The third level has been converted to lodgings for the members and allies of the Dark Jedi Order. The rooms ranged in variety from dorm style with bunk beds for multiple students in training, to more exclusive singular rooms for members that had attained ranking higher within the Order

Having gotten a quick tour of the temple, there was little else for him to currently do within the temple. All that was left was a personal task of locating Mariah. He had allowed his presence to be easily felt compared to normal as a signal to her, yet he still didn't feel her nor did she come to meet him. There was no telling exactly how'd she'd respond, though he expected she'd be less than thrilled. He could already picture her demanding to know why he was here when he seemed to show no interest when she first told him of the Dark Jedi. Yet, she had not come around. Surely he was obvious enough, perhaps even she had been told by Ifrit of his arrival. Still, she was nowhere around. Chances were, she was keeping her distance.
That meant he had to seek her out. Reaching his designated chambers, he entered and threw his trenchcoat on the bed as he took a seat on the floor. He'd have to seek her out, a task that would be difficult. But he was determined to find her and speak with her before he left. And so the game of hide and seek began.

The Count's room was very different from the rest of the temple. Well appointed in a style that would not be out of place in the upper city of Coruscant, the room made extensive use of various symbols in order to give a personal touch of the room. Sconces were a running theme. As were simplified emblems of his Noble House. The window of the room overlooked the meditative canyon that cut through the land like a gash across flesh. The door of the room, manufactured by Securis, was able to resist blaster fire, making the room extremely well protected. The four pyramids on the floor of the room, when activated, would serve as emitters for four holographic beams, which would be amplified through the chandelier hanging from the center of the room. In addition, the table would retract into the floor, allowing for a full-use holographic station. However, Aderon, always a lover of luxury, has made it such that fresh flowers should be delivered to the room every day by droid for the flowerpot on the table.

It had been about a week since Aderon's initial landing into the Temple -- enough time for current members to ask and pester him about his arrival, his reasoning for being here, and other curiosities. By now, though, those outward questions had dwindled down, and he had become more of a recognized figure within their ranks. Although the whisperings never really did dissipate, as a man whose aura stood with stark differences than most of those within the order at present.
It was around this time of day that The Sable Count expected his daily flower arrangement to arrive in his room. Within the meticulously selected bouquet, however, there was one single flower that could only be described as a mistake or an eyesore. A single desert rose stood apart of the bright whites and soft yellows, even more so with the expertise alteration of its coloration. The petals nearly black, fading into red and thus into white at the bottom. An exotic, rare choice, if one could look past the very fact that it clearly didn’t belong with the brighter and softer tones. To make matters all the more interesting, a note written in an elegant calligraphy was wrapped in twine around the base of the stem.Meet me in the throne room. ~the Empress The droid, seemingly unaware of this mishap, delivered the arrangement to Aderon's room without fail as it had with all others' past.

As Luxeria made her way through the temple, seeking to become accustomed to its layout, she had received word that a room had been set up for her and was given its location on the third floor. Upon gaining this knowledge, the woman decided to call it for the day. Even now, she was not yet over the events of the throne room, thus her mood was still darkened, leaving her with little interest in her surroundings. She could only hope that after some time meditating and a night of rest, all this would fade away and she could resume her tour and carry a moderate expression of care, especially if Ifrit were to find her again.
Moving down the hall, she followed the instructions that led her to the guest area, rooms designated for those who were visiting allies or those who had yet to receive chambers of their own shortly after arriving. Each door she passed, she read the designated number, moving on to the next as each showed itself to not be hers. After moving halfway down the hall, she finally came across it. Entering the code granted to her, it unlocked and allowed her entrance. Stepping inside, she took a look around, her head moving slowly from one side to the other. Basic in its appearance, there was nothing truly special about it. Of course, she didn't expect it to be. Why put out the effort to create something really nice for guest who wouldn't;t be staying for long periods of time? Still, there was that twinge of disappointment that settled over her at the mediocre room. She had become quite happy with her residence back on Mustafar, a chamber built for a goddess. That design and luxury had taken some root in her mind, one that she brushed away. Along with that luxury came her residence upon other, less appealing situations, including out in the wilderness. And so, she was able to redirect her value to what she had been given: a place to stay with a shower and comfortable bed. That was all she really needed.
Moving towards the room, she looked back at Umbra as it followed her inside. "Go ahead and power down. I won't be needing any more assistance for the day." Umbra gave a bow of his head. before moving over to the corner of the room. It was but a second or two before the glow of its eyes faded and its head slumped over.
She watched it for a moment more before crossing the rest of the distance to the bed. Her hand moved up to her chest, fingers brushing along the pendant that resided there and amplified her presence. She played with it for a few seconds with both hands, soon grew bored with it as h thoughts began to drift back to the throne room and beyond. Slowly, they departed the necklace and moved down her body until she found her belt. Undoing it, it fell to the floor, weapons and all. Then she removed her boots as she sat down on the mattress. Letting out a sigh, she simply fell back, hair spilling out as her forest green eyes looked up at the ceiling.
She thought further on the why of her irritation, trying to pick apart how Ifrit was able to get under her skin as he did with but that single line. She thought it was clear enough that he had mostly made an opening offer at a union, the underlying meaning clear as day, especially when asking about Vasari. But was it all that was to it? Was it because she was once again denied by someone she actually sought out? She felt certain she had grown beyond such petty feelings and desires. After all, she was Luxeria, a woman many desired, especially now. She could have nearly anyone if she truly wished it. Was it merely a lie she told herself? Was it something that no longer held sway over her until this moment? Or was it something else entirely?
She then began to think why Ifrit of all people? It couldn't have been simply because he offered once before. It certainly wasn't the first time she had been approached with such an offer, to which she always declined. Then why? She wouldn't deny she did have an attraction to those who possessed power in some form or another, even those who were only at her own level. Vasari had been proof of that. So what about Viox? Powerful, indeed, but something about him just didn't catch her attention. Perhaps it was his role? Trying to establish such a thing with the Sith'ari would be, without question, a daunting task, no matter how skilled she was in seduction. Besides, if he had wanted her, it would have been made clear long ago. There was also the knowledge that Viox had someone in his life. Maybe that was all it really was that kept her attention away. She could only guess. Then there was her old master Malvus. Powerful as well, but she knew the reason there. He had been her master. Her feelings towards him were completely directed to him in respect and appreciation, seeing him as nothing more than a teacher. There was his son, Vurkar, but she rarely saw him on Eraidu unless on missions. Not to mention her focus had been entirely focused upon her training, something she knew made her tunnel-visioned. So nothing had even been capable of developing. Then there was Gavin. While he appeared nothing special in his abilities, she knew better. She possessed his memories and saw what others didn't. He was as strong, if not more than those of the highest echelons of the Blackguard, easily standing up there with Viox and Malvus. He was also a looker, for sure. So why not him? He had trained her, sure, but not enough to establish such a relationship as had been formed between her and Malvus. Perhaps it was because she could see and understand him and his past. Just another level of respect that she didn't wish to tread upon. What he sought, she knew she could not give. No others had remotely caught her attention either over the years.
So then why Ifrit? He was indeed powerful. And she wasn't even bothered by his appearance, nor his possible age. Still, all she knew of him was what she had learned from around the Blackguard, her only interactions with him were those days on Sullust creating her trinkets. Definitely not enough time to establish anything. But there was something about him that separated him from the others. Sure, powerful and focused upon his goals like everyone else, but there was something about his nature that intrigued her. She couldn't explain it, but in that small amount of time, it had secretly wrapped itself loosely around her mind as she picked up on it. And there it waited until things had faded away with her old partner and their bond began to dull. Bit by bit, it slowly settled itself into her mind until it finally struck her as some realization at the time of defeating the power. Why else would she have come here instead of bringing him to the Blackguard?
Still, so many questions remained as to the why none in which helped her mood any. Sitting up, she closed her eyes, cursing herself silently for her weakness on the matter. She wasn't anywhere near the level of control Gavin had over his emotions, but she didn't imagine she would have so easily been swayed by what happened. She had to be better, stronger, in better control. With that final thought, she removed her necklace as she let herself slip into meditation, looking to steel her mind and heart and regain her center.

The hours passed by as day turned to night. It was upon the rising of the sun that Luxeria’s eyes opened suddenly, her body shooting up from the bed in a rapid jerk. Her breath was heavy as she looked around. Trying to get her bearings, she took deep breaths in attempt to calm herself. While meditating, she had slipped into sleep and fell back on the bed and continued on that way until the morning hours. The sudden awakening came from the mind’s sudden realization that she had, indeed, fallen asleep while in the middle of her meditation. Between the trip to Ambria and what and transpired the day before had taken more of a toll on her mental and physical state then she cared to admit.
Her face in her hands, she worked to rouse herself, feeling that a shower was in order. However, as the minutes passed, the more the thoughts from before worked to creep themselves back to the forefront of her attention. The meditation and rest has worked to quell some of her mood, but not enough for her to move passed it. She needed something else to distract her for the moment in hopes she could manage the rest of the day better.
Looking down at the floor, she saw her belt and the weapons attached, giving her the idea to do some training before cleaning up. It always seemed to focus her mind before, so no reason it shouldn’t this time around. Getting herself ready, she looked back to Umbra, ready to activate the droid to aid her. But after a moment, she decided otherwise. For the time being, she wanted to be left alone to her thoughts. There’d be time enough for the intense training programs Umbra carried within its databanks.
With that decision made, she made her way from her room towards the training area.

The firey haired woman made her way down the halls of the temple, her mind all jumbled from the events that had transpired within the training room. Her steps were quick and her focus set forward the best it could be in her current state. Unfortunately, it was still in the morning hours and those who had yet to already be running about were now emerging from their rooms, creating some form of traffic. While many had the mind to move out of her way, it didn't come without many questioning and frustrated looks. For the most part, only a handful of people actually knew who she was, making her an unknown stranger in the eyes of those within the temple.
Finally clear of the crowd and in front of her room, she worked to open the door as calmly as possible, trying to keep from establishing any kind of scene that made her look weak in the eyes of another. Once the door closed however, she fell back upon it her breaths heavy as everything that happened moments ago played out in her mind. What was going on with her? Why did this stir her so badly? For everything she displayed and felt for others, never did she get attached and have issues breaking away, letting go, and moving on. Even with Vasari, it hadn't been that way. She was upset and angered at what she learned, true, but she didn't try fighting to fix anything. In what she felt was a betray to what they had, she walked away from the Zabrak.
For a split moment, her mind drifted back to Vasari and that moment on Dathomir when everything started coming to light. Prior to making the trip there, the young Zabrak had informed her of her true purpose in working to take down Viox, a plan Luxeria hoped would fade so as to not be stuck in the mind deciding which side to take. But when those extra bits of detail came to light, it became more personal and made her question the reality of the woman she loved. It all felt like a lie as if the woman was doing nothing but laughing behind her back at her stupidity. Closing her eyes as her frustration rose with the memory, there was a quick flash her in mind, extremely blurry images of lightsabers flying about as combat ensued, then the sensation of a shaking ground, and faint, distant screams.
Opening her eyes, she looked around. What was that she just experienced? Was it meant to be a vision? Up until now, it had never been a talent she was known to have. Her mind was always focused on the now with planning for the future, but she never looked to the future and what lay waiting there for her. After all, the future was what she made it. Strange that something like that would be taking shape in her. Still, something about it felt oddly familiar. It couldn't be a memory, not she could tell for sure with such a faded and blurred image. Shaking her head, she pushed the thoughts from her head as she crawled over to the foot of the bed, removing her belt once more and letting it fall to the ground as she went. Reaching her destination, she sat with her back to the bed, making it the wall for her back to settle against as she let herself slip into meditation once more, working to push the thoughts from her mind.

Ifrit lead the way through the many twisting and window hallways with the newest member of the Dark Jedi Order, a Kalee Warrior by the name of Xel-Tun Lessh, at his side. Ifrit knew just which rooms were occupied and which were not. Thus, with this knowledge, he stopped in front of one of the single person living quarters and opened the door, urging Xel-tun to follow him within. The room itself was nothing fancy or special. It looked like any other standard living space fit for one person. A large bedroom/living area dominated the space, with a small kitchenette and doorways leading off to a refresh room and storage for clothes. Ifrit came to a stop, letting the door close behind Xel-tunIt might not be a royal palace, but it should prove functional for the needs you will have of it while you are with us...

Having taken the morning hours to meditate and clear her thoughts of the recent encounter with the Fallen, Luxeria felt she could once again make her way out into the temple and explore a bit. With the time it would most likely take to deal with Kahn, she knew she'd be stuck here for a while and she had no desire to leave and return, nor to stay couped up witjin her chambers.
Taking a deep breath, she stood her feet and made her way back out into the main hall, rwady to let her feet carry her to a new destination.

Heading down the corridor set aside for any guests to the Temple, Mariah led The Holy Man towards his temporary quarters. Two nights wasn't a problematic accommodation, especially considering that the Dark Jedi rarely had any guests yet. Most who dwelled in this section were assigned here until their permanent quarters were arranged. It would make for a peaceful few days Hiro had with the Dark Jedi."If there's anything you need to prepare for your upcoming duel, you can reach out to my lieutenant, Aoife Mesir," Mariah stated, her eyes locked straight forward as if speaking to no one in particular. "Else, you are free to wander the grounds--at your own risk." Only then did Mariah's gaze glance over to find Hiro as a subtle warning."The guards aren't too keen about newcomers meddling in things they shouldn't." Especially as of late. After the latest espionage attack, the air had been different around the Temple and understandably so. Caution was beginning to dwindle between certain members, but the Guards were more on edge than ever. The environment may have been tense for some, but it was a haven for the Empress."If absolutely necessary, though, you may reach out to me for emergency purposes."

He followed her in silence from the Hangar Bay, keeping a keen eye on her body language the whole time. His voice held genuine sincerity when he thanked her for accommodating his strange request even though he could tell she remained skeptical of him. Nevertheless, she did acquiesce and he would honor his end. He had a feeling in the back of his mind that she had some sort of trick up her sleeve, but there was little he could do about it now. He could only listen to her speak as they walked, and be a courteous guest.
I believe I have everything I will need. If not, the Force will provide.
He tapped his walking stick on the ground, giving it a look. It wasn't much more than what it looked like, just a simple walking stick made out of wood. But in the right hands...
I think I've done enough wandering on this planet, my quarters should be more than comfortable. I don't intend to inconvenience anyone more than I already have.

At first, Mariah simply offered a hum to the man's statement. She continued to guide him down the halls until she came across one door in particular. The door whooshed open, revealing a meager but accomodating guest quarters for Hiro. A bed to rest his head, a chest to hold any personal belongings he may have brought with him, and a personal refresher.
"The Force will provide," she uttered back in clear disapproval to the message. "If that changes, say the word. On my honor, you will be fully prepared. Should you find defeat in your duel, I do not tolerate excuses."
Although her words cut like a knife, there was also something noble about how she presented it. At least, it was easy enough to catch that she believed as much, even if the views weren't shared. Nonetheless, she would ensure that Hiro would fight at his fullest capacity and ability, even if she loathed the idea of humoring a stranger on her planet.
After her point was made, the Empress eyed over Hiro's walking stick. As her gaze lifted to find his eyes, she arched an eyebrow at him disdainfully. However, she didn't say anything and only shook her head. Perhaps she called it when she saw him with nothing but that walking stick--one of those users. Time would tell.
"Then make yourself at home, stranger. I'll see you in three days."

He didn't say anything as she showed him to the room. When she delivered her less-than-veiled threat of not tolerating excuses, he only nodded in acknowledgment. They both seemed to be in agreement with the situation. He stepped into the room, letting the door close behind him.
It was meager in its appearance but he didn't need opulence or even comfort for that matter. He slowly scanned the room with his eyes, wondering just how many listening or video devices were set up that most people might not consider. He assumed there was some form of surveillance in the room but also knew he couldn't do much about it.
He shrugged to himself and reached into one of the pockets of his traveler robes and pulled out a datapad. He knew there was also a solid chance that his hosts could tap into any correspondence he might have, but luckily the individual he received a message from was following proper protocols. Their digital conversations used an advanced hexacrypt system layered on top of a separate language cipher that would be almost impossible to decipher. He quickly deciphered the message mentally as the screen flooded the room in digital light.
WC located at primary target. Will update en route to secondary target.
He cleared the message from his datapad before tucking it back into one of the pockets of his robe. It gave him some peace of mind to know that the issue was being handled by one of the few individuals he trusted. However, now he must anchor himself in the present and ignore everything else. The Force led him to this place and the path ahead of him was clear. He bent down and sat on the ground, sitting his walking stick to his side as he closed his eyes. With a deep breath, he opened himself up to the Force and began meditating on his next move. He intended to remain motionless on the floor the entirety of the three days until he was collected.

However, this stranger called 'Hiro' was not ultimately left alone for those three days. On the final night before the duel, a small Miraluka woman walked the living quarters' halls. She kept her senses keenly attuned on her destination, which glowed faintly in the Force with an outline of pale light.Per her Empress's orders, she would check on their guest and ensure that everything would go as planned the following morning. So long as he cooperated, she had her own orders to issue to him as well. However, due to his unfortunate arrival timing, she was not alone in her ventures. A Lorrdian general known as Belian Gorask followed her side-by-side in silence until they reached their guest and challenger's quarters. For the two, they needed no words to share their concerns with one another.A knock rapped at The Holy Man's door, disturbing the man from his meditations.

The arrival of the stranger had certainly put more than few within the order on edge. With the recent events regarding the spy within the order, Belain was far from the most trusting of newcomers. As such, he had made it a point to not let the Miraluka meet with this man alone. She was certainly capable as a Phantom Reaper, but he had no desire to take chances.
It would also serve them well considering the abilities they possessed. If the man had anything to hide or had come with ill intent, they would figure it out. Between her people's ability to use Force Sight and pick up on the auras of others and his people's skills in reading even the slightest of body languages, keeping any lies hidden would mean he was skilled in keeping all forms of information to himself. Staying cloaked as to hide his own face and limit his body language in the presence of others, only Aoife would be able to pick up on anything.
Reaching Hiro's door, he stood just behind her, the cross guard lightsaber at his side, ready to be taken from its resting place at any moment.

For two days Hiro remained deep in a meditative trance while he sat motionless on the floor of the room he was given. He had not slept, eaten, or left the room in that time and knew that the duel he requested from the empress was fast approaching. However when he heard a knock on his door that pulled him from his meditation, he knew it was too early for that. As the noise grabbed his attention, he reached out through the Force to try and feel what it was telling him about his visitor. He sensed concern and... uneasiness? From his previous conversations with the Empress, he knew for sure it wasn't her that came to see him.
He rose from his position on the floor and took a deep breath, exhaling not just the air from his lungs but the Force from his aura. Years ago he had learned how modify how others could sense him through the Force, and now he made it so that his presence could not be seen. He walked to the door and opened it with an impassive look on his face to see who had come to disturb him. As he looked he saw not one but two beings in front of him: a miraluka woman and a human male. In the split second he took to look at them, he let his mind passively observe the situation while he greeted them.
Well, hello there. I wasn't expecting any visitors at this hour. Does the Empress request my presence?
He said the words with a welcoming smile and a passive body language, but that didn't mean he was unprepared. He stood in the door frame until he was sure that he should let them in or not.

It was a curious thing, Aoife noted. This stranger also used a tactic that the Empress had developed over the years. His presence was undetectable within the Force, leaving him but an outline within her Sight. The Miraluka had been briefed on what little bit the Empress had gathered about the man. Truth be told, she wasn't shocked in the slightest about this development. Although the spritely woman still had a sense of concern lingering about her, she didn't attempt to hide it or her presence from him. Instead, she allowed gentle confidence and serenity enveloped her being. If this stranger was open to sensing it, he would understand that she was far friendlier than his possible prior expectations.
Despite her welcoming nature, Aoife's expression remained passive, and although a black cloth covered her eyes, she seemed to stare right into the stranger. Her hands clasped in front of her, pale skin against more black. The only thing that seemed to break apart the white and black tones were her honeyed locks and her pike's electrum hilt, which rested upon her hip.
"No, unfortunately, my lady is busy with some last-minute arrangements for your challenge tomorrow," Aoife answered, her tones light and eased to match the presence she exuded. "She and I shared concerns that we hadn't heard from you throughout the duration of your stay, so we agreed that I would check in on you."
Despite Hiro's own passiveness and welcoming inflections in his voice, the nature behind hiding himself had already washed away any attempt of success. What more, he appeared to guard the door, as though this was more to him than a meager guest room provided to him. Another curious note even the Miraluka made from what she could gather from the Force. Rather than combat it with a stern shift in her nature as some others might, she remained the epitome of tranquillity and patience. She hoped that Belian would follow her lead.
"If this is a terrible time for you, though, we can keep this brief to leave you to your preparations?"

Belian watched as the door opened and the man stood before them, curious as to their arrival. Standing a bit behind Aoife, his eyes fixed themselves upon him from under his hood. His presence was hidden away, much like how the Empress carried herself. They knew her to be powerful, but to newcomers, she gave them nothing in which to judge her strength. Moved of deception that worked to keep one hidden and out of the public view or as a means to get the upper hand in a situation. So the first question was which was he attempting to do?
As the two spoke, the Lorrdian kept his focus on the body language of Hiro, though his passiveness made it a bit difficult to decent anything immediately. But that further added to Belian’s suspicion. This was a man who knew who to keep himself unreadable in any situation. Skill and practice existed within him, that much was certain. It was rare anyone could achieve this naturally.
But as with Aoife, he, too, took notice of how he stood in the doorway. He stood as a wall, barring them entry if he could help it. So did he have something to hide? It was unclear, but the cloaked man didn’t trust him. He had grown up always having to watch his back, never being able to put trust into people until he found his place here. And now, he used that cautious nature to watch all those that arrived within the temple for their intentions, especially after the recent incident with the spy.

My apologies. Please, come in.
He didn't sense a threat coming from these two, but even if they ended up being one it most likely wouldn't be something he couldn't handle. He stepped away from the door and turned his back to the newcomers as he moved back into the room. It was a clear indication that he was giving them the space to accept his invitation and join him. He turned back to them and introduced himself.
I'd offer you a drink, but... You know.
He gestured to the room around him to indicate that this was only his temporary residence and he didn't have much to offer. He took a moment to watch them assumedly enter the room as he gave himself a moment to relax his body language and presence in the Force. Instead of hiding it, now he let ever-so-slightly emanate from himself. He showed calmness and contentment through his aura.
I thank the Empress and yourself for the concern, however, I am managing just fine. I hope the Empress trusts that I will honor what I've promised her. Sorry... My name is Hiro. And yours?

As Hiro allowed them entry, Aoife bowed, so effortless and immediate of an acknowledgment that it must have been disciplined into her for many years. She seemed to smile, though, albeit faintly. Naturally, he didn't need to do as much as offer them a drink when he was the guest, but it was appreciated nonetheless. However, that faint smile disappeared quickly when he didn't seem to know who she was. She cocked a head curiously at him, and after a brief, uncomfortable pause, she realized he really didn't know.
"Oh," she breathed in recognition. "My apologies. I am Aoife Mesir, right hand of the Empress."
Again, the woman bowed, but this time she had dipped low at the waist in a more apologetic manner.
"Please, forgive me. I thought that the Empress had already made you aware that I was your contact point should you need anything. Had I known you were not even aware of who I was, I would have introduced myself sooner."
Aoife lifted herself back to stand at her full height and lifted out a hand towards the Lorrdian.
"And accompanying me is Belian Gorask, one of our order's knights."
The Miraluka took in a deep breath as she seemed to 'look' about the room. Despite the cloth that covered her eyes, she had learned long ago how to mimic those with sight, to make them feel a bit more comfortable around her. An added relief was that she kept herself near the door. She wished to allow him the comforts of this small space as though it was his own.
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. However, I don't make it a habit to call another by a false name, so for now, I will simply refrain from calling you anything at all."
Aoife hadn't meant that rudely, shown by the gentle smile that played upon her lips. However, she wanted to make it known as well that she was briefed fully by the Empress. If any tension had inadvertently slipped through the cracks, though, Aoife continued with the same, unwavering lightheartedness and kindness she usually exuded.
"I'm sure she'll be pleased to know that you are ready for your duel tomorrow. She also noted to me, though, that you only had your walking stick. She was... insistent I ensure that you did not require any other weapons or gear. Although she can be quite tough and impersonal, the Empress carries herself honorably. For such a challenge, she desires you to fight at your fullest potential. If there's anything I can obtain for you, I can assure you that it wouldn't be any trouble."
With a sudden thought, Aoife then cleared her throat, bringing a closed hand to cover her mouth.
"I could also fetch you something to eat and drink as well to ensure you're at your fullest strength?"
