Description:
A highly elusive and rare vessel, the Intruder-class shuttle serves the primary mode of interplanetary transportation for the enigmatic secret society known as the Order of the Wardens. A fairly compact vessel designed to fit snugly inside the hangar bay of a capital ship, the Intruder-class comes in several different configurations, being easily refitted into a cargo shuttle, a small troop carrier capable of transporting and deploying several squads of Wardens, or a long range VIP shuttle fully equipped with albeit cramped living quarters for a small crew and a handful of guests. Its most notable feature is its low-observability hull plating composed of sensor-negating polymers and coated with stealth composites, similar to the much more famous stealth variant of the X-Wing employed by the Jedi during the Yuuzhan Vong War.
The stealth plating drastically reduces its defensive capabilities, leaving the ship highly reliant on its shields to survive. Armed with only a single, retractable laser cannon turret that can be controlled from the copilot's seat in the cockpit, it is not a ship designed to engage into combat, but rather to flee from it, making use of its stealth capabilities and its significant performance in acceleration and maneuvering to escape from dangerous situations.
The manufacturer of these ships, remains unknown, speculation regarding its origins ranging from secret departments at Kuat Drive Yards and small, high-tech manufacturers in the Outer Rim, to a fully clandestine operation set up by the Wardens themselves.
