BX3 Black-Wing MK II Starfighter

Built at the Dromund Kalakar Shipyards and inspired by the BX1 Black-Wing Starfighter, the MK II of that line was crafted with minor tweaks and slight overall improvements over the first design. While still favoring a multi-purpose starfighter and attempting to match some of Incom's more successful X-Wing designs, the Black-Wing MK II boasts four laser cannons that offered single, dual or quad firing modes. The proton torpedo launcher remained, though it was upgraded to a dual launcher with quick-change magazine options, allowing the MK II the ability to utilize a multitude of secondary ordinance. While still utilizing an astromech slot and proper shielding, other upgrades and refinements included the installation of an advanced targeting system and a self-destruct mechanism, preventing the fighter from falling into enemy hands.
