For what seemed like ages she waited, though it was but a few minutes. She could hear her heart pounding in her ears as she waited in silent anticipation. What would she hear coming through her comms? She could only imagine the seemingly infinite possibilities from a warm welcome to heavy questions to even being shot out of the sky as either a fraud or traitor. All she could do was wait.
Finally, the man’s voice cut through the quiet cockpit, giving her some sense of relief in more way than one. Still, there was a bit of worry hanging in the back of her mind. She knew full well that Nicademus would be told of her arrival but to also make it known to the Grandmaster of the Imperial Knights? It made her wonder once more if this was a good idea and if she could handle the question that were to come.
Taking a deep breath, she responded, her voice carrying a calm tone not unlike the way it always used to sound. Understood. Making my approach now. After all this time, she still had a hard time believing that the codes still worked, even if they had to be sought out. To be gone so long only to just pop back in surely made one wonder. Focusing herself, she sharpened her mind as she pressed forward, making her way to the surface.

Commodore Viggo sat in the rear of his shuttle cockpit, relaying instructions to Task-force Pericles as the shuttle made the short trip from High Point station to his flagship. It was a tiny thing, as far as imperial ships go, smaller even than it's escorting Vindicator-class cruisers. The SoroSuub made Liberator-class cruiser, actually a frigate at 398 meters long, packed quite a punch for it's size and managed to carry a full wing of star fighters and three full regiments of troopers. It was absolutely amazing what the ship could do, though it was a bit dated in the FO line-up it was still a wonderfully versatile ship. Viggo looked forward to seeing the ship in action.
As his shuttle docked, Task-force Pericles was coming to life, as the new orders were disseminated to the crews. Comms traffic between the vessels increased as they began preparing for the coming training run over New Carida. Crews began polishing both their work stations, uniforms and individual skills in anticipation. The rumor mill began working in full force as well as the crews learned that they would be training with the Banshee fleet. Most of the crew had heard of it and was in awe of this opportunity to work with it. As it had not been previously confirmed to the non-officers that the task-force was tied to Banshee fleet indefinitely.
For the time being Viggo focused on getting his task force ready to depart, double and triple checking readiness of personnel, machines, and supplies. He sent a few preliminary requests to Banshee fleet, informally informing the commanders there of the upcoming training exercise and requesting soft departure time for the fleet. He made it clear that he didn't need a response until their own orders came through, and was simply trying to cover his bases. His naval vessels were ready for action but several of his mechanized infantry and special weapons units were still receiving their hardware. He expected to be ready for departure late that week, as most departments were reporting readiness to leave by the middle of the week.

Four Days after the Emperor’s announcements, Viggo strode onto the bridge of the frigate Periklis and ran through the routine protocol of the commanding officer stepping onto the bridge. That finished he reviewed the readiness of his task force on the main screen as each vessel was represented by a symbol with informative data listed along top of the screen. Each of his capital ships and his fighter squadrons were ready for action, he was still waiting for one last shipment of munitions spare parts for the mechanized infantry. That was scheduled to arrive within the hour and should be stowed properly by the end of the watch.
He ordered the screen cleared and visual communique initiated with the current watch officer of Banshee Fleet. He stood at attention, as the officer he was contacting would out rank him as even the lowest shift officer, which shared his rank of Commodore, held seniority over him. Viggo would salute his superior when the connection was established, and then run through another familiar protocol before getting to the meat of the matter: finalizing a departure time for the fleet. Orders to command the training would not take effect until the fleet was over New Carida, which suited him just fine. He was little on edge about Jenia putting him in charge of it all, ranks aside, but figured it was his own fault for pushing her so hard during the announcements.
“Commodore Viggo reporting, Sir. Task force Incursio will be ready for departure by 0600 galactic standard time tomorrow morning, roughly ten hours from now. May I request a formal time of departure for the Carida training exercise, Sir?”

Five days post announcements, Banshee Fleet and Task-force Incursio moved to the edge of the system in two distinct groups, the Banshee Fleet an example of discipline, precision, cohesion and confidence. While Incursio was obviously a group made primarily of raw recruits, the commander were competent and apparently eager to get their crews whipped into shape. Arriving at the designated point of departure, more or less simultaneously, the ships formed up and left the system in unison. The ships were off to Carida for some joint training prior to being deployed by the Emporer in his next campaign.

A dilapidated G9 Rigger-class freighter practically fell out of hyperspace, decelerating rapidly as it approached the outer edges of the banking world's planetary defenses. Any scans of the craft would show that it was nothing out of the ordinary: stock armament (that is to say, light), a few suspect places in the armor, and signs that it had been maintained painstakingly, but by a relative mechanical amateur. The transponder, however, would be much more interesting, to anyone with the ability to obtain the proper data feeds. The craft was registered to the Jedi Academy on Corellia, but if one dug deeper, it had been reported stolen nearly two years ago. As for occupants, there appeared to be just one: a human male.

=Theomiir Starstrider=Muunilinst control... The black-haired young pilot said. This is the Amethyst Phoenix, requesting landing clearance for Harnaidan. I wish to speak with the Imperial Knights. The Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer, Suzerain, caught the transmission from Starstrider's vessel. A quick run through the registry was done by the commander and his staff, verifying the vessel in question. Curious how it was Corellian in origin, but was labeled as having been stolen some years ago. The crew was rather suspicious, but the pilot had followed protocol. So the officer would give a communication back.Amethyst Phoenix, this is the Star Destroyer, Suzerain. You have been cleared for landing. However, you are being re-routed to High Port. A member of the Imperial Knights will meet you there to speak with you. Please adhere to Imperial Law during your visit.

The welcome sounded about as warm as he has expected, which was to say, not very warm at all. But Theo didn't mind. He had successfully infiltrated far more hostile worlds, with the intention of doing them genuine harm. In this case, he meant the planet and the Imperials no harm, and his only deceit was in concealing his Jedi allegiances.=Theomiir Starstrider=Acknowleged, Suzerain. He replied simply, seeing no reason to continue the conversation. He was slightly disappointed by the redirection away from the surface, but that was unimportant compared to his quick success in securing an appointment with the Imperial Knights. Easing the controls forward, he changed course for the orbital station known as High Port. The freighter shuddered from nose to stern, and balked quietly for a moment, before changing course to follow its insistent pilot. The shining spheres of High Port loomed larger and larger, like a clump of silver bubbles floating above the planet.

A Maxima A-class Heavy Cruiser emerged from hyperspace and began its approach towards Muunilinst. It had been a few years since the ship had returned home as it carried out its designated goal as a cadet training facility. Having the carrying capacity it did, it surpassed most ships in what they could carry, making it the optimal warship to train new pilots on. And the time had come that its current batch of students had finished their training and passed their final tests. And so, it was time to return to the capital of the First Order so that it could distribute the newly appointed Flight Officers to their first assignments and take on the next batch of trainees.
Xoia stood at attention in the briefing room, confident smile upon her face as she waited to be spoken to by the general assigned to watch over their progress. She had dominated her training over the years, taking to her studies and the controls of her starfighter like a fish in water. The end result had her passing the final tests with flying colors. She had worked hard to distinguish herself from her peers, working to have her skills noticed. And here she was, the first of the cadets being brought in to be issued their first deployment orders. As to what she knew, her scores and rank would allow her to choose where she went. She had thought long and hard about the assignments, hoping to get assigned to a fleet under notable leaders, such as Grand Admiral Petrovsky, Grand Admiral Needa, Admiral Arcavius, or even the Emperor's own personal fleet.
Minutes ticked by as silence was her only response. It was irritating, to say the least, but she knew better than to speak out. If she was to receive her position of choice, she wasn't going to even entertain the idea of expressing her emotions. So there she stood, patiently waiting. After what seemed like ages, he finally spoke.
"At ease. Looking over your record, you have shown incredible skills behind the controls of a starfighter and displayed your intellect many times within the classroom. You are to be commended on your desire to be the best you can. Because of this, you have graduated in the top percentile of your class with very few showing themselves truly better than you. An accomplishment worth recognition. From this day forward, you are no longer a cadet, but a Flight Officer of the First Order." Taking a deep breath, he stood tall before her. "Now, I'm sure you've gone through and thought hard about what position you'd like to take, as it is common that pilots graduating with skills such as your get to choose their assignments. However, this will not be the case. We have decided where you will be deployed."
For a moment, there was silence once more and a thick tension that radiated from Xoia as she heard the news. The smile she had faded and her body slumped a bit in her position, though she tried to stand tall in front of her superior. Her irritation only elevated in response to the news. She was one of the best-skilled cadets and she wasn't going to be able to choose her path? Frustrating wasn't even the word, though she kept herself together. It didn't have to be that bad. Maybe her skills made her a candidate for one of the best squadrons and they really wanted her there.
Yet, as the general spoke on, this proved not to be the case, her face showing her agitation despite her attempt to stay composed. If he saw it, he said nothing about it.
"You will be assigned to the Noctis Deep Patrol Fleet." Reaching for a datapad on his desk, he handed it to her."You will be joining up with Ofnir Squadron. The datapad I have provided will provide the details you need. You have three hours to get your things together and report to the hangar where a shuttle will take you to your new team. Dismissed."
Taking a deep breath, she snapped back to attention and gave him a salute before departing the briefing room. She had been looking forward to this meeting, excited to be finally moving out and joining one of the major combat fleets. Yet, her hopes were dashed with this assignment she was completely against. But there was nothing she could do about it, not without being reprimanded. All that could be done was for her to press forward and prove herself. Shaking her head as she returned to her chambers, she knew her father wasn't going to be thrilled with the news.

Xoia had spent the next couple hours slowly packing her things and getting herself ready to depart. Reading over the datapad that had been given to her, the patrol fleet was currently on Muunilinst resupplying and gaining a new fighter lost in a battle. This was the pilot she was replacing, which was also the reason for the fleet's return as it was easier to join up here than shipping her off to another world.
Sitting on the edge of her bed, she had held off contacting her father for as long as she could. Everything was ready to go and it was almost time to leave. No point in delaying anything further. Moving over to the wall, she activated the terminal and contacted her father. She waited for what seemed like an eternity before her father picked up, his image coming across the screen. Immediately, she stood at attention and gave him a salute. "Just reporting in, Father. The Lanista has returned to Muunilinst and my training has finally come to an end."
As she spoke, he gave her a nod, signifying she could stand at ease. Brushing a hand over his white mustache, he spoke in his deeply smooth voice.
"I see. That's good to hear. What was your ranking in your graduation? I also assume that by now you have moved on from being a cadet and been given an official position, as well as been given your first detail?"
She froze for a moment, not wanting to say the words to him, knowing exactly was to come. "Yes, I graduated within the top percentile of my class. As for my new rank, I have been promoted from cadet to Flight Officer. I was assigned to the Noctis Deep Patrol Fleet. I will be departing in less than an hour."
Silence fell over the room as he looked at her, his head eventually shaking.
"Clearly, if you graduated in the top percentile, yet have only been given that low rank and assigned to a simple patrol fleet, either the skills of all the cadets are incredibly lacking or you are not as good as you claim to be. I'm disappointed in this news, Xoia. We have a name to live up. Within the First Order, our name holds influence and I will not tolerate my daughter disgracing that name. Make sure you remember that while you are out there on patrol. Perhaps in time, you may be able to rectify your failures."
Before Xoia could get a word out, Jaune ended the call and left her there alone. Her breath became heavy and shuttering as she worked to keep herself composed, though she ended up punching the wall. So hard had she worked to please her father, to live up to the standards he expected of her. Every day had been an onslaught of lessons on mannerisms, etiquette, and how to be a figure worth note in the First Order. Not wanting to fail him, to disgrace their name was what pushed her to be the best she could be, to prove to her father her worth. But this assignment only worked to show him otherwise. But there was no changing things now. All she could do was work hard and hopefully rise the ranks. If that wouldn't win back her father's respect, then she didn't know what would.
Giving herself a little time to calm down, she gathered her things and made her way to the hangar where a shuttle was waiting for her. The moment she was on board, it took off and headed for the planet below.

Into orbit the Vigil-class Corvette Mobius and the Gozanti-class Cruisers Sigurd and Ninox and began to head out away from the planet. Returning to her room had her meeting up with three others within the squad. If there was ever a time to meet and become acquainted with her squadron, it was now. Especially since she was the new one while everyone else knew each other and had flown together before. It was a strange experience, being the new person amongst experienced individuals, but she would listen and learn from them. And from that, become the best she could be and aim for the top.
Breaking free of the planet's gravity, the ships launched themselves into hyperspace.

Two Regulator-Class Star Destroyers, the Albion and the Bulwark, come out of hyperspace above Muunilinst, along with their respective escort fleets. Although this was no longer the capital of the First Order, it was still a major economic hub within the Empire, and as a result, it warranted more protection then your average planet might. Even now, hundreds of ships entered and left the system, with commerce flowing in and out. As such, the ships maintained a defensive formation, willing to risk themselves to destroy any attacking fleet who might have thought to attack or capture this particular section of space.

A Resurgent-class star destroyer erupted out of hyperspace and into Muunilinst's open orbit. The clearence codes were sent ahead and identified the ship as Foe Hammer, flagship to the Director of Imperial Economic Administration. The ship's officers forwarded an Imperial writ: the oversector was to be auditorized as part of the regularization and centralization of the economic affairs of the whole Empire, part of the effort undertaken by the new agency. Needa was chosen as the first of the Grand Moffs to be inspected, not only because he ruled over the largest and most important oversector but also because his loyalty was unwavering. The director requested a meeting time and place and being granted access to the whole accounts of the sector.

The flow of commerce traffic above the world seemed to scarcely shift with the arrival of the massive battlecruiser in the system. Due to its status as one of the premier financial hubs of the Empire, Muunilinist received a healthy flow of interstellar traffic, both from businessmen, financial experts, tourists, and all other manner of such individuals who came to see the world, and a good security staff was there to protect them.
Speaking of said security staff, a Raider II-Class Corvette moved into the path of the Resurgent-Class Battlecruiser, establishing communications with the bridge of the ship, in order to respond to his query.
Greetings, Director Ju'oda. We are pleased to receive you. The prior preparations have been made, and the Grand Moff is ready to speak with you whenever you please. He can be found at STRATCOM in Harnadian.

A small transport ship arrived in the system and approached the orbit of Muunilist. The ship was a passenger vessel. It transmitted its ID, itinerary and declared its manifest of number of souls: 1,254. The transport was bound for High Port.
Aboard, one of the passengers was a 7 foot tall man. His transport documents indicated his origin on Manaan. However, his transportation history stops 5 years with a one way trip from Corescant to Manaan. His passport prior to this indicates frequent trips between Cato nemoidia and Nur, a known Fortress of the Inquisitorious between 8 and 5 years ago. The purpose for his visit: declared as religious.
The ship docked at High Port.

Rising from the planet's surface, the Lamdba-class shuttle carrying Xoia broke through the planet's atmosphere. From High Port just off to their starboard side to the pair of Golan III Space Station that served to protect the planet from invasion, the shuttle flew past them all. It wasn't long before they began to make their way past other ships as well: visitors to the planet, First Order officials here for meetings and assignments, even some of the ships that guarded the planet alongside the Golan's by Grand Moff Needa's orders.
Slowly, the ship pulled away from the traffic of the world and began its trek to open space. The further they went, the more the vessel shifted to align itself properly with its trip to Coruscant. Coordinates were already being loaded as the shuttle team prepared for the jump to lightspeed. It was only when the system verified they had exited the planet's gravity well that the pilot pulled down on the lever that activated the hyperdrive, the craft shooting forward and disappearing into the realm of hyperspace.

Emerging from hyperspace near the planet, the Lambda-class shuttle made its approach towards Muunilinst. In comparison, it was a much clearer path through the planetary traffic and defenses as the shuttle team passed along their clearance codes gained permission for their landing. Not wasting any time, the crew took the ship down into orbit, heading for Imperial Strategic Command.
As the trip went on, Xoia took the time to glance over some of the information she had received. Not only did it contain the schematics for the Sloane-class Stealth Destroyer she would be commanding, but the original Sloane-class if only to help compare the differences. They were quite the marvel, both variants. While it would have been nice to retain the full power of the original, the newer version was definitely no slouch as the Vice-Admiral had said. It was what had to be done to ensure they gained a few more advantages. And being a covert and special operations team, the stealth field generator was needed much more than the extra firepower. She also learned of the name granted to the vessel: the Valahia.
Next came some information that excited her even more. Though her squadron would be made up of four members, they were being provided with more than that for starfighters, each serving different roles. The first was something she thought would have been a much longer time coming. They were given the TIE/vn space superiority fighter. Outside of the modified TIE/wi, which was still not approved for service outside of a few select pilots of the most elite status, the Silencer was considered to be the most elite craft that a ship could carry. Only the most skilled were even capable of taming these beasts, something that her team's Force-sensitivity would aid them with. That fact alone was what made these fighters so rare on the battlefield. Next came a pair of Demolishers. The elite version of the First Order bombers, the team would be capable of using them for missions that required something that hit much harder. As much as she would have liked having one for each of them, the requirement of a pilot and bombardier made that a moot point. Then came the stealth fighters in the TIE Phantoms. Considering their role, it made sense to have these craft available as well, even if they were the weakest o the ships. There was also the presence of a Mu-3 shuttle used for landing ground troops. They also displayed the designation of the new squad: Razgriz Squadron.
That was the most she was able to review during the trip, having glanced over just the names of those that would be on her squad. But she would have more time to dive further into the rest of the information as the week progressed. With word echoing in her room that they were arriving, she packed up her datapad and prepared herself to disembark.

It wasn't long before the Lambda-class shuttle rose into the planet's orbit and worked its path to break free of the planet's gravity. The coordinates for Foerost were uploaded into the computer as the course was laid out. Once all was in place and they were clear, the shuttle vanished in a blink into the realm of hyperspace.

A Quaazaar Post, Inst. (short for interstellar corp.) freighter dropped from hyperspace and joined the civilian traffic pattern over the planet, around the Highport area. Quaazaar Post, Int. was a galactic mail, parcel, freight, taxi, and courier service.
"This is QPI-711, out of Ralltiir, requesting a dock on Highport." "This is Muunilist traffic control, Acknowledged, QPI-711, please continue your traffic pattern." After a delay, traffic control came back. QPI-711, you are cleared for docking bay 45-tr-52281. Have a good day.
"Thank you!" The QPI frieghter headed for the Highport dock.

A military Corvette dropped from Hyperspace from the core-ward corridor vector. The Corvette was joined by a military escort of two Gozanti cruisers with TIE complements. The ship transponder signal would Identify them as FO military, originating from Bilbringi. The ships transmitted the appropriate military codes, including those showing the Bilbringi Station Commander was present, and Muunilist traffic control approved a flight vector from their position to the Imperial Strategic Command.
A military shuttle that was docked with the Corvette, uncoupled and dropped into orbit over Muunilist. After launching the shuttle, the Military Corvette and two Gozanti cruisers set a course to return to Bilbringi and made the jump to Hyperspace.
Shortly after the 3 ships left orbit, a VT-49 Decimator dropped from hyperspace with Bilbringi FO transponder codes. The ship, "Iron Maiden II" was approved for approach to the Imperial Strategic Command. It headed planetside.

The bustling life within the orbit of Muunilist continiued as the Charybdis and it's two escorting Victory-II class Star Destroyers entered the orbit of the First Order's former capital. The Light Star Destroyer of the Conservator-class had been repaired at the Kuat Drive Yards, showing no scar from the incedent, as the engineers replaced the damaged section marvelously. With most of the ships and the harbour controll recieving direct authorization orders, confirmed by the Emperor himself, not many questions were asked why the Grand Moff from the Borderlands sector had shown up. However, some of the officers potentially knew that the Imperial hierarchy was once more shifting as decreed by the Emperor.
With her Star Destroyers being ordered to dock at the High Port, Jenia's personal shuttle was prepared to approach the surface, escorted by none other than the best pilots of her fleet. The TIE/vn squadron made within their black colour scheme a darker contrast towards the white Upsilon-class command shuttle, which slowly made its way towards the Imperial complex on the planet's surface.
