Just like the thread says, I'm looking for the rules on making this character a cyborg. Aside: yes, I'm aware of the stigma that will be fall on this character when found out. Just looking for the specs on keeping it legal and fair but fun. Like Grievous, but not OPed.

First off, welcome back to JvS!
Secondly, got a general idea for your cyborg to present? Cause I think cyborgs are fine as long as they aren't just OP.

I was thinking about him being like Vader. About 75% cyborg without the Force. Have his limbs made out to be some sort of super metal like phrik (this way this way it's tough but vulnerable to Force lightening), while making his spine, chest and nervous system augmented/reinforced.

We do have some new rules on super metals here. Not sure if it would work at the start, but perhaps, just a thought, you could start off with a relatively normal metal casing. Maybe throw some beskar bits here and there. Then, as a part of your character's story, perhaps they go off to collect the means to upgrade their suit's protective casing. Honestly, considering this is more for character flavor, I don't think it should be an issue. But thought I'd throw in the new rules for metals just to show what's change.

That was the goal, and being a Mando would be a lot easier than just saying Phrik but I wanted to balance it to be fair with weaknesses as to not be OPed. I guess I can can write that into his back story and have the Beskar limbs already for play but have them at 75% functionally cooperative. Thanks for the reference Nic.

A good thought process. Shouldn't be a hard thing then considering the mindset you have with this idea of yours. Figured I'd offer this suggestion as a ways to gather your materials and thus have reference for it in the future. Plus, character development is always a hell of a story to do!

Hey, if you ever want to replace your robot parts with people parts, you give me a ring. I know somebody who can make that happen ;-)
