A hologram of a petite blonde girl appeared by Jair Crawford's side, and she held up a hand to forestall the bartender's act of pulling out a scatterblaster he kept for dealing with unruly patrons and folks who asked for water.
“Hello and welcome to The Scarlet Arya” said the peppy girl, “did you mean Blue Milk, sir?”
The way she intoned the beverage suggested that might be the best choice of drink over water at present, based on the grouchy looking bartender's expression.

Jair was slightly startled by the holo projection, but wasn't too deeply concerned.
"Well, as long as it hydrates well, then yes, I suppose Blue Milk will do just fine..."
Jair eyed the woman in the holo projection quizzically.
"Pardon me for jumping slightly... I didn't expect you to pop in so suddenly." Jair was also unaware that he had evidently gained the ire of the bartender earlier. It would appear clear to them both that he was quite focused on something.

The girl smiled and nodded at the bartender, who gave a small grunt, but his expression lightened a bit more. He eyed the man's attire, then just mumbled something unintelligible, but the girl arched an eyebrow at him before turning her attentions entirely on Jair.
“I do apologize for causing any sort of distress,” said the blonde girl sincerely, “here is your blue milk, please do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything else.”
The litany of her statements seemed a bit automated, but after that was finished, her expression softened and became more human, “You seem to have a lot on your mind...like you came here for a purpose. Is there any way I can be of assistance?”

Jair sipped the blue milk slowly, and thoughtfully. Going around telling people he didn't know that he was trying to recover lost memories was not something to do without some sense of caution. And unlike the woman who appeared to him on Coruscant, he did not recognize this woman. He didn't recognize the bartender either. In fact he didn't recognize anyone in the night club at all. That was to be expected though. It had been such a long time since he had been here last.
"I suppose you could say that I am a bit of a history enthusiast..." Jair decided to run with that cover story again since it worked so well on Coruscant. "I guess you could say... I'm here to discover history." His answer was perhaps a bit cryptic, but, again, he did not know these people. But it was true that he was not there for the typical vacation to Zeltros.

“Oh, I see!” said the girl, “Well, you're in luck. Zeltros is rich in history and culture, along with plenty of other leisure and activities for your enjoyment.”
She bowed her head lightly in Jair's direction, and finished with, “If you require any assistance from me, you can consult any Oasis Service Kiosk located in convenient places and I will be along shortly. If you experience any medical emergencies during your excursions, please utilize these beacons.”
The bartender tossed a solid, thumb-sized fob that clattered noisily on the bar in front of Jair, “The Zeltros Emergency Response teams will be with you in moments, no matter where you are. Thank you for visiting The Scarlet Arya, and we hope you enjoy your stay.”
The hologram slowly faded from view, still smiling.
“Annoying little yapper,” said the bartender as he shuffled away to serve another patron.

Jair could not help but smirk ever so slightly in amusement, after the bartender had walked away and the woman in the hologram had left, of course. There were always interesting people on Zeltros. After a few moments, however, he slipped away from the bar and went to an area of the nightclub that had several tables. A small group of patrons had just left the tables and headed outside, leaving the place, at least for the moment, rather quiet. This was good. Quiet was what he needed. He sat down at a table he used to sit at when he frequented the Scarlet Arya back in the day. He didn't need a "vision" or memory flash to remember it. He took another slow sip of the Blue Milk, sighed, and closed his eyes..

A couple from the group that had left earlier re-entered the bar, attempting to appear calm and serene, but underneath they were clearly a bit flustered. Particularly the man. Judging by their fancy regalia they were clearly very wealthy off-worlders who were vacationing on Zeltros. They approached the tables hastily, noticing the newcomer but seeming relatively unconcerned.
"There it is, dear. We left it at the table." The voice of a man could be heard, and a woman, responded. "Just where I thought it would be. Now see, there was nothing to worry about."
Judging by the tone of the mans voice, though relatively quiet and composed, there was a sense of exasperation to be heard. "We are fortunate that nobody stole it. That data pad has ALL of our banking information."
The woman replied; their voices getting quieter as they retrieved the data pad and turned to head back out; "But dearest, nobody did steal it. And it is rightfully back in our hands. Why must you always chase shadows?" At this comment, a small sigh could be heard from the man as they exited the night club.

"Why must you always chase shadows?" ... Jair's eyes shot open upon hearing this random patron say these words. She was not even speaking to him. She likely knew nothing about why he was even there, yet for some reason, that phrase reverberated through his mind... it was as if it was amplified by the Force itself. What did that mean? Before he could even give it much thought, however, another memory flashed before him, enveloping his senses...
He saw the Room of a Thousand Fountains again... that was odd. He was almost sure there was nothing more to be gleaned there, but before he could think further of it, he would soon realize he would not need to travel back to Coruscant at all, for the memory began to play out within his mind regardless. He saw himself speaking to a young woman with dark hair, at the pool where he meditated before. He did not fully recognize her, but he could see her now. And immediately he felt a deep wistful longing... who was she? Why could he not remember her? And why was he feeling this way?
~"And I can see it in you. Somehow, I can see it... there is something I have to tell you... ... I love you... ..."~
Her name was still obscured... Why, he had no idea. But wherever a name was lacking, those words "always chasing shadows" echoed loudly in his mind. That was a shock. Perhaps it shouldn't have been a shock, but given he could hardly remember this person, it was a shock to hear himself say these words... even so, as he heard them, that wistful longing grew deeper. Finally, he could hear someone responding back to him.
~"Y-you . . . love me . . . ? ... Jair, no . . . no . . . I . . . I can't . . . ... ... ... For your own good, find a way to stop feeling that way towards me! ... ... ... You just don't understand how much pain I've caused everyone else who I've ever loved... ... ... I'm sorry. Please just trust me when I say that you'd be better off with someone else . . ."~
No... there were clearly pieces missing here... but something was clear. This was a very real memory. One tough to swallow as that pestering wistful deep sense of longing would not relent, either. And yet he could not shake a sinking feeling that this was not something that would resolve well... but why? He still didn't know who she was, why he couldn't remember her, and why he was feeling this way.

[ Gwyn | The Bar | Scarlet Arya Nightclub | Zeltros ]A short, young, flame-haired girl entered the club, and though she herself did not know it, was projecting an aura and presence in the Force, but broken, shredded somehow. She looked quietly and awkwardly about, managing to catch the eye of at least three different people, though she made a point of keeping her gaze lowered and avoiding eye-contact at all costs. There was a haunted sense around her, and her gait, while graceful, also held a dangerous air. As she made her way towards the bar, one young man seemed eager to approach, but his friend held him back, shaking his head.
The bartender wordlessly leaned in towards her, waiting to see what she would order.
“Water, please,” said the girl.
It was almost comical how the music ground to a halt, and the sound of multiple people clapping their palms to their mouths reverberated around the room, and the bartender's eyes became a furious glare. The redhead looked up and finally realized her mistake.
“BLUE MILK!” she cried out, “Sorry...”
The music quietly resumed and the patrons audibly sighed in relief. The bartender grunted and almost slammed the beverage in front of her and she put the credit chits on the bar then held the cup in her hands, looking at the azure liquid as if it held the secrets of the universe for her.

"BLUE MILK!" For some reason, this startled Jair out of his visions and meditations so sharply that he instinctively stood up and motioned to grab his lightsaber hilt only... oh. That's right. He wasn't in his Jedi robes. He had kept his saber in his ship. Not the wisest decision. Still, he had drawn too much attention to himself with that. Too many people recognized an instinctive Jedi move like that. He instead shifted his focus to the newcomer instead, hoping that if he swiftly changed the subject, people would forget. Besides, he also wanted to make sure everything was ok.
He approached her gently, with a friendly demeanor. "Is everything alright?" He asked, although she might notice that the man who approached her seemed frazzled.

[ Gwyn | The Bar | Scarlet Arya Nightclub | Zeltros ] Attn: Jair CrawfordShe jumped in fright when the man spoke, despite his cautious approach, she was far too wound up to take any approach without a novel reaction. She dressed like a noble woman, albeit the clothing showed some signs of wear and had clearly seen better days. The man would have noticed her left hand made a similar motion like himself when she instinctively reached for a concealed lightsabre beneath her tunic, concealed but sporting a visible blue glow.
“No, good sir, everything is not,” said the redhead, her accent sounded Coruscanti, but inflected and strange, “your pardon for disrupting your...”
She glanced at him using her peripherals, and there was a growing tension within her, one more intense than before.
“You're a Jedi,” she whispered, so low, not even the bartender overheard her through the calm music playing, “why do you keep hunting me?”

Jair grew attentive for a moment as he absolutely noticed the woman do the exact same thing he had hoped others would not have noticed that he did just moments before... only she had apparently been wise to bring her saber with her. Nonetheless, he did not sense any threat from her at all, so he remained calm. Standing before her, he was still a bit dazed, and drained, from the overwhelming memories that flashed before him just moments before. And for that reason, he did not immediately sense that something was 'off' about this woman's signature in the Force. But as he stood, and listened to her speak, he slowly began to notice that this was very apparent.
He raised his eyebrows in genuine shock at her observation, and her question. He too lowered his voice to a whisper, and a look of concern and genuine honesty was apparent on his features.
"How did you know that? I'm trying to keep that under the radar right now..."
He looked around to make sure nobody was listening to them, before turning back to her and making himself completely one hundred percent clear.
"Ma'am, I do not know who you are. I was not, and am not, searching you out in any manner. I'm here for very personal reasons. The only thing I'm searching for is within myself."
Jair stopped himself from saying anything further... that might have been too much information already. He didn't know this woman. But that was the truth. What he was searching for... the memories he was trying to recover... they were strictly within himself. He was not there to "hunt" anyone, and he needed to make this clear to this woman now.

[ Gwyn | The Bar | Scarlet Arya Nightclub | Zeltros ] Attn: Jair CrawfordShe regarded him for a while, but her eyes refused to make direct contact with his. Instead, she studied his lips, his face, and his body, before she nodded, letting out a very tired sigh, and she lowered her head back to gaze into her still undrunk cup, her long red hair fell over her face, hiding it further from view.
“Okay,” said the girl, simply, “at least you're nice enough to converse instead of cutting me up like the last one...tried to explain...didn't want to kill...”
Tears spilled into her drink as she recalled that last battle. Ironic. Gutless Gwyn, was the name they gave her. And in that day, she took more lives than she'd ever wanted to, unleashing a power she had no business wielding. Well, her just punishment was being unable to use the Force any longer. Served her right.
Pulling herself out of her self-loathing, she tried to recall what else he'd just said to her, so she eventually looked towards him, again avoiding eye-contact.
“I see you,” she said simply, “what do you search within yourself for?”

Jair was hesitant to give away too much information to just anyone too quickly, but as he stood there, listening to her speak, continuing to sense her very bizarre signature in the Force, the more a sense of sympathy washed over him for her. Clearly something had happened, though he had by no means pieced any details together. He wasn't even trying to probe her mind, or really read her in any serious fashion at all. But for some reason, the nature of her signature in the Force made it so easy to read that he could not help but pick up on certain things without even trying. With that, he sensed there was no threat from her at all. He sensed that there very likely would not ever be an imminent threat from her in the near future. So he answered her question, quietly.
"Memories. Memories that I've... somehow lost..."
That wistful longing could be heard in his voice as the flashes he had been bombarded with moments before returned to his mind, albeit, a bit more gently this time. He sighed, before turning to the woman, and speaking again quietly, calmly, and empathetically.
"Forgive me if this is out of turn but... I... somehow sense you might be on a somewhat similar journey..."

[ Gwyn | The Bar | Scarlet Arya Nightclub | Zeltros ] Attn: Jair CrawfordMemories...so this man was a partial amnesiac? That would be...incredible. She wanted so very much to forget, especially all her most recent memories. Oh she knew she was bringing great shame to her family, it was why she rarely used her family name. Since the repercussions were more widespread than just herself. No matter what, she didn't wish ill for anyone, so she kept her name so closely guarded, she rarely even referred to herself in her mind by her name.
She couldn't get much of a read on the man, but then, she'd been reliant on the Force for such things. Normally by now she'd at least have had a passive reading on him, but as she did not...perhaps could not, touch the Force, she only had her Nùe senses to rely on, and they were about as good as a baseline human's.
When he offers that she was on a similar journey to him, she laughs, but so softly, one would have to lean against her to actually feel or hear the laugh. Yet her voice was laced with a painful, desperate hope, when she next speaks.
“Is...is there a way, I could lose my memories?” she finally locked eyes with him, and he could see the dead blue irises for the first time properly, “Some of it, at least? But could I...could I forget? I want that. My name is Guinevere...Iruwendl...you may call me Gwyn.”

"Well Gwyn it is a pleasure to meet you. I'm..."
Jair looked around and continued to keep his voice a whisper.
"Jair Crawford. Jedi Knight from Felucia, and formerly from the Coruscant Temple."
He continued to sense such an oddity in her signature. It betrayed all of her emotions so easily. It was not often at all that he sensed someone signature like this. And the pain, guilt, and shame he sensed radiating from her was immense. He himself almost felt bad for paying attention to it, as he still was not even attempting to probe her mind at all. He tilted his head quizzically in response to her question...
"You wish to... intentionally lose memories... ? Wh-" Jair stopped himself. "Forgive me. That was a rather dumb question for me to ask you." "Why?" ... "Really"? "Why" ... as if one could not sense all the reasons why emanating directly from her signature. This woman had gone through much pain. Of course there were things she wanted to forget.
"There... probably are ways to do that... but they would be dangerous. There would be no way to guarantee that you don't lose more than you ask for. And... I don't know anyone who knows how to do it. I myself am still at a loss as to how it happened to me... one of the many things I am trying to figure out is just how I lost these memories in the first place..."

[ Gwyn | The Bar | Scarlet Arya Nightclub | Zeltros ] Attn: Jair CrawfordOf course...when was anything ever easy? If her early life was anything to go by, even after her benefactor took her under her wing, she still struggled to gain entry into Brickwood Fairwater just to ply her trade and produce. She was not surprised at Jair for being confused. Here he was, looking to regain lost memories, and there she was, looking to lose her memories...her pain. And that was not bringing into the fact she could still feel the Force, but could no longer touch it. Like there was an invisible barrier between it and her.
Or it truly was her punishment. That Force Storm was unlike anything anyone (that she knew of) had ever seen. A power unprecedented. The cost was her access to the Force.
“How do you do, Jair Crawford,” said Gwyn softly, it seemed she was always very soft in tone, and the music helped mask her voice to all but the sharpest eared individuals, “It is perfectly normal to ask such a question. Not many seek to forget...but I do, and I am willing to risk it all, even if it renders me a babe in mind, I will take it.”
Once again, there was a desperate fervour in her voice. If just with the merest touch of her mind, they would see what she projected. The scorched surface, her hands, caked with dirt, grime, and blood. Greenish black clouds covered the sky, and bluish-white lightning cracked and tore through the air, the deafening rumble and explosions of thunder drowning out her wailing and crying. The ground littered with bodies. Jedi, Sith, stormtroopers, Knights of Ren, all united in the fact that they were scorched and dead. Her hands covering her face as she wept for what she had wrought.
Blood seeped between her fingers.

Jair didn't probe her mind. Not truly. But he did take an ever so slight glance. He saw the sights of what was projected. It was but a mere flash, but all of the information was there. A violent storm. Significant death. And an immense guilt. He felt for her. He didn't know the whole story, and now was not the time to ask. But he felt for her. One thing he did notice was how different it felt for him to read what she was projecting from the Force, compared to the flashes of his own lost memories coming back to him. This further confirmed that his own quest was to unlock lost memories. But that had been beyond doubt for a while now.
"I can't make you forget, but I can try to help calm your mind..." Jair offered her empathetically. "I know how to use the Force to calm the mind. I am willing to help if you allow me to."

[ Gwyn | The Bar | Scarlet Arya Nightclub | Zeltros ] Attn: Jair CrawfordShe listened to what he offered. Would it really help? Calming her? But would it be permanent? Or would she need him to keep doing it to help her alleviate the stress and guilt? Even the physical pain she was beginning to feel in her chest. Would it really help in the long run? She was a Sith without the Force, or at least without the ability to use it...and that was a strange thing by itself!
“I'm so tired...” said Gwyn, and she dipped her head, almost leaning towards him, “...I wish...no, I need to forget, Jair. I cannot bear this overlong. I accept your boon, and in turn, I will journey with you on your quest, if you would have me.”
Her offer was twofold, of course. She could not use the Force herself, and she would be dependent on him. It was also her instinct, as she had only ever served masters and lords and ladies, never did she get served, thus, she intended to become this Jair's servant. After all, he was a Knight. What was a Knight without at least one squire?

Jair very gently held his palm to her forehead, and closed his eyes, letting the Force work through him. This momentary distraction had given him some time to recuperate his senses, and his strength for the time being. Though he sensed his time on Zeltros was not yet finished either.
More flashes from her mind could be seen as he focused on sending calming waves of tranquility into her mind. It would not be permanent, but for the moment she would probably feel some semblance of relief. It would, at the very least, take the edge off of the most painful emotions she was feeling, much like a soothing balm. As he was doing this he could see the storm more clearly. It looked almost as if it came from her. He wouldn't question it. At least, not now. He still sensed no threat from her.
"Relax, for now. Let your mind give way to what I'm doing, and it will work better. You are more than welcome to accompany me." Jair added, not at all knowing her intentions of serving him, as that was not something he could sense in the Force from her mind. The only thing he could pick up on was her language. That she would accompany him in turn for what he was doing. He did not quite understand what she meant by this, as he did not consider her to have owed him anything, but he wouldn't question it now. "That is, when it is time for me to go off-world... I sense... that I still have some secrets yet to unlock here in this place..."
