*Heading straight for low orbit Dred activates the rebreather mask in his buy'ce for some oxygen. Once he and the basilisk reach the point of low orbit there is a moment of weightlessness. A very brief moment as Dred makes a 180 and heads back down picking up terminal velocity. He comes down at the two "uglies" pilots, who must've by now turned around and got back into formation to follow him from a distinct distance. As they should come up Dred was coming down at them. Waiting for the last possible second to fire his last set of discord missiles down at them as the come up at him despite being fired on.*

One of the missiles did not go off on time. It flew straight through the cockpit window, creating a hole where the pilot's chest used to be. The second worked perfectly, causing the pilot to quickly lose control of the fighter. He was forced to bail out of the ship, hoping for some form of rescue as he plunged for earth.

*Ellie sprinted over and began to help remove the rubble the best she could. Pulling off the last piece she turned to Mazer'dur, she was about to speak when she felt a slight tug of pain in the force. She turned her eyes skyward and saw both the fighters taken out of commission. Her eyes widened in surprise, that Bes'uliik was tearing through those fighters. Without taking her eyes off the fighter she spoke.*
"We need to move! We need to move now!"

*Success. But only for the time being. Dred saw them unloading rocks off a speeder from a good distance away. Even with the distance The break-neck velocity in which he was now traveling it would only be a few seconds before he was upon them. As soon as he was within distance, Dred fired the pulse-wave cannons at the speeder, dumping several hundred shots of super-heated plasma. Aimed at the metallic speeder, it would shred it like a hot needle through soft wax as he made a pass over the speeder itself and heads for open air to find more targets to destroy. Dred did his job to pre-occupy the air defenses quite well. He laughs as he makes his way for round 2 as his payload wasn't even near being depleted.*

*Ellies stomach knotted as she watched the fighter turn in their direction. She knew what was coming next even without the aid of the force.*
"Get down!"
*She yelled the words as she dived over the side of the speeder to take refuge behind the rock pile. The rounds from the fighter torn into the speeder and the rock pile behind which sh took cover. Anger built up inside Ellie, just as it had when she killed the pirates in the tunnels. The second the rounds stopped she was on her feet, her gaze of anger landed on the fighter and its pilot. Reaching out with the force, and most of her remaining energy, she grabbed the fighter. Taking a deeper stance for balance, she zeroed in on the fighters flight controls and began to pull. With any luck she could disable the fighter, or worse.*

=Alema'vrei= Mazer!
The medic had gotten down and was unharmed. The large brown male that had been on top of the speeder was not so lucky. He was now behind the vehicle which had settle onto the ground. He was shot, a pretty hit, completely evaporating the base of his spine. He was alive, the wound seared. His legs were limp and twisted, and he was begining to go into shock. Her medical training jumped into action. She opened her kit and began applying bacta patches front and back, as well as starting an IV. Then she turned on her commlink. Alema'vrie to anyone: soldier down. Anyone copy? Emergency pick up required!
Meanwhile...
In the air, eight seperate targetting systems sought locks. The rest of Talon had arrived, while Talon 8 continued his freefall.

*Since there was no way, Emphasis on no way, a padawan can focus on the controls of a massive droid moving at near terminal velocity, Dred heads back to where the Bloodrage pirates landed. By now they have what they came for and now it was time to find the Senator and collect on the bounty.*

*Ellie watched the fighter roar off into the distance. Her whole body shook and she almost dropped to her knees. What was she thinking, she thought. It was then that she turned and saw what happened to Mazer'dura. Her stomach dropped as she sprinted towards the injured Twi'lek.*
"No, no, no."
*She dropped to her knees next to Alema'vrei. Ellie wasn't a medic, nor was she good with any Jedi healing techniques, she felt helpless, she felt as if this was all her fault. She turned to Alema'vrei.*
"What do I do?"

With the great speed of the fighter, Talon was outmatched. When the fighter ran, despite the desire for vengance, the squadron leader knew his duty, and turned them back toward the city. For all he knew, there were more of those things out there. Talon 8, on the other hand, began reciting a childhood prayer to Kika'lekki as he impacted the surface of the ground, just inside the Brightlands.
Meanwhile...
Alema'vrei, with all her training, knew that there was little to be done outside of a hospital. She removed a syringe and plunged it into his thick neck. He's going into shock. Do whatever you can to keep him calm.

The Captain breathed slowly, preparing for what was to come. He had been on many slaving runs before but they were all life and death, people fighting for their way of life were often among the most dangerous in the galaxy. His first mate was already distracting what remained of the defence forces, those that weren't searching the vast wreckage in the vein hope of finding survivors. The Echani chuckled to himself, he'd liked the effect his make-shift missile had had on the civilians. He could smell the panic.
His Reavers had begun the operation some minutes ago, streaming off the Cutlass towards the main road. The Captain needed to secure the ship fully and make sure everything was ready before he departed. The bridge was quiet after the orders had been given, officers were going about their duties and Arkan was pleased they knew what they were doing. That way he wouldn't have to kill any of them. A few minutes after the Reaver teams left the ship, Arkan departed the bridge. He was always ready for battle and made his way quickly down the “hanger bay”. The Carrack-class had no hanger bay as standard but the Captain had had cargo bay one and two merged together and converted in a very cramped hanger. It was big enough for maybe one squadron of starfighters but it was instead filled with the miss-match of ships that the crew owned. A Firespray-class sat on the port side and a very under used Mon Calamari freighter sat opposite. The Captain was here for neither of these, he was here for the tank!
One of the spoils of their trip to Algara, Arkan had been impressed with Dred for snatching it. That endevour had been one of the main reasons he picked him to replace his now ex-first mate. As the Echani walked towards the tank several Black Guard, in full battle gear, ran across to meet him. The Black Guard were far more elite than the Reavers with much better equipment, Arkan's favourites. They quickly got aboard the tank as Arkan took the controls, he would enjoy this.
The tank almost flew out of the hanger bay as Arkan piloted it at break-neck speeds towards the main highway in the region. This is where the Reavers had been operating and where they had already taken several hundred prisoners. The speeding tank passed a few groups being escorted back to the Cutlass, the dejected faces of the Twi'leks brought cheerful thoughts of credits to Arkan's mind.
The scene at the highway was quite normal, to begin with. The Reavers had been clever and not interfering with the main road and instead picking off groups by luring them off into side roads. The rest of the population were travelling normally, until Arkan arrived. The tank burst out into the middle of the road and turned to face the direction of the city. There were screams and shouts of panic and fear as the laser fire began. Shrieks of pain and the stench of death followed, exactly as the sadistic Echani wanted. The people fled in terror and those that weren't quick enough were cut down ruthlessly. Soon the way forward was clear and the pirate tank drove towards the centre of the city, the Captain had an appointment!

Clearing her mind she began to use the force to pour calm into Mazer. This, she hoped, would calm him enough to keep his injuries at a minimum.*

*Dred comes roaring in and sees Arkan on the move. He radios the other two Mandalorians to come fly low off radar and help him give Arkan an Escort to his destination with the other two Basilisk War droids. Flying low, under the radar as well, the other two basilisk war droids flank Dred and Escort Arkan to where ever he needed to go. Dred had his suspicions that he was on his way to Crom'nen. After all, the Exchange had a pretty large size bounty on the twi'leks head.*

The tank had not exactly avoided notice since entering the city limits. It's position was quicly radioed along to Talon, who was still ready for a fight. The squadron leader was the first to make approach, but his eyes spotted the three War Droids before even he did. Froz.
Meanwhile...
Mazer'dura ceased his shaking as the Jedi's calming took effect. A transport quickly roared up, and two medics took the large male aboard and the vehicle went in search of others. Alema'vrei simply looked at the young Jedi and shook her head. There's nothing more that can be done for him. But there are others we need to help.

*Ellie closed her eyes and let out a slow breath. She reached out with the force, extending the circle of her sense slowly to catch and sign of life. Then something strange struck her senses, as if a small group of force users had gathered in one spot surrounded by non-force users. This caught Ellie's attention. Focusing on the spot, she began to try and feel each individual. She could feel both fear and pain amongst them, survivors perhaps, but what scared them so much. As she searched the group she found a force signature that almost matched her own perfectly, her twin. She was so surprised that she almost broke concentration. Focusing on her sister, she tried to make contact through the force but couldn't get a response. This alarmed Ellie. Without warning she felt something dark, something evil, begin to probe her force signature. Ellie quickly broke the connection and turned to Alema'vrei.*
"I can sense beings over in that direction." *She pointed towards a low building with a flat roof in the distance.* "One of them is my sister, I can feel her there. But..there's something else. Something dark." *She turned in the direction of the building and began to jog in that direction. That was where she was going to go, and no one was going to tell her otherwise.*

Alema'vrei began to jog after the girl but was much slower. She pulled out a datapad and began to transmit the coordinates of the building to other Sesk'vati in the Obbyru.
Meanwhile...
Crom'nen emerged from the tunnels near the source of the earlier transmissions, but remained in the shadows.

*Ellie closed in on the building, the jog there seemed to take forever in her mind. As she grew close, so did the anticipation of finding her sister, but something caused her to slow her stride. A sense of unease began to build up within her, there was something there, and it felt like it was waiting for her. She turned to face Alema'vrei.*
"Somethings not right. There's..something else here. I can't explain it." *She turned towards the building. High above her, she could feel other life forms caught in a tempest of emotion. The building itself looked like the remains of a landing pad, one that had been there for years. Slowly she began to make her way up a flight of stairs connected to the dilapidated building. As she reached the last floor before the roof, she crouched low. The tail of a freighter was now visibly sticking out over the side of the building, along with the sound of voices drifting over the side. Keeping low she crept up the stairs until she could see over the edge of the rood. There she saw an old freighter stationed on the roof, it was surrounded by many crates, and living beings. Most of the beings were sitting on the ground, their hands shackled behind their back. Around them stood a dozen or so armed guards, oddly of which seemed lightly armed. Ellie suddenly realized what was going on, these people were being taken as slaves. She scanned the area until her eyes found what they were looking for. Sitting up against a crate was the still form of her twin. Fighting back the urge to run out there and save her sister, Ellie ducked down and turned to the medic.*
"Slavers. Their loading people up in that freighter. There's more then the two of us can take."

Alema'vrei shook her head. You're right. Far too many. Nope. We'll just have to wait for reinforcements.
The sound of a transport driving up could be heard down the stairs. The medic smiled and drew her weapon. Reinforcements are here. Let's go.
