Garrick himself noticed the look that Zahn gave him, but really did not care all that much. After all, he was proud of his achievements, and knew what he had done to earn them, regardless of if some young upstart thought he knew otherwise. He wore the standard uniform of a Grand Admiral, and as it was unfortunately required, he wore all of his rank related insignia and various decorations. He really did not like the attention that it brought to him unneededly, but unfortunately such protocol was required at these formal events. He disliked the Imperial Army, and found the only reliable member of it he had ever met was his current commander, Cato Bly. Aside from this, however, he really could not be bothered to deal with this.
Unfortunately, a small crowd of officers were already whispering about the arrival of Garrick, and as suchX he chose to join a conversation in order to prevent himself from being forced to engage with such people. Casually adjusting his position to hide the 7th Fleet Insignia and Imperial Sector Pin on his arm, along with the various decorations attached to his chest, he made his way to the bar to pour himself a glass of Corellian Brandy; it was one of his favourite drinks, after all, and typically speaking, this was a good as place as any to speak with someone. He was planning on retiring from this event early, as he had work to do in preparation for Operation Para Bellum that was upcoming, especially surrounding the ship that would be used for it. Even so, his presence was required, and as such he would attend.

It was then, that Zahn noticed the group of Imperials make their way down into the hall from the box seats that had been set up in the higher levels of the chamber. A look of disgust briefly crossing his face as he spotted Grand Admiral Garrick Needa and his son, the Imperial Knight Lucien Needa, among the crowd. While his new rank had granted him an invitation to such an area, Zahn had declined on principle alone. He turned his attention back to both Standash and Jenia thenIndeed, things are always happening... Though some ways and customs should be left to die and rot in the past... Those old families talk of being apart of the Empire, yet sit above everyone else, lauding their names and power over others. It disgusts me how brazenly they spit upon the work that the First Order has done... They claim privilege and power, sitting in their places above all others, and only coming down to... grace us with their presence once the formalities are over... Having so far only listened to Zahn's words, Jenia's attention was raised when he spoke about the imperial families. Somewhat conflicted, she had to agree and disagree at the same time. Not solely because she had to think of her own affair with Lucien, an Imperial Knight from the well-known family of the Needas, but as well because of her own one. The Kasalles stood never proud within the center of imperial attention, but had build their fortune like the Tagges with trade and a fleet, which was capable of fullfilling these tasks to a level, where they could establish themselves. Thus she expressed her own thoughts honestly. "You might be right, that not every family has honored the First Order or the Empire in general as we have done, Grand Marshal, but keep in mind that the heroes today will be the generation of the future Empire", she thus spoke solely, "May it be by their own deeds or the deeds of their forefathers, I respect anyone, who fights for the Emperor and for the cause of the First Order. A name isn't everything, but men and women alike can show that it is worth to remember their name. Without influential families like my own one, we would still be dependent on funds by the Muuns and other alien species. And given their finances it is most times the descendants of famous captains and admirals, who follow into the footsteps of those before them - if any invested Credit into a bloodline wins us the battles of tomorrow as a consequence, then it was worth it. I agree that we shouldn't overfund the barons and other elites, but they have a purpose as well. When you have a family on your own, recieving the praise for your most recent deeds, you will see what I mean." She didn't expect Zahn to agree with her at this point and wouldn't be surprised if he saw it a different way, but she knew that he might see it differently a decade later, when he sees his own family growing. That is, if he even has the intention to continiue his family line.

It was at this moment that Lucien Needs walked into the Convocation Chamber, standing to the right side of his father. He is wearing a ceremonial, traditional uniform, rather then his usual hypermodern attire. He and his father, along with a few other members of the Galactic Command that had been invited, had watched the speech from a box seat high above where most of the individuals watching the speech were. His father did appear to be preoccupied with something, but he still enjoyed the speech. His only issue was that he was unable to watch it with Jenia. He would hopefully, however, be able to catch her now in the main event. He sees that she is preoccupied, however, so he walks over to his fellow Imperial Knights, who are surrounded by all manner of alcohols. He chooses this in order to help build his relationships with his fellow Knights.“Knight Ferrum, Knight Dah’lis. A pleasure to see both of you.” Accepting another drink, this one far less alcoholic and a lot more tasty Xeonon watched the old guard of the Empire join and intermingle with the rest of the rabble. One such he had seen a number of times since returning to the Imperial Knights. Is it not a pleasure to see me as well Needa? There was venom in his voice. Was this the best time to have an argument? No. Still he had to get it off his chest. Ever since he had returned to the Imperial Knights he had felt more an outsider than when he was on the run. Many of the newer Knights only knew him as the man who tried to kill The Emperor. Not too many of them knew his role in getting the Empire to where it was today.

Standash lowers her head and smiles. She had gotten used to this response. "Thank you Grand Marshall, I am sorry I have been unable to meet with you before now. I look forward to working with a man of your reputation. She wasn't flirting, but she was sure to add something to her voice. Playing into a man's imagination was almost always beneficial.
She notices the old imperial families make their way down to the main floor. She made note of everyone she saw, particularly the Needa family. They had a lot of influence. The Grand Marshal, made valid points; however, she was a princess. Stagnation is the enemy, of everything. We must keep moving forward. My family back home instilled this in me, We ruled because of who we were, we stayed ruling because of what we were doing. Unfortunately, some desire only to be lauded for what has been. Hopefully their children continue to prove the families worth, otherwise they will be passed.

Her answer speaking volumes for the great potential had to sit in the position she had attained and the possibility to thrive and maybe even rise further still. He could certainly understand the position some of his comments might put her inAnd yet, my dear, you chose to stand down here amongst the crowd, despite the privilege that is brought by your families name. It is one thing to invest in people that show promise and potential, but it is another thing entirely to set them up in a box set and let them believe they sit well above anyone else here. All of whom have proven their worth in battle and service to the First Order. Praise them, give them an award for their service... That I fully support. But giving them box sets so they can sit above others... Then despite our own work and efforts, we and others became little more than the common rabble to them. Unfit to serve alongside them and be given any of their notice... He turned to Standash as she made her own commentsThe problem comes when they are no longer lauded for their worth, but claim placement for the actions of their family, and demand they retain their places. Because their family is better than the rest of the First Order... He let out a sigh, and gave a bow to both womenI'm sorry to have wasted your time with my ramblings... I have read much of Imperial history and seen Imperial nations toppled because those with fame were able to abuse their position and cared only for the power it gave them... I would hate to see the good work that the First Order has done be toppled by the same mistakes of the past...

There is the other side of it Marshal. Up there, they are out of the way of the people actually working. She smiled as she looked around. Plus, when they feel important, they give out more credits. Something she had done her entire life was look to take advantage of every situation. Her mother told her that their was always hope in every situation. She had meant it to be encouragement when Standash was feeling down. Standash took it to mean much much more. Most people's strengths could be a weakness, if you applied the correct leverage.

Ah, Knight Needa, Shot, A pleasure to see you come down to be shot, among your people. She said this mostly in jest, but the name Needa was old empire, and even when she said it in a casual conversation, their was a sting of venom behind it, even if she did not intend for it to be their. Waving to the confused, and likely worried bar tender to pour two more. Glancing over at Xeonon, she gave a smile, Oh, don't take it personal, I'm sure he just missed you in your very subtle attire. Shot.

The Emperor moved through the crowds, be trailed by his guards... and the HNN press. They really wanted a word with the Emperor for the public. It annoyed him immensely as they never seemed to give him a bit of rest. Nicademus desired to speak with his subordinates without the press attempting to take a picture or butting in and asking questions. True, he could order the Stormtroopers to throw them out, but that would look bad. So, he eyed the crowd and, eventually, found a good way to get them off of his back.
Nicademus spotted Brock Ferrum, with a few other Imperial Knights, and thought of the perfect way to get away from the press. The Emperor came into view, causing the Praetorians to follow and the press to follow as well. The Imperial walks up to few nights gathered with Brock, taking note of Xeonon, Needa, and Dah'lis... who was making quite the liberty with the drinks.
Knight Dah'lis, I think you are forgetting your shift is in a few hours.
The Emperor says with a chuckle before placing a firm hand on Brock.
Brock Ferrum, my good brother! I hope you are enjoying yourself with the festivities. It is good to see you with the knights and it is good to have family here. Family means everything, after all. You, like Xeonon, are my sword and shield... just as Faina was before.
Nicademus then turns, focusing on the press.
The Imperial Knights are well handled! My brother, the Steward, works tirelessly to ensure that they remain as efficient as they were under the Fel Emperors. Know that he is a pillar of the Empire and should be praised as a hero of the First Order.
Quickly, the Emperor leans in and whispers.
Enjoy, Brock. They are all yours.
The press immediately caught onto the words said by the Emperor and began to crowd around Brock, seeking a word or two of his role in the Imperial Knights, in the Royal Family, and more. A grin was seen on Nicademus's face as he makes his escape good, ducking into the crowd and out of sight. The Praetorians lingered for a moment before turning and going to rejoin their leader who went off to speak with other guests of the celebrations that weren't a part of the press.

Well things certainly went downhill fast. What was supposed to be a bit of drinking to blow off some steam starting going sour rather quickly. One Knights insulted another by not noticing him there while a third was getting increasingly drunk and more sullen. Then to top of it all off the Emperor himself arrived with all his retainers and a gaggle of press who he promptly left at Brock's lap by essentially announcing casually to the universe what was up to this moment known only to a few higher ups in the Empire. He took only a moment to glare at his "brother" before downing another shot of the strong disgusting liquid before spinning on the stool he was seated at and turning his best smile on the reporters as he reached out with the force and sent a pulse of energy toward the reporters force flashing their equipment which began sparking slightly as it stopped working. Turning his smile into a slightly concerned frown at the sudden sparks his voice gains a concerned tone as he addresses them. That is unfortunate. Ever since we've arrived here some of the disrepair on the planet has been causing all sorts of weird electronic issues. He shrugs apologetically to the small crowd as he gestures for the barkeeper. "Well in any case if you're going to be joining us for a bit of conversation you can't very well participate without the traditional shot." As if on cue the bartender arrived with the bottle and began pulling shot glasses from behind the counter as Brock began handing out glasses with a smile. Over the course of the next few minutes the charismatic Imperial Knight deftly dodged personal questions while getting the press core drunk and learning about them, reversing the situation somewhat using his jovial nature to disarm the reporters and treat them like friends, which naturally would lead to a lot of confusion when everyone woke up the next day, but for the moment Brock just enjoyed the twist.

Zahn could not help but agree there was a certain logic to her argument. Perhaps he was a little too pragmatic in his views, to accept the idea of choosing the lesser of two evils. It seemed a waste to tend so much to what was perceived as protocol. Those that benefited from such accolades seemed to have little interest in reforming such ways, despite any stated claims that they found such things loathsome. Like with most things, Zahn knew he would have to take the matter into his own handsPerhaps you are correct Moff Thul... I just hope that their inflated sense of self importance does not get good men and women killed, as it so often does... Anyway, I bid you fine ladies adieu. I am sure there are others eager to try their hands at impressing you both... He gave a nod of his head to Standash and Jenia then, before disappearing into the crowd. Seeking out anyone that may provide some conversation, or to find a place where he could continue to avoid the political conversations

A brief moment of panic, as Dah'lis thought she would have to go back on duty. But that passed as the Emperor made a hasty escape, leaving her, with a shot still half way to her lips. A glance at Brock told her taht both gentlemen had more to worry about than what her schedual was. And besides, her orders had not belayed from Brock, so... Shot. But now their was a crowed of upset reporters and other members of the press, gathered around. Not what she had hoped for, at least their equipment seemed to have 'malfunctioned.'

The Convocation Hall was a rather busy place to be in. Yet, when the Grand Marshal was seen coming down the main way, anyone in the way immediately moved aside. Baltasar walked further down the immense hall, towards a walled off location with a large entrance. A strong presence of the Imperial Guard Stormtroopers were present outside of the entryway. They handled the flow of dignitaries and emissaries while also keeping security. Baltasar walks up to their commander and shows him the credentials from Savit-Torkan. The commander looks and nods his helmeted head. A wave of his hand was made as the Imperial Guard allowed the entry of Ahmet, who was escorted into the throne room by Baltasar. However, at that point, any guards the Solenbaran emissary brought were told to be left behind.
Inside, the din of the Convocation Hall seemed to vanish once the doors were closed behind Baltasar and Ahmet. Inside, patrolling and stationary Imperial Knights walked about with the Praetorian Guard present by the throne. Nicademus was seen finishing a glass of water to relax him after the tens of visitors before. Sometimes, the Emperor had to do things, other times, he had his secretaries or Baltasar handle them. Setting the empty glass down, the Emperor turns his attention to Baltasar and the arriving Imperial diplomat. Unlike before, his gray Imperial officer's uniform had been replaced with a white outfit, adorned with a matching cape that had a crimson inline. No badges or decorations dressed him besides a simple pin that bore the sigil of the First Order, keeping the cape together.
Baltasar, having approached the throne, stopped at a distance and knelt before his brother.
=Baltasar Delvardus= Your Imperial Majesty, this is the emissary from the Solenbaran Diarchy, Ahmet Savit-Torkan.
Nicademus nods his head quietly before turning to Ahmet. Instead of remaining seated, the Emperor rose from his throne and descended from his elevated position. Two Praetorians followed him on his flanks as he did so. Adjusting his gloves, slightly, the Imperial begins to speak.
Welcome to the Imperial Center, Ahmet. Or rather, welcome back to Coruscant. I believe you are a Coruscanti native by birth if our files are correct. I must first congratulate your kinsman, the High Moff, on his successes in the Corporate Sector. I have been told that great strides are being made.

Ahmet looked at everything atentively, he observed the pomp surrounding the hall, the rows of guardsmen and, finally, the emperor himself with his guardsmen. The embassador was wearing a perfectly ironed uniform, in red. Over his chest, the plaque identifying him as a moff; or at least something equivalent. A dark cloak covers one of his shoulders, falling in elegant waves and drapes, folded on his right forearm.
"Indeed, my lord"
He stands still, reassured by the presence of Thrune herself, a graceful grant from his uncle and adoptive father. The two figures in the scarlet mantle and featureless' mask had not be seen in Coruscant for many years. Their uniform was identical to that of the Emperor's Royal Guard; what Nicademus probably didn't know is that one of them was an actual guardswoman from the now defunct corps. With both standing behind him, silent and statuesque, Ahmet felt emboldened, not lessened by the grandeur of the throne.
"I was born here and lived in the planet for many years. You might now some of my relatives more intimately, including my mother"
His beard was well-trimmed and he conducted himself with the elegance of a highborn. His mother was now married to Antidies Valorum, after divorcing Ahmet's father fifteen years ago.
"The High Moff has, indeed, been quite successful, the whole sector and its hundreds of systems are now unified under his personal rule. And that of his diarch, Lady Zariel"

Trying to remain so far calm, Azrea was considering at first to just ignore the order given at them. Who were they in the end to command her, the one whose only true loyality lied with THE Emperor and not the fake usurper behind these doors anyways? Yet, given Ahmet's safety, she eventually gave in and gave the men behind her a handsign to not ignore this plead. In her mind, Azrea ran through multiple scenarios how she could safe Atash's nephew if events would take a wrong turn. Although it wasn't perfect, the security system would be hard to overcome for the three of them, yet she was certain that they could breach the door and maybe even overcome what lied ahead. An escape from the palace seemed unlikely and would require her to consider multiple tricks at once, especially when considering that the First Order was rumored to have force users among the ranks of their guardsman. Killing these would be a challenge for which the veteran guard was up for, killing their puppet emperor in hopes to at least do the Diarchy one favor, should they dare to murder Ahmet Savit-Torkan as well. That was the sole reason, why she was here, for she had already presumed that the First Order might have learnt the same lessons as she had learnt from Daala.
Without even turning around, she so far remained stoic before the door, where the Imperials of the First Order had denied them access, waiting for the meeting's outcome. She had in the end patience and knew when they would have to strike. So far the Diarchy kept their word - it was now on the traitor's side to not unleash the shackles onto which her loyality towards High Moff Torkan bound her.
"...you must handpick the best among your men and women to escort him there, I want no dangers to befall upon his head while he's outside Corporate Sector space, you hear me? If something ever happens to him there will be dire consequences for the responsible guardsmen and guardswomen. Whoever you pick must be ready to be killed for him and protect him at all costs. Because if something happens to him, they will be executed. ..."
These were his words. Ironic to consider, that she nearly wished for a mistake to happen - for as she would gladly assassinate an Emperor for the cost of a life, that didn't matter to her on the grand sheme of restoring the Galactic Empire once more.

"The High Moff has, indeed, been quite successful, the whole sector and its hundreds of systems are now unified under his personal rule. The control of such a region, by these Imperialists, presented an interesting moment. The Emperor recalled that a certain Mandalorian clan controlled that area of space before they all left, for reasons unknown. It must have been a tempting opportunity for Torkan, considering what was known in terms of the events going on with this Diarchy and the rebels that the High Moff was dealing with.
With some formalities given, Nicademus moves onto the purpose of this mission. The Emperor was rather curious as to why and what was wanted. So, what can the Empire do for its fellow Imperials, Mister Savit-Torkan? Certainly, with control of Corporate Space, your needs are well ensured by the resources of that region. So I am rather curious as to why you were brought here, so far away from the Diarchy's realm.

"You, my lord, control the other end of the Hydian way"Said the younger man. "We wish trade to be resumed as it was under the Executive Directorship Board's rule, without any restrictions. And, also, for the assets and delegations of the greater companies headquartered within your territory -like Kuat Drive Yards or Sienar-, that once formed part of the CSA, to remain untouched and their bussiness on our domain, unimpeded"
The man tried to talk very calmly; he looked composed. "Also, it is our intention, if you were to allow it, to establish a permanent trade and diplomatic delegation on Coruscant proper, to mantain a permanent and direct liaison between both our governments. A resident embassador of the Diarchy, lord Nicademus" He looks at Nicademus, trying to read his face."The High Moff thinks it is more benefitial for us both to remain in good terms, for our regimes have many things in common"

"The High Moff thinks it is more benefitial for us both to remain in good terms, for our regimes have many things in common" There wasn't much to think about. So the Emperor's reply came rather immediate after Ahmet finished. The Corporate Sector was built on the investment of many prominent companies. You won't have any issue with the Empire interfering with such business and investment. To remove even one company would shake the foundation and that is something I have no intention of doing. The Imperial's words were sincere in that matter. Companies had to make their money and those named, by Ahmet, were among those that likely had millions, if not billions, of credits invested into the Corporate Sector. Any company, that the Empire interfered with, would risk losing those investments and so would the Diarchy at the same time.Trade is very important. There is only one major hyperlane that links the Diarchy with the Core. Taris, as well as the rest of the Empire, will certainly benefit from the other end of the hyperlane being secure now. Control of the Hydian Way, under Imperials, will make it very rich.Onto the matter of a permanent Diarchy delegation. The Emperor, momentarily, gestures out the way Ahmet came.As you can see out there, there are many other delegations that have a long term presence on Coruscant. Its revived status, in the galaxy, has brought hundreds, if not thousands, to resume a diplomatic presence to some degree. The High Moff is welcomed to establish a liaison on the Imperial Center. Its presence is a good measure for future relations.Nicademus seemed agreeable with all the terms stated. He had no reason to disagree otherwise.I suspect all of these agreements will help rebuild the war-torn sector and build a new image for it within the galaxy. It's an arduous task in rebuilding something... I remember when I saw the ravaged world of Muunilinst, destroyed by Mandalorian fanatics. Coruscant was no better... the scars of the reckless attack were blights upon its beauty. I have no doubt that the High Moff will see the sector reborn under the Diarchy.

TaggeCo, Sienar, KDY. There were but a few of the now-First Order controlled companies. All of them had important interests and extensive properties in the CSA, where they obtained a part of their supplies and a significant revenue. And if they withdrew their investments, the Diarchy's economy would plummet like a ship without engines.
"You might rest assured. The whole Hydian Way is now in the hand of Imperials, none of the despicable brigands who defile the Galaxy shall defile that control"
He said, brazenly.
"No wonder, my lord. Coruscant is the Galaxy's true heart, craddle of civilization. We will gladly have a foot in this world, where many of us have been born and lived"
The young man made a pause.
"If your lordship wanted, we would accept the establishment of one of your embassadors in our Sector again. The High Moff would prepare the former building of the old Empire's embassy to house yours"

Nicademus could tell that Ahmet was quite the speaker. It was no wonder why he had been chosen to be delegate to the Empire.
Once these negotiations are over, I will speak with the trading guilds and our own Imperial Economic Administration. Charters will be drawn up ensure business is sent further down the Hydian Way, beyond Taris. By the end of the month, trade from the Empire should be flowing into the Diarchy's domain.
It would require some moves here and there, but the IEA was ably run and the trading guilds were eager for new places to make a profit. The Corporate Sector would certainly present an opportunity that many would jump upon. Not to mention the businesses would be pleased with the relations made.
I will send an emissary from the Diplomatic Corps. My administration will draw up good candidates in the next few days and a decision will be made by the end of the week on who to send. I want to make sure I send someone as good as who was sent by the Diarchy.
The Emperor compliments before motioning to the doorway as the Imperial walks that way.
I have heard that the High Moff's fellow Diarch is a Near-Human Inquisitor. You seem to have quite the interesting characters in your ranks.

You seem to have quite the interesting characters in your ranks. "I am thankful, my lord. That will increase the prosperity of the sector tenfold, to the times before the war and the fall of the CSA"
Said the embassador. "My uncle and sovereign, the High Moff, will ensure any trader and bussinessman or bussinesswoman coming from the First Order's territories shall be favored over anyone else. While the representatives of treacherous rebel worlds shall be restricted in their dealings on our domain and the resources within"
He added. Many of the Corporate Sector's planets weren't inhabited, they were simply rich in many resources: that's why they were colonized in the very first place by various corporations in the waning days of the Republic. "I will send communication to High Moff Atash to prepare the Imperial embassy's building in the earnest, for whoever you chose to fulfill that role, lord Nicademus"Ahmet nods and follows the Emperor to the doorway, making sure his mantle is in place and doesn't interfere with his movements. "She is. Quite a formidable woman, I must say. A force to be reckoned. Yes, it's a colorful assortment of individuals, all adherents of the New Order"
