The first capital ship designed from scratch for the Vegemite Enclave, the Warlock is a capable war vessel, suited for commanders wishing for a more subtle option; relatively speaking, than the massive and imposing Vegemite Star Destroyer, based itself heavily on the Xyston.
The ship's hull and shields are well up to military standard, and she moves well in combat, with an average speed from her engine banks, fed from the powerful main reactor buried deep within her superstructure. Offensively the ship has banks of turbolaser and ion batteries relative for a vessel of her size. At close range, her multiple mine launchers can cause massive damage to both capital ships and starfighters alike.
Unlike many designs, the Warlock is not a crew intensive vessel, utilizing multiple droid brains to oversee ships' systems. Engineering, Defence, Offence, Navigation and Command each possess a separate control system, linked to the command bridge, secondary bridge in engineering buried within the mass of the ship, and the meditation sphere located between the two. A streamlined design, her narrow crew corridor at the center of the ship and the main hangar directly below, in front of engineering, is the only populated section; the rest of the ship given over to power generation, propulsion, weapons, and defence.
She is equipped with a Hibridium cloaking device, a tool which can make this rare vessel a stealthy one, though it handicaps the vessel's own sensors due to its double-blind nature. Her all aspect layout allows for overlapping fields of fire for her external weapons, while maintaining the ship's systems down the central corridor, protected on all sides by the hull and shields. This also assists should anyone try to board the vessel as there is only one section to 'board' with actual atmosphere and life support for the small crew, the defenses can be concentrated in one area.
