Picas watched the officer get up and leave. He was saddened, but not necessarily surprised. Talking theory and adventure was one thing, actually putting oneself in harm's way was another. It was a blessing in disguise, he supposed; only those truly ready to put their lives on the line would be useful to the Jensaarai order. Especially once their presence was known in the universe. Picas had no doubts that they would become targets.
The Jedi Historian nodded. "It is decided, then. Anyone who wants to journey with us will meet at bay twenty-three just on the outskirts of the market at sunrise."
Picas thought through the equipment manifesto on his new ship. He shook his head. "No, unfortunately not. I don't think it will be hard to get some personal shields for the radiation. I'll ask around at the market tonight."
Viktor stayed silent while listening to Zed and the Jedi Historian speak, Viktor wanted to scout out a spot he had heard about from Dalton, It was a meeting place of sorts. A place where a few friends of friends of Dalton's liked to stay while they weren't running around the galaxy. Viktor decided that having connections to all sorts of people would be a good thing for them. That way there was a way for them to gather information on things happening around the galaxy without revealing themselves until they wanted to. Viktor turned to the door and began to walk out but stopped to speak to the group. "There are a few things I would like to do before joining you on Yavin."

Viktor left the room and made his way back down to Captain Dalton and The Redeemer. Viktor planned on visiting a smuggler's bar hidden away on Rishi, he hopped that people there had some star charts that may help led them to Ahch-To. Even if they only had partially completed star charts, combined with any information that they gather on Yavin would most likely help them discover the location of the planet. Viktor decided to take a shortcut back to the ship by cutting through a marketplace, it would shave off about ten to fifteen minutes.

Viktor arrived at the hanger which housed The Redeemer. Once aboard he made his way to Captain Dalton to inform him of their next destination.
"Captain, set a course for Rishi. We require some information."
Right away sir.
With The Redeemer exited the hanger and made its way into the Planet's orbit. Dalton knew exactly where Viktor wanted to go to on Rishi, a Smuggler's hideaway. Whatever the information that he wanted must been pretty important to risk revealing his new order. He however would not question it as he and his crew were getting paid no matter where they went. Viktor left Dalton in the cockpit and headed to his cabin to meditate on the meeting that just transpired and the events that were still to come.

Stalgasin Hive - Geonosis. Fighters streaked overhead as the droids, foot soldiers and walkers marched upon Stalgasin Hive, the capital of the arid world of Geonosis. Since the Organization's arrival, the Geonosians had largely ignored the massing ground force. The odd scouting party had attempted to poke at the perimeter of the Organization's LZ, though they were met with a quick end. While not looking to start a war, The Organization needed Geonosis. Especially if what they had planned next was going to come to fruition. As Organization Assault Troopers entered the room that currently housed the Archduke, a Centurion soldier stepped forward and tossed a holoprojector onto the floor. Springing to life, an image of The Illusionist appeared."What is the meaning of this? Who are you and why do you march your troops through our settlements?" asked the Geonosian with a series of clicks following.Smirking, The Illusionist lit his cigarette, and stuffed his right hand into his pocket, while exhaling slowly.Who I am is of no consequence to you. Those whom I represent wish to strike a deal with the Geonosian Monarchy. A deal that is too good to pass up.Fluttering his wings in annoyance, the Archduke retorted quickly."The Monarchy has managed to remain neutral and self sufficient enough to avoid conflict in a galaxy overflowing with it. What could you possibly offer us that we do not already possess?"Inhaling a drag from his cigarette, The Illusionist exhaled slowly, eyeing up the Geonosian before him.I have no desire to overrule your neutrality. Nor do I wish to bring you any unnecessary conflict. What I am proposing is a partnership and an alliance to help maintain your neutrality as well as bolster your economy. We offer you our considerable military might, along with a fleet of warships, in exchange for your economic support. And while we prefer a peaceful resolution here, we are prepared to find someone who will support this alliance...Watching the Geonosian closely, The Illusionist could tell that Zullsel was thinking it over. Typically a coward in the face of conflict, the current Archduke was the preferred leader that The Organization wished to keep in power, however they already had several successors lined up, should Gul refuse. The Archduke, however, raised a hand to his chin."And what do you get out of this partnership, exactly? Your offer is generous, but I must consider what is best for my people.Pulling his hand from his pocket, The Illusionist swiped something from an unseen screen and tossed it up beside him on the hologram. Images of The Organization's ships, droid, troops and weapons could be seen, along with the schematics to the familiar skeletal B1 Battle Droids.By allowing us access to your economy, your engineers will be put to work, both in our current factories as well as yours here. And upon a satisfactory resolution here, I can discuss with you further, future developments. Rest assured, The Organization takes care of its allies. As he finished speaking, all the Organization troops in the room raised their weapons, awaiting the final order from the Illusionist. The Archduke shifted uncomfortably, thinking quickly. With a sigh of resignation, he spoke."...the foundries of the Geonosian Monarchy are at your disposal."The holoprojector that was displaying The Illusionist sprouted spindly legs and began to walk towards the Archduke.A wise decision, Archduke. Good to see you are a reasonable sort.Waving his troops to stand down, The Illusionist smirked and pulled another drag off of his cigarette. Exhaling slowly, his blue eyes flashed in the direction of the Geonosian."Come, let's have a chat. We have a few details we need to discuss..."

Stagasin Hive - Geonosis A TC-SC Infiltration Droid, appearing as The Illusionist, strode down one of the halls with Archduke Gul Zullsel, the Geonosian Archduke and current leader of the Geonosian Monarchy. In two weeks, we have managed to pull your economy out of a recession, provide work for your native born companies and reactivate several former Confederacy workshops. Your world's economy is now booming, due to your choices, Archduke. The Archduke's wings fluttered behind him before he spoke."Indeed. You held true to your promise. With Organization support, we have accomplished in weeks, what much larger economies cannot do in years. You've opening up trade with several companies, and all businesses on Geonosis are operating at 100% capacity. And for that, you have my eternal gratitude."As the two continued to walk down the halls, The Illusionist motioned to several screens of statistics that appeared before him.Information is power, Archduke. And we have plenty of information. Though, something has been brought to my attention. A faction, supporting neutrality and unity among neutral star systems is beginning to stir on Onderon, according to my sources. And while it has garnered some interest, our projections predict it will collapse in on itself within three standard months. Normally we wouldn't be concerned about it, but given the potential of this neutral faction, and the doors it could open for both The Organization and the Geonosian Monarchy, it would be a mistake to leave this idea to its own devices. I want you to gather your entourage and head to Onderon. Join this group and offer them whatever they need to help get themselves up on their feet. By aiding them, your economy continues to grow, and by allying with them, you retain your independence and neutrality, but gain allies willing to support and back you in your time of need.Pausing mid stride, the Archduke casts a long glance at The Illusionist, clearly considering his options."You haven't lead us astray yet. And the results you have promised us has exceeded expectations. I will do as you ask."Good. Two things. By the time you return, we will be ready to unveil a project we've been working on as a gift for the Monarchy. And we will have eyes on you the entire time. As I have previously stated, The Organization takes care of its allies. We have no intentions of sending an ally such as yourself into a potentially dangerous situation without support. If you need anything, do not hesitate to ask.Bowing graciously, the Archduke righted himself and strode off in preparation to leave, The Illusionist watching as he went with a small smirk.

Archduke Gul Zullsel had gathered up his entourage and the few crates of supplies needed, as well as a sample of The Organization's technology, and loaded it up on to a Arctodus-Class Heavy Transport. Once fully loaded and prepped, the OSV Galvanizer was cleared to launch. Leaving the dusty hangar floor of the Hive, the ship accelerated skyward once it was clear of the bay and proceeded up into orbit...

As The Organization secured it's hold on Geonosis, allowing the Geonosian Monarchy to publicly remain in power as to avoid any suspicions, stationary ground defenses were constructed. At Stalgasin Hive, the capital of Geonosis, a W-165 Planetary Turbolaser had been constructed to aid in its defense. Along with this, three Guardian-Class Shield Generators were purchased and installed at key locations around Stalgasin Hive to ensure it was sufficiently defended in times of need. True to his promise, all of the defensive upgrades done to Stalgasin Hive were done as a gift to the Monarchy, indicating that The Organization did in fact, take care of and even value it's allies.

Even though Archduke Gul Zullsel was presently off-world, the Geonosian Monarchy continued its rule of the planet unopposed. The Organization supported the Monarchy's rule and provided science teams, researchers and even soldiers to ensure the Monarchy remained in power. Because Geonosis was one of the few economical hub worlds privately under the control of The Organization, it would be zealously defended should the need arise. However, because The Illusionist and The Organization in general opted to remain in the shadows and allow the Monarchy to publicly rule, no one would suspect anything was amiss. Which was exactly how The Illusionist preferred to run things. Out of sight, out of mind.

Organization operations on Geonosis continued as scheduled. Despite the Archduke being away on Onderon to conduct business, things continued to run smoothly. The Baktoid Workshops that had been reopened at the behest of the Organization continued to provide anything and everything their customers needed. And the local Geonosian businesses continued to do the same, ensuring that Geonosis remained to valuable to attack directly for no reason.

The Organization's operations on Geonosis continued unhindered. Stalgasin Hive was bustling with activity. Baktoid continued to provide weapons and droids for its customers, while the local Geonosian businesses continued to provide for both their people and those customers that sought out their goods. Soon, hopefully the Archduke would return, concluding his business on Onderon.

Baktoid continued to provide its products for both the Geonosian Moarchy as well as The Organization, and the rest of the galaxy as needed. The Organization's vested interest in Geonosis was quiet for the time being, but that didn't mean they weren't there. The Geonosian Monarchy, however, served as the more public figurehead on the planet and to the rest of the universe, with Archduke Gul Zullsel as its head.

As news of an alliance with the Onderonian Federation reached the rest of the Geonosian Monarchy, and orders for shipments of battle droids from the Federation came through from the Director of Special Operations, Baktoid began putting together the shipments. The Organization, meanwhile, continued to ensure the safety of the Monarchy here on Geonosis.

Changes were on the galactic horizon. A shift in balances and alignments. Though that mattered little to The Organization and it mattered even less to the Geonosian Moarachy that ruled over Geonosis. Publicly, it was the independent Monarchy that ruled Geonosis, however they were merely a puppet, their strings being pulled by the much shadier and less known Organization. And entrusted to direct The Organization in the shareholders best interest as well as follow the company motto, so to speak, The Illusionist directed the Organization where he saw fit. Backed by public and private investors, corporations and businesses, The Organization functioned out of necessity. And one of those necessities was controlling the production of Battle Droids, at least on Geonosis, and directing sales and support to whatever supported The Organization's ultimate end goal. Still unable to fully operate out in the open, the Monarchy continued to be the face for The Organization on Geonosis.

A mechanical whir sounded as interlocking gizmos inside the SD-K4 assassin droid purred as the Fabricator General stroked the top of his chassis, causing several of the miniature metal arachnids inside to vie over the attention of his fingers, jockeying for position atop his fire blackened dome. The Professor leaned into the displayed affection and even vented puffs of scalding steam from its joints as it made obvious its place in the pecking order, before the gathered droid commanders. It was the static laced synthetic tone of Commander Beelzebub that broke the tension first, currently the furthest away from the stewing Demon of Hypori, thus also perhaps the safest. That will not be necessary, Forge Master. Said the Super Tactical droid somewhat tacitly. Updating. Of the other droids gathered, whose photo-receptors had turned positively green with envy at Arachnus, they seemed to briefly freeze. Suddenly their glowing lenses went dark, then flashed back on, as though they had all been rebooted. Even the Professor paused beneath the Red Sage's attention as he to received an update. In the far corner of the room, the FLTCH-series droid Titanicus snorted to itself. :: Tickles. :: It's vocabulator boomed.Update complete. Stated Beelzebub. New battle strategy formulated. The Felstorm is moving into position for an orbital drop. Which was obvious, as the walls and ceiling around them shook as the massive star pyramid floating over the ripped open hive began to rise higher into the sky. In its place, C-9979s of the Dark Fleet could be seen swooping in, carrying more equipment and materials as every available effort was being made to rebuild and fortify the hive, now that it was under Eternal control. For his part, Arachnus led his master back outside the hive. Based on his own calculations, they had just enough time to launch their attack on the Stalgasin Hive, crush it thoroughly, and then return to be there for the birth of the new Geonosian Queen growing in the old queen's womb. Upon reaching the debris strewn gorge that reeked of freshly formed glass, a modified Hyena-class droid fighter was waiting for them. It shared the same signature black as the rest of the spider-gear produced by the dark forge, featuring a droid socket where traditionally the bombers head would be located. Like a mechanical jumping spider, the Professor hopped off the ground and landed on the fuselage of the bomber, quickly easing himself into his prearranged place. His circular chassis protruded, much like the Hyena droid's head would have. In the second position where a static secondary head was typically located, the bomb bay had been hollowed out to create an encapsulated seat, creating with Valefor's girthsome dimensions in mind."Your chariot awaits, Master." Shrieked Arachnus excitedly. "We'll return to the Felstorm's hangar and drop onto the battlefield from high orbit. The Dark Fleet is already moving the rest of the Legios into position for the final assault." With his forces once more reminded of who they served and their place in all things, Valefor had taken some time to re-examine the runic circles carved into the ground beneath the floating Queen. Fel Magic flowed through them from everything around and within, channelling life force away from the survivors and those yet to be born and directing it to forming the new Queen. With his review done, he had headed to the surface with Arachnus and taken a seat within the modified Hyena Droids second seat before the Professor had taken off up to meet the Felstorm as it rose above the surface of Geonosis.
Arriving into one of the two massive hangar bays that ran the length of the Felstorm, Valefor leapt free of the cockpit as the pair of Mech's were unloaded. Several droid models were busy finishing the final assembly on the pair of machines, with a lot more activity happening around the one intended for the Forge Master. A mass of red armour and guns rose from the floorIncredible...His gaze travelled over to the Arachnid Mecha, unsurprised by the Professors chosen form. It appeared a bit more rustic, but no less fearsome. Between the two suits, the Stalgasin Hive would stand no chance, even if some of his commanders might have felt otherwiseOne Hive remains... Let us crush them beneath our boot and deliver a new Forge World...The last few connectors had been secured in and the droid crews were starting to clear out as Valefor made his climb up the Mech and slid into the control seat. The cockpit closed as he started working the controls and powering the suit online...

After the modified Hyena entered the Felstorm's hangar, the Professor mimicked the Fabricator General's actions, quickly emerging from the droid socket to scurry across the bay on eight razor limbed legs, until his arachnid form stood before his own Mech. Valefor's description of the refurbished mountain terrain armored transport was fitting, as the number of soot stained exhaust stacks belching smoke from its backside did indeed give the monstrous carbon scored metal spider a more rustic appearance. Arachnus fired a grapple line at the walker's head, expertly hitting the mark as he winched himself off the floor and up into the cockpit. Unlike the other spider-gear which featured droid-sockets for the SD-K4 assassin to fully integrate its circuits with the vehicle, the MT-AT had more standardized controls, adjusted so that they could be manipulated by Arachnus' many mechanical legs. The view from the cockpit soon went dark as both of their mechs were loaded into separate drop-pods. A hateful red glare banished the darkness from the drop-pod containing the Professor as creeping and crawling metal arachnids emerged from crevasses all across its fire blackened chassis, their spiteful crimson photo-receptors blazing with synthesized ire and scorn. One after the other the drop-pods were picked up by the large hydraulic clamps of the hangar conveyor system lowered into firing chambers. An explosive expulsion of gas preluded the launch of either pod as they were fired towards the planet like deadly ordnance, their armoured hulls wreathed in flame and glowing orange as they picked up speed, accelerating towards the surface.

The travel down from the Felstorm to the surface of Geonosis flashed by rather rapidly. The pair of pods barely slowed down as their descent continued in freefall, with no air brake or parachute system to speak of. It wasn't until they struck the ground near the base of the spire the Stalgasin Hive had chosen for their home, that the pods lost any speed. Debris and plumes of smoke were thrown into the air around the base of the spire, whilst sand was instantly fused into glass.
The drop pod doors burst open thanks to the explosive charges located in the hinges. From the first pod emerged the great red armoured Mech that Valefor piloted. Dual Sustained Turbolaser Cannons peeked out over the suits shoulders, whilst the entire right fore-arm was an Ion Cannon. An equally impressive sword was clenched in the suits left hand. In all, it was a massive red machine of death and it had been set loose upon the Stalgasin Hive. Energy Shields were already powering up as the last Geonosian Hive warriors spilled forth from the Spire.
There was a perceptible buzz in the air as the pair of cannons spun up and charged their capacitors before two solid beams of energy lanced out from the guns and carved through the front line. The tip of the sword was then swung in an arc along the ground, violently turning the unwary into goo. Reinforcements from the Legios Cybernetica were soon pouring over the horizon and down from the Felstorm as the battle was joined. For now, Valefor focused his Mech's attention on tearing apart the swarm, swapping between blade swings and Turbolaser fire. With each swing, glassed sand was sent flying about, creating additional projectiles that the Hive had to try and avoid.
C-9979 gunship refits circled the air above, adding their own hail of laser fire to the battle, focusing their efforts primarily upon the shield that protected the spire. Once the shield dropped, then the battle would be over. For now, it would suffer the assault of the Gunships circling it

Curtains of orange flame and black smoke erupted from the point of impact of the drop pod carrying the Professor, washing the sands in burning chemical residue and boiling the sand beneath it. The front hatch exploded outwards, smashing against the powerful energy barrier protecting the Stalgasin Hive before being flung to the dirt, pulping several unfortunate Geonosians too slow to get out of the way. A grey hazardous haze of potent insecticide wafted from the opening, blackening lungs and causing bugs to become asphyxiated, drowning as their lungs filled with blood. A loud metallic shriek sounded as a thousand crimson photo-receptors blinked to life, followed by a long segmented mechanical leg emerging from the dark, stamping down on stalwart hive warriors as Arachnus manipulated the controls. From out of the dark, Mecha-Arachnus arose, a mass of carbon scored steel and far too many glowing eyes. The modified MT-AT made its presence felt with considerable haste, as repeating blasters mounted on each of the spider-mechs eight legs began to open up, vaporizing scores of insects with insidious blasts of emerald green fire.:: BOW BEFORE ME, INSECTS! :: The spider-mech's speakers boomed deafeningly, bursting eardrums as his shrieking voice carried over the battlefield. :: I AM A Metal Spider GOD! :: Admittedly, the Professor might be a bit...over-enthused. To be fair, he'd never been the size of a building before. A pair of dual linked laser cannons mounted on the MT-AT's chin spat a symphony of instant immolation, glancing against the shield as the spider-mech began to turn, focusing its wrath on the army arraigned against them. Each time those chin cannons barked, vehicles exploded and insect parts scattered, carrying the aroma of burning chitin across the field. From pores in Mecha-Arachnus' abdomen, hundreds of SD-K4 assassins droids emerged, frenzied parodies of the Professor, with just as many of their own spider-children pouring from their own backsides. Razor limbed spiders fought blade to spear against hardened Geonisians Hive Knights, wetting the sands with blood and oil, a fitting offering.Boof! Boof! Boof! Mortar launchers on the spider-mech's back expelled arcing grenades that struck bled contrails of smoke, bursting in sight obscuring clouds that partially served to Arachnus from return fire. In the skies above, the Dark Fleet was already making its presence felt. The horizon filled with fire as Geonosian reinforcements from nearby allied outpost were routed and ruined before they could arrive to assist. Whatever tactical acumen the Hive-Mind posessed, it paled in comparison to the malign viral programming of the Legios Cybernetica.

Given the Professors profound loyalty and stellar record so far, Valefor was willing to allow the Arachnid Droid some leeway for his comments. With the Dark Fleet focused on weakening and bringing down the shields, it meant the Demon Lord's focus needed to be upon squashing as many bugs as he could. A task which would have been significantly more difficult without Arachnus by his side. As long as the Geonosian Forces were falling, that was the important part.
Valefor turned his mech this way and that, crushing through entire units and pieces of armour & artillery, whilst sustained turbolaser beams tore apart the ground. Gouging massive scars upon the land. Bug and Vehicle alike fell to ash or burning hulks. Further shots were fired from the forearm Ion Canon against the shields, in hopes of helping overload and bring the shield down. No doubt the Stalgasin Queen was panicking as the Legios Cybernetica continued to swarm around the Spire and decimate her forces. Once the shield dropped, it would all be over for the Geonosians and then Valefor would strike the Queen down.
Far away at the remnants of the Golbah Hive, he could feel the rapidly forming Queen come into consciousness. Even so young and not even born yet, but her powers were significant. She would be able to sense and feel the war around him, the discourse of those whom were not part of her brood. He wanted her to know what disorder was like, so that she would maintain order. He also promised her that he would be back to greet her soon

Driving hard and fast over the horizon was what appeared to be an endless line of MTTs barreling across the battlefield at full speed, smashing anything in their path with dual linked blaster cannons and their armoured prows, their repulsors squeezing any bugs they rolled over to paste against the Geonosian surface. Pale red, they shared the colours of the Dark Fleet overhead, emblazoned with the hateful brand of the Sith Eternal and the Fabricator General's personal crest. Armoured flanks unlatched and opened, extending racks of folded droid workers, essentially modified B1s stylized after the insects they were now burdened to slaughter across these alien sands. A chorus of buzzing metallic wings rose in pitch to almost match the concentrated turbolaser fire from the Forge Master's mech and Mecha-Arachnus' chin mounted lasers. Between the numerous C-9979s raining death and thunder from high above and the newly unleashed swarms of winged droids, the sky began to darken, utterly obscured as the last piece of the puzzle began to fall into place. An eclipsing shadow fell across the battlefield as the Felstorm maneuvered into place over the Stalgasin Hive, even as the spires peppered the air with flak cannon fire and sonic blasts, striking the potent overlapping shields protecting Shemona's pyramid shaped paramour. Spewing alchemical flame into a bug hole from a flame projector mounted on the head of his spider-mech, the Professor manipulated the controls to crane the MT-ATs head up towards the sky, unmistakably spotting the flag ship.:: Commander Beelzebub! :: Transmitted Arachnus. :: What are you doing? We haven't taken out the air-defense cannon yet! You're too exposed. :: Negative. Replied the Super Tactical Droids synthetic voice. We are carrying out the Forge Master's command. The Legios Cybernetica is Eternal. That's when everything changed. Hovering barely more than a hundred feet above the tallest spire of the Stalgasin Hive, the Felstorm opened up with its arsenal of laser cannons and missile tubes, directing all of the fire directly on top of the energy barrier. Arachnus had to turn the spider-mech's head to avoid being temporarily blinded by the eruption of light. Deafening booms gave way to the sounds of shattered stone as the concentrated fire caused the protective barrier to falter.:: Master! :: Shrieked the Professor in Valefor's ear, scurrying his spider-mech across the field to stand at his demonic lord's side. He extended one of the MT-AT's forelegs towards the smoking hive. :: The shield has fallen! ::

Similar to Arachnus, Valefor had also pulled his own Mech back from the battle as the Felstorm floated into the field and started to rain down fire upon the Hive forces and the Spire shields. There was something both satisfying and amusing about watching the interaction between Arachnus and Beelzebub. The Former expressing concern about the Felstorms proximity to the Spire, more so out of concern for the Ship and the Library within. Meanwhile the latter was very much taking to the devil-may-care attitude that Valefor's earlier orders had inspired. The truth of the matter was that each and every single one of these droids was expendable. Some of the more unique ones had backup copies made before a mission to ensure the most up to date version could be restored to a new body.
He activated the Mech's viewport controls then, causing it to take on a black tint to lessen the near blinding effect caused by the rain of ordinance that came down from the Felstorm. Once the storm had passed, the viewport deactivated the shading and provided a clear view of the Spire as smoke was blown away in the wind. He stared out at the now defenceless Hive, ripe for the picking. Battle Droids and their heavy armour were busy still fighting off the front line of Geonosians that had not been incinerated during the breaking of the shield. The Crimson Lord smiled as he raised his sword into a ready position :: Fantastic work. Now, so to shall the Spire fall! :: He pushed the Mech forward, the footfalls crushing enemy forces beneath them as Valefor guided his massive suit toward the enemy base. Sustained Turbolaser beams shot out, creating furrows in the ground and marking out something of a path toward the Spire. He drew the sword backward in the approach, waiting until the last moment to swing the mass around and forward. The edge of the blade smashed into the spire and then continued on through it, cleaving the structure asunder.
