Alema'vrei made a thoughtful face. I don't have time to teach you. We're in the city, so everyone should know Basic. In the smaller villages it may be different. Come on. Mazer'dura had already reached the house and stepped in, calling out to the people inside. *Ellie bit her lower lip and followed Alema'vrei into the building, things seemed to be getting more challenging by the minute. She let out a slow breath and reached out into the surrounding area with the force, it didn't take much for her to locate signs of life directly above them.*
"Their above us, second floor." *She moved forward to a nearby stairs case and called up it. The sound of movement could be heard from above, but it seemed to be moving away from the stairwell. She turned and looked at Alema'vrei. "Maybe their just nervous, or unsure of our intent?"

When the Buzz droids impacted the ships, it did not take long for the flight leader to once again panic. He rolled the wings to starboard, but with the cockpit still afixed upright, he did not realize just how far he rolled. When he heaved the stick, he smashed cockpit-first into a rock face, killing the pilot instantly. The engines tore lose and flew out every direction. The wingmate, as she was so trained, followed the flight leader in his roll, realizing only too late waht was happening. She pulled back on the stick, but still managed to clip two of the wings, sending the fighter into a spin, so that it flew along the ground bouncing into things. By the time the starfighter stopped, the ship was ruined, but the pilot was largely ok, except for the buises from the harness and the vomit on her flight suit.
The other two ships, witnessing what happened, radioed back to their squadron leader before diving and snapping off shots from the laser cannons afixed to each of the four wings.
Meanwhile...
Mazer'dura bounded up the stairs, two at a time. Inside, he found a family. The man refused to let the family leave, worried more about his precious possessions than any potential danger.

*Ellie raced up after Mazer'dura to the floor above. She came to a stop beside him and quickly caught sight of the family inside. Her eyes narrowed slightly in agitation when she realized that the man wouldn't let his family leave even with the immediate threat of danger. The man was now yelling at them in Ryl, the vast majority of which Ellie didn't understand, she could feel them through the force though and he didn't want them there, especially a Mandalorian.*
"Di'kut (idiot)." *Ellie spoke to herself quite loudly in Mando'a before turning to Mazer'dura.* "What do we do with this one. He seems pretty intent on staying, and forcing him out may cause more panic then good."

Alema'vrei nodded at Mazer'dura, who quickly drew his blaster rifle, and put a stun bolt into the father. When the man dropped like a sack of munch-fungus, the soldier glared at the rest of the family, as if daring them to resist.
-Alema'vrei- We're not here to rob you. This building can go down any moment. We are going to evacuate you, and if your possessions are so valuable, you can pick them out of the rubble. Vashna, I'm asking you to take your kids and go outside. Either we can carry your husband out, or we can carry all of you out.

*The female Twi'lek quickly headed for the door, not wanting to be stunned herself. Ellie watched the Twi'lek dart by before turning back to Alema'vrei and raising an eyebrow in question.*
"Subtle. You want me to find the next spot, or are we waiting for a transport to pick them up?" *As she spoke, she began to reach out with the force. She was searching not only for injured civilians, but also any signs of her sister or her master. A slight frown appeared on her face when she still couldn't find her right away. Normally the force bond between her and her twin was strong enough to be felt relatively quickly, no matter how far the distance was.*

Lahiir smirked as she listened to the senator's response. Sometimes you had to give a little information to get some, and in this case she was making a profit.
Unfortunately, we are not considered actual 'personnel' of the Republic, but allies with it. You'll have to go through the appropriate channels and send a request to our superiors for permission to execute and change our engagement status. And whether your pilots have really good eyes or scanners, they should be able to to see the uniforms that my men are wearing in addition to the IR beacons mounted on their shoulders that will be active.
Meanwhile, in the ruins of the city.
Sergeant Falin stepped over a hunk of debris from a nearby shop, turning to make sure his squad was in tow. The outer perimeter of the city hadn't been damaged too badly, but there was still several displays of destruction caused by hunks of the capital building and impacting spaceship. Billows of dust were beginning to sweep the streets on occasion, decreasing long-range visibility for short periods of time. Falin lead the squad further to their first objective, making sure to hug the buildings on the street. Fortunately for them, cover was abundant in the form of debris and abandoned vehicles.
The commlink clicked and began transmitting in Falin's earpiece, relaying the first set of orders. Putting his arm out at a right angle and clenching his fist, he stopped in his tracks and took a knee. The soldiers behind him followed suite, taking a knee and covering their designated sectors. Once the order had been relayed, Falin called out to his squad over his shoulder. "Rules of engagement has changed. Watch out for friendly Twi'lek patrols. Evasive actions only... I guess they aren't taking a liking to our presence."
Falin stood back up and waved his soldiers forward, proceeding to lead them down the street. They had just taken the proper steps to cross an intersection; eight men covered every angle they could cover after scanning the streets for possible threats and ambush points while four men crossed at a time. They would then wait on the other side and provide cover for the next group. The team had reached the other side when the sergeant held them from advancing as the next set of orders came in. "Great... Now they want us to avoid all civilian contact, and to identify and take out hostile crafts if able. Even if the locals are firing on us." There was a few mutters among the men, but Falin quickly hushed them and pushed forward.
He took several steps forward when the next order came in. Now he was getting irritated. Why didn't they just give them all at once? What was going on at command? Not bothering to stop, he turned the IR beacon on his shoulder on and turned to the rest of the squad as they moved. "IR's on! Kriffing higher-ups can't make up their minds..." The squad continued on, turning on their shoulder-mounted IR beacons that flashed in the appropriate spectrum. They continued to cover their sectors as they moved further into the city.
The other two squads pushing into the city followed the exact same orders, noting the amount of changes happening in such a short time frame.

Alema'vrei shrugged as Mazer'dura lifted the male onto his shoulders and began the climb downstairs. We move on. No one's injured here. If they go back in, that's on their heads.
Meanwhile...
Crom'nen did not need to issue a response. He'd locked onto the signal for the approximate location of these alleged allies. He also did not need to issue a further response. The orders to target non-Twi'lek had been given more than an hour ago. While Spear tangled with an unknown target, the transponders made pleasant targeting solutions for the other Chir'daki squadron, Tualin. One wing pair spotted the beacon, and began peppering the area with laserfire. Crom'nen knew that the Twi'lek were angry, looking for someone to blame. Humans, as always, provided an easy place to lay blame. While the starfighters would have a hard time hitting targets as small as ground troops, they would certainly give those troops reason to hole up and wait.

*Ellie gave a shrug and began to head downstairs, as far as she was concerned, this was no longer her problem. She stepped outside and extended herself into the force, searching for the next area.*
"Does anybody know exactly who did this and why? Their tactics seem pretty reckless."
*It was then she felt a sharp tug in the force. A build up of anger unleashed upon another living being or beings. Ellie knew this feeling, there was fighting near by.*
"Uhh..I feel fighting nearby." *She turned to Alema'vrei.* "I think that's where we need to head next."

Mazer'dura unceremoniously dropped the man at his wife's feet. He took a couple of deep breaths.
-Alema'vrei- Lead on.
She began following the human girl to the fighting.
This will be more slaver schutta. They prey on our people like carrion birds. The schutta are always around, waiting for opportunities to snatch our people. If there's fighting being had, it's probably kidnappers. As for who did this, that's easy. It's your people. Only humans would do something like this.

*Hate boiled inside Ellie at the mention of slavers. Guilt was added to this feeling when Alema'vrei mentioned that Humans were more then likely responsible. She avoided making eye contact with the medic, instead she stared in the direction of the fight.*
"Lets go."
*Ellie lead the small group towards the spot where she felt the conflict coming from. She came to stop on a small mound of what use to be a building and looked around. They were close, close enough that they should see fighting. However, where there was supposed to be fight, she could only see smoke rising from a downed fighter in the distance. Her brow furrowed in confusion.*
"This isn't right. I know I felt fighting coming from this area."
*A pit formed in her stomach as a thought crossed her mind. Did her captivity with the slavers affect her force sensitivity, was she loosing it all together?*

*Dred watches as the two deal with the nasty effects of the discord missiles. The one who liked to open fire without warning proved how foolish he was and crashed into mountians. The other manages to prove not so foolish and bails out only a little shaken from the ordeal. Dred takes a pass in her direction and fires his forward laser canons to know she wasn't safe just yet. As the other two witness the occurrence they come in and engage Dred. They fire from a distance from behind him which makes him rotate around the blaster fire in a dizzying effort to confuse the other two. Should that not work Dred had other means to get behind them.*

Alema'vrei- You did. Look!
She pointed into the sky, where a man in Mandalorian armor was riding a monsterous beast of a machine in combat. It was engaged by a pair of the Twi'lek's unique take on the X-ball "ugly" known as the Deathseed.
-Meanwhile...
The dazed pilot planetside dove for the ground with the incoming fire, and did not get back up. The two pursuit fighters peeled back out of laser range when fire hit their shields. Instead, each began to attempt to get missile lock.

*These two were pros. Until that is they try to get missile lock on Dred coming straight at them. He could hear the warning system on the basilisk as they attempt to lock onto him. He catty-corners the basilisk after he punches the accelerator in an attempt to shred them on a suicidal inside pass with the droids arms and legs. Making it difficult for any pilot to get a lock. One would have to have some serious Jedi reflexes to get a lock and not get shredded by the war droid. Should they bail with a hard bank maneuver, Dred would punch it to low orbit for a coffin corner.*

The moment the war droid course corrected for them, the pilots used the manueverability of the starfighters and peeled off. One snap-rolled his wings and cantered off to starboard. The other pulled up, headed for sky. Both narrowly avoided disaster, but their manuevers seperated them, something they did not wish for in combat.

Flustered, she looked to the sky again. What is that thing?

It wasn't long before Sergeant Falin's squad was spotted by the Tualin squadron. Falin glanced over at the approaching fighters before setting his eyes back on the path ahead. He quickly looked back at them though, noticing that they were not maneuvering for a fly-by. His eyes widened as he realized they were aiming right for them in an attack pattern. Abruptly stopping, he glanced back at his team who were just comprehending what their squad leaders had noticed, and then at the building next to them. A two story, elongated building that represented an inn of some sort. He turned and fired a round through the window, blasting it open for a quick entry. "Everybody in! Now!"
The squad followed the order quickly, with the soldiers having the most tours already blasting and climbing through the windows near them. The newer members of the unit clambered through on the tails of the veterans, determined not to get blasted to bits. Large lasers rained down onto the street and into the side of the building, tearing up the duracrete and creating small sizzling craters. The incoming fire hammered against the building, causing the dust that had built up along the sills and cracks to erupt out and rain down upon the soldiers scrambling for cover. Several of the shots caused the walls and openings to crack and crumble, while a few others broke through. Chunks of debris ranging from as big as a fingernail to the size of a Wookiee's fist flew into the room, smashing and bouncing off the counter top and tables that the men took cover behind. The heat from one of the rounds tore through and slammed into one of the Specialist's left forearm, scorching the skin beneath.
As quickly as it had hit them, it was over. The sound of the fighters screamed overhead and then became distant as they surely started the long arc for their next run. Falin slowly stood up from his position behind the counter, glancing around at all the other forms as they picked themselves up from their nooks and crannies. From the looks of it everybody was in one piece, aside from a few bruises from debris and thin layer of dust covering their uniforms. The squad's combat medic had already stripped the burnt uniform from the arm of Specialist Tullyr. But before he could walk over and check on him, he had to report to Lahiir. He reached up with one hand and turned the IR beacon off while activating his commlink. Blade 3-1 to Blade 1-1, over?
There was a brief pause before a response came in from Lahiir. Blade 1-1 to Blade 3-1, go ahead, over.
Falin looked to his men and motioned them to turn off their IR beacons as he replied to Lahiir. Blade 1-1, a pair of uglies we saw engaging other targets just swooped down and peppered us. No casualties, but I'm turning off the IR beacons until we can get confirmed friendlies on the line. I'm not risking my men's lives until then, over.
There was a pause as Lahiir mulled over this fact. 10-4, Blade 3-1. Continue on with your mission. I'll inform the others of the change, over and out.
Satisfied that he was helping the other squads stay alive, he walked over to the Specialist just as their combat medic finished wrapping the afflicted arm. Taking a knee next to Tullyr, he reached over and turned off the IR beacon. "How you holding up Tullyr?"
Tullyr looked over and nodded, glancing back down to his arm. "Hardly a scratch, Sergeant. First degree burns along a quarter of my arm, thanks to the padding. That, and the fact it was weakened when it came through the wall."
Falin nodded with a smirk and stood, offering a hand to help Tullyr up. "Good, cause we are moving out. We've got to leave this position before those fighters come around for another run." He turned and lead his soldiers to the back, glad that there was indeed some sort of backdoor. They stacked up on it, opening it swiftly and checking for immediate contact. With nothing in sight, they rushed out and began to make their way down the side of the street, keeping to cover with all their sectors covered as the pushed onward. Falin glanced over to a wall that had been knocked a few feet smaller by debris. He could see the smoking ruins of a fighter in the distance. This city was spiraling downward faster than he anticipated...

With one squad's position reported, the rest of Tualin squadon circled toward that area, looking for any soldiers that could be enemies. Soldiers were easy to identify, as they were human, and wore human-style military gear. Twi'lek soldiers, by contrast, wore very little to show their toughness. These soldiers were now alerted to the position of one squad, and several groups of them broke off to engage. They were still over a mile off, but working toward the human soldiers.
Crom'nen monitored the situation above, but quietly jogged for the estimated position of the junior officer he had spoken with.

There! Mazer'dura pointed to a enclose speeder, buried in rubble. The family that owned it must have abandonned it. He climbed on it's nose and began to heave off chunks of debris.
