She did not want to let Jin go, in fact every fibre of her being screamed out "NO!". She wanted to keep the one person she loved close to her side, safe and away from those whom had tried to betray her. But she knew what Jin was like and that such a decision and choice would only make the woman she loved hate her. She wrapped her arms around Jin tightly as the other woman sprung up and hugged her. Taking from the embrace as much warmth and comfort as she could, sensing she could be without it for some time.
Much like Jin, Fiora hoped this would not be the last time they would share such an embrace. The momentary warmth filling her chest until the kiss was broken and she caught her helmet as it was returned. She held on tight to it as she looked from it up to Jin You better come back... Or I will tear the Galaxy apart to get you back... Fiora did nothing but sit upon her Throne, clutching her helmet as Jin gave her another kiss and then turned and left. Her composure was barely maintained as Jin hurried out of the Throne Room to head for Coruscant. The Force help the poor fool that tried to take Jin prisoner. Not just because of the fight Jin would put up, but because of the fury that Fiora would unleash upon them. It was no mere idle comment that she had made, but rather a promise and a threat to those dumb enough to stand in her way.
She slid her helmet back on, waiting till it locked back in place before signalling for the Tribune Guards to re-open the Throne Room and admit the courtiers that were after her ear to resume the day's business of governing. She called in her advisors first to inform them of the rough details pertaining to her previous meeting, though she left out any details pertaining to Jin's mission. While there was some hesitance to the idea, they understood why she had made her decision and would support it

Operation: Hammerfall - 8 Hours Later
It had been a rather busy 8 hours since the meeting with Fiora that morning. Orders had been getting relayed down the chains of command, Fleets and Armies were on the move to reinforce the Deep Core, and plans were being drawn up. While there was still some preparation work to be done, the opening moves could at least be presented to Fiora to get her sign off. The best way to lose a war was to remain complacent and never start it. Something Harnan had no intention of doing.
His holo image appeared within the Throne Room once more before the seat of power from which Fiora now ruled as Empress. Much like earlier, the Room was mostly empty, save for the presence of the Tribune Guards, the pair of Grand Admirals that served in the Battle Groups now sitting over Empress Teta, A couple Generals from the Armed forces of those same Battle Groups, and the Empress herself. It was to Fiora that he gave a bow in greeting Empress...

Much like Harnan, Silas had been busy all that day working through collating intelligence reports and coordinating with the Master of the Ren regarding various battle plans and preparations. While they had technically been preparing for this for some time, they put on well the show of two men working to fulfil the wishes of their Empress. Unlike earlier in the day, Silas did not appear in the Throne Room via secure comm, but rather showed up to the Palace in person. He quietly entered the Throne Room a few moments after Harnan appeared in holo form and gave his own bow to Fiora Your Majesty, apologies for my tardiness. It has been a busy day... I do hope my presence has not driven our noble Knight of the Tribune from your side this evening? Shall we wait her arrival?

The business of governing Empress Teta had been no less busy that day, the declaration of war not having gotten her out of her regular duties. However, she had carried a lot more worry and concern through the day, wondering if Jin was safe and if she had arrived safely to Coruscant or not. But she had pushed on and persevered, finally getting through the day to the war council she knew was coming. Some part of her had hoped to hear from her love before this meeting took place, but given the travel times involved between Empress Teta and Coruscant, she was probably still en-route to the Capital. Which meant this meeting was going to be... interesting.
She dipped her head in greeting to Harnan in his holographic form and then to Silas as the Arch-Mage strolled into the Throne Room. With her helmet on, she could hide the look of concern that crossed her features momentarily as the man brought up Jin's lack of presence That won't be necessary Arch-Mage... Proceed.

His gaze passed from Silas to Fiora as the interaction between the two played out, waiting to see how much she would reveal. But she was remaining tight lipped about the absence of Jin. No matter, he would proceed as she commanded Task Force groups from Scourge Squadron have been deployed across the Deep Core to reinforce our holdings to ensure that none of them will suffer attacks from our enemies. I've also began dividing out other Task Force groups under the command of various Knights of Ren as well as yourself. With our defences solidified, our thoughts now turn to the offensive...

He gave a nod and took his place at the table, waiting for Harnan to finish delivering his report, before the Arch-Mage took over the next part Reviewing the map of First Order Territory, we have assessed Kuat as our best initial target. As a major shipyard, it would limit their ability to repair their fleets and provide us a new source of production for ships. Given our current readiness, we would be ready to strike within the next couple days... Blitzing the enemy hard and early would provide the best chance of success, and secure them a great boon. It would all depend upon what Fiora decided and what information she revealed

Silas and Harnan had certainly been busy today, that much was sure. To be honest, she had expected no less of the pair, especially since the Imperial Knights were implicated in this matter. She was glad to hear that the Ren Territory had been reinforced, but she started to grow a little anxious as Silas talked of plans for raiding Kuat. She was not reconsidering her decision earlier by any means, but she had mad a promise to Jin to try and avoid committing to any attacks long enough to allow her time to meet with Octavian. She cleared her throat with a cough Well, you'll have a few more days to ensure full readiness. My Uncles need to have justice brought to them for what they've done, however Jin has been dispatched to Coruscant in hopes of meeting with Octavian. I wish to give her as much time as possible to secure his abdication and possible co-operation against Brock and Baltasar...

His gaze passed to Silas before returning back to Fiora. He would say he was surprised that she'd managed to win out and try and speak to Octavian, but the truth was that he had expected for and made plans for such an outcome. Who knew what could happen if she managed to successfully meet with the Boy Emperor and present him the evidence gathered thus far. Honestly, probably very little that would prevent he coming storm. It would likely simply serve as fodder by which Brock or Baltasar would justify convincing Octavian of the danger the Ren presented and the need to take action.
He shook his head as if processing the new information You sent the one person trained and committed to protecting you, away from you at this time? You're meant to keep your bodyguards close to you, not send them into the heart of the enemies base... let alone the wrong base... Octavian is out touring the Outer Rim, I believe he is on Bastion at present. Baltasar reigns on Coruscant in his absence... This complicates things...

Silas had already been aware of Jin's mission, having been informed of her departure by the assets within the Palace and also from his own clairvoyance. As such, he had already enacted plans and taken steps to deal with the matter for the time being. If Baltasar's supposed betrayal had not been convincing enough with the evidence, then Jin was about to see first hand proof of it. Myria had quite the uphill battle, but she had proven resourceful enough in the past in gathering the Cabal around her Not ideal, but... I can understand why Your Majesty took such an action. We might have more helpfully advised Your Majesty of where best to send Jin to meet with your Brother. But alas, such things have happened. Jin Song is a strong warrior and a Knight of the Tribune. I have faith she will prove more than a match for any machinations Baltasar might throw at her. Our focus needs to be upon Kuat, for intel suggests a strike team has already been dispatched to the world to take possession of the Mandator Five that has just finished construction, and we cannot allow Brock or Baltasar to take possession of it. It presents a danger we cannot allow to linger for a few more days...

Her heart dropped as Harnan and Silas both confirmed that Jin had gone off in search of Octavian in the wrong place and was most likely about to walk into Baltasar's hands. But if that was not bad enough, Silas' news regarding forces on Kuat readying to take possession of a Mandator V only compounded the situation. She was more glad than ever before for the helmet that hid her features, portraying an impassive shield whilst below she was concerned and felt alone and out of her depth What... What do we know of the Mandator Five? She knew Jin and how powerful she was, but one person alone against an entire army was not going to last forever. It was too late to try and warn her now, instead it was a question of how much time they could spend on other ventures that would make them stronger. If this ship supposed presented such a danger in the possession of Brock or Baltasar, than it was equally true it would present that danger to them once acquired by the Ren

Harnan inclined his head toward Silas, whom quickly touched through a couple controls before a holo projection of the Mandator V appeared in the air in the middle of the Throne Room. The model slowly spun around on a horizontal axis, giving everyone gathered a good view of the Heavy Siege Dreadnought. Harnan stepped to the side and looked out toward the projection as he clasped his hands behind his back, almost admiring the metal behemoth of destruction The latest iteration of the Mandator line. If the Four was an experimental gun platform, the Five is the culmination of that experimentation and a refinement of what it means to be a Siege Breaker. It has a similar overall structural appearance, but it dwarfs the Four by a full four thousand meters. It has four Orbital Autocannons, two slung beneath the ship and then a pair on either side of the prow. The main Bridge is within this larger structure, but a sighting bridge at the front can function as the command centre should the primary bridge go down. IT has enough guns to defend itself, but also has a complement of a hundred and sixty eight starfighters that can launch from protector hangar bays located in the hull cut outs... All in all... if there is something in this things way, it won't be there for very long... He unclasped his hands and turned back to face Fiora Jin's a big girl, if Baltasar is stupid enough to try take her prisoner then he'll have quite the fight on his hands. But that? if he or Brock get control of that... well then they can wipe us out in the blink of an eye. If Jin does become a Prisoner, well... we got a much better chance of getting her back with that at our side than facing it down...

She sat in awed wonder for a moment as the Mandator V projection appeared and spun in the air. It was an impressive sight and made all the more so as Harnan laid out the details of the vessels capabilities. It was, as described, a Siege Breaker. Orbital Autocannons were impressively powerful, capable of tearing capital ships apart and reducing mountain ranges into gullies. The Ren lacked the ability to defend against firepower of that magnitude and there were few enough worlds as it stood that were allied with them. Against them it would deliver a decisive blow and end their efforts to save the Empire. But with it on their side... Well, there were other SSD's across Imperial Space, but this could handle their threat pretty well Master, you don't like presenting me with overly optimistic scenario's, do you? Very well, ready our fleets, we make for Kuat as soon as they're ready. We'll secure the Mandator and Kuat for the Ren and the Empire... I will lead the assault personally, and I won't have any argument on the matter...

He stared long and hard at Fiora for a moment as she agreed to the assault on Kuat before announcing she would command the assault herself. On the one hand, he admired her fire and resolve to take command of an attack she was ordering to be carried out. On the other hand, he hated the fact that she was going to lead the attack due to the risk it would carry. He wanted to keep her safe for a variety of reasons. But he knew arguing with her was not a wise move, especially in this setting. He'd just have to be extra vigilant in his guard of her Very well. I shall have our Strike Fleets assembled over Teta, then we shall make for Kuat. His Holo image faded from existence as the Master of the Ren got to work implementing attack preparations

Silas dismissed the holoprojection of the Mandator V as the lights rose back up to better permit people to see as various officials started filing out of the Throne Room. He waited until the others had left before giving a bow to Fiora and taking his leave to return back to the Cathedral and over see operations from there

The Nox Cathedral A massive holoprojection of the galaxy filled the air within Silas' office whilst the Arch-Mage moved about examining various data points. News stories were breaking out on several Imperial Planets as word of Baltasar's Coup upon Coruscant spread. Officer's loyal to the older Delvardus started to clash with those loyal to the Boy-Emperor, whilst agents of the Obsidian Order spread support for Fiora and the Ren. Already word of the taking of Kuat was being spread about, pointing out the near bloodless strike that had seen the Ren take stewardship of the world. Aside from a few alterations, things were mostly going according to plan

The Nox Cathedral Silas was set up in his office, watching as the holoprojector output a slightly delayed feed of the battle of Ralltiir. There was a great deal going on across the Galaxy, but much of it was contained to separate battlefields. Should that situation change, his trusted lieutenants had been instructed to inform him of such as they oversaw the various melee's ongoing. For now, Silas was focused upon Ralltiir where the main Ren force was currently meeting the first of Octavians forces. Each side was busy delivering their opening speeches, trying to goad one another into making mistakes in the fight ahead.
It was the usual stuff for the most part: the offer to join from Fiora, the rebuke from Lucius. He couldn't say he had interacted with Lucius much back in the dying days of the Diarchy, but the man had sided with Torkan back then. A fact which had given Silas all the insight he had needed to know how this interaction would go. At least, that was, until Fiora's reply came playing over the speakers. Her opening remarks had been rather pedestrian, wishing the Grand Admiral an honourable death, even as he tried to insult her. But then, she dropped the one comment he had been working hard the last few years to keep in the shadows. He pushed himself to his feet and started pacing the room, trying to game plan how to use thisYears of work and planning... What are you playing at... To be fair, he could already work it out. She was hoping to sow descent in the ranks of Octavians forces. There were those that flocked to him as the next in line for the Delvardus line, but if he lacked the Delvardus claim, would they remain? Any affect on his forces, no matter how negligible, was a step closer the Ren would be to victory. However, that same logic worked against Fiora as well. There were those under her own command whom owed loyalty to her supposed lineage as a Delvardus, whom might now jump ship and choose to support Baltasar instead.
Orders were being pushed down the ranks of the Magisterium and out to the Obsidian Order to keep eyes upon those whom might be most at risk within their own ranks, to ensure they were kept in line. There was a potential route through this mess, and if they played their cards right it would work brilliantly. The plan was already forming as he went from worrying about her foolishness to trying to turn this into an advantage. He saw the light, but now, he would have to await the end of the battle and a chance to talk with Fiora and Harnan and explain their next move

The Nox Cathedral As the battle of Ralltiir continued to play out, Silas remained an observer of the unfolding events. He had seen so many variations of this fight, but that did not mean he was certain upon which path it would follow. For the most part, the early skirmishes seemed to be following the same route ahead that he had encouraged. However, a dark shadow crossed his face as the image of the Super-class Star Destroyer crawled out of hyperspace and entered the field of battle. The former, self styled, High Moff of the Diarchy it seemed had managed to survive his escape and was now making his move. It was something that Silas had foreseen as a potential problem, and one he had contingencies prepared for. However, it did mark a turn in this fight. Many and more orders were relayed out to his subordinates, coordinating their new plans and actions

It had taken Nem the better part of a day to reach his destination. After slipping past the planet's security forces, he'd made his way into Cinnagar and purchased a berth at a private landing pad for a staggering amount of credits. His past life as a pirate had taught him the importance of wealth in infidel society, what a motivating factor greed could be. Credits had bought him a landing pass, a private pad, and no questions asked. Which was well as the otherwise necessary trail of blood he would have been forced to leave would have inevitably drawn notice.
The automatic doors of a public hover-train car whooshed open in the heart of the city, allowing a disguised Executor to step off onto the street just outside the tap-cafe he had been looking for. The Wired Wookiee, it was called, with roots in the underworld community dating all the way back to the days of the Krath. Wearing an ooglith masquer, the Intendant appeared very much the image of a non-descript human, with the pale skin of a Core-Worlder and a bald head. Over the false layer of second skin he wore a set of dark blue trousers, a plain shirt, and a loose overcoat that made his sinuous physique less obvious. To all outworld eyes, he was just another human heading in for a cup of hot bean-juice. Nem entered the cafe and found a quiet booth in one corner with his back to the wall next to a transparasteel window that gave him a view of the street. Beneath his disguise, his mqaaq'it leered beneath the false membrane overtop of them, seeking the usual signs that indicated a data-broker or loud-mouthed smuggler, anyone who might be a useful source for information.

The Wired Wookiee The last few days had been a lot of introspection within The Magisterium, trying to determine what had gone wrong and lead to the retreat from Ralltiir. The shift in course had also necessitated a retreat and relocation of their operations from Empress Teta back to Byss. However, even though The Magisterium was moving, that did not mean that their agents were not watching this world with intense scrutiny coupled with Silas' precognitive abilities.
As such, when then Yuuzhan Vong infiltrator took his seat in the back corner of the café, a Magisterium Terror Trooper clad in a white cloak entered the front of the store. The focus of those within the store was soon pulled toward the appearance of a Priest of the Obsidian Order. The Terror Trooper went through the motions as he touched babies foreheads and gave an ear to people's confessionals and requests. This distraction allowed the Arch-Mage to slip out of the kitchen undetected by the majority of those present and make his approach. He kept his arms held behind his back beneath his cloak as he offered a short bowI do hope this seat is not overly occupied... He offered a wicked smile, before sinking down into the booth seating opposite his new companion, his back upon the crowdI apologise for the intrusion, but perhaps you might keep me company for a little while? He turned his head slightly to the side, checking upon the charade going on behind him before turning his gaze back upon the man opposite himImpressive, isn't it? So much fuss all for one person...

Nem's false face remained a mask of impassivity, offering nothing save for a hint of amusement as the right corner of its lip began to slowly curl upwards. A practiced motion, as was every expression the ooglith masquer made, as none of the infidel facial expressions were common amongst his kind. He wasn't entirely sure who this was, but suspicions were beginning to form. He leaned back, resting his hands on the table with his longer fingers intertwined. He leaned his head just a little to the left, looking past the Archmage to the Priest offering public confessionals. "There's a lot of that going around right now, but it's not really for them, is it? The masses are desperate for entertainment, anything to escape the daily drudgery of their boring lives. All it takes is a bit of theatre and you can unite them, incite them, or invite them to tear it all down. Power loves a good show. It helps distract everyone from what's really happening."A waitress strode over, holding a notepad and stylus in one hand, her jaw chomping a pink wad of stim-chew.
"What'll it be darlings?"
Nem looked up. "A cup of Moff Gideon's dark roast for my friend and I each."
"Cream, blue milk, sugar?"
He stared across the table, his eyes focused on the man in front of him.
"Black."
