Truth be told, Dalo was surprised. He thought the voice in his head was the Force himself and had no idea he actually reached out to Jair and spoke through the Force. This was a very new skill for him and wasn't even quite sure how he did it. He tried focusing on Jair's signature in the Force and reached out with his own, imagining forming words within the Force and tried to replicate what he had just done. IS THIS HOW YOU SPEAK THROUGH THE FORCE?!

***Before Current Felucia Time***
Jair smiled ever so slightly as he continued his meditations, the same tranquil images repeating in his mind.
Yes.
He didn't know what else to say at that moment, not wanting to throw off the progress Dalo had made, plus, he himself was feeling quite tranquil right now. He lay back and rested his head as he continued to meditate. Odd. An ethereal plane. Strange image to come up so randomly. But it was faint. And not concerning. So once again, Jair didn't think much of it at all. The tranquil images continued to flow.
"Most things are easiest to learn when you are relaxed... and calm..." Jair said softly as he lay there meditating with his head back and his eyes closed, and with a subtle smile.

Dalo took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, allowing his mind to ease and the body to become tranquil in his mediative state. The Force washed over him with a complete sense of peace affecting his soul to reflect the change. The Force is with me, and I am with the Force...
Flashes of the past appeared in front of Dalo's mind's eye, undirected and unfocused. First was a memory from not so long ago, walking through the crystal caves and the feelings associated when he found his focus crystal. Then when he attacked Jair and all the fury that was associated with that. But after was a man, strolling through a market. He was oblivious to a shadowed assassin waiting for his moment to strike. Then the man's face flash close up in his memory's view, eyes wide and void of life. A stream of blood pooling out from a body laying on a darkened floor. Dalo was torn from that and into another memory of pain, strong and deep within his stomach. He was younger, and starving, looking for food in a crowded market littered with merchant food vendors. And now, the last memory. Wrought with fear as a little Dalo ran frantically around in a scene that can only be described as chaos. People running everywhere, some falling and being trampled. Dalo's little hand trying to reach for then to help pull them up, only to be knocked out of the way and stumbling to keep his feet steadied on the ground. Then, a Felucian stood before him with a crooked and bent blade. Dalo Froze, locking his terrified eyes with the darkened and crazed set of the Felucian. Dalo thought to run but his feet refused to cooperate, and suddenly the Felucian sprinted toward him with frightening speed.
Dalo jolted, opening his eyes to the real world around him. His forehead was covered in sweat, his heart could almost be heard thrashing against his chest and his breath was panting heavily. Struggling to find air, he rose and immediately started to pace; mind racing and emotions unchecked. He wanted to leave again, and the conviction was strong. He targeted the door to the halls that would lead him to the comfort of his ship that could lead him back to the safety he was accustomed to instead of rebuilding his sense of comfort here and within the Force.

The tranquil images continued to flow... The Room of a Thousand Fountains... The old Gardens... the new Gardens... Jair smiled fully with a deep sigh. He loved peaceful meditation. And he was happy. He was very happy that Dalo was doing well with his meditations. But that's when the tranquil images were interrupted. And this time, not by some random thought that went quickly away like the wind, but by very vivid images. It did not take him long to realize that he was seeing Dalos thoughts. With a furrowed brow, he tried to shake it off, because he did not want to pry. But he then realized, as the images continued, that he was not probing Dalo's mind at all. Dalo must have been unintentionally projecting these thoughts to him.
When Jair saw the final memories, it pained him to see it. But then, the images quickly stopped. Jair opened his eyes, and quickly stood to his feet. He wanted to treat this moment carefully, because he sensed that much of what was shared with him was done so unintentionally. But for the moment, Jair called out to Dalo, gently, as he noticed Dalo headed towards the exit door.
"Dalo...?"
What's wrong?
He kept it at that for now, wanting to make it known to Dalo that Jair was here, and available to help.

Dalo stopped pacing and stood, tense, hard as rock. His voice cracked with emotion, fear, sadness, doubt. "What is this? Why has the Force shown me this?" He felt under attack by this own mind, as if it was combating the will of the Force. Or if this was the will of the Force, he thought why guide him to everything it has so far just to bring him back to a place he wished not to be in. Was it for strength? Resolution? Or cruelty. Torment?
Maybe this was a mistake...Maybe I'm not the person the Force either thinks I am or wants me to be.
Dalo sighed as he closed his eyes, trying to suppress these thoughts and feelings. Deep inside, he knew this had to be done but at the present he didn't feel ready. His fear for lashing out or doing something he would most likely regret later. The understanding of the Force didn't come without it's trifles, without it's burdens. Something made him regret his decision to return, or at the very least over stay his welcome. He was best working, keeping his mind busy and the memories at bay. Dalo projected these ideals and emotions freely through the Force, as was his inexperienced way. In time he would wish to control this but as of now it remained unbeknownst to him.

It's ok, Dalo. I promise you, it's ok.
Jair walked up to Dalo where he stood, gently, and calmly. He didn't know yet if Dalo had picked up on the fact that he had unintentionally projected those thoughts to Jair during the meditation. But he would not press that just yet. For now, Jair felt it more prudent to just try to answer Dalo's questions. "The Force is showing you these things because you went into this meditation seeking self-forgiveness."
With that answer, Dalo might realize that he had projected his thoughts, and that Jair had seen it. Though that wasn't Jair's intention. "Coming to terms with your past... and finding peace with it... will be crucial to forgiving yourself." Jair didn't realize it at the time, but his words would have some meaning for himself in the future. Eventually, Jair would find himself on a perilous journey recovering his own lost memories. But that was not something that was on his mind at all right now.

Dalo felt Jair's calmness and a sense of gentle care beginning to counteract his distress. He looked at Jair, quizzically before speaking more rationally than before. "I realize that, Master Jair. Just wish it was the easy stuff first instead of feeling like a cinderblock is tied to my ankle before throwing me into the depths like on Manaan while the Force is saying 'Swim Dalo, swim.' It's hard to take in and understand properly."
Dalo's words were sincere and truthful. He couldn't imagine anyone else guiding him through this than his Master. Anyone else might have been faced with a more deadly response, as was his old ways. Relearning not needing to fight and manipulate, steal and deceit to get by will be another challenge he faces. But for now, he focused on the warmer side of the Force's embrace. Dalo wiped his forehead and tried some slow and steady breathing exercises, collecting his thoughts and dealing with them one at a time. "Firstly, my time in the cave was the most relevant and meaningful thing I have done in a very long time. But when I attacked you, that wasn't exactly my darkest moment but maybe one of my most intense. I wish I could direct my emotions better, using them to better myself in some way."

Jair nodded. He understood exactly what Dalo was talking about. Not that he knew what it felt like for Dalo and his past, but simply how without proper practice, it could absolutely feel like the Force was throwing you into an ocean. That was definitely an apt descriptor for how it could feel sometimes. "The currents of the Force are powerful. It takes time and practice to develop a communion with the Force that is more balanced, and steady. That's why guidance during training is considered so vital. Jair said with a smile, letting that nugget of wisdom sink in a bit, albeit without pressing it too much. It was however, the truth.
Jair's expression turned more serious again regarding Dalo's latter statement, albeit still carrying an aura of gentleness, and complete understanding. There would not be an ounce of judgement that Dalo could sense from Jair at all. But Jair did need to address something, because he needed Dalo to understand what had just happened, and he needed to make sure Dalo was okay with it. "Dalo... were you aware that you were projecting your thoughts to me through the Force earlier, towards the end of our meditation?" Jair asked him this question with the utmost gentleness and compassion. Dalo was likely attuned well enough in the Force to be able to sense through it that Jair was being completely sincere in his utter refusal to be judgmental in any way. Still, Jair couldn't know this for sure so he wanted to make sure he was making it as clear as possible on his end that he was not judging Dalo at all.

"Well that saves a lot of explaining then.." Dalo laughed with a hint of embarrassment. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to share all that and have no intentions of making my problems anyone else's. However, there's no one better in my mind that I could have done so unintentionally with than you. I feel like I can trust you.." Which says a lot coming from him. Dalo was hardwired long ago that you can't trust anyone in the galaxy, or at least it would be foolish to.
Dalo spent a good deal of thought on Jair's words, both verbally and spiritually. He did in fact sense that no judgement came from Jair and that was a comforting feeling. Though the entirety of Dalo's history might eventually prove to be a different outcome but he kept that well guarded for the time being. The Force grew calm enough in him to sit again with Jair, and meditate something that could give him the will of acceptance for what the Force has shoved him into in hopes self-forgiveness might follow suit. His heart was steady, his mind calm as he breathed patiently and fully. There is passion, yet peace; serenity, yet emotion; chaos, yet order...

Jair just smiled. There was nothing for Dalo to apologize for. Jair was just glad that he trusted him. When he noticed Dalo had sat down to meditate again, Jair sat down as well, to do the same. The same tranquil images returned. He heard Dalo speak again through the Force and smiled slightly in recognition.
"Ah... one of the traditional codes of the Grey" Jair whispered quietly, not seeming at all concerned that Dalo was reciting that code instead of the traditional Jedi Code. It was also at this time though, that Jair was tempted to ask Dalo if he wanted to relocated to the Gardens. However, he didn't feel the moment was quite right to ask just yet. First he wanted to see how Dalo would react to Jair's recognition of the code.

Dalo started to fall into the balance of the Force, using his last words as an anchor and bring order to the chaos that lived inside him. He also sensed Jair's desires and thought there could be no better place to find true self and tranquility then in nature, which he usually used for his meditations. He felt foolish trying to do so in the Training Wing however he had not been back to Felucia in years and was unaware if the old Gardens still existed or if they rebuilt them. This gave Dalo a great sense of peace and also the desire to head there. "Let's go, and I'll have more questions for you there if you'll permit them?"

Jair opened one eye curiously before realizing that he had left his thoughts, and his signature, completely open to Dalo this whole time. It made sense, as there was no reason for him to close off his mind. At the same time, Dalo seemed to read Jair's thoughts so easily that he couldn't help but wonder if there might have been some sort of Force bond at work here. Jair would have no issues with that at all were it true, but if Dalo had questions about it, it would be hard to answer. Perhaps harder to answer than anything else, because bonds in the Force were... a very enigmatic thing. Even the Jedi Masters in the past that spent their life studying the effects and causes of bonds in the Force could never come up with definitive answers to explain the phenomena, from what Jair had read, at least. However, this was only a theory for now. Jair didn't know if this was actually taking place. And for the moment, he stood up, and nodded, with a smile. "That sounds like a great idea! Follow me, I'll show you where it is." He then headed out to the Gardens after beckoning Dalo to follow.

Whatever momentary reprieve his shoulder check earned him, it was short lived, because seconds later Xabi was back at him like a kowakian monkey lizard with a snozzle full of spice. Her speed was impressive and immediately put Endor on the defensive, forcing him to back peddle and give ground with each exchange of blows, which with a bit of help from the wind he was just able to meet with a block or deflection. Even so, it couldn't last for long, as he risked a quick glance over his shoulder and saw that he was being backed up towards the training room wall. While they hadn't established boundaries, the General was sport enough to consider that out of bounds, thus knew he had to do something to avoid stepping out of the ring. As he blocked the last few sequence of strikes, he waited for a pause as the young twi'lek prepared to throw herself into the next attack, then sprang into action at last second. Their hands and feet had been moving so fast they presented little more image than a blur, so when that opening came it seemed as though the two were briefly caught in a moment frozen in time, before reality sped right back up. Endor dropped his right hand to his side and released a pent up surge of Force energy in the form of a gust that propelled his body to the side, sliding across the sparring mat on the tips of his toes without ever taking a step, until the kinetic force behind the expenditure of power was spent and his heels dropped back to the floor, arrested his sideways slide. It gained him a few feet of clearance between them, enough this time to raise his guard, as he bladed his stance and held his fists in a boxers stance out in front of his bushy bearded face. A beard that like his greasy mane of hair, was as brown as the bark on the redwood trees of the Forest Moon, despite rumours to the contrary. Before Xabi had time to close the distance, Endor raised his right knee up to his chest, then thrust his heel out towards the recently elevated Jedi Knight's chest in a stiff side kick. The unrelenting assault against Endor had left her winded and sluggish. While the Force was granting her the speed needed to keep the oppressive wind at bay, she was wearing out. And somehow the massive tree of a man, kept evading her and keeping pace. Then the red headed... wait, no, it must have been a trick of the light... the brown haired Jedi Master dashed off to the side and before she could close the distance and continue her unarmed assault, in fact all she had time to do was turn, and then she saw the bottom of Endor's foot, moments from impacting with her chest. There was no time, no way she could twist herself out of path of the incoming kick. She felt it connect and then, like a shock wave, the rest of her body felt it too. Xabi flew up off the her feet and landed several feet from the point of impact. Winded and possibly bruised in the chest, but what was defiantly bruised was her ego and pride. She lay flat on her back, arms, legs, and lekku all spread at various angles as she tried to get her breath back. Oh- coughing and wheezing. Okay, Master, so maybe you are more coughing. Maybe you are good... She pushes herself up onto her elbows, looking up at the brown haired master Or maybe I just got a little unlucky. She smiled and winked as she, finally with full lungs again, got back up onto her feet. The twi'lek was trying to put on a strong face, but that last kick really took the wind out of her in the metaphorical sense too. After a day of training hard against droids, and then these two bouts, it was starting to wear on her. She stole a nervous glance toward Tamiyo, looking for any sign of encouragement.Tamiyo gave a small nod and smile of approval. The same look and action she had always done when Xabi faced a challenge that seemed insurmountable at the time, but the youngling always got back up, and Tamiyo was there to encourage her perseverance and tenacity. The Jedi Master, while still not directly assisting Xabi any longer, let her Force presence wrap around the Knight, like a gentle hug. This seemed to be what Xabi needed as she turned to face Endor once more.Xabi, filled with reassurance and confidence from her former trainer, put out a hand in the direction of her lightsaber. The silver plated hilt flew into her waiting palm and with a flick and flourish of her wrist, the green blade sprang to life. No need for her to fiddle with the power as it was already low from her earlier training. She smirked at Endor. Oooo I've been waiting for this!

The silver plated hilt flew into her waiting palm and with a flick and flourish of her wrist, the green blade sprang to life. No need for her to fiddle with the power as it was already low from her earlier training. She smirked at Endor. Oooo I've been waiting for this! "I'll bet." Replied Endor with a barely audible gulp as he raised his left hand towards where he had piled his belongings prior to beginning the match, splaying his fingers wide as he called upon the Force for aid, he focused his thoughts on a particular wood handled hilt he was quite familiar with. A slight telekinetic tug saw the lightsaber hilt spring from his coat and into his waiting palm with a meaty smack. Lightsabers...fantastic. It wasn't so much that he was unskilled with a lightsaber. The ancestors knew he'd been forced to use one more time than he could count, but in his heart the General was more of a brawler, far more comfortable with a brick in his hand than a lightsaber hilt. There was a reason he saved this for the end of their duel. This was the part he was worst at. He brought forwards his other hand and held the hilt down in front of his waist in a two handed grip, before finally slipped a thumb over the activation stud, bringing his blade to life like a bolt of lightning. SNAP/HISS! Erupting from the hilt's emitter was a crackling pearlescent white plasma blade, stretching to a length of a 1.2 meters, humming loudly in the former forest druid's callused grip. His hilt had been hand carved from a branch of the Great Tree near his home village, its wooden surface polished an intricately engraved with ewok tribal markings, all encasing a heart of Firkrann that powered the energy blade and served as conduit through which Endor could centre himself and deepen his connection to the Living Force all around them.Blading his stance slightly, with his left leg leading and his right sliding back about a shoulders length, the Corellian Jedi turned Rebel rabble rouser raised the hilt high over his head in a classic sarlacc stance of Form I. If it came down to speed, he was done for, so he needed to make sure each strike or block was delivered with as much strength behind it as possible, and hope somewhere along the way he could force an opening.

Dalo entered the Training wing with confident strides, making his way to an open space in the room so he may properly train with his new lightsaber. He activated a training sensor designed for reactional/defensive training used to help with deflection of incoming attacks. His goal was to strengthen his trust in the Force with the hopes that it would also strengthen his connection to it. The sensor floated around him calculatedly with a 'kooshk, and Dalo sat on the floor with his chins folded under his legs. In his right hand he grasped his Jedi weapon surely, with both arms stretched restfully on top of his thighs. His posture was laxed, eyes closed as he breathed wholly and deeply in meditative form but still very much aware with the aid of the Force. The sensor dashed a few times before firing, maneuvering again and fired another two shots. Dalo's saber tore the air in spectacular form deflecting the first two shots away, moved his left leg up with his foot planted in a kneel before deflecting the next two shots away.
Remaining cool and collected, Dalo continued training this way while deflecting many but also missing some occasionally. What was pain for but as an aid to learning, which he took deeply into his forms and dedication.

Xabi was most skilled in the art of Shien, but since it was unlikely that Endor was about to pull a blaster on her, she adapted to Form V's other variant, Djem So, ideal for saber to saber combat. Much like Endor though, she read the situation, and knew her speed, and not strength, would be the path to victory. But she was tired and sore from a day of training and from that kick to the chest. Keeping the brave face and cocky smile, she made the first move. Crossing the distance by bouncing to one side, then back to the other in a zig-zag pattern to keep Endor guessing as she came at him. Her feet barely touched the mat beneath them as she closed in and when she was within striking range she brought her saber low, relying on her speed for defense, she swiped up at trying to trace a diagonal line from left hip to right shoulder.

He had intended to check on the training droids to make sure they were functioning properly. After all, nobody wanted to end up dueling a malfunctioning droid. He didn't see Dalo, being in a different area, but he did sense a familiar presence.

Dalo's defensive stance eased as the training sensor finished it's protocol and floated in standby mode. He switched his blade off for the moment and breathed meditatively, deep and slow. He felt really good today, like everything was in balance and he was where he was meant to be or at least for the time being. The Force praised his training and dedication with a overwhelming sense of peace and Dalo radiated that peace. He sensed his mentor was close and looked around to find Jair inspecting the training equipment and walked over.
"Morning, Master Jair. How are you?" Dalo said with a respectful bow. "Is there any training droids laying around programmed for sparring circumstances? I'd like to go through come more offensive tactics, if you'll permit it. I'd do some with you but I figured that may be too soon since the last time." Dalo laughed with a playful wink. Although the thought did give him some discomfort. He hadn't come to terms with that event yet in means of forgiving himself for it just yet. All good things through the Force will eventually come of course, just never by his timeline which was most pestilent for him. Alas these things are most common in his age until he sheds a better understanding of life with the Force.

When the twi'lek's humming green lightsaber came up and across, Endor's crackling white blade came down, the two plasma swords meeting at the middle and briefly locking in place. Gravity had largely helped, but still it had taken every last ounce of speed in the weather worn druid's old bones to match it, and only just. Endor grit his teeth at the jarring impact, struggling to display his signature grin as his focus eroded his usual boisterous attitude, causing the loud mouthed Rebel ace to become unusually quiet. Briefly he pushed back against her blade, then pulled his own back and away, unlocking the two lightsabers and giving himself enough clearance space to perform a horizontal slash from right to left aimed at waist level. These weren't sparring lightsabers they were using either, but real blades with real consequences if either of them got sloppy. Accidents, while uncommon, were not unheard of. All it took was one careless sparring partner to permanently disfigure or even potential turn a friendly competition like the one they were having into a tragedy. It was for this reason his counter attack was half hearted at best, telegraphed and predictable as a padawan.

All good things through the Force will eventually come of course, just never by his timeline which was most pestilent for him. Alas these things are most common in his age until he sheds a better understanding of life with the Force. Jair beamed when Dalo greeted him. He was glad to see that he had at least decided to stick around for the time being. This was a very hopeful sign to him. Clearly Dalo was finding some sense of peace and comfort here, which was significant for him. Jair nodded in response to him with a grin. "Ironically I was just checking them out to make sure they were in good shape. They all seem to be running at optimal settings." Jair paused for a moment. "I don't mind doing some training with you. If you are worried about me from before, you don't need to be. I am fine." Jair tried to reassure him that training with him would not be a traumatic experience at all. The incident on Dantooine didn't really cause much in the way of distress for Jair at all. That moment was overwhelmed by the knowledge that Dalo was alive. That knowledge was the mark that was left over from that encounter, and it was a great thing. But perhaps for Dalo, it would still be difficult. That was perhaps something to consider.
