As the group gathered, Luxeria brought up the planet of Dathomir on the display. "We have been given the task of furthering the reach of the Blackguard by Lord Malvus. Our newest objective is the planet of Dathomir. Our orders and pretty straight forward: meet with the Nightsisters and gain their allegiance by any means necessary. As such, that means this could be a very simple task or a very drawn out and complicated one. It will all depend on what they want. Chances are, they'll end up wanting us the eliminate some of their light-sider sisters. If such a task happens and we need extra forces, my fleet will be called in to aid us. Any questions thus far?"

Ela examined the holodisplay for a moment. She remembered a vague mention of Dathomir in her training, something about the world being filled with Witches and Magick. Beyond that though, she really knew nothing about these Nightsisters and these supposed light-side sisters. But given they were here to try gain the allegiance of the Nightsisters, it was not much of a stretch to assume they made use of the Dark Side or Dark Magicks. She put on something of an inquisitive expression, pretending to be examining the information, but remained silent when Luxeria asked if there were any questions. She didn't really wish to be put on the spot as being the least knowledgeable person here.
Maethoriel also seemed to be examining the display and listening to the mission brief given by Luxeria Hopefully there will be enough Nightsisters left to ally with. Last I heard, a large majority of them had been slaughtered by... Grand Matriarch Ebony and her pet... Perhaps we'll get lucky... Seems straight forward enough...

Luxeria let her eye's shift around after asking her questions. Nothing came from Kree, nor Ela. Whether they had no real understanding of the planet and people or simply had no questions was unknown. Something she could easily move forward with anything else she said moving forward.
It was then that Maethoriel spoke up, not thinking many Nightsisters were left. Luxeria only gave a dull scoff before a faint scowl appeared upon her face. "I assure you, there are more existing upon the planet than many realize. Whether their ranks have been refilled or they went into hiding in order to prepare for a counter-attack is unknown, but I know well enough that we'll find them. And their power within the Dark Magic is definitely potent. I suspect that before we can discuss terms of an alliance, there will be a fight."
Luxeria's fists tightened at the thought. She wondered if they group she and Vasari had faced would remember her. If that was the case, it was highly likely they would be met with hostility. All because of that search for the Book of Law. So many things had gone wrong on that mission. But the Zabrak had gotten what she wanted and that was the only thing that had gone right.

Ela tried to remain as unnoticed as possible as she watched the exchange between Maethoriel and Luxeria. Something about questioning the number of Nightsisters on Dathomir seemed to elicit a scowl from the Human Woman. Maethoriel seemed to catch on easily enough to some lingering feelings about this place, at least Ela had to assume the Blademaster did. Luxeria's clenched fists hinted at some past with either the Nightsisters or this planet. What ever it was, it seemed this mission was unlikely to be as straight forward as it seemed. Maethoriel leaned back in the seat I'll take your word for it, I've never quite had the chance to visit before... But if it comes to a fight, I'll be more than ready... With the comment made, she grew silent, indicating for Luxeria to continue on with her briefing or explanation or more existed

Luxeria closed her eyes, memories still filling her mind from that day. The mind games they had played that opened up the truth about Vasari and her escapades. Despite it all, knowing that the Nightsisters had toyed with their minds meant nothing in learning the truth. And it was then when the bond that had been gain between the two Sith had nearly shattered did they progress with their ambush and attack them. They were certainly clever individuals, knowing just how to hunt their prey. They were lucky to have made it out alive, though they were separated.
This time, though, things would be different.
Looking back at those present, she nodded. "I was here a few years ago on an individual mission. I barely made it out alive. Between the minds games and the power of their spells, they are surely a force to be reckoned with, especially when caught off guard in their domain. Such is the advantage of a hunter. But we will definitely be ready for them as well."
Just then, Satele's voice came over the comm system.
Luxeria, the fleet has arrived.
Giving a smirk, she looked upwards. "Good. Contact the Commodore and have her dispatch a team of twenty-five Sith Knights on our position to follow us to the surface."
Understood. Message sent.
She then looked back to the rest of them. "When we hit the ground, be prepared for any kind of attack, be it mental or physical. Bring them down, but work to bring them down with just injuries if possible. At least until we can gain an audience with someone in charge."

She silently filed away the information that Luxeria had been to this planet before on some other mission. At the very least it seemed Luxeria had learned from her previous visit. It would just be a matter of time to see whether or not those that she had met last time had also learned from the previous encounter. If nothing else, it seemed a small army of Sith Knights would be joining them on their landing. Perhaps this would be a good opportunity for her to see just what these Sith had to offer. Ela gave a nod As you wish...
An easy enough task. Let us get this over with.

Luxeria nodded. "Agreed. Begin making your final preparations."
With those few words, Luxeria made her way back to the cockpit. There she began plotting the course and landing destination for them as she awaited the Sith Knights to make their arrival. It was only a few more minutes before she received confirmation that the shuttle carrying the Knights were on route. Giving them the same orders she had given the others, she pressed forward into the atmosphere.

With the ships entering orbit, the shuttles boarded their origin ships as Luxeria pushed past them and made the jump to hyperspace, returning them to Eriadu as Luxeria's fleet returned to their regular patrols.

Though the world of Dathomir had fallen into the control of the new order, the planet had been left alone for the Nightsisters to continue on with their daily lives as if nothing had happened. With the Resurgent Sith still growing in secret, there wasn’t a reason for their presence to be made known just yet.
But suddenly, in one fell swoop, banners were cast down and new ones raised upon a few different worlds the new order had claimed. That meant it was time to move into position and finish the circle that was started. Having been the one to seek the allegiance of the Nightsisters, it was Luxeria who sent some of her ships to guard the world for the time being as everything fell into place.
A quartet of Kressh-class Battle Cruisers, the Midnight Reverberation, the Twilight Resonance, the Divine Wrath, and the Radiant Fury, appeared from hyperspace and took up patrols around the world, guarding it as the promised assists began to come in. Due to the work Luxeria had made, it was the easiest to establish control compared to the others. There was no resistance, only the fulfillment of the bargain made.

The quartet of Kressh-class Battle Cruisers continued their patrol of the red-tinted world. Ships came and went as the Resurgent Sith continued to provide new resources in building up the Night sisters in order to help them eradicate the remaining Witches of Dathomir and their Light-side filth. Alongside the additional assets, the Sith began setting up an outpost as a means of watching for advancing threats aimed at the main Sith worlds and aiding as well as analyzing the Nightsisters. But for now, all remained quiet as the four ships kept their focus in watching the area where the hyperspace lane opened up.

*The Star Runner dropped out of hyperspace, the sudden jolt rousing Adonias from his restful slumber, unaware of Crystal's disturbed sleep. Sitting up straighter, he adjusted the controls and resumed manual control of his ship. He sent an announcement over the the com to alert Crystal that they were now in a steady orbit above the planet Dathomir. Unsure of where to go from there, he softly called back to her.*
"So...Dathomir...never been here before! Where exactly are we heading?"

Crystal sat up again as well though she didn't feel at all rested. "just pick a spot on the terrain. I'd prefer to avoid any settlements for now and just hike to where the force calls us. That will give us time to discuss a few subjects." Crystal closed her eyes for a minute, mind on her master, anger growing. "I practically grew up here, you haven't missed much of anything." Crystal hoped they landed quickly, she wasn't a fan of space travel.

*Adonias allowed his actions to speak louder than words. Angling the ship down, he pushed the nose of The Star Runner down into an approach vector. The closer they flew through the atmosphere, the more uneasy the young Mandalorian became. There was something dark about this place...and he hadn't even landed yet...*

Day by day, Sith transport ships came and went, suppling the Nightsisters with everything they needed to grow and eventually deal with their Light-sided cousins. New recruits were being found on a much regular basis, even some female Sith choosing to join up with them instead. It wouldn't be long before they were truly ready to make their move. And when that day finally came, the numbers would be more than enough to aid the Resurgent Sith Conclave in whatever endeavors requested of them. Just a small price for the aid given to them.
Though the planet remained mostly in control of the world below, the Sith did maintain a strong presence. Ground forces and planetary defenses covered the major outpost and village as a Golan III Space Defense NovaGun and a Conclave Star Cathedral guarded the orbit of the world by being focused towards the main entry points from hyperspace routes.
Upon the Conclave Star Cathedral, a tattooed human male Sith stood at the viewpoint of the command center, his sulfar-colored eyes taking in the view of space. He had been given charge of the planet's orbital defense. It was an honor to be given such a role within the Conclave and he intended to keep the world safe from their enemies. Currently, their defense fleet was small, only six Kressh-class Battle Cruisers and their accompanying Mk. VII Advanced Interceptors. It was temporary token fleet from Arbiter Luxeria as she had revamped her personal fleet with new ships designed by the Conclave and allowed these former ships to remain over the backwater world until a new defense fleet was designed and built.
As the man watched, his mind sensed something. It was small, but it was no doubt approaching. It was at that moment when one of the officers monitoring the area got a ping. He waited only a moment to see what became of it before alerting the Sith.
"Sir, we've detected something arriving from hyperspace close to the planet. Sensor scans say its starfighter, an ARC-170."
The Sith smirked a bit before turning his head slightly to look at the officer. "Tell me, has anyone attempted to hail us?"
"No, sir. All is quiet. Perhaps whoever it is is attempting to sneak their way to the planet. Should I contact them?"
The Sith stroked his chin for moment before a smirk began to grow. It was possible it was one of their enemies seeking to send a scout. AN attempt that would be futile in the end. It wasn't as if they were hiding and he would certainly notify the nearby Sith fleets in the off chance their enemies were ballsy enough to try and take the world. Then again, it may have been a random person passing through. It was odd that one could miss the ships and space stations by either visual or sensors. They were stupid, oblivious, or just hoped that a single starfighter wouldn't gain any attention. Whatever the reason, it didn't matter. He would all the Nightsisters to have some fun for a change. "Let them pass and ensure all ships continue their patrols without hindering our guests. Do, however, spread word to the other fleets, should this be an enemy scout. They'll learn quickly that the Sith are not to be trifled with. Also, alert the Nightsisters. Perhaps some of their recruits could get some experience tracking these newcomers and, if need be, combat experience."
The officer snapped to attention before returning to his work, ensuring each message we was instructed to send was relayed to the corresponding party. Whoever these people were, eyes would be on them the whole time.

The Sith continued to gaze into the void of space that extended out from the red world behind them, yet his focus had shifted elsewhere. Reaching out in the Force, the Sith had kept his senses upon the newcomers in case something arose that required his attention. Such measures had proven wise as hours after they allowed the starfighter to pass, he felt the surge of a Sith's power, one he didn't recognize. It was true that eh didn't all within the Resurgent Sith so it was quite possible these "guests" had bothered one of theirs or this new arrival had sensed the newcomers and sought them out. A problem he might have needed to look into. Especially if it was not one from the Resurgent Sith, but another rouge that existed upon the world. Whatever the reason, perhaps it was time to take a trip to the surface.
"Have my vessel prepped and have a team of five Sith Knights gathered. I'm heading the surface. Continue to be vigilant for any unexpected fleets while I am away." Turning from the viewport, the Sith made his way to the hangars where a team had already gathered. Boarding his X-70B Phantom-Class Prototype, the ship left the hangar and immediately engage its cloaking device, rendering the ship invisible as those aboard concealed their presence so as to not alert this Sith of his arrival unless need be.

The Star Runner made it's way into orbit with Crystal on board. She noticed other ships hanging in orbit around the planet, and wasn't sure how she had missed seeing them on the sensors when she and Adonias had made their way to Dathomir. They had both been sleeping through much of their space travel though so perhaps that was the issue. She sent a wide burst transmission, generally requesting safe passage past them so she could complete the necessary procedures to leave Dathomir and head towards whatever location was programmed into the computer's auto-navigation system.

When no response came from her transmission, Crystal shrugged. They must not mind her passing. She steered the 'Star Runner' away from Dathomir then flipped the necessary switches to send the ship into hyperspace. She didn't know where she would end up, but she knew wherever it was she would survive. With a flash of light, her ship disappeared.
MOMENTS LATER
Darth Strife:
With his passenger secured and healing, the sith expertly piloted his ship through the atmosphere surrounding Dathomir and brought his ship 'Shade' out into orbit around the planet. He was gleeful now, excited for the next step. Just one thing left to do. He sent out a transmission to the ships surrounding the planet, requesting politely that he be allowed to jump into hyperspace without conflict. His ship was fast but he had no desire to clash with anyone near Dathomir. He had ignored them for decades, now was not the day for him to change that.

Darth Strife:
After waiting to ensure there was no problematic response issued by the ships, Darth Strife sent his ship into hyperspace. He knew exactly where to take his newest protégé. The 'Shade' disappeared in a flash of light.

Dathomir was a planet that few wanted to visit. Despite this, the Conclave still dispatched a few vessels to keep an eye out for any sort of trouble such as in the form of bold pirates or would-be conquerors. The Nightsisters were staunch allies of the Sith Order and Malvus would expended what was necessary to ensure the security of the system and the planet. A Kressh-class Battlecruiser, alongside a pair of Supremacy-class Attack Ships, and a small flotilla of four Derriphan-class Battleships patrolled the space above with their hordes of fighter squadrons. The Dread Aura served as the command ship against outsiders. Although this was a visible show of enforcement, the Hierarch believed it necessary to ensure the Nightsisters their prosperity and security.

The Conservator-class Star Destroyer known as the Justicar appeared above Dathomir, with the Acclamator-Class Assault Ship identified as the Hastati appearing soon behind. The Sith forces that had once patrolled the Witch home world had fallen apart and faded from the worlds defence. As such, there was little left to protect it from invasion. Under other circumstances this would have presented a perfect opportunity for an invasion by the First Order. But Emperor Delvardus had tasked the Grand Marshal with a different task. Plans and preparations for a final assault upon the Corellian Coalition were close to fruition, meaning the First Order's focus was upon this larger goal.
In comparison, Dathomir was a much smaller target. One which, given time, could fall into the wrong hands and provide a tactical advantage to the remnants of the Coalition once it was broken. Or worse, one of the rebel cells that were in operation across the Galaxy. As it stood though, Dathomir had not come into play. This meant the First Order needed only to secure a foothold upon the world. Like Imperials of the past, they would gain the friendship of these Witches. From there, a more concrete and long term solution could be devised once the Coalition was dealt with.
To this end, Zahn had chosen General Aethyr and her Hastati Corp to join him on this... trade mission. He knew the politics and society of the Dathomiri Witches favoured females, so he would not so easily offend them. Aethyr was one of his most trusted General's, and her Hastati Corp had proven their worth time and again.
The pair of vessels hung in orbit beyond the range of the defence fighters, with Zahn and Aethyr opening a line of communication to the defensive forces. A meeting was agreed upon quickly, and the Vindicta was soon departing toward the surface with a Flight of TIE/sf Space Superiority Fighter's accompanying the shuttle
