Xabi's eyes flashed with excitement, even though she was indeed tired and bruised, she wasn't about to back down now. She ripped the towel from her shoulder and tossed it aside. Alright Ol... Oh Wise one. As she caught her own near slip up, but the cocky smirk told Endor it maybe wasn't an accident. I may have just gone 10 rounds verses three droids, but I can still run circles around you! And in a show, as if to back up what she had just said, she back flipped away from Endor, doing several flips, all the way to the middle of the ring.
Tamiyo moved aside as the pair of sparring partners took to the ring. She made it over to the door way and from a pocket in her robes withdrew a credit chit of her own. She whispered to Katja, I'll take that action. Not that I don't have faith in young Xabi, I just know how much she's already put into the ring today. And your friend seems particularly cunning. The serene Jedi master smiled to Katja before returning her focus to the ring. She silently and imperceptibly prepared herself to utilize Battle Meditation to give her friend a boost, should the fight turn against her too quickly. Tamiyo was much less interested in a 'fair' fight than showing Endor what Xabi could really do, and to maintain Xabi's confidence. Something that was lacking among Jedi during these dark times.

"I feel like that one was more my sister's fault," *he quipped, before nodding.* "But they're both right. Centering yourself in the Force and allowing it to guide you during combat will likely save your life more than several times." Before Mark had a chance to properly respond however, Jair had rushed back into the training wing, against the advice of the medical droid as well."Master Calmca- I mean, Aerandir! I- oh, Mark! I'm so sorry. I did not mean to interrupt... Aerandir... when you have the time, I need to talk to you."

A snippy firecracker for certain, this one. He hoped that fiery drive was woven right into her personality and not just the exuberance of youth, but he supposed he'd find out in a minute. One way or another. Endor slid off his signature leather flight jacket with rebel starbird shoulder patches, folded it in half, then placed it neatly on the floor just outside the ring. As he straightened back to a standing position, his broad black body-glove covered figure seemed to swell slightly, as he sucked in a deep breath of air through the flaring nostrils of his slightly crooked nose. He exhaled long and slowly, releasing any clinging negative emotion and clearing his mind as he cleared his lungs, finding his calm centre. His old joints cracked like campfire kindling as he rotated his shoulders and shadow boxed the air a few times, his movements slow and predictable. It seemed obvious the difference between them. Xabi was fleet and agile as a Circus Horrificus swinging acrobat, while Endor was big and strong like a bear. He grinned like one, wide and wild, a man who had more in common with the creatures of the forest than his common sentient humanoid. "First to three landed blows. Good ones. We'll save sabers for the final round..." He felt a bit bad about this, but, he needed to know she had it in her. In this instance that meant behaving like a wookiees furry ass. "...if you're still able to get up. Now let's go.""RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" Summoning the primal predator spirit of his Ewok ancestors, titans of history whose tales of heroic feats were still sung around the stormtrooper stew pots of Bright Tree Village, the former forest druid flew at Xabi with all the fury of a feral Gorax. The ragged roar ripping from his throat and bellowed past his rumbling lips was an assault on the auditory organs, a sensory distraction to take away attention from the fat fist he had cocked back behind his right shoulder, in the brief moment Endor had launched his assault. His hard right hand swung around in a viscous haymaker targeting Xabi's left side, thrown with enough force to make clear this was more than just a game. This was an audition.

As Master Tamiyo arrived beside her at the door and took the bet, Katja had to let out a scoffed laugh Seeming cunning and being cunning are very different things. Besides, he is more bark than bite... She winked before her focus was drawn to the ring as Endor seemed to roar like the bear that he looked like. Three landed strikes was all that was needed, something Katja remained confident Xabi could manage, even after just meeting the twi'lek woman. She turned back to Tamiyo then I didn't think you Jedi were permitted worldly possessions such as money? who is picking up the tab when I win this bet?

The boy, also, didn't mean to interrupt, and stopped himself from continuing to do so further, but by his tenseness, it was evident that if Jair had any answers about what recently transpired, he absolutely wanted to know.

Jair's expression and stance softened a bit at Mark's interjection. He addressed the boy directly.
"I'm not a Master yet." he quipped with a chuckle before cutting directly to the chase. He knew Mark probably had a lot of questions, but unfortunately, so far, Jair had very few answers. And any speculations might scare the boy. Jair didn't want to make any mention of any of the odd visions. In fact, the most recent episode caused the Jedi to question whether or not he was even seeing visions... but that was a matter he would discuss with Aerandir alone.
"I'm afraid I don't know what happened... or why I reacted so... viscerally to you telling me you recognized what I was humming... until I meditate on it more, and ask the grandmaster more questions," Jair eyed and nodded towards Aerandir knowingly, "I won't have known anything that I didn't know before."

*It didn't take the Force to realize something was off about Jair's current demeanor. Aerandir glanced between him and Mark with a mild look of amusement at their exchange, then regarded Jair as he turned to face him.* "I can speak with you shortly, soon as my granddaughter and her friend meet me here. Are you certain you should be out and about right now?"

But... something is out of place. And I need to get to the bottom of it. I'll just say... those 'visions' I was talking to you about? Well... I'm less and less sure they are visions, by the minute." Jair didn't go into further detail yet, as he didn't want to scare the boy, and the Grandmaster did appear to have some business he needed to attend to. So he would leave it at that, just for the moment. The truth was, he was beginning to strongly suspect these 'visions' were actually memories. Lost memories. Memories he clearly needed to regain. And for that matter, he very much wanted to know how he lost these memories in the first place.

*He nodded approvingly at the news Jair was cleared, but furrowed his brows a bit as the visions were brought up before. Aerandir took a moment to recall the details, something about an ethereal plain filled with Bogan, and a city and a bright red flower were somehow involved. He glanced down at Mark, flashing the boy a quick reassuring smile, then looked at Jair again.* "Understood. Meet me in the council chambers. I'll be there soon as Roma and Kasyr are out of the showers." *A thought came to him and he ran with it in a bid to lighten the immediate mood, chuckling as he shook his head.* "That girl probably loves showers the most of all the 'fancy technology' she's seen, who knows how long she'll be in there. We really oughta think about putting timers on them." *He shakes his head again.*

Jair chuckled. "I mean, if I spent a decade in the jungles, yeah, I'd probably secure my residence in the showers for a while. Buuut... the good news is, we haven't gotten any complaints from the Niango Water Treatment and Moisture Program so, we should be good? I think? I'm fairly certain I checked that in the data pad I gave you the other day..."
Did he check that though? He couldn't remember, to be honest, after his episode in the training wing. Which reminded him of the task at hand. He nodded. "it should be in there, but you might wanna double check... just in case... I'll head to the council chambers."

*Aerandir raised an eyebrow, chuckling and shaking his head.* "I'm certain we're fine in that regard. I'll see you soon." *He gave Jair a slight bow.*

Jair gave an ever so slight bow in return, but nothing at all resembling the ridiculous display that Alvis did the other day. Jair stifled a chuckle at the memory of that. He then headed out to the council chambers.

*Aerandir watched him go, then looked down at Mark.* "Is there anything you need from me, while I wait for Roma and Kasyr?" It was no doubt the Grandmaster could sense the eagerness from the boy to know what had happened, and the slight anxiety he felt about it. Though the Grandmaster might be puzzled as to why. Regardless, the boy couldn't help himself, and he just had to get what was on his mind out of his system."Well... it was weird. Master Jair was helping me. Telling me how to focus when I spar. And then he started singing when he was fixing the droid. He does that a lot. But... it was a song mom used to sing to me when I was little. I just asked him how he knew it. I told him mom used to sing it to me. And then he fainted... I don't know why" These were undoubtedly all things Jair would address with Aerandir soon in the council chambers, but the boy, knowing mentioning his mother somehow triggered the episode for Jair, was naturally extremely curious.

"Hmm..." *Aerandir listened intently, already drawing several conclusions. The link between the song, Jair, and Mark's mother seemed obvious. And the revelation that Mark knew the song clearly was what set off Jair's... "premonitions," Aerandir chose to call them. He still spared a chuckle at the comment of Jair's singing frequency, then shook his head at the end.* "Jair—Jedi Crawford—has been dealing with premonitions that he doesn't yet understand. I'm hopeful I can aid in that soon but it's nothing for you to worry about." *He smiled reassuringly, though it were entirely possible Mark was concerned in all of this.*

Mark nodded. He would be lying if he said he was entirely satisfied with that answer, but even in his young mind he knew there really wasn't much more he could know until Master Jair and the Grandmaster talked. Even then, everything was still a mystery right now. Even to Jair.
"Ok. I think I'll try focusing on the Force, like Master Jair said. Oh... he also said he tried to fix the droid, but he had to put in a ticket..."
Mark still felt a bit bad about that. It was an accident. But the droid was probably going to need a replacement part as a result of it.

*In response, he gave an exaggerated eyeroll and sigh, smirking.* "Like I said, probably actually my sister's fault than yours. I'll have a talk with her." *He nodded to Mark.* "Anyway, I'll leave it to him to follow up with you, on his time. Until then, go with peace." *He gave him a slight bow.*

Mark perked up again at being once again reassured that the Grandmaster was not upset over the incident with the droid. He gave a small smile and returned a small bow to the Grandmaster.
"Ok. May the Force be with you, Master."
Mark picked up his lightsaber, but caught himself before going into stance. "Focus on the Force". He remembered the advice his masters gave him. Focus on the Force before beginning a spar. If he could nail this, he could finally get on track with his training.

*Aerandir watched him go before resuming waiting for his granddaughter and her friend. Soon enough they appeared, and Kasyr apologized for the delay; after some light prodding, it turned out that he was indeed waiting for Roma to finish. Aerandir couldn't resist commenting on how Roma took longer to shower than someone literally covered in fur, to which she replied with a bashful apology. With a laugh, he waved it off before explaining that he had to go speak to Jedi Crawford, but that he would come find Roma soon as he was done. As the two made their way to the dining hall, Aerandir headed for the council chambers.*

Xabi watched as Endor calmly and folded it, more civilized than she expected from the wild man. The smirk though faltered as he seemed to grow even bigger. But it returned as he turned to face her. She nodded in agreement with the terms of the engagement, the smirk turning to a grimace as this arrangement clearly favored him, with sabers in hand, Xabi knew it would be a more even fight. But like this... she wasn't even sure one of her strikes would register on his body. This wasn't to say Xabi wasn't fit, to the contrary, she was in peek condition. But the size difference was palpable. Her smile completely faded as her opponent roared. The Twi'lek female let out a breath and focused, using techniques Tamiyo had spent many grueling hours teaching her as a youngling, she blocked out all unnecessary distractions. Unbeknownst to her, this focus was further heightened by the Jedi Master's Battle Meditation. The knight stood her ground till the last moment. Then with the grace and acrobatic prowess due to a trapeze artiest, she twisted into Endor, brushing his bushy beard with her lekku. Then she grabbed hold of his meaty arm and used it as a high bar and with a swing from it she moved to twist her legs around Endor's neck, her legs locking together in front of the mountain man, and squeezing tight. With that she hoped to use her weight to knock Endor off balance and bring him to the training room floor.Tamiyo gave a sly smile to Katja and then tapped the side of her nose. What Master Calmcacil doesn't know won't hurt him... besides, not everyone in the galaxy respects our ascetic lifestyle. The Jedi master returned her focus to surreptitiously aiding her former padawan.
