Work continued at the yards, with construction of new and better designs working alongside repair and refit works on dozens of vessels of all classes. With the yards working around the clock, there was a hive of activity, with resources and personnel moving around the vessels, some half-finished. Space was filled with dock workers in shuttlecraft and mechanical arms and gantries, all buzzing around the vessels moored here, or those under construction.
MandalMotors took orders from all Mando'ade, but also fulfilled corporate and private orders from across the galaxy, so there was no shortage of employment. The economic benefits that flowed to Mandalore and her people were very evident, with the share price of MandalMotors steadily rising over each quarter,

An encrypted transmission reaches the head of orders at MandalMotors, accompanied by a data packet. The encryption is one of Mandalorian origin, and as such is easily decoded by the team at MandalMotors, though were it to be intercepted by others, it would appear as nothing more than asymmetrical gibberish. A helmeted head appears on a near by holoprojector, his features shielded by a unique Beskar'gam helmet which had an angular finish, contrasting the appearance than most traditional helmets. A voice spoke out, one with a very subtle Mandalorian accent, which would only be picked up by a fellow mando.Greetings, as per directive of Kaine Australis, I am placing an order in for a fleet. Kaine's crew operating out of MandalMotors yards were notified of the incoming encrypted transmission. Soon enough one of the senior techs looked over the decrypted message. Once he'd perused the details, he sent an encrypted packet out to Concordia, where the more covert yards were located. Construction of the custom vessels was undertaken in the same yards that had produced the Vegemite Enclave's ships, while the Mandalorian ships were produced above Mandalore among the regular production.
Contracts between major manufacturers that had licensed Mando products out to other producers of military hardware allowed MandalMotors to produce other companies' licenced designs. Everyone profited nicely from the arrangement. Such a large order wasn't too unusual, many planetary defence forces were supplied exclusively out of Mandalore, and so it would not draw any particular notice, nor would it disrupt regular production. Many of the heavy yards in the covert area near Concordia were surplus to MandalMotors' regular production, and could augment them when demand required, as it did now.The only reply sent in response to the encrypted message was a single word. Construction on the 3 Adamant-Class frigates, the 3 Teroch-Class Frigates and the 6 Kranak-Class Carriers was well underway in the yards above Mandalore. The ships were well within the ability of the yards to produce, and work was subject to a rush order, which gave the employees plenty of incentive to work well and work quickly.
Most of the vessels were already well into the fitout stage. The yards had already completed the Carriers, and was completing the last of the works on the Frigates. Extensive numbers of construction vehicles and drones moved over and around the capital ship hulls, making the yards a hive of activity.

Preparations for Kaine's Byss mission were well underway. New fleet elements and support vessels had been constructed and fitted out, ready for service. Supplies came up to the yards from Mandalore at a rapid pace. Smaller vehicles and fightercraft were constructed downside, and then ferried up to orbit.
At the yards, the capital ships were built, and in addition, some of the larger and more massive ground vehicles. Ten extremely large constructs in addition to hundreds of large battle automata which would all be loaded onto transports and freighters to bring them into the combat zone.
Troops and their ground vehicles were all being distributed among the fleet's assault transports and heavy freighters ready for the trip to the Deep Core. In addition to the troops and vehicles, ammunition and supplies needed to be laid in to support the assault force.

Kaine watched via holotransmission as the Battleship Australis cruised back in toward Manda'yaim, partially eclipsing the system's primary as it did so. The vessel cast a long shadow across space as it moved back to drydock after the completion of final engine trials. He admired the magnificent design and was rather excited for the next phase of testing, the weapons systems.
As the Australis moved in to the docks to be armed and refueled, a process which would take some time; there was a hell of a lot of ammo to be loaded aboard the battleship, her sister ships were to move out for their own engine trials. Vhett would lead the way, accompanied by Bralor. Other ships of the class were still under construction or fitout, remaining in the construction area.The two newest vessels cruised out, flanking their older sister to port and starboard, as the next generation of Mandalorian warships slowly but surely came towards readiness. Kaine flicked off the transmission. The vessels still needed to finish testing, and be fully equipped and crewed before they would be fit for service, but he was satisfied that the construction work had been done in good time.
Heavy activity at Keldabe's spaceport and in orbit showed how hard MandalArms and MandalMotors had been working to process the recent upshot in production and distribution volumes. Transports and shuttles, like the production facilities, worked around the clock. The companies both benefitted financially, even while paying out the significant achievement bonuses to their staff. All this work, while serving the purposes of Kaine and his aliit, also helped Mandalore's economy.
Kaine's own economy wasn't doing as well as usual, with his personal accounts having been heavily drained by the preparations for Byss. It wasn't a Mando or IRI or Vegemite operation, so he had nowhere to go with the bills, and they came from his own pockets. This wasn't the sort of thing he could do every day. His officers and commandos were only too happy to spend the old man's credits, especially on kit. Even he had been shocked how much booze and food they could put away while on leave.Grimly, Kaine returned to his drink, satisfied that he wasn't going to go bankrupt this week, and that he'd got some very pretty battleships to play with in the future. Up in space, the Alor-Class ships were prepared for service.
