The lowest level of the Tiernvael Temple serves as a vast hangar for the Dark Jedi Order, with the remnants of the Praxeum's cellars and catacombs underneath. From the cellars, underground tunnels connect to the Meditative Canyon. A set of blast doors provides access to the temple via ship and open up onto a landing area within.

Skillfully piloting his fighter towards the misty mountains where the Tiernvael Temple was located, Sigea landed the craft within the hangar bay and clambered out of the cockpit. With a light tapping of his boots and a rustle of his cloak, the Dark Jedi was standing on the cool stone floor of the temple's hangar. Casting a glance around, he noticed several other ships docked within the hangar with workers and droids milling about, fulfilling their various duties. There certainly was an aura to this place. Though it wasn't as old as he expected. No, this was relatively recent. Someone had recently decided to reclaim the abandon throne of the Dark Jedi. But who? And why? These questions and more, circled within his mind, though he suspected he would find his answers soon enough. Lady Eris strode into the hangar bay. Her armoured feet clicking against the floor as she made her way toward the newly arrived ship and its pilot. She motioned toward the ship before a couple workers moved over and started refuelling the ship as Eris came to a stop just in front of SigeaI take it that you are Sigea Valorous? I am Lady Eris, Twilight Mage of the Dark Jedi Order...

Sizing up the winged, armored female approaching, as she introduced herself, Sigea inclined his head respectfully.
"Milady, a pleasure. I am Sigea. I appreciate you taking the time to meet with me..."
The Dark Jedi glanced around, taking it all in. Inhaling sharply and slowly exhaling, he spoke once more.
"To return home after so long...it is an unusual feeling, to be sure. But a welcome one. Too long have I spent, clawing out my existence on some backwater, holed up in a cave or shack...seeing our Order rising once more is almost heart warming, had I a heart to warm..."
The young man chuckles as his dry humor, all while maintaining eye contact with Lady Eris. Though he was being truthful, it felt good to be home once again...

The pleasure is all mine. It's always nice to have guests to keep things fresh... Though, if she was honest, they'd had quite a few guests of late. The number of Dark Jedi that were arriving to pledge themselves to the Order was a testament to the work they were doing here. But it also spoke volumes to the truth that Ifrit had once spoken about the Blackguard. While they preached of being an Order for all darksiders, they had gathered too much of a reputation for the Sith amongst their ranks.
Eris kept her attention upon Sigea as he examined the Temple hangar bay, exclaiming how happy he was to be back with the Order Home is what ever you make of it. But I should warn you, that this is not the exact same Order of old. The Fallen is in charge of this Order now, alongside the Fallen Empress. Two beings that have very different views to those that came before. But I don't imagine you will have too much to worry about... So, tell me a little about yourself Sigea...

- Approximately a Week after the New Arrivals to the Dark Jedi Order -Mariah had spent countless days in her chambers, remaining 'anti-social' as some had put it. What they didn't know were the tedious hours she had pored into a personalized holomap of the meditative canyon. For the most part, Ifrit and Eris thought she wholly remained in her chambers, simply hiding her presence from all for her own selfish sake. However, she had spent many an early morning delving deep into the caverns, memorizing tunnels, and comparing it to prior notes. There was something that lurked deep within that canyon -- something that neither Jedi nor Sith knew about. There was only one reason that even Mariah knew about it. Old myths and legends told to her many years ago, when she was but one of many.
She had expected it to take her months to discover a flaw between known maps and her personalized notations, but there was one gaping hole that reared its ugly head in mere days. Either she was incredibly thorough, or this conspicuous discrepancy would lead to a dead end. Either way, there was only way to find out.
The catacombs from the hangar bay would be her quickest way into the tunnels to the canyon, a route she took this time, although she had opted for whatever silent escape from the Temple she could muster in times' past. She only paused briefly to look about the ships of the new arrivals. Some were new to her, arrivals she had yet to meet, while others were all too familiar. Xel-Tun's was one... as was the YT-1930 which belonged to Gavin Phoenix . The sight of it caused the woman to pause ever so briefly as she thought back to her last encounter with him. The thought of losing that duel still made her blood boil, even after all this time... and the remembrance of the discussion afterwards, paired with the knowledge that he was here -- and she knew he had made sure of it -- her hand instinctively reached for the one saber she carried with her.
Clearing the thoughts from her head, she sighed, released hold of the hilt, and forged her path forward into the catacombs. He had become a distraction in too many instances, and this wasn't one she could allow. She had no other option at this present time but to quiet the rage and push onward. With her presence still unable to be sensed, Mariah's figure disappeared into the darkness of the catacombs, with only a faint flicker of flame to light her path.

The Nexus set down in the darkened hangar of the Temple, it's two beautifully curved legs settling on the concrete floors. As the sphere at the back of the craft opened, the boarding ramp extended from the base of the door with a loud, pneumatic squeal and the ratcheting of metal as the ramp extended. As Aderon stepped out of the craft, his eyes had a brief adjustment period to the darkness of this particular hangar. So far throughout his life, he had been used to vast, airy, well lit and equally well-appointed hangars. However, this particular space took on a much moodier, darker feel than he was used to.
Aderon did not know what he had expected, but the building style was certainly cohesive with what he had heard about this group. Efficient, dark, mysterious, and not particularly grand. It would certainly be something he would have to get used to, though thankfully, according to The Fallen, he would be safe to move about the galaxy as he needed, making this not so bad.
Glancing to his left and right, he could immediately tell that his craft was seriously out of place amongst the others in the Dark Jedi Order. The hangar was primarily filled with a mix of bulky, well armed, and well armored military craft, whose designers had clearly paid no attention to aesthetics, and who were all painted various drab shades of grey. Interspersed among these sorts of crafts were well worn down light freighters, most of which were Corellian, and so carried the rough, uncouth, industrial feel that was common in craft to come out of that festering planet. These crafts were pockmarked with both blaster and asteroid impacts, and their owners had evidently not cared much for maintaining the aesthetics of the ships. And, if they weren't damaged, they were extensively modified, further breaking up whatever visual appeal these ships may have had. Clusters of Predator-Class Fighters hung from the ceiling, looking for all the world like bats, and adding to the cavern-like feel of the space. All this stood in contrast to the graceful Solar Sailor, which was covered in immaculately polished bronzium, and looked for all the world like a vessel that had just been hand forged by some sort of artisan.
Brushing all this aside, Aderon stepped off the boarding ramp of his vessel, the door sealing up behind him as he did. Ensuring that nobody was in this room, he made his way to the blast doors of the chamber and opened them up, beginning to proceed further into the depths of this heavy, dark structure.

A speeder swings into the hangar, the engines drone and power down to high pitched whine, swiftly the personnel disembark and carefully yet hurriedly remove their would be patient. Staff from within the temple rush to meet the team and they quickly maneuver the hover gurney on its way towards the medical bay. As the gurney and the youth strapped to it makes its way to the med bay the team relay the wounds and injuries sustained, the team quickly work to install a central line do fluids and medicines can be delivered effectively and quickly and they administer painkillers as soon as the line is secured. The door from whence the medical staff came silently slides open and the team and gurney disappear into the bowels of the temple.

The path was relatively smooth as she made her way down the the mountainous area the coordinates pointed her towards. The clouds broke away to reveal the vast area, though she noticed a large opening in the crowd a little ways away. A crevice of some kind? Reaching out with the Force, she could pick up the presence of a number of Force-sensitives in the distance not far from the canyon. It seemed as if she might be able to figure out what it was as well as more of the planet before she left.
Guiding her ship, it wasn't long before she could see the temple built into the mountain range. Quite a defendable position. The only real assault that would be effective would be one from the sky, which made it easier to defend in the long run. A smart choice on the Spellweaver's part. A very clever man. As she made her approach, she noticed the opening in the side that gave her access into the hangar. Lowering the ship, she aligned herself before slowing down to a near crawl, her ship passing through the threshold. She could see hangar personnel directing her to a designated area, to which she complied. As the ship touched down, she took a deep breath as she stood and began leaving the cockpit. "Satele, begin shutting down the systems, please."
A synthetic female voice than resonated throughout the room. ::Understood, Luxeria.::
She could hear system after system powering down as she made her way down the hall towards her chambers. She had already healed the few wounds she received from Felucia, but what she was uncertain of was what to wear. Going to the closet, she debated the occasion and the options. Should she try to be presentable in front of him? As such, she could go with her more order based attire. Then again, the last time she had met with him, she had remained casual with typical shirt and pants. Or she could just let herself be comfortable and have some fun with those few that walked the halls and run with her skirt and spaghetti strap shirts. The idea made her smirk, ultimately making the decision for her. So she dressed in her light cropped black skirt, purple spaghetti strap shirt. It was a little more alluring which normally always got people's attention. replacing her belt, she left her regular saber behind as well as her orbs, electing to carry to two curved hilt saber instead. One each wrist, she wore the bangle Ifrit had helped her complete as she always did and the necklace obtained from Mustafar, which amplified her presence.
Once she was ready, she moved to the guest room where Umbra was watching over the child. He was still out. Taking a metal arm hard to the back of the head must have really taken its toll alongside using the Dark-Side as he did. She brought the thumb of her right hand to her mouth and chewed on it a bit as she thought about the battle and what she witnessed. Hopefully, Ifrit would be able to gleen more information about it. Taking a deep breath, she motioned for Umbra to follow. "Bring the boy. It is time to hand him over to his new master."
Scooping up the boy in his arms, the droid followed Luxeria out of the ship. Stopping at the foot of the boarding ramp, she reached out her senses, seeking out Ifrit. She had been told he was waiting in the Throne Room. Now to find where that was. Having a lock on his presence, she smirked as she departed the hangar.

The trip from Tatooine had been silent, at least on Vecna's part. He sat in deep meditation, feeling the comfort of the cold lifelessness of space beyond the walls of the ship. But that changed as they dropped from hyperspace and approached a planet. Once more, he could feel the tingling of life. They had arrived. With the ship landing in the hanger of an unknown temple. Vecna descended the ramp. In one hand was a thick tome of his reasurch and works, and in the other was his massive war flail. His iron crown sat upon his hooded head and he gazed around the hanger. He waited at the bottom of the ramp for being that had taken him from Tatooine.

Ifrit had decided it was better to leave Vecna to his meditations on the trip from Tatooine to Ambria. There would be plenty of time to discuss things once they arrived and so had opted to spend the trip back dealing with various administrative duties that the Order demanded of him to ensure its continued functioning. So when they arrived back to the Temple, Ifrit felt a wave of relief. While he had never set out originally to form the Dark Jedi Order and build this temple, it had quickly become a home to him.
He walked down the landing ramp soon after Vecna, leaving his blades for Tasradan to ensure they made it back to his personal quarters. Ifrit crossed his arms as he came to a stop next to the newest addition to the Order, briefly motioning to the hangar bay Welcome to the Tiernvael Temple, home of the Dark Jedi Order, and your new home...

A less than enthusiastic response, but one Ifrit was not all too concerned with A workshop space has been set aside on the first floor for you to get your laboratory set up in. As for test subjects... we have a fairly large population to draw from across Sullust, Ambria, and Onderon. You can collect them yourself, or I will have some top tier operators assigned to your command to go out hunting for you...

Good, good. Have these "operators" sent to me, so that I may brief them on what I seek. He paused for a moment before turning and facing the being. Is their any kind of research in particular you would like me to dedicate time to? Or am I to purely pursue my own goals?

Ifrit took a step off the landing ramp and started leading Vecna across the hangar bay. Making a note to get the resources necessary reassigned to Vecna once the newcomer was settled in. Ifrit paused and folded his arms, taking a moment to think Our Order is about personal power and development. So pursue which ever goals you prefer for research. I have only one request though, and that is for information on raising the dead as you did on Tatooine... I have something of a passion project that would greatly benefit from such knowledge...

Nodding slowly, Vecna gave his assent to share his techniques that had been refined over the centuries. Though the hint at a project being worked on be this being did interest the aspiring Lich, but he was sure not to show it.
Very well, you will have access to my research on that subject.

Ifrit gave a smile, before continuing to lead Vecna across the hangar bay. If the man's research proved to be as pivotal as Ifrit suspected it would be, he would be more than happy to share information on it. But not until he was certain that it would work. For now, he would keep his cards close to the chest Excellent! Now then, let me show you to your future workshop... Not missing a beat, Ifrit lead the way out of the Hangar Bay and through the corridors and hallways of the Tiernvael Temple. Leading Vecna on something of a short tour of the place on the way to the workshop

Months had passed by closing in on a year and all that could be gathered on the Blackguard had been. It certainly wasn't an easy feat, getting the information of the Sith group from their Dark Jedi allies. Not all the information was there and it left many holes in any form of preparations against their defenses. But it was possible to do so another way. Over time, Lexi had watched and learned of the forces, ships, and members that made up the Dark Jedi. Perhaps her master could use them to weaken or penetrate the Sith order in preparation for their assault.
It was also best to begin her retreat from Ambria in light of recent events. They had become suspicious of a traitor or spy within the midst and she, with her skills and pheromones, had avoided detected thus far. She had even navigated away from the sniffing of the prospective Midnight Cardinal, Aderon Dooku. He was certainly a tough one to redirect, showing his skills obtained over the years. But she believed she had effectively pushed him towards one known as Gavin Phoenix. By what she knew, he had returned to Iridonia and the Blackguard so the idea gave a legitimate excuse to suspect him.
But she needed to get out before his return. Entering the hangar, she boarded her RC-2 Twilight Scout Ship. Quick to power up the systems, she navigated the ship out of the hangar and into orbit.

Bit by bit, his steps became fuller and more stable. Before long, her arm would go limp as he was running beside her. He pulled his wrist free from her, though if she felt it, she would sense the light being returned to the state it was in before the Hssiss arrived. For now, what mattered was getting free of the cave in. Catacombs Beneath the Tiernvael Temple Dodging what falling debris she could, Mariah was forced to send several shockwaves in the Force to keep others from pummeling the two as she ran. Gavin Phoenix was just a puppet under the crystal’s control, unable to walk or run for himself. It would’ve allowed him to be crushed under the weight of the tunnel by the ways things were going. Although Gavin could harness the stone to something close to its truest potential, he was not their Master. It was a flicker of a though, a brief flash of a memory, there and gone for Mariah to push forward to get the two of them to safety.Just as they were breaking through the entrance into the catacombs beneath the Temple, she could feel it. Gavin returned, his feet picking up, his control reasserting itself over the temptations of the stone. Mariah could only huff out a sigh in her relief as she looked to the ceiling. Here, the walls were reinforced, built by man, unlike the natural disaster of the canyon tunnels. As soon as boulders falling from the ceiling turned to nothing but dust, Mariah’s pace slowed from a sprint to a hastened jog. Although they were safe from being crushed, the resounding quake would have no doubt been felt by those in the Temple.“Keep up, and stop trying to play the hero.” Mariah narrowed her eyes as she glanced over at Gavin out of the corner of her eye, never once slowing her pace. However, somewhere in that expression there was a hint of relief, perhaps not something easily seen. With the crystal’s power, it might have been something felt. Despite that, though, Mariah kept her grasp on Gavin’s wrist as resilient as ever as she pulled the two through the catacombs, until their path opened up to a great expanse, supported by grand pillars on either side of them. Finally, they had reached the Temple, which as Mariah expected, was in a hubbub from the quake.Removing her thumb from the ignition, Nihilo stuttered a hiss as it retracted back into the hilt. Those who would rush by needed to believe that escorted an ally, not enemy. It would be the perfect moment for the crystal to flare again, but it was a risk she needed to take. There was no point in getting this far for the temple guards to find the artifact. Just as she assumed, guards had quickly gathered and rushed in from the hangars above, superiors shouting commands at their units. Groups rushed towards the catacombs from which they emerged, rushing towards the two who fled from the tunnels. At the sight of Mariah, however, some stopped. Under her breath, she cursed the day she agreed to be the Empress of the Dark Jedi. For those that continued with their pursuit, she attempted to keep Gavin as far away from them as possible as they pushed past. For those that had stopped to greet and question the Empress, however, Mariah was going to be forced to offer a suitable explanation in a quick amount of time. Tugging back on Gavin’s wrist, she issued him to stay behind her as they came upon one of the guards who had paused. Before he could even pose a question, though, Mariah quickly “There was a collapse in the tunnels. No casualties that I could sense. Prepare to secure the area and clear the debris from the impacted location. I'll send a map with the exact coordinates once I retrieve it from my chambers.” Mariah issued the command as firmly as she would address anyone else in the Temple, and with a militaristic-style acknowledgment, the man took charge from her command. However, as she pushed past him with Gavin in tow, she could feel his gaze lingering on the hooded man she dragged behind her. The guard suddenly issued a hazy command regarding him and reached to pull at his cloak, to remove the mystery of the shrouded man. Mariah was quick, though, to keep Gavin moving to avoid this kind of attention, to avoid the guard’s grasp. That was unless he decided to act so hastily again.Mariah was already tense about the next step -- getting Gavin past his ship without the crystal’s surging power to take over and flee. It would all be for naught if he decided to pull another stunt here so close to the Temple itself. Gavin needed to heed her earlier command, for all their sakes. Stop trying to play the hero.

Despite the fact he was keeping up and even tried to pull away in order to run more comfortably, Mariah's grip proved to be as a vice, keeping him from being able to break away. The only response he got was the heavy tug to keep pulling him forward, signifying that she had no intention of letting go. Even when they cleared the caverns and entered the more stable catacombs, she continued to keep her hold of him, though their pace slowed.
The slightest of growls came from Gavin's throat at her words. He may have understood her feelings on the matter, but he was still not one-hundred percent in control yet. The price paid when trying to tame such power in the moment's after it flared. Still, he refused to let the artifact to seize control again, no matter how much it tried to fight back. The only thing that made him less tense over the words was the feeling of relief he could sense from her.
However, that tension soon returned as they entered the hangar, the sight of so many around them, all with a presence in the Dark-side. The reaction from the stone held within his cloak flared, though it remained hidden from the senses of others. Luckily, nothing came from Gavin as they progressed through, despite the tension she'd be able to feel. The only thing kept him from acting was the fact that the two didn't see eye to eye about this situation. Since they weren't in sync, the power couldn't seep in like before, only beat on the door of his resolve.
All the while, the power that still ran through his beings allowed him to be more aware of his surroundings, even so much to feel the man Mariah had addressed try to remove his hood. With Mariah's tug and his own quickened pace, his hand caught nothing but air. Whether he would attempt to stop them in order to question Gavin was unknown, yet a slight scoff came from under the hood, laced with his usual cockiness. "It may be just me, but you may have better luck with people attempting to stop us regarding me if you weren't hauling me around so violently as if I was a prisoner."

It was true enough that Gavin looked the suspicious part, hidden under a hooded cloak that shrouded every part of him in shadow and being dragged around by Mariah with an unrelenting vice grip. While the guard had sought to do his duty in protecting the temple, he overstepped his boundaries with the Empress, even if she acted as though she hadn’t a shred of power over them and needed to assert herself for the first time. Even as a leader among allies, she was still the cloaked, disregarded woman in the sketchy cantinas scattered across Nar Shaddaa.
Catching the guard’s movement out of the corner of her eye, she turned her gaze to fall upon the guard. With a narrowed gaze, she reached out with the Force to fill his mind with the most terrible things he may have found under the cloak. Things born from nightmares, things to make him regret having acted out against one by her side for it was acting out against her. Although the guard didn’t utter out a scream of terror, he stood in wide-eyed terror as Mariah pushed the two into the hangars. She would get an earful from the Fallen Lady Eris later, but she would deal with that when the time came.
From the guard and onto Gavin, Mariah seemed to deal with disrespect in some fashion or another all around. At least he didn’t cause another scene with a fraction of the temple guard flooded into the area. However, his words that she was hauling him about like a prisoner resonated and reminded her of the searing pain that climbed up her hand up to her shoulder. She inhaled a sharp breath between gritted teeth as she carefully released her grip from his wrist. With the lingering effects to remain a nuisance for at least a few more days, Mariah closed and opened a fist a few times to at least shake out the tingling pain that felt like pins and needles piercing through every nerve.
“If you were a prisoner, I would have just rid myself of you to them in a heartbeat, and that’s assuming you would’ve made it this far otherwise. I don’t take prisoners, Phoenix, something they’re all more than aware of.”
With her harsh point made with sharpened tones to cut away at his cockiness, Mariah glanced up from her hand to the hooded figure next to her. Lowering her hand back to her side, she turned her vice grip from his wrist onto Nihilo’s hilt in the other hand. They weren’t out of the woods yet with this mission. Just out of the corner of her eye, she could see that blasted ship -- his ship. On the way into the caverns, she had wished it would be rid of the hangars and Gavin gone with it. Now, she found herself fighting to keep him in the Temple. It was as if bad luck like this perpetually followed her, the Force’s way to find amusement in fate’s hand.
“After you.”
With a tilt of her head towards the entry into the Temple, Mariah urged Gavin to take the lead once more, with her following directly behind him and her gaze trained upon him like a predator waiting for its prey to make one wrong move to pounce.
