Picas looked down at his attire. Though a little marked in areas, it still shone the brilliant white of a Jedi Historian and was decorated in golden patterns. He nodded. "I am a Jedi Historian. I've spent most of my Jedi life accumulating and correcting information in the archives on Dantooine. If you need a temple then I may have some ideas..."
He paused politely while newcomers arrived. The Jedi had never seen a S'Kytri and was in awe at the sight of one right in front of him. He made a mental note to ask it questions later; he had to find out about their culture and attitude to the universe; it was an opportunity that could not be missed. He nodded to each of them, and frowned at the droid, but made no assumptions. This would be an interesting group, it seemed.
"There are a few places I can think of that may be of some help to you, but you run the risk of alerting the galaxy to your presence. Some of the lesser-known temples would be the hidden island on Ahch-to, the very first Jedi Temple which I believe is unused currently. Perhaps Utapua? That would provide a decent obscure hiding place while the Jensaarai rebuild. Dathomir is also an interesting one, but I don't think the locals would tolerate your presence much... There are more besides... do you want me to draw up a list?"

Zed had agreed and Picas began noting possible planets of interest. Though he hadn't mentioned it at the start, there was a problem with some of the potential locations. It was something he thought would be a challenge, but not an insurmountable one. He had taken Wyt's datapad, much to the young Nautolan's chagrin, and listed everything that came to his mind. There was a total of ten possible planets, three of them had a line through them, denoting them as unsuitable. Another two had a question mark beside them, indicating Picas thought they may be relevant but they did not contain much for a budding new order. The final five had comments underneath them.
"We have Utapua as my first choice. It is not a tourist hot-spot and has no major resource that would make it a hot-spot for governments, authorities and corporations. The terrain makes it really easy to hide there, so if we want to stay hidden I would suggest here."
He paused. "Dathomir is one of my top five, but only because of its interesting Force cults that call the planet home. It would be a challenging but rewarding place to call home, however there is a Dark Side group of what they call 'witches', named the Nightsisters, which may cause us problems."
"The next one is one you may not have heard of before. I have only read it in once article dating back from the Jedi Civil War, nearly three thousand years ago. It's a planet called Ahch-To, apparently it was very important to the Jedi Order in its early days. Material that mentions it is frustratingly hard to come by, and as far as I'm away no one actually knows where it is. It could be anywhere. It's a start, at least, but it's not much of a one."
He put the datapad on the table. "There are others. Why don't you have a read and let me know what you think?"

Zed was silent as he picked up the datapad and began to read the projected planets.
While this was happening the S'kytri which had walked in earlier stretched out his wings before standing up from the table to speak. Giving Zed a run for his credits the blue skinned alien stood at an even seven feet tall and was one of the tallest in the room after Zed. Tall thin and beautiful he wore a red brigandine that contrasted his blue skin and brought out the amber in his eyes. Those amber eyes looked down both figuratively and literally on those around him. The ground walkers, besides a marked few had yet to speak words and were happy to follow any crowd including this one. He was here for one reason and one reason alone. To hone his powers.
Why should we hide on any of these planets. If it is your wish to rebuild, word of this meeting could have spread. Indeed I would be surprised if it had not already. We should be open about our group, and vocal. We want the numbers to build to rival other groups like the Jedi, of any of the Imperial groups.
Looking up from his reading the Shifter fixed the blue alien
We don't have the numbers to reveal ourselves to the galaxy at large. Right now, officially its just me, if you want to put your name in you will follow me and my word. Trust me when I say if we reveal ourselves to early it will be our downfall. I like the idea of finding Ahch-To. If it is lost to the galaxy at large then no one will be looking for us there and we can potentially find unknown knowledge.
He did not care for the way the young man was speaking to him. He knew little of their species and had never encountered one in person. On the few holovids he had seen they all had the same arrogant look in their eyes.
Master Jedi I don't imagine you would have by chance seen any word of it while you on Dantooine? If not we will have to seek out other ways to find it.

Picas watched the exchange with interest, but did not interfere. This seemed to be the very first test of authority, and he thought Zed handled it well; not aggressive, but definitely firm and without any chance of misinterpreting the words. The Historian had seen worse leaders in his time, and thought that the future of the Jensaarai would be exciting. He agreed with Zed about the need to be subtle, but did not voice this agreement, and only spoke when the focus was brought back to potential base locations.
He shrugged. "It's like I said, I had only come across the term once when I was researching the Jedi Civil War, and it was a passing comment at best. If this world is what you choose, then I will accompany you in your quest to find it. Finding the origins of the Jedi would make this Historian a very happy Jedi."
Picas paused, knowing that the first step would have to come from him. How would they find it? Where would they find clues? "I'm not sure where to begin. I doubt official Jedi sources will have much more information, and the Archives on Dantooine have been destroyed by the First Order. Perhaps they would have taken a copy? We could attempt to steal the data back from the First Order, but that would be incredibly dangerous. We could contact information brokers to see if they could help? Perhaps visit other places that were once kept secret by the Empire. The Maw, for example? Perhaps that secret installation will have mention of Ahch-To? I am not sure how to proceed at this point."

The S'kytri cowed for the moment sat back down, and the if the droid housing the Shard could emote everyone would see the smug look on its face.
Are you sure about that? The Jedi of this age are, or were fractured with each Order hoarding its knowledge. I can think of a few Jedi temples that might house some clue. If they dont work out then the hidden worlds might be our best bet.
Zed had a world in mind, something completely different than the one they were on now. If Geonosis was a dead world, orange and dusty then the world he wanted was young and alive. Its forests teeming with life, its waters holding untold wonders. Its temples previously housing the most proud and knowledgeable of the Jedi.
There is a world that was hit hard when the Mandalorians attacked the force users that might be able to help us find a trail. Yavin Four.
He let the words sit a moment. Any of the more classically trained force users would have heard tales of the Yavin temple. Originally hosting Luke Skywalkers Jedi academy the place would eventually come into the hands of Master Dav Man'Sell where he nurtured the Jedi and helped train many of the great names the universe knew today. Had it not been for the Mandalorians assault on the world Zed felt that world would still host many a Jedi. Now though it sat an empty radioactive husk waiting for someone to fill its halls once more.
Its archives were nothing compared to Ossuss or Coruscant but its out here in the Outer Rims and should hopefully be safe.
It struck him as odd that many of the Orders greatest worlds were reduced to what they were now. The Galaxy was out of balance with some many wars that to many worlds Jedi and Sith and become targets. It forced them onto the backwaters like Felucia and Umgul. It forced Zed and the Jensaarai to the hidden world of Ahch-To

Picas nodded repeatedly as Zed explained his plan. He certainly wasn't wrong, that much the Historian could say without fear. There may be a chance that another, splinter Jedi Order had mention of Ahch-To.
He winced at the mention of Yavin, though. Much to his shame, he did not come to the aid of the Jedi on Yavin. The New Dantooine Jedi decided to watch, be cautious, and wait. He hadn't realised it then, but he and the other Masters had been simply repeating mistakes of millennia past, when the council stood by and allowed - ironically - the Mandalorian Wars to wage unchecked.
The Historian did not want to go to Yavin. It would be a difficult experience, but it was one that he must have. "There is no passion, there is serenity."
He looked to Wyt, who had been silent while Zed and he conversed. It would be good to show Wyt the danger of the Force out of balance. The death, destruction and chaos that comes when one side becomes too powerful. He had explained this to him, but the young Jedi needed to experience it.
"It's a good start. Perhaps we will find the data there, or perhaps the Force will show us what we all need to see."
Picas looked around. "I have a ship; she fits six, seven at a push. How many are we?"
He counted himself, Wyt, the former admiral Jensen, Zed, Viktor, the winged being from the species known as S'kytri and the mechanical creation. "I see seven exactly. Have I missed anyone out?"

He knew where Wyt got it from at least. The knowledge of the Jedi code. Zed could feel the reluctance to return to Yavin, he felt the same way about the place he once considered home. A home he would never allow himself to see again. At the word of a ship there was some murmuring from those around the table, and one of the members seated got up and left. Whatever order the Admiral had been following for being here leaving the planet was not in those orders. Zed was sad to see the man leave, it was one less member for the Jensaarai.
I have one thing to attend while I am here in the city.
Once again his mind wandered towards the vision of the child he had seen. He wondered what it meant, it would be something he would need to look into sooner rather than later.
Anyone who wants to come go to the ship tomorrow morning?
Zed of course would go. He was unsure of the others but was confident that some present would show.
Master Dicas do you have anything that could counteract the radiation present at the temple?
If he did not then the group would need to pick some up before landing on the planet.

Picas watched the officer get up and leave. He was saddened, but not necessarily surprised. Talking theory and adventure was one thing, actually putting oneself in harm's way was another. It was a blessing in disguise, he supposed; only those truly ready to put their lives on the line would be useful to the Jensaarai order. Especially once their presence was known in the universe. Picas had no doubts that they would become targets.
The Jedi Historian nodded. "It is decided, then. Anyone who wants to journey with us will meet at bay twenty-three just on the outskirts of the market at sunrise."
Picas thought through the equipment manifesto on his new ship. He shook his head. "No, unfortunately not. I don't think it will be hard to get some personal shields for the radiation. I'll ask around at the market tonight."

Drez walked through the market set up in the middle of the old Geonosian hive. The market sold a variety of consumer products: food, raw materials, blasters, launchers, drones, etc. He needed to find a reliable source to import food to Kamino continuously from, and it seemed that the people who run the marketplace could help out. He needed to buy food in huge bulks as he literally had a whole army to feed on Kamino.
Drez remembered a mission back during the Clone Wars when he infiltrated a droid factory, he needed to take a detour through one of the hives. He remembered the nasty bugs coming at him from all directions, trying to pull him away as food. Fortunately for him, he was able to fend them off with a vibrosword. Geonosians were terrible at combat, so they were an easy foe. Thankfully, the hive was now cleared out and Geonosians were pretty much considered extinct.
Drez picked up and examined a DL-44 blaster. Unimpressed by it, he placed it back. He felt the DC-15s sidearm pistols he had in his holsters were better. It even suited his armor design and combat style more and even felt and looked more modern. He then examined a random unknown instrument; something he hadn't seen before. “What the hell is this supposed to be?” Drez wondered under his breath as he tinkered with the device a bit before returning it.
Drez then noticed a huge bulk of food up for sale. He needed to buy many crates of food, so he asked the person who seemed to be running the shop. “How much is it it for a crate of food?”
The Kaminoans had provided him with seemingly an endless amount of credits, so the price wasn't really that much of a deal for him. He just wanted to get the best deal, even if he had to negotiate a bit. Besides, he was going to be spending a lot. So a few credits saved here could be spent there.

It was near the change of shift time for the local hive, meaning that most of the locals were either getting ready to head into work, or anxiously watching the clock in order to leave for the day. This in turn meant that the vast tunnel systems usually swarming with the insectoids were nearly vacant. Of course, only a few bothered to wander out far enough into the hangers to buy. Usually it was the offworlders that were either visiting or lived here that were stopping by. It was not nearly what they had been hoping for, given the raw population of the planet, but it was still enough to consider the stop a profitable one.
Then the trooper in the all but ancient clone trooper armor wandered in asking about the bulk rates for food. The seller in question was expecting a whole lot, likely the person was a party goer of some type & was looking to hook up the party with lots of cheep food. Unfortunately, the price per crate was fairly high, only slightly lower than would be expected of buying smaller packages to equal the same amount of food. He did, of course, mention that larger orders resulted in progressively lower individual prices. He really doubted that the visitor would take him up on the offer, but it was a well ingrained habit to mention it.

Drez examined the amount of food available for sale. Though it seemed plenty, it was nowhere near enough to feed hundreds of thousands of troopers. He would need much more food, and with a quick calculation, he concluded he would probably need at least 600,000 pounds of food.
"I'm going to need a lot more food, and I mean a lot more." Drez told the merchant. "Let's say enough food to feed at least a few million people."
Drez knew that it would cost a fortune to purchase and transport the food. His shuttle wouldn't be capable of transporting this abundant amount of foodbat once anyways, though he had another idea that had just popped up in his head. An idea that might be a bit more expensive, but he could transport a higher quantity of, rather than weight, at the same time.
"Do you, by chance, have any powdered food? You know, the powder you put into liquid and it turns into food." Drez asked the merchant. If the market possessed this product, it would make transporting the task so much easier.

It took the merchant a moment to fully register the amount of food the random outsider requested. If the offer was serious, he would shortly be a very, very rich being.
-Merchant That powdered stuff will kill you. Not very tasty either. We have a much better option, if you are serious about the order. It will, of course, require a fairly hefty payment up front. Will this be a recurring order? Or just a one time lump?
The merchant took a moment to explain that Imperium had super freighter sized ships that served as mobile farmlands. Each one could provide massive amounts of fresh food, both vegetable & animal. Of course, the merchant didn't own one himself, but he knew several that did. With the up front fees in hand, he could convince them to relocated to wherever the food supplies were needed. If the customer backed out then, at least they had the trip out there & back covered. If the customer went through with the deal however, the merchant would receive a sizable finder's cut.

"Well, so much for the idea of powdered food." Drez muttered under his breath. He the took a moment to think of the idea of a mobile farm. The farm would make the task of importing food and exporting waste on and off Kamino much more easier. The station would hardly go anywhere as well since it would literally be in the planet's orbit. The cost would be high, but at least food would be provided to the troopers. It would be worth every single credit spent.
"It does seem like a much better idea to have a mobile farm." Drez thought out loud as he was seriously considering this starcruiser farm idea. Food would always be available; real food, not ration bars. He then wanted to see one of these ships, to get an idea of the size and production rate of the ship. "Do you mind showing me examples of these ships?" Drez asked the merchant, implying that he was agreeing with the idea.

The merchant shrugged & stood silently for a long moment, apparently interact with his suit systems. The hologram that spung into existance in front of him was obviously the ring section of the Lucrehulk cargo ship, though the central bulb had been removed.
-Merchant Main body is nearly three kilometers across. Not the fastest design in either hyperspace or real space, but it doesn't usually need speed. Just one of these babies can feed about fifty million people, indefinitely. Of course, if you want more variety & any meats, that number will drop.

Drez examined the holographic image of the ship. It was a huge ship alright. However, he immediately knew that this ship would be the perfect food source for the Kaminoan army when he mentioned how many could be fed. The ship could feed 50 million, and there were just a few million troopers present on Kamino. The food would be available in an abundant supply, even if there was some food variety.
"Alright then, this ship seems up to the task. I'm going to need one of these. How much will it cost?" Drez confirmed the order. He just needed to know the price, although the Kaminoans had provided him with pretty much an infinite amount of credits, so the price didn't matter.

-Merchant Difficult to say. It depends on which captain you get & the particular mix you want delivered.
If they needed just one ship, that would cut into his hopeful profits, but it would still be a nice haul. Then again, with that small of a need, a single ship would be able to provide a wide variety of food.
-Merchant If you want, I can set up a meeting with one of the captains.

Drez didn't even hesitate for a single second. "Alright, let's meet one of the captains then and get this deal over the line." He immediately replied.
The price really didn't matter to him. He wasn't paying from his own money anyways. He just needed a little bit of variety in the food, and for the food to be of decent quality. Of course, ration bars provided all the sufficient nutrients necessary for the human body, but it was bland and boring to eat every single day. Even though the food was to feed troopers, they still deserved at least decent quality food, or some food variety.

Unfortunately, such a meeting would be extremely rare for conducting over comms array. Most of the captains out this far tended to be extremely old fashioned. That meant that most of the real deals got cut face to face. For getting there, the merchant was willing to give the troopers a lift out to one of the meeting points. Or they could be given a coordinate set used for temporary meetings if they had their own ship.

Drez stared at the merchant confusingly, though his facial expression was hidden behind his helmet. He had assumed that the captain would be on the planet itself, or at least in Geonosis' orbit. Now, it seemed that he was going to have to travel in space, again, much to his dismay. He wasn't too fond of space travel because it was boring to him. However, he thoroughly enjoyed space combat and dogfights.ppp
After exhaling, he replied while slightly holding up his hand. "No, that won't be necessary. I've got my own ship." He was referring to the offer of the merchant giving him a lift to one of the food production ships. "If you can just give me the coordinates, that'll be just fine."
