The Corellian Coalition

Due to my lack of activity and interest with this character, and several failed attempts to do something productive, Kaz will be deleted. The Coalition has managed to grow incredibly well in the past several months, and I feel as though this character is just dead weight at this point. It's been fun, and maybe another alt of mine will continue working with the Coalition in the future.

Hello! I have created this character to take part in the Coalition. He's a politician seeking to fight for the downtrodden and forgotten people of the galaxy. He sees the Coalition as the best existing institution for this goal and wishes to work within it. I'm still not quite sure how to fit him into the RP of the Coalition so I'm open to ideas and look forward to writing with everyone. I think I'll also eventually get around to attaching a naval NPC to this account so there can be some more military writers when needed.

Would it be safe to assume the Corellian Defense Forces still exist for handling local matters? Stuff too small for the Coalition to care about. That's how we always did it in the past, so I'm not sure what the IC reason would be to change it. You know how stubborn Corellians are

This is the description we have presently for the organization of the Coalition Army, which would expand to also be true for the Navy as well.
Basically there is the Coalition Army and Coalition Navy which is a sort of unified command to ensure the easiest cooperation and operation of the armed forces. Mainly so we don't have to deal with any issues of trying to coordinate a bunch of independent militaries and such, and worry about people thinking their military outranks another person's military.
Probably a good way to break it down, using an example most people can relate to: Think of the Coalition Army and Navy like the army and navy of the US. While each member state of the Coalition would have say... a National Guard and Police Force that they run, which would usually run locally, but in an emergency would fall under the command of the Coalition Armed Forces.
Essentially this allows for organizations like the CDF to exist still.

I was going to use this character (I'm Oznerol, who also writes the Ostrenis, father and son, admiral and leader of the Resistance) to be representative of the planet in the Coalition's senate and as a minister of the said government. If you check the bio, I tried to arrange chronology the best I could, trying to make sense of all the background I knew from the planet Naboo. She's a former queen and served on the GA Senate. If you want, you can still rp the inclusion of Naboo into the GA. But, because you were gone, or at least told as much, I wrote your queen as currently retired and pursuing artistic endeavous, lol.

Open to suggestions, hearing your input as former writer for Naboo and to edit things accordingly.
