If you want, you can send me as the Prime Minister's security escort. I will have you lead/be a part of the security detail for Jacques Hu. I am still determining if Graemon will participate physically or over a holoimage. I could also be present if you wanted? I would ask Ice about Lynne's presence since I know that Ice, and co., rp the doctors of the RDMC. So, I would just make sure its alright with her. You could be someone called in for... some reason or another. |

I doubt it would be an issue, but I would still check with Ice. She isn't an unreasonable person, but this is a neutral medical facility that has been around on JvS forever. I mean I asked to see if its alright to have the security detail, considering the RDMC's neutrality (and Honoghr) in the galaxy. Didn't wanna upset her by not asking. Like I said, doubt she would have an issue, but always best to ask ya know?
Seeing as you are the top medical person of our government, basically the Coalition could have sent Lynne as a medical representative and such. Wanna make sure Jacques is given the best treatment possible from the RDMC. Makes sense right?

Finally done with my studies and ready to do my part within the Coalition to protect her interests in the cockpit of a starfighter. Cadet Soraya primed and ready.
Just need to figure out where and how to get her started.

@soraya well, we got some action going on at Osarian if you want to drop by there, or if you want to sit this one out, we got a couple other places we are looking to run some liberation events. Seems our Warhawks are yet to start rolling, so maybe getting attached to either Lynne Jameroo, Renzo Ostrenis, Graemon Gorgano, or Eain Erso [RETIRED]'s fleets might not be a bad idea. |

Actually, the goal for her is to work her way up the ranks. Being put into a squadron that’s meant to protect a medical fleet would be considered low grade for most pilots, though the importance certainly isn’t lacking. If it works best that she starts even lower on the pedestal, despite being in the top percentile of her class in the seat of a starfighter, that works as well.
The whole goal for this character is to work her way through the ranks and seek to achieve being part of the most elite squadrons much like training a Force-user from the bottom to the top.
Looking really to figure out where the academy would be and go through the assignment process with the other graduates and get shipped to whatever base/fleet she's meant to join. I can NPC that whole thing if need be and can even NPC for a short time a small patrol crew she gets assigned to or a reserve squadron if need be. That's the biggest hurdle in getting started.

Well, I know I wrote in the existence of an academy on Tralus in the terrain. I'd imagine Corellia definitely has a naval/pilot academy. And quite possibly Fondor. Also I believe you may have a wingmate in the creation, But don't quote me yet. So, feel free to pick one of those three worlds to get started on.

I'd be happy to have you aboard. Lynne and her command staff aren't going to turn their noses up at a rookie (because how else do they become aces if not given the chance). And correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like the academy that you're graduating from would be on Corellia (you could use open terrain for that most likely)

Corellia would, in fact, be the best option since that is here homeworld and there being an academy there. Just a matter of figuring out where to send her then. For the most, while I do want to play out climbing the ranks, goibg from squadron to squadron as her skills start shining, I'm leaving it up in tge air as to where the Coalition brass would most likely put her. I hear it that typically, the highest of a class get to choose their assignment, but was going to leave her fate in the hands of everyone else in determining where she ended up. Let the flow of writing carrying her instead of just outright deciding this is whst I'm doing. Give her the goal to achieve and let things fall where they may.
That being said, to start, I certainly wouldn't want to go higher than one of the squads, probably the lowest ranked, in Lynne's fleet. Like I said, I have no problem having her assigned to a small patrol team, at least to start, which I can fully NPC. Could start there to get her rolling for a little bit, have a mission they end up havibg to do, her skills get noticed by her team and flight lead as well as their superiors in the leader's report, to which she gets promoted and moved to Lynne's fleet.
Roll there for awhile and grow before her skills get her moved to some of the more combat oriented fleet, and continue working to going an elite squadron like the Warhawks if that's still a thing, or another elite squad.

So, thinking it through, I have the idea to start on Corellia and work through the assignment process and any little bit of story there before she gets shipped off. I can NPC an initial crew of a patrol team though I ask where a good section would be to patrol? Would use a single refitted Raider, maybe two if people think it a better option, and the small group of four-eight starfighters, though the question there is what starfighters would be on the lower end on the Coalition's roster? From there, do a little bit with training scenarios to help get her going, then undergo a mission or two (if two one planet-side and another in space.) From there, just see where the wind takes me and whoever wants to jump up to promote her and move her to her next fleet.
Get that last little bit of knowledge and I think I can press forward with an opening post this weekend.
