OssusOssus, originally called Idux whilst under the control of Xim's empire, was the third planet in the Adega system in the Auril sector. Known to the galaxy since before 25,000 BBY, when the Jedi expanded there from the planet Tython and established a Jedi Academy, Ossus would become a popular world of the Galactic Republic. This world would also become a place of great importance to the Jedi, as the site where they stored the sum of their knowledge, though such attentions came at a price. When the Jedi Knight Exar Kun turned to the dark side and became the Dark Lord of the Sith, catapulting the galaxy into the Great Sith War, he attacked Ossus, desiring Sith secrets hidden by the Jedi. During the events this action incited, the Cron Cluster was detonated, spreading a shockwave around the galaxy. Originally a rich, lush world, Ossus was ravaged into an arid and toxic planet when the wave struck the planet.
Despite it's state, the planet kept it's relevance to the Jedi strong. Later, during the New Republic, Luke Skywalker would reopen the Jedi Academy and make it a headquarters for the New Jedi Order. An attempt was made by one of Luke's descendants, Kol Skywalker, to revive the planet with the Ossus Project, which utilized Vong technology to regenerate it's once lush surface. This project was sabotaged by the One Sith and led to the Imperial-Sith War. Despite the sabotage, Ossus' surface was revived, but not the way the desire result was to be. FondorFondor, was a planet in the Freeworlds Territory of the Tapani sector, famous throughout the galaxy for its extensive orbital shipyards, outclassed only by those at Corellia and Kuat. The Fondor Shipyards were associated with the Techno Union prior to the Clone Wars, and were vast enough to construct major flagships, such as the Executor, Darth Vader's Executor-class Star Dreadnought. The capital city was Fondor City and later Oridin City.
Almost entirely industrialized, Fondor was an ecumenopolis world surrounded by orbital shipyards and drydocks. Its surface was almost totally covered with factories, cooling towers, and workers barracks, as well as mine shafts leading deep into the planet's core and office complexes for the planet's ruling Guild of Starshipwrights.
Owing to extensive automation, Fondor had a relatively small population of 5 billion around the time of the Galactic Civil War. KuatKuat is the fourth planet from the star Kuat, located in the Kuat system of the Kuat sector in the Core Worlds region of the galaxy. Situated on a hyperlane that connected it to Raxxa[8] and Balmorra[9] and less than six parsecs away from Neimoidia, it was a green terrestrial world orbited by two moons named Bador and Ronay.[2] A day on Kuat was 20 standard hours in length, and a year lasted 322 local days. Kuat had standard gravity and a breathable atmosphere, and at 10,000 kilometers in diameter, it was considered a small planet.
The surface of Kuat featured three continents and scattered islands, and most of the world's terrain consisted of lush forests, rolling green plains, and carefully-groomed gardens. The planet had a temperate climate with a cool, wet winter and a warm, dry summer. Hostile animal life was nonexistent on Kuat, as terraformers had stocked the planet with inoffensive herbivores such as drebin, which provided compost for the world's gardens.[11] The introduced species did not overrun the planet due to short life spans and the presence of predators.
An industrial world[12] and center of manufacturing that played a significant role in galactic shipbuilding, Kuat was the home of Kuat Drive Yards, whose shipyards and construction facilities were the most prominent feature of Kuat, encircling the planet in the shape of a large ring. Kuat was considered one of the most efficient shipyards in the galaxy, and its defenses were formidable, with protection provided by the Kuati Sector Forces and designs used for self-defense by Kuat Drive Yards. AargauAargau is a planet in the Zug system of the Core Worlds region, not far from Coruscant and the Corellian Run. It was run by and served as the headquarters for the Bank of Aargau, which was part of the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Numerous other banks and corporations were also based on Aargau, including the Z-Gomot Ternbuell Guppat Corporation. Aargau was an exceptionally wealthy world, due both to its status as a financial center, as well as the planet's vast reserves of rare and precious metals.
Aargau was a member of the Galactic Republic from its discovery until the end of that galactic power. After the fall of the Galactic Empire, it was considered a New Republic stronghold. The region of space occupied by the planet would later fall under the hegemony of first the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, and then subsequently Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire. Despite this, Aargau took a neutral approach to politics, which meant that warring factions were mutually welcome to conduct business on the planet. The planetary government imposed only three laws on citizens and visitors, called the Three Statutes of Aargau. These laws focused on the export of Aargau's natural resources, the absolute ban on weapons for visitors—and, conversely, the requirement to bear arms for Aargauuns—as well as maintaining the integrity of the Bank of Aargau. FoerostFoerost was a Core planet on the Koros Trunk Line between Kuar and Kaikielius. It was orbited by the Foerost Shipyards, which was one of the Republic's largest and oldest shipyards. It even held the title of largest, and highest quality ships in the galaxy till Kuat later usurped the title in the Clone Wars. KhommKhomm was a planet in the Khomm system on the edge of the Deep Core with wide blue seas, great land masses, and an abundance of oxygen. It was the home planet to the Khommites and the Khommite striders.
The Khommites possessed a culture of conformity, with a society that had remained unchanged for nearly a millennium. They decided they had reached the pinnacle of their civilization in 990 BBY, so life on the planet remained static. Through the Khomm Central Population Planning, all of the citizens of Khomm were clones of previous generations. A clone of each person of each subsequent generation was created to ensure the contiguous continuation of their species.
The cities on Khomm were mathematically perfect grids, with square housing and gardens, all preplanned. The animal population of Khomm, including the Khommite strider, was also genetically controlled by the Khommites. CaamasCaamas was a highly populated and marsh-covered Core World in the Cirius system, the second planet orbiting the star Cirius. It was notable for the devastation it suffered during an Imperial orbital bombardment which destroyed its ecosystem and nearly wiped out the native Caamasi.
Caamas was once a temperate, hospitable world of jungles, marshes, steppes, and rolling hills. Its dense rainforests and jungles teemed with life. After the Imperial bombardment, nearly all flora and fauna either disappeared or were mutated beyond recognition. Caamas became a barren waste, and without vegetation to release oxygen, the atmosphere became toxic and unbreathable. Bombardment kicked up smoke and dust into the air, and the surface became wracked by dust storms and falling soot, eroding the surface and sending dirt and mud into the oceans. The waters, once teeming with sea life, became muddy, polluted, stagnant, and lifeless.
In most recent history, an Imperial, Aurel Pellaeon, former Grand Moff of the Oversector that Caamas was a part of, went about a major terraforming to revive the planet of Caamas. His diligent administration, and the skill of his workers, saw the world become lush and green once more. ArkaniaArkania was the adopted homeworld of the Arkanian species. It was covered with tundra and rich in diamonds and other precious minerals, which the Arkanians mined to further their offworld connections and master their technology. Arkanian cities were designed to keep the cold out and were mostly completely enclosed. Off-world visitors rarely had to deal with the frigid conditions of the planet. Many citizens were miners.
A harsh world of tundra and ice, Arkania was able to sustain life and civilization despite the harsh climate. This large, high-gravity world was covered in everything from rocky mountains and frozen ice fields, to rain forests full of carnivorous plants, and deserts. As such, this planet was the perfect training ground for combat in difficult terrain. It was an exporter of food, and was ruled by the Council of Merchants, which later shared power with a military administration.

BilbringiOne of many asteroids that make up the Bilbringi SystemBilbringi was a star system in the Inner Rim region of the galaxy, on the Namadii Corridor. The system was the site of the important Bilbringi Shipyards and played a pivotal role in the Thrawn campaign. The Bilbringi system was choked with asteroids and other debris; it lay close to several military shipment lanes. The asteroids of the star system were rich in metals and other natural resources utilized in starship construction, making it a perfect location to place the shipyards. DubrillionDubrillion was a planet with beautiful oceans and lush-green continents, framed with fluffy white clouds. It was the sister world of Destrillion.
Dubrillion was located in the Outer Rim Territories near Dantooine and Muunilinst, in the heart of CIS space during the Clone Wars. Dubrillion would duly become a world of the Galactic Empire after the Clone Wars; when that government fell, entrepreneur Lando Calrissian would take over the planet and serve as its administrator. There was an asteroid belt situated near the planet, which was used by Calrissian as the basis for a large operation a while after the Empire's end. In addition, Dubrillion hosted many luxury suites and massive, high-rise cities. Leia Organa Solo was its ambassador for a short time. During the Yuuzhan Vong War, the planet was attacked and eventually conquered by the invading Yuuzhan Vong. DantooineDantooine was a pleasant world of grasslands, rivers and lakes. The planet was located in the Raioballo sector of the Outer Rim at an endpoint of Myto's Arrow, the other endpoint of which was in the Obtrexta sector, though Dantooine itself was still far removed from most galactic traffic. It hosted a small population spread amongst single-family settlements and small communities with large land holdings. Its sentient population consisted primarily of simple Human farmers, though Dantooine was also home to the primitive Dantari race. Native wildlife included the kath hound, the iriaz, the kinrath, and the graul. The planet had no industrial settlements or advanced technology by the time of the Galactic Civil War, save for a temporary Rebel base there.
Dantooine had several continents. There was an equatorial one that was connected to a larger northern one and a south polar one by slender land bridges, as well as a disconnected north-eastern continent. An olive, blue, and brown colored world, Dantooine was remote from the bustle of the galactic trade routes. Two moons floated in the skies above the savannahs of lavender and yellow grasses. Separated by forests of spiky blba trees, colonists maintained individual family estates largely isolated from each other.
One of the major continents of Dantooine was identified by its various geographical regions. To the southeast, there were the Rielig Steppes, with the Burad Hills at their southeastern corner. The Northeast section was identified as the Fields of Banir, which held the ruins of an ancient Jedi temple. AdumarAdumar was a temperate planet located near the Coreward edge of Wild Space first settled by Humans in the Ductavis Era. The settlers, who had been exiled from the Republic, lived in isolation for years, and developed into several nations that spread across the world. Their culture became obsessed with the arts of blastsword fighting and starfighter combat, to the point where skilled swordsmen and pilots were highly revered. Their society also made considerable use of formal duels as means for settling disputes or even just for entertainment, and also had a rigid social hierarchy.
Adumar's Human settlers had a complex social structure which was based on personal honor and triumph over one's enemies. Adumari nobility was obsessed with blastsword duels and starfighter combat, ignoring the underprivileged underground factory workers until the planet joined the New Republic. The Adumari were also skilled in the manufacture of missiles, with several kinds being produced—including, for example, a variety which would penetrate through a solid surface before detonating, creating a large crater in the target. Their extensive missile production facilities could easily be modified into proton torpedo production, leading to both Imperial and New Republic interest in wooing the planet. However, the Adumari lacked a planetary government and were instead divided into several nation-states, though the most powerful was Cartann's nation. BastionBastion, originally Sartinaynian, was the capital world of the Imperial Remnant, a successor state of the Galactic Empire, located in the Braxant sector in the Outer Rim Territories, and later the Fel Empire and Empire-in-exile. Bastion was located in the Sartinaynian system at the terminus of the trade route known as the Braxant Run.
Originally, "Bastion" was just a term for the worlds on which the Remnant's Council of Moffs and administrative headquarters were temporarily located. By the time of the Caamas Document Crisis, the Imperial government was located on Sartinaynian; it was the last of these worlds, where the rulers of the Empire relocated shortly before peace with the New Republic in 19 ABY.
Bastion's location remained a closely guarded secret, until the events surrounding the discovery of the Caamas Document in 19 ABY forced Han Solo and Lando Calrissian to locate the planet in an attempt to find a complete copy in the Imperial archives. From space, the planet appeared a beautiful, hypnotic violet color. MygeetoMygeeto was a wealthy InterGalactic Banking Clan colony between Ord Biniir and Morishim under control of the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Since Mygeeto was locked in an ice age, giant crystallized glaciation and ice covered its surface, as well as huge crystal spurs. Because of this, Mygeeto meant "gem" in the ancient trade language of the Muuns. Mygeeto's internal fires long since cooled and had left a colossal deposit of precious stones within its crust and mantle. The immense assets of nova crystals and fields of lasing crystals made Mygeeto one of the wealthiest worlds in the galaxy. It hosted artesian crystals and relacite. The planet's ice shelves were home to a species of huge and aggressive worm-like creatures. In addition, the planet itself was enveloped by an asteroid field.
Mygeeto was not composed of a uniform terrain; instead it was composed of many different kinds of terrain. There was no reported volcanic activity on the planet, meaning that the planet's interior was stable. The immense amount of precious metals found in the crust supports the theory that Mygeeto's volcanic activities had been dormant for some time.
Few cities existed on Mygeeto's sunken surface. These cities drew power from synthesized crystals which were constructed in large capacitor towers that stored and distributed the valuable energy drawn from the crystal. These cities were used mainly for administering the surrounding crystal mines, though they also contained vaults which were used by the InterGalactic Banking Clan.
Nearly all of the planet's surface was covered in thick ice, and the polar climate caused massive snow storms that battered the frigid surface almost continuously. Before the giant ice age, Mygeeto had a climate ranging form polar to temperate—30% of Mygeeto was covered in polar ice caps and 70 was either tundra or temperate. Temperature varied between -47 degrees in polar areas to 17 degrees in equatorial areas.
Every 200 years or so, Mygeeto would go through a snow shift meaning snowfall would be persistent and low pressure would dominate the northern hemisphere. The organization was relocated after the events of Muunilinst in an attempt to consolidate themselves and plan a counterattack. - During the midst of the Reunification War, Imperial forces fell upon Mygeeto and effectively wiped out IGBC resistance and installed their rule over the world. Following those events would be two rebellions that were crushed, solidifying control over the planet. - The planet, though still a well-garrisoned mining world, was formerly where political prisoners and slaves work the mines for the First Order. A recent decree by the Emperor, after the capital was moved to Coruscant, began a systematic release of slaves from within the mines.
