Formulaic and standard as ever. Perhaps one of the few things he would have to train out of Vardus one day, but he also accepted that this was how his apprentice showed respect Have your men on alert, we leave shortly for Fondor and to strike a decisive blow against the Coalition. Primary objective is to keep the Onager's protected. Any Coalition ship that gets too close, we fend them off. Got it?

An older contingent of warships arrive from hyperspace and begin to form up with the fleet. The two old Imperial II star destroyers and their escort of Victory I and II star destroyers moved to take up position to support the Imperial Flagship. The small fleet had been assigned to anti-pirating missions on the more remote borders of the Empire and had been recalled to add some additional hulls to the strike on Fondor. Aboard the lead Star Destroyer Extinction Commodore Chevix Norris, an old imperial officer, complete with grey hair and mustache, turns to his communication officer.
Inform the flagship that we have arrived.

I'd expect nothing less of you Vardus. Ensure they cower in fear and rethink any decision to try against us...Harnan closed the comm link off as the final contingent of forces showed up above Empress Teta. With their strike force finally together, he was sure Jenia would be ordering their jump to happen very soon. Unlike Vardus' optimism, Harnan very much doubted there would be a great deal of Jedi presence at the upcoming fight. But he was not going to dash his apprentices hopes too quickly, in case their enemies surprised them

The small fleet had been assigned to anti-pirating missions on the more remote borders of the Empire and had been recalled to add some additional hulls to the strike on Fondor. Aboard the lead Star Destroyer Extinction Commodore Chevix Norris, an old imperial officer, complete with grey hair and mustache, turns to his communication officer.Inform the flagship that we have arrived. Having recieved the transmission, the Ars Moriendi would send the assigned coordinates for the formation towards the two ships. With the Extinction placed upon the left flank, they would serve within the core of the much stronger flank, that guarded the Executor-class Star Destroyer.
-----
Eventually all preparations were finished when the last ships arrived. Within minutes all communication arrays of nearby vessels were recieving news from the Grand Admiral herself, understandable for everyone. ::Fellow officers of the First Order, you were summoned here to deliver a fatal blow towards the opposing gouvernment, known as the Corellian Coalition. By the time of this announcement's end you will have recieved the coordinates for a system, that will lead our way into the inner heart of the Coalition itself. Thanks to Imperial Intelligence an instable hyper route has been found within the Deep Core, that would bypass the currently drawn borders between us and our enemy. It is this reason why you were summoned here secretly, while the rest of the fleet holds the front lines. Once we arrive at the key location you will know what has to be done. Any Corellian spy aboard our ships has now the chance to surrender immidiately, for there is no hope. Even if you manage to warn the Coalition in time, the final coordinates will be sent from the Ars Moriendi, once we have left the hyperspace route.
We will proceed with the jump immidiately, clock set on the Ars Moriendi rotation. Approximated time for launch: Two minutes, Hyperdrive systems on medium pace. Navigation tower is now online. All ships are commanded to follow the signal coordinates. May the Emperor's will guide us to victory! Ad Gloriam! Ad Victoriam!::
Though there was no echo within the silence of space, several captains, deck officers and Stormtroopers repeated these very last lines of the Grand Admiral. Once more their enemies would tremble under the might of the First Order's dreadnaughts, similiar how they crushed the Galactic Alliance over Mon Calamari. The engines of the Super Star Destroyer shined briefly in a bright light as its engines were activating slowly once more, before the jump towards the unknown corridor was made with several ships following afterwards.
Within the anomaly
Once the fleet would enter the system that apparently was the cause for the strange anomaly, systems were slowed down as the Ars Moriendi entered the small hyperwell. Swift commands were given to loosen the formation, as the navigation tower would show the following ships the most dangerous areas within it swiftly. Without the research of Director Piett's agents and the meticulous analysis of the phenomenon by the First Order's research teams, any regular Star Destroyer-sized vessel would have been lost easily within this invisible minefield, that was fluctuating from time to time. Yet most ships made it through the field, with only few Imperial-class and Victory-class vessels leaving the field with deactivated shield systems and minor damages. Given the instability of the field, Jenia knew that this would be a one-time operation, as this anomaly would likely collapse some months later. Still it was fascinating to watch.
Eventually one of her bridge officers informed Jenia that all ships had left the dangerous areas of the mysterious nebula, once they had reached it's outskirts. Again all ships reassembled into their assigned formation with only the bare left flank under the command of the Ren's fleet staying omniously behind. With them having recieved more closer instructions, they knew what was to be done. ::Attention! Ascending Star will enter now it's hot stage. Inform the gunner crews, that they have to be prepared for breaching major defense lines. The target of the operation will be the shipyards of Fondor, the beating heart of the Coalition. Prepare for resistance, but remember that it is futile. For we are the First Order.::
Again the ship engines of the Ars Moriendi powered up, while simultaneously it's escort ships did the same thing. Unseen and within short time they had bridged a massive distance from the Deep Core towards the Colonies, that would lead them straight to their target destination. Bypassing the Coalition's active defences at the border, Fondor would be after Froz the next system that would recieve a major blow. This time though the Imperials would finish what they had started.

A heavy hauler outfitted for fuel transport decanted from hyperspace in the Empress Teta system. It was a massive, bulky craft, with huge fuel containers extending below and behind a small cockpit module at the top of the bow. Decades old, the IFF read her as the Coreward Bound, registered to a Corellian corporation. Her cargo was listed correctly as fuel and energy supplies, with the purchase linked to a local corporation on Empress Teta.
The crew contacted Empress Teta orbital control for a landing vector, all relaxed, and wishing to get on with the job and earn their bonus pay for making the return run on time. They had no idea of the plot with which they were involved, and integral to, all they knew was they were doing one cargo run among thousands.
Teta Control, this is Coreward Bound requesting a landing clearance.
Both the purchasing and the selling companies were front corporations, among millions, that existed purely to carry out black operations which were not to be traced back to their ultimate source. They could be created and wound up at need, but appeared legitimate, as they all kept records, paid taxes and licence fees. Nothing was done to raise any suspicion that this particular ship was anything to be concerned about.
The Coreward Bound and her cargo of fuel cruised insystem making for an orbital insertion path, awaiting their permission to descend toward the planet of Empress Teta.

One of the security officers, watching the traffic control, heard the inbound transmission. One of his supervisors walked over as his subordinate ran the IFF, the ships name, and whatever details could be found. It seemed everything was running more efficient on Empress Teta, since the Ren began to put a greater interest and investment into the system. The Corellian label did raise some eyebrows.
=Supervisor= Corellian huh?
The two scoffed almost in unison. Though the Coalition war was over, and the First Order was victorious, Imperials had begun to become suspicious of Corellians, given the tenacious fight they had put up. Corellians had their streaks of liberty and desires of freedom after all, look at the Confederation of the Second Galactic Civil War. Whatever the case, the agent on station keys the all-clear button.
=Security Officer= Coreward Bound, please head for designated landing zone in Cinnagar. Be advised that the left side of your side is leaning off several degrees, adjust accordingly for landing. Welcome to Empress Teta.
The supervisor then walks away, heading for another station to take a look at. A report was sent out, as per protocol, of the oncoming traffic.

On the heavy hauler Coreward Bound, the bridge crew worked at their stations as the reply came in from local traffic control.
Understood, thanks for the assist, Control. The captain turned to the engineering officer. When we get down, I want a systems check, we're drifting. The engineer worked across his consoles while the helm took the ship along the plotted course towards the orbital insertion toward the city of Cinnagar. The helmsman worked hardest of all keeping the freighter on course.
Unbeknownst to the crew of the freighter, their ship's issues were due to sabotage. While the ship was ordered in towards Empress Teta, subroutines in the ship's control systems adjusted the vessel's trim and attitude just slightly, giving it the appearance of errors in course. Nothing to be concerned about.
The ship continued in, passing close to one of the Golan III Novagun space stations guarding the planet below. The subroutine monitored the vessel's progress, watching until the freighter moved within close distance of a few hundred meters of the station, on its way down the gravity well towards Cinnagar.
On the bridge, they worked at correcting their course. It required constant adjustments to keep the ship moving in the right direction, as the crew constantly, but slowly, adapted to the changes the subroutines were making. They had no way to know what the issue was, just kept trying to steer their old tub in to a safe landing so they could fix whatever was wrong.

A sipping noise was heard as the shift officer quietly drank his tea. As he set down his cup, an ensign came over to him.
=Ensign= Report! A transport is drawing close to the station, sir!
=Officer= Details, ensign, details.
The ensign blinks before giving the full report. Coreward Bound, Corellian corporation sponsored, fuel transport, and the traffic control reported that it was off by several degrees upon approach. The ship was now well off its course and outside of the limits of civilian traffic as a result, yet it seemed to have not corrected itself. The officer sighs some, shaking his head.
=Officer= Idiots... it's Corellian, so obviously it would be in restricted space.
The officer turns to the ensign and then calls up his weaponry sergeant. With a brisk salute, the officer gives his command.
=Officer= The civilian transports and their corporations know the rules of Imperial space, especially that which is monitored by the Knights of Ren under the office of Grand Moff. There is restricted and there are civilian zones. We have our orders, they have their understandings. It's their fault for not correcting their vessel before departure. The rules of restricted space are that there are no warnings. You either obey the law or you get punished for it.
Calmly, the officer lifts up his cup and sips on it calmly.
=Officer= Sergeant... open fire.
The command was given and, for a second, everyone sort of looked at one another. But this was the rules of Ren-monitored Deep Core territory. They didn't like people prying, they didn't like intruders, they didn't like anyone who wasn't of the First Order. And they certainly didn't like idiots being where they shouldn't. The sergeant then nodded his head and turned to his staff. In the next second, locks were made upon the Coreward Bound transport. In the second that followed, the nearby weapon installations, both Turbolaser batteries and proton torpedoes opened up their ordinances and fired upon the vessel.

The innocent crew aboard the Coreward Bound never knew what hit them. Their ship was build to carry fuel, not a warship. The turbolaser blasts from the nearby Golan III lanced through their meager shields like a hot knife through butter. The blazing bolts of energy cut through the hull, piercing the ship in several places.Well within turbolaser range, it was a very large sitting duck of a target. Unfortunately for the hapless crew, as well as the Golan III and anything else within a few hundred kilometers, the freighter was packed with Rhydonium, an extremely volatile and explosive fuel. When it blew, it blew big, and spectacularly.Coreward Bound disappeared behind a white hot flash that eclipsed everything before it, as a massive shockwave balled out from the point of detonation. A colossal explosion, enough to rip apart the battlestation and anything else in nearby orbit in a fiery cloud of destruction. There would be nothing left of the freighter to sift through larger than a mosquito.
No doubt the First Order would not take kindly to the loss of a battlestation. They would begin to pay more attention to Empress Teta. They could not afford to risk such a valuable system, a system which would be less well defended with one of its Golan IIIs destroyed by what might look like an accident.

The neighboring Golan III watched as the explosion went off, rippling through space and disrupting the traffic over Empress Teta. The officer, onboard, sighs deeply and shakes his head. He turns to a holoprojector and proceeds to turn it on, keying in the encrypted channel to those below. Once it keyed up, an agent of Imperial Intelligence appeared before him.
=Officer= Report! It seems whoever has been eyeing the Deep Core is trying to talking to us. Violent explosion ripped open one of our Golan IIIs.
The agent nods her head and turns off the channel. The officer turns back to still bright hue of amber. What a waste... of good explosives.

The silhouette of two dagger-shaped vessels could be spotted within the orbit of Empress Teta, as both the Salvatore and the Nemesis entered the space of Empress Teta. A foolish eye certainly would mistake the two Kasalle Company Convoy Galleons for a mere variation of the Venator-class Star Destroyer - a mistake for which many pirates had already fell, as the cannons of the Galleons revealed more firepower than initially anticipated.
Flying by the damaged Golan III plattform, Salvatore Kasalle eyed the damages done to the imperial station with keen interest. So it seemed that the rumors of an unknown threat within the Deep Core were true. After the end of their campaign on Cato Neimoidia, that was marked by the Corellian Coalition's downfall, the Household's forces had once more returned into the inner sectors under Company controll, watching vigilant the routes between Byss, Prakith, Aargau and the purse worlds, as economy once more rises after the end of the war and the ore prizes have reached a top. With the terrorist attack conducted upon one of the First Order's stations, Baron Kasalle had tasked his son and Commander Ilago to investigate the situation and to keep the local mercenary legions ready. With the full might of the Prakith Legion in his back, Salvatore felt prepared for the challenges that might come ahead, for it would be on his side to represent the noble house's loyality towards their Ren overlords and the Empire once more.

The Intimidator and Havoc's I-IV had been dispatched up to Empress Teta with Atlantia Ren at the command of the task force to oversee the damage investigation for the Golan III defence station. Governor Haro Bibble had already tasked several maintenance crews into shuttles and had them aboard the station within an hour or two of the accident. The stations shields had absorbed much of the initial explosive impact before failing. The armour plating had further blunted the impact after that. The Eastern Side of the station had suffered several gashes into it, causing emergency lockdowns to prevent venting of the atmosphere within. Rescue Crews were still working to collect the bodies and try get to those stranded on the wrong side of the station but within areas still containing oxygen.
Atlantia finished reviewing the status reports when Harnan's visage appeared upon the command table on the bridge Sister... What's the status?
The western side of the Golan III is still fully operational, the eastern side has seen considerable failures, but several of the weapon stations can still be controlled remotely. Repair crews are confident they can have the station up and running again at full capacity in a couple weeks...
Have them finish their inspection and submit their reports, I'll be retasking construction crews to the station to begin works on a refit for it. Given the damage, it's a perfect excuse to conduct the work. I'm entrusting you to oversee the work...
By your command Master... The holoprojectors shut off and returned the table to its previous state. Atlantia then began relaying orders to the Repair Crews to finish their surveys. Construction crews would be arriving in the next day or so.

Dozens of small craft arrived over Empress Teta carrying supplies and materials for the work crews that were based out of Cinnagar. Transports flew to and from the surface, while small worker craft buzzed around the Golan III station The refit work was well underway to convert the station to its interdictor version. It also meant the activation of the final segment of the Deep Core Security Net sensors for the Byss Run thanks to improving relations with Empress Teta and the Ren

Upgrade works continued over Teta as the Golan III was built up into the Interdictor Refit design. The station crew was cycled out as to allow the workers access to everything they needed. While they were down a station due to the works, the Ren fleet at Teta and the ability for reinforcements to easily be called up the Byss Run. Progress was on track to be completed soon

"Sir, we're recieving a message! That's the signal!"Captain Varis was immidiately reacting, as his Lieutenant gave him finally the message, he needed to hear after all that time of waiting. It had been a long time now since the Onager-Class Star Destroyer Chameleon had been deployed from Yaga Minor towards the Deep Core. So far they had been sitting ducks within the Empress Teta system and Varis neither felt great at the thought, that terrorists had recently damaged one of the orbiting plattforms within the orbit of the planet.
Now however it seemed that the High Command's plans were coming into motion. "Excellent. The time has come." In swift motion the Captain was taking out the code cylinder that had been entrusted on him, when they had arrived within the system by the Grand Admiral's representative, Admiral Naya Thax. Given that the mission was apparently something that required a good ammount of stealth and espionage these days was highly practiced within the Deep Core, it was a mandatory to maintain the secrecy of the Chameleon's mission. Briefly Varis eyed the coordinates he had typed in, as the holo display gave a brief preview of the system to which they were heading. "Huh. Interesting." "Something's amiss, Sir?" "Oh, no no, it certainly makes sense, given the current circumstances. But never would have thought they would require a Siegebreaker here." "Well, it's probably called Siegebreaker for a reason, Captain." Waving away the snarky comment, Varis proceeded to message the bridge crew the flight route they were taking. "Alright, let's get us out of here! Hyperdrive on medium power and tell the gunning crews to remain prepared on the main cannons. Our mission starts now!" "Aye Sir!"
Thus, the Chameleon slowly reached the borders of Empress Teta's gravity well and exited the system once more into the dark void of space. Only few pathways existed within the ever fluctuating Deep Core, yet they would utilize one of the more stable main routes to reach their target destination.

The Rastreador-class Pursuit Frigate dropped out of Hyperspace over Empress Teta, it's call sign broadcasting to the Ren forces, announcing the arrival of the Magistra. Captain Estoll stood at her command post, running the crew through their paces. In the couple weeks that had passed since Fiora took command of her new ship, a new crew had been brought on board. Some, like Estoll, had been poached from the shipyards to serve as mechanics, while others were relatively freshly recruited officers. Fiora had made this choice specifically so that the crew would only know the Rastreador-class and learn its limitations. Crew from smaller or larger vessels would either over or under-estimate its abilities. Something she would not risk.
Harnan had told her she would need to work harder than anyone else to prove her worth, and she intended to do just that.
She stood at the front viewport of the Magistra, with the Tribune Guard and her four Ren Squires located around the Bridge in protective positions. Directly in front of the ship hung the pair of Golan III stations. One was of a regular design, while the second featured the finished features of an Interdictor Refit. The last of the work crews were finishing up the refit works and the regular staff of the Golan III were returning to and taking up their new roles aboard the Refit Station.
While Atlantia had been overseeing much of the construction work, Fiora had been dispatched by the Master of the Ren to oversee the final handoff of the station and the formal activation of the Deep Core Security Net from Teta to Byss. They were tasks which Atlantia could have seen to herself. However, the Tetan Royal Families growing connection to Fiora was one that Harnan seemed eager to strengthen

It had been months of hard work. Building the new inquisition into what Zariel wished. A cult of those fanatically loyal to the Empire, whose loyalties were then twisted till they were loyal to Zariel first and the empire second. She had had help of course. The Fallen Four served to inspire fear within the ranks even when she must be away. But the her greatest ally, and possibly closest thing to a friend she had, Deputy Director Vidarr Saren had been indispensable. His continued loyalty and competence earned him Zariel's favor. He would continue to be her most valuable follower in the days to come. For word had reached the Grand Inquisitor of the Emperor's failing health. And now she needed the help of the man she hated most in the galaxy. Silas Darkstar.
Zariel's rage seethed, her steely composure set in place as the Mephistopheles left the blue swirl of hyperspace and came into orbit above Empress Teta. Before she came to join the new Empire she would have never come to Silas, except to end his life. But she had been humbled, when she had to come to this Empire that was no more than a shadow of the glorious institution it replaced. Palpatine's Empire, the true empire. He was gone though, and things as they had been under his rule would not return. She had accepted this fact, but had promised herself to keep as much of it alive as she could. And as the Grand Inquisitor she was in a prime position. But first, she needed a prophet to guide her next actions. Someone who could show her where and who to strike in the chaos she knew would follow. It always did when great leaders like this passed with so many family members still living. Zarial wanted a head start on her compitition, and who better to give that to her Silas.
The ships comms officer established a link to the The Nox Cathedral. Zariel spoke plainly and evenly, without a hint of emotion, despite her unfathomable rage. Tell your master the Grand Inquisitor will be landing shortly and that he had better be there to greet her. She would not deign to wait for a reply and instead instructed her pilots to make for the Cathedral.

As with Khomm, so too did Empress Teta receive a new defensive battle group consisting of similar ships. However, Teta's new Defense Battlegroup was not the only one to arrived. A second Aniquilador-class Battlecruiser at the head of a separate Battlegroup of ships also formed up in orbit bearing the call sign of the Second Task Force of Scourge Squadron. Upon questioning, the Grand Admiral of the Task Force would state their role as being under the direct command of Empress Fiora Ren
