Taking inspiration from the wedge-shaped Imperial designs as well as ship designs from the Golden Age of the Sith, the Vitiate-Class Dreadnought was the second ship built following the original Tenebrae-Class Battleship's design template. Designed with the intent of acting as a support vessel to larger cruisers or Star Destroyers, as well as a patrol or escort ship it was another ship that was meant to fit into the Spirian Reform's wolfpack mentality. Though it was capable and fully equipped to act as a command ship for smaller task forces or battle groups. It garnered its namesake from Vitiate, an ancient dark side entity. Its firepower, presently, is 26 double turbolaser batteries, 30 laser cannons, 20 ion cannons, 10 warhead launchers, and 4 tractor beam projectors. Supplementing this arsenal was an advanced targeting system. It could carry a complement of 48 starfighters and bombers as well as a troop space for 4,000 men for boarding and planetary operations. Its redundant shield generators, combined with heavier than normal armor plating, allowed for the ship to withstand sustained volleys in combat, making it a hardy and resilient addition to the Blackguard's Navy. Due to the additional armor plating, this made the Vitiate-Class Dreadnought slower than other ships of its class.
