walking off the bridge he reached into his pocket to pull out a datapad and checked off that sector of space. He was trying to get as many of the old brass back as possible, they were the future of this fledgling enterprise after all.

Once Moff Tien had arrived Darkstar relayed the last transmission to his ship, moments later one TIE Phantom launches from the Darkness and one LAAT/i launches from the Empire's Fist and both head down to the surface

Pawn arrived on the bridge of the Ardent, Knight's Foil. He surveyed the fleet before him on the long range scanner and nodded almost imperceptibly to Admiral Pellaeon, who was watching his reflection in the reflective view-port. He waited a beat, and then ordered the fleet to advance to bastion proper. The moved forward in unison, cruising at flank speed towards Bastion, and broadcasting their Imperial transponders. As the fleet approached orbit, and the ageing Venator, the Comm officer hailed it.
Imperial forces, this is Kinight's Foil of The Foerost Guard, requesting information on nature and reason for the summons.

Standing on the bridge Admiral Cutter sighed. They had been monitoring the space near Bastion for hours now but this ship acted as if it had been here for some time. No hyperspace anomalies. No power fluctiuations. No this was a fault in their own ship and he fought to control his anger. It was not the fault of his, nor those under his command. No this was a technical error from the ship. The damn thing which had served him, was falling apart around him.
Putting on his best face he turned on a holo screen. Knights Foil this is Unyeilding Elephant actual of the 4th home fleet. The reason for your being summond was not my doing but a man on my ship. The screen panned out so that Delvaradus stood in the screen. It was his, the leader of the empire, he wishes to speak with all the warlords of the former Imperial Remnant.

The arrival post, which was made back in February, of the Knight's foil and accompanying fleet, all of which has, up to this point, been ignored since said post. Darned technical issues, always making life difficult at the most inconvenient of times. Pellaeon noted the nature of the summons and sighed, he'd never been particularly fond of political events. Had he know the nature of this little meeting he'd have sent an envoy, but he was here, so there was no back out now. The signal officer continued the conversation.
Then inform him that Admiral Pellaeon of Foerost has arrived, and will attend him at his convenience.

As the stars peel back and reveal another Star Destroyer, a simple comms officer makes a joke about the number of ships present in the direct vicinity, self commentating on "Hell and beehives." Although just a single Nebula Class Star Destroyer surrounded by a multitude of support and smaller interceptor styled ships, among Imperial capital ships which could not be dismissed easily, the vessel maintained its course -perhaps proudly if such things could be interpreted from ship movements. Just as traffic control begins its usual warnings, along with a number of turbo lasers having their safety mechanisms unlock, the ship declares itself as the means of transport for one of the empire's delegates. The Vraska was a gray hued ship with two stripes of hunter green on its port and starboard sections, along with a strange "X" near its stern. Once completely still, the commanding officer requests permission to send representatives planetside.

Admiral Cutter, who commanded the a Venator-class Star Destroyer that brought the Head of State to Bastion as well as other members of the Imperial Remnant took note of the new visitor. Protocol was enacted as usual when unknowns appeared, but as soon as it began, the Admiral gave the stand down orders once the ID came up. It seemed the Empire had finally arrived with its delegation. A responding transmission returns to the lone Nebula-class Star Destroyer, giving the vessel permission to send its delegation down to Ravelin where the Imperial Remnant's Head of State and others awaited them.

Without further muss or fuss, having acknowledged landing clearance, a small number of dropships are dispatched from the Vraska's hanger bay. Moving swiftly, each craft meanders down towards the surface -and in one of the craft there was a certain bespectacled personality singing about oceans blue.

Word of the negotiations being finished had reached the communication relays of the ships circling Bastion. They had their orders from the Major General and the Empire now. The orders were relayed throughout the various fleets. Nicademus, gazing out of a viewport upon his shuttle watched at the fleets began to form up and taken in officials that had attended the meeting. Others had their hyperdrives warmed up and began departing for the Deep Core. His gaze turned to Bastion, an idol and prize of the Imperial cause. It had been an honor to just stand upon its ground. And with that, Bastion vanished as his shuttle launched into hyperspace.

Another Imperial shuttle follows in similar vein to the first, but returns instead to the hanger bays of the Vraska. Soon after, this lumbering vessel about faces and shoots into the hyperspace.

Three TIE Defenders entered from a hyperspace lane, and at once engaged their twin Ion engines. Their Ion cannons and tractor beams had been refitted with sensors instead, and they seemed to speed towards the closest Hyperspace lane, while gathering immense amounts of data. They lacked IFF signals. They were also equipped with small self destruction devices.

In the eyes of Seleevan Khar, there was no defeat.
He knew these missions could be suecide missions. The flight graduates had barely 100 hours of real flight time behind them, but it was a good chance for them to get some actual combat experience, and a bump in the ladder of command. None the matter, one fell in the inicial barrage, for lack of space to evade. The overkill lasted only for a short while, since the remaining fighters spread out and made U turns that looked like a 5 year old was drawing them.
The two last ships came to a very logical decision. Get the friggin frack outt'a here. They had what they needed, an inicial reaction from the defenders, reaction time, fast reaction teams and means of reaction. Not to mention the exact position of defences.
They started on an evasive flight away from the defenders, dodging beams, recording defences and using the superior speed of a small fighter against the slowness of an Intredictor ship to fly out of the intredictor field. One shuttle was unharmed, an other got hit by an ion shot, maybe because of the lack of experience in situations like this, or just bad luck.
That ship drifted dormant in space, the pilot trying to gather the strenght to push the button to the small explosive device under his seat. None the matter. When electrical currents stopped, the chemicals that starts the explosions already started to mix with the explosive.

The bulk of the Fel 9th Fleet under the command of Moff John Tien was maintaining their position over Bastion, with Admiral Miranda Tien in command while John was away. Miranda was worried about the lack of orders from High Command as they had promised an expansion campaign into the Unknown Regions, equally worrying was the complete isolation of Thule from Imperial presence and suspected betrayal of Governor Afanse, or worse his defection to the Republic

In the time that Moff John Tien was away, Miranda had sent the bulk of the 9th Fleet's ground force planet-side for combat drills in case the Empire called on them. The 9th Fleet itself was holding position in orbit around Bastion out of the way of incoming and outgoing civilian craft. Despite the communications from High Command resuming, Miranda was worried about John being away for so long, however she had faith that he would return with a new mission. Her off hours were spent looking after her two twin girls, Sara and Jannet, who were being trained in the use of the force and the lightsaber by General Andrew Darkstar and herself.
