With the High Admiral incapacitated at this time, Fleet Admiral Arcavius of the Praetorian responded immediately to Lord Xakire.Belay those orders, Lord Xakire! Recall your interception team! Our mission here is to secure Bastion and not to engage in any hostile activity unless necessary. As long as that ship remains arbitrary and neutral, we shall not interfere with its business to this world. The Empire was already bloodied before by Mandalorians and the Grand General does not wish for that mistake again. For now, order your ships to Yellow Alert and have shields at 50% readiness. Do not arm nor power up any weapons! The Fleet Admiral returns his attention afterwards to the orbiting Keldabe-class Battleship. He notified his scanning officers to keep an eye on the vessel for now and made a general order to go to Yellow Alert and ensure shields were at 50% readiness. The visiting Mandalorian ship did not attempt to block them nor seek to engage. So for now, the Fleet Admiral would not mind their presence. The Fleet Admiral nodded to his communications officer who sent a transmission to the orbiting Mandalorian vessel.Imperial-class Star Destroyer, Praetorian, to Mandalorian vessel.
Your presence shall be ignored for the duration of your visit to Bastion. No Imperial vessel shall engage nor seek hostility against you. Our present intentions do not involve you nor do our objectives seek any action against your vessel.
Please, continue with your neutral actions and you shall not be disturbed.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation. My fellow Imperials of Bastion! I am High Admiral Savage, formerly of the Galactic Empire, now of the Imperial First Order! I come to you today, not as your conqueror, not as your oppressor, but as a leader and your savior! You all follow the doctrines of an Empire long past, yet no one unifies you and leads you, as they should. Strengthen your resolve, my brothers! Follow blindly no longer! Rejoice at the fact that you no longer are left to your own devices. The true Empire is well on its way to being just that! A true Empire! Unite under my banner! Under Grand General Delvardus' banner! Together we shall see an Empire REBORN! Together, we shall strengthen the First Order into an Empire that stands as an equal to Palpatine's! We are the future! For the EMPIRE!" The charismatic speech performed by the High Admiral was a noteworthy and sudden appearance for the population of Bastion. There were already a large number among the reigning native government that approved of this rally call and the planetary government was flooded with pro-Imperial proposals to join this Grand General's banner. The locally appointed governor, an aged Imperial Moff, was wary of this new arrival and felt that their presence would derail his own plans to one day dominate the Imperial Sector. Yet seeing many of his own supporters turn against him and demand the assimilation of Bastion into the First Order, the Moff had to accept his defeat...
Throughout the presently orbiting Imperial Fleet, communication officers began noting private and public transmissions. All of them seemed favorable and cooperatively with the demands of the High Admiral for Bastion's merge with the First Order. Among these communications were high ranking government and military officers. Even influential civilians were attempting communications to present their own personal submission. Bastion was indeed on the cusp of joining the First Order and it looked like the sight of an Imperial Fleet was enough to sway the populace to be cooperative. Yet, in some of the communications, there was a hint of resistance among the more hardline leaders of Bastion, most notable the reigning Moff. Despite bending the knee to their proposals and demands, some officials believed he was only reluctant and that he should be removed from power.
Aboard the Praetorian, Arcavius reviewed the present transmissions, wondering what needed to be done. The removal of the Moff seemed the likely choice in securing Bastion for the First Order. It seemed much of the population and planetary military accepted the First Order's arrival. Yet he needed to confer with those present. He turns to his communications officer to hail Lord Xakire...What do you make of this, Lord Xakire? It seems the population and military support us, but they are wary of the Moff and his more hardline supporters. Some of requesting a military coup to ensure Bastion's entry into the Grand General's faction.

Xakire reluctantly followed the orders given by the Fleet Admiral as he did not want to apear insubordinate to the Grand General on his first assignment for the First Order. The ships sent moved away from the Mandalorian and the fleet went to Yellow Alert. Xakire was clearly angry especially since the order came from Arcavius and not the High Admrial
Following Arcavius' first transmission the bridge of Victory went silent as the crew sensed Xakire's anger at being ordered to stand down. Several minutes later Arcavius' second transmission was received and Xakire responded almost immediately.
I see an aging Moff who cares only about his own personal glory and power and does not care about a unified Empire. I would recommend using him as an example and removing him from power. The greater good of a unified empire must come before personal power. I would gladly lead some soldiers to the surface to deal with the Moff.

Fleet Admiral Arcavius could tell that Xakire was wanting to eagerly prove his loyalty and expertise to the Grand General. He looks at Bastion for a moment from the viewport and gently scratches his chin. It was almost like Khomm all over again...
I will have the 24th Legion be prepared for combat, Lord Xakire. 8,000 Stormtroopers of the Grand General's Imperial 9th Army. We must be precise in this swift moment and be seen as ridding the planet of a spineless and petty ruler than being seeing as violent conquerors. Liberation is our key element for this operation and it will ensure Bastion's total loyalty to the First Order.

John was still questioning weather or not to accept the invitation of the Phoenix Imperium or to link up with the main fleet when it became obvious that the plan had changed, the rest of Nicademus' fleet had entered orbit as had many other Imperial ships. High Admiral Savage's speech gave a bit of hope to John and the crew of his ships that maybe they could see the great empire he spoke of become reality, through the force John felt hope rise in many people, however, in Miranda he felt a slight hint of hesitation, she was currently looking to John for a decision and he finally cued the comms to Nicademus

The ship does not visibly, or otherwise noticeably, respond to the comm messages sent to it, though it receives them all and the crew is somewhat disappointed that they won't get to test the mettle of a Core military after all. The intercepting ships, are avoided, and specific co-ordinates are plotted for the munitions weapons, with screening the battleship in mind, as a precaution against getting buzzed by any gutsy pilots. Unfortunately the Imperial pilot's discipline prevents them from becoming stardust today, a quality duly noted and appreciated by the mandolorian crew. A shuttle departed the ship's hangar and descended to the planet, returning within the hour. The battleship moved ponderously away from Bastion, again making no particular effort to skirt the Imperials beyond basic collision avoidance, before leaving the way it had come.

But his orders now known; we shall eliminate this plague of a Governor who dares to prevent the loyal populace of Bastion to join the rightful Imperial cause! I will report your true allegiances to the Grand General and let him know of your patriotic zeal for our Imperialist purpose.Without further delay, the Fleet Admiral orders the deployment of the 24th Legion for Bastion's surface. Squadrons of TIE fighter varients streaked from the hulls of the Praetorian and her Vindicator escorts. Troop transports and shuttles were loaded with the 8,000 members of the 24th Stormtrooper Legion and prepped for departure for the planet's surface. They awaited word from the Fleet Admiral of Lord Xakire's participation.

Very well Admiral, I will head for the surface with a small company of my own troops.
Following his brief communication Xakire cut the transmission with a gesture to his crew and ordered for a company of 100 men to accompany him to the surface. He departed Victory in his Fury Class Interceptor followed by several landing crafts carring his elite guard. On board his Interceptor was Sergent Carrik Harper a hardened veteran, and Lord Xakire's personal assassin the blue Twi'lek Ce'na.

Leading the troops were Sargent Tavington of the 101st, and General Warleader of the 85th. Among Nemesis Flight also was a single TIE Phantom containing General Andrew Darkstar

High Admiral Viox Savage stood on the bridge of the Void, hands clasped behind his back. His former apprentice stood beside him in silence. Only the occasional wheeze was heard. Viox took this time to speak. His lips barely moved, his voice was barely above a whisper.
"You have learned your lessons from me well, young Dracus. But you still have much to learn. It is obvious from your earlier outburst that you are eager to leave and strike out on your own. I feel that, while very foolish to do, it is your decision. So here it is. Remain here with me as my apprentice, or venture off on your own. The choice is yours. Choose wisely."
Savage straightened up and returned his attentions to the main view port, surveying the scene before him. Cain spoke, his harsh mechanical voice sounded.
"You give me the option to choose my own fate...if I am to make an informed decision, I must meditate. Clear my mind of all distractions and focus on the path ahead..."
And with that, Cain bowed respectfully, then departed. Savage stood a moment longer observing the fighters patrolling around the fleet. He then called up Rampant.
"Rampant, get me a link to the Intrepid. I haven't heard from the Grand General's operatives since the broadcast."
The A.I's avatar shimmered to life.
"Of course sire. I will do so at once."
The avatar then dissipated from the pedestal beside Savage. The High Admiral's fierce yellow eyes continued to scan the open orbit above the planet.

Feeling nostalgic Xeonon had been system hopping. He had been spending far to much time alone on his rock above Hoth staring at the various relics he had collected over the years. One of his favourite things had been a blue suit of armour very similar to the Imperial Knights; worn by warriors such as Steffo Rancis and Lord Kaiden. Indeed he even missed the planet itself. Several times he had visited it, and once had tried to cause a resurgence of Imperial ideas from the planet. Apart from that though, it was here were the Imperial Knights had once called home. It was as much a pilgrimage as it was just for fun. He may no longer be amoung their ranks but he still owed himself to them.
Dropping out of hyperspace in his yacht it struck him just how privileged he was. On a whim he had bought this yacht, it was but a drop in the bucket of his wealth. He could go anywhere. Do anything. Not bad for a run away slave. Scanning the frequencies he caught the usual old channels. Old PI stuff no doubt on battery power, newer Imperial stuff and echos of a lot of large ships that had recently been in orbit.
As he floated around in space looking down on Bastion. His small ship floated dangerously close to another ship. Or least it was within its orbit. For a second he was surprised to see one. These things were relics, something out of the old holovids you watched as a kid. He hadnt expected to ever see one in such good condition. He had to meet the person who owned it. Pinging its IFF it came back Penitent Colossus.Copy Penitent Colossus this is Xeonon Solomon of... the Skar'kla permission to come aboard?

Piloting the ship he was ever thankful for auto pilot. When you are out flying in the vastness of space it was easy to not hit things. When you are trying to land inside a bigger ship it was a lot harder. A lot more tense. What Xeonon couldnt do the ship corrected him on it. After a few minutes though he managed to put the ship down without to much issue.
Pushing the button to lower the ramp; Xeonon walked down it and saw the six droids waiting for him. Not the usual servant kinds though. Just your average killer B droids from the Clone Wars. Looking around it was like he was back in time. B1s walking around. In fact everything here was straight out of a museum. Most of this he had only seen in historical footage. Whoever would be able to get this much hardware obviously had a serious Clone Wars fetish. Or maybe he was back in time.
Sir you are to follow us. Do not deviate from the prescribed route please.
Despite the lack of tone in the droids voice, he could have sworn it was a threat. Could he take them? Probably. If the whole ship was full of these droids though he would be boned. So he followed the droids until they arrived at a door and walked in, slightly worried of being shot in the back. Even in his armour a few well placed shots could end him.

He had not expected to see a Twe'lik behind the door. In his experience the members of that species hated that time. Of course if this particular ship had been relinquished by the resistance on Ryloth back in the Clone Wars that would be truly amazing. Standing there awkwardly for a second before smiling.
Its been a long time since I have had Corellian Whiskey. I wouldnt mind a finger or two. You seem to have me at a bit of a disadvantage, you have no doubt been told my name but I dont know yours.

Lifting the drink to his lips Xeonon took in the flavour of the whiskey. Or he would have had he not chocked on it. Sputtering a little bit the liquid he hadnt accidentally inhaled tasted rather bland. His first thought about the ship was way off. It was no museum piece, it was fully loaded and ready for war.
I never thought I would get the honour of meeting you sir. Stories of your deeds are still told by Imperial soldiers
Or they would if there were still true Imperial soldiers..
If I may be so bold why are you just hanging around Bastion? Last I heard all die hard Imperial types were flocking to Delvaradus and his First Order.

Well its obviously not just the wedge of the Star Destroyer. Your ship here is circular.
Sitting down in a chair Xeonon placed his glass down on the table.
I hope its just growing pains. When I told Nicademus to be the Emperor I did not think he would disband it and start a crusade across the galaxy.

Also eyeing up the star chart Xeonon was pretty impressed. The chart showed the holdings of the PI back in their hay day. It was a sizable amount of space.
I've seen that mistake few times before. Hell even Palpatines Empire was born of violence and death.
Okay so maybe that wasnt one of the best examples because that Empire collapsed after its leader was destroyed. Or rather it had a slow decline that did not stop until Pellaeon helped form the Imperial Remnant. Indeed after the fall of the Fel Empire it had been a vicious cycle of a charismatic leader rising and disappearing.
Just gonna bide your time until the First Order starts to crumble, and then show up with the Imperiums flags and sway everyone under your banner.

Might I make a suggestion then? Dont just look to the distant past, but also at the recent past. There is one man out there worth reading up. Delvaradus. When I first met the man in the Deep Core he managed to get a bunch of warlords under his command and brought peace, prosperity and progress to that sector of space. Hell I believed in him so much when Sinistra dissapeared I gave him the idea to take her place.
It was true he had taken over a dying horse and it was soon killed off. But for a time it had been prosperous.
He is in charge of the First Order now. Once things settle down who knows maybe itll last longer than the last Empire to rise.

Lord Xakire's shuttle shot up from the surface of Bastion and headed straight for his flagship Victory. He immidetly headed for the bridge where he was quickly brought up to speed on what had happened while he was away. He learned of the assasination attempt on Delvadus and that the newly proclaimbed First Order has been expanding in the Unknown Regions. He learned of a new campagin on Csillia and knowning the strength of the Chiss Xakire informed High Admrial Savage that he was leaving Bastion for Csilla. Xakire didn't wait for a reply and immedietly jumped with his fleet to hyperspace.

Location: Bastion, High Orbit. On board the Legacy of the Void.
Sith Lord and High Admiral to the First Order, Viox Savage, sat in his command chair on the bridge of the Void, reviewing the reports that Rampant had filtered coming up from the surface. As he read the particularly grievous death of the former Moff ruler of the planet below, the ghostly avatar of Rampant Savage sprang to life on the pedestal beside his chair.
"Forgive the abrupt intrusion, sire. But new orders from the top have come in. It appears as though we are required to make best speed to Csilla. Lord Xakire has already left. What are your orders?"
Savage sat up straighter and set down the datapad.
"Hail the rest of the fleet. Give them the appropriate jump coordinates to Csilla. If the First Order requires I make my presence known, then that is where we shall go. Get us underway."
The A.I nodded in agreement.
"Understood, sire. Preparing the fleet for a jump to Csilla at once. Encrypted comm package prepped and being sent as well. ETA two hours, forty two minutes, ten seconds at current velocity and corresponding jump coordinates."
With that, the Void followed by her four Victory II-Class Star Destroyer escorts moved away from the planet. Once clear of the planet's naturally forming gravity well, the ships jumped away from Bastion.

Arriving outside of the Pari, the LAAT/i she and her team will be using for their mission here on Bastion, Nicolina is not surprised to see that their pilot and co-pilot have already arrived and begun the pre-flight checks even though they will not be departing from the Venator-class Star Destroyer that has brought them outside of the estimated sensor ranges of any patrols that might be in orbit until their mission in given the green light from the higher ups, which could take anywhere from minutes to hours.
"How's your girl?" Nicolina asks the solemn looking female Nagai pilot, WO1 Noemi Calenda, currently doing her FOD walkdown.
"Five by five, Loo, the Nagai answers, nodding with her chin towards where the other members of her platoon Nicolina has selected to be a part of their mission here are are gathered near the open side doors of the LAAT/i, Just waiting on this Bethirteeness that we've been stuck with to show."
"We're all early, Nicolina points out, and then says, Let me know when you get the green light to depart," as she heads over to join the rest of her team as they wait for Beethirteeness and the green-light for the mission to begin.
Looking a bit uncomfortable as she adjusts the left gauntlet of her newly issued Shadow Trooper armor, SSG Anika Solberg greets Nicolina by telling her with a scowl, "This armor feels funny, boss."
"It's just new, Nicolina tells the usually far more cheery and often irreverent red haired human with a splash of freckles across her nose and cheeks, knowing that Anika is simply experiencing the pre-mission crankiness she always exhibits before any mission begins, You'll get used to it."
Feels fine to me, Nirav 74, a male Khommite that is the platoon's most skilled slicer, announces without looking up from checking his gear as he sits on the deckplate of their LAAT/i. Nirav, the 74th clone of the original Nirav, is one of the rare examples of a Khommite choosing another role than that of their original.
"I'd just ignore her, the female Lorrdian garbed unlike the others in the Scout variant of the Shadow Trooper armor, warns Nirav as she plays Pazaak with the last member of the team Nicolina has assembled, a male Kaleesh, before she decides you're more annoying than her new armor."
"You tell him, Kat'," the Kaleesh says with a gravelly, rumbling laugh, gathering up his cards since Nicolina's arrival probably means they will begin the pre-mission briefing soon.
