Ben Ji Protector of the Force

Good Evening,
I am Ben Ji a Male Twi'lek from Ryloth I was orphaned during a village attack from slave traders and was rescued by a Female Human that was clearly a Jedi. I was force sensitive and trained from the age of Nine. I am now proficient in the force and Lightsaber dueling.

I spent Three years Travelling the outer rim helping others while keeping a low profile. While on a job delivering a valuable Cargo to Nar Shaddaa I was approached by a Corellian spy who required transport to Corellia. Fearing his life was in danger I had to get this person off Nar Shaddaa. I had recruited a Pilot in those years as I wasn't the greated pilot myself.
The three of us set off to Corellia. Upon our arrival we were escorted by Corellian fighters to meet with the spies superiors. Unfortunately I hadn't masked my force when arriving and that alerted the Jedi Council. When we landed we were greated by the Corellian forces and 3 Jedi masters and One member of the high council. We were told to surrender for questioning. The Jedi feared i may be a sith spy as I was trained in the force but not by the Jedi Academy. I managed to escape without causing any harm apart from force pushing the Jedi while I escaped. My trusted Pilot created a diversion which led him to be captured but it did allow me to dissappear in the busy world.

I had became rather wealthy due to my work on Nar Shaddaa. I Managed to start a life hidden in the lower streets of Corellia. I bought a little apartment and opened a droid repair shop. I used a very difficult technique to temporarily mask my connection to the force. Which meant I couldn't use any force powers without the risk of allowing the Jedi to sense me.

For a few months I lived an honest life repairing droids and helping people however I could. I knew there was a higher calling pulling me back to the force. While out having a drink at my local cantena my pilot walked in.
It must of been the force pulling us together again. My pilot was freed after interrogation by the Jedi they discovered I wasn't a sith spy but were still very interested in meeting with me.
I agreed to meet with the Jedi Council.

I went to the Jedi temple alone and unarmed leaving my lightsaber at home. just incase the jedi tried to take it from me. During our meeting they asked many questions regarding my training. I told them my story. They examined my force skills and fighting techniques and cross examined them within their archives.
Days later I was met with the full jedi Council. They informed me that according to the data it would appear I was Trained by a famous powerful Jedi Named Bastila Shan. I was told it was impossible as she was long deceased. When I was shown a holotape of her I knew that she was the same woman who had trained me. The Jedi argued amoung themselves but ultimately they agreed that the force had brought her back for a reason to train me.

They gave me a conditional offer to join and train within the Jedi Order. Remembering what my Master had said about Being a Jedi and the order acting in the name of politics, I declined and explained, I am an agent of the light, protector of the force and I serve only the force. They seemed rather disgruntled but they let me leave and released my ship which had been impounded. I had started a life on Corellia so I decided to stay. However I didnt expect my biggest adventure to come and find me.
