"The infidel and the Jeedai are wary of the darkspace these years. They are splintered yet united still. I had initially thought of attacking Bespin, which isn't to much further up the hyperpace lane we are on currently." *Tzu Shai let a raspy breath out of his nose while he pondered a bit more on the idea.* "We would need to gather information on them, not just what patterns and what they fly in. But on the ground, when they receive resources and when they send them. These planets I had initially targeted had monetary wealth connected to them, and the blockade of Bespin would effectively cut one of the fuel resources the infidel have."
*Tzu watched his fellow Overload. and would see how he would react to the idea he had came up with years ago before even leaving Tur Yenagh for the last time. Praetorites usually weren't so easy to get along with, usually due to them always having something to sneak about with, however with the consideration that there was no one for either of these two warriors to answer two he could safely trust Esthh.*

"Bespin, home of the beldon..."
Esthh's eyes shifted back and forth as his mind ran through what he knew of the planet, not necessarily the planet, but the creatures found on it.
"Beldons excrete a blaster gas that the infidels use in their energy weapons in large quantities to enhance their energy weapons, it is that creature that made my Yaret-Lam possible...cutting off the supply of this resource may be more profitable to us in the long run. Our forces would encounter less potent fire from the infidels machines."

"So we are agreed? The tactical stand point for the attack is sound, and the monetary gains we could net from captured vessels and their cargo would make it worth it. I guess what we would need to find out next, is who is in charge of the planet and who he answers to." *Tzu stared back to Esthh. He was pleased, and his mqaaq'it reflected that in green tint, that the Praetorite found the idea of embargoing Bespin and sacking the planet to be advantageous on more than just one front. From what Tzu could recall about the intelligence gathered on the planet, it was under rule of a powerful entity. But powerful entities rise and fall as the stars and moons do. Tzu received word that the cities were conquered and that the troops were now positioning themselves and setting up patrols to be ran to ensure that the conquest holds over through the night.*

Tzu Shai stopped, as news came in from his fleet. His mqaaq'it immediately shifted from violet to a blood red, he turned his gaze back to Esthh.
"My fleet spotted what appeared to be a Ssi-Ruuk fleet drop out of hyperspace before leaving immediately. The only reason that they would do something like that, would be that they had seen our fleets. We cannot let the universe know of are re-emergence of the Yuuzhan Vong. They have tracked where they must have came from, Alzoc III." Shortly after finishing his statement he issued an order for the Hunters, Slayers, and Voxyn to board the Yorik-trema and head back to the Vua'Spar in orbit. He issued an order as well for the Yorik-Slayers to head up and dock within the Vua'Spar and prepare for combat. In moments the ground was a flurry of movement as Slayers and Hunters followed by bounding Voxyn came out of the city and lay in wait for the Yorik-Trema to make the many trips it would take to get the 400 units back onto the Vua'Spar.

Yoman Domain Shai stood tall and proud upon an unnamed hill that overlooked one of the few cities on Varonat. It had a name he was sure, but he knew not what it was. He did not care to learn what it was either, for it would have a new name soon. A new name given by the priests, delivered by the Gods. Only then would he step foot inside of it. He had no reason to do so now, the vermin that closeted themselves inside of it was not worth his time, nor his talents in battle. His warriors would clean the city out when they were ordered. They would be quick and efficient, sweeping every street, corner, nook, and cranny there was. Their screams would be heard from all over the planet, possibly even from the very hill that he stood upon now. His scarred fingers tightened around the amphistaff he held in his hands. The mere thought of spilling those pathetic lifeforms blood almost stirred him into joining the front ranks. It had been too long since he had allowed himself the pleasure of killing the infidels. Too long since he had let his amphistaff feed upon their still hot blood. He could not allow it however. If he went into that city he would not stop slaying the humans until every last one was dead. That was not allowed. He himself had decreed that those that knew how to work the abomin- ... the machines that the humans used, would live.
Yes. The Yuuzhan Vong were moving in a different direction now. During the last war with the Jeedai, a small sect of his people began to use the infidels machines. An entire new religion had been based around it, using some prophet and the Goddess Yun Shuno as their holy guidance. It was these people that they were allied with now. His leader, his cousin, Tzu Shai was the one he followed now, and it was he that said these were also their brothers. That they would be accepted into their ranks, their folds. Not only that, their very ideals were to become part of theirs. That the Yuuzhan Vong would all begin using the infidels abominations, their "machines". This was why Yoman Shai would remain out of the battle. This is why he would not go and kill all of the humans that hid in their lifeless hovels. Yoman did not yet approve of this new way for his people. He would sooner spill as much blood as possible, then let loose the shapers beasts to recycle and reform this planet. He was not capable of.. mercy. His warriors however were capable of obedience, and if his orders said to spare humans and their technology then they would. Even if their leader was not so capable..

*Tzu Shai saw his cousin shortly after he had issued the commands for the fleet to prepare to follow the Ssi-ruuk vermin through darkspace back to their hiding hole. He turned and approached his rather obviously displeased Warmaster. His eyes were still red from the agitation that intruders in orbit could possibly ruin their secret new home.* "Warmaster Yoman, you are displeased? You do not think we should spare any of the infidels do you?" *His violet eye sacks inflamed slightly with just the idea, his cousin had been with him through much and had served the Yun'o and the Yuuzhan Vong faithfully through it all.*
"We are no longer alone in the Unknown Regions, the Great War was lost due to our inability to adapt and sheer belief that the Priests truly spoke the words of the Yun'o." *Tzu Shai was once a zealot, his complete adherence to the Yun'o and their Priest's words had led him into battle after battle, some where won but the war was lost. Tzu Shai faith was still unwavering, the Yun'o had given this universe to the Yuuzhan Vong, and Tzu Shai would ensure that within his lifetime his people had enthralled the known verse.*

Esthh followed Tzu over to his Warmaster as the Matalok lifted off the ground in utter silence, something the infidels would no doubt find disturbing, and climbed skyward to take the place of the other Matalok in a defensive orbit.
"Many of these infidels shall become Thralls to fight and slay other infidels, there is always a purpose."

A Yuuzhan Vong appeared ignoring the war master and the other Yuuzhan Vong, he quickly approached the Supreme One. His name was Vua Jamaane, a fearsome Executor and a master of disguise and trickery as well as combat to a degree. His right eye had a plaeryin bol and the other was green.
Hail favored of Yun-Yammaka and Yun-Yuuzhan. I trust our invasion is doing well, is it time for me to go out and mingle among these infidels? The priests have revealed to me that Yun-Harla has given us her blessing in this act. We must not squander it, I advise you to release me off of this world so that I may gather information on the infidel.
Vua paused for a second.
Do you have any targets that Yun-Yuuzhan and the priests see as major threats to our cleansing of these infidel worlds?

After a brief moment of communication through his villip Tzu turned to the Executor that had approached him, it was Vua Jamaane, a perfect intendant to send on this mission. "We are planning to strike at Bespin, it would be very advantageous to have you there giving us both the input and guidance that Yun-Harla and the Yun'o have given you." Of all the Yuuzhan Vong, Tzu was most wary of the Intendant caste, their slick way with words and how well they operated within the twilight made them a very cunning group. "The invasion has gone smoothly, the Yun'o have smiled upon us this day as we proceed to grow stronger in their favour."
Tzu felt proud at this moment, they may have spotted infidels in wait in orbit, but they had taken the planet. And for the first time in a long time the Yuuzhan Vong had somewhere they could call home. The gift that the Yun'o had given them would not be forgotten today, and once the preparations had finished Tzu Shai looked forward to spending time in the Embrace of Pain in reverence to Yun-Yammka and Yun-Yuuzhan.

Is it favored by Yun-Yuuzhan to take out any infidels that may pose a threat to the bidding and will of Yun-Yuuzhan and Yun-Yammaka? Or, shall I ask when I get there O favored of the Gods. He would almost immediately take off to the planet once his questions had answers. He was not one to wait.

"Ask when you arrive to the infidel planet, but if you were to ask any of the Yun'o it should be Yun'Harla." His piercing green mqaaq'it turn to the Executor, and his tone turned to a much sharper note displaying the importance of the next sentence he spoke. "We cannot be discovered, not this deep, and not this soon. Yun'Yuuzhan has demanded this of us, we must stay within the shadows." Hoping that the Intendant would leave his presence soon after he had spoken, he turned back to the Warriors that were still with him, waiting for his cousin Yoman's response.

Just as quickly as he appeared, he had vanished into the many jungles of Varonat into their shadows. He understood his mission and took a few minutes to himself to figure out where to go. He would more than likely head to Tropis and assume the identity of a slave. He would have to get to Bespin without being seen but he was ready for it. He said a quiet prayer to Yun-Harla and then moved on into the city. He did not need to know about how the battle would go. He knew that if he was caught, he would have to use his Irksh poison that he kept in a false tooth. His mission was to important to be found out. Possibly, he could sneak in undetected which is what he wanted. Gather his information and then leave. His usual background of businessman from a distant planet seeking to gather resources for an expansion or something along those lines. All the lies that Executors use to get past infidels, they all start to blur. Losing sight of the Supreme Ovelord, he made his way to Tropis.

Yoman turned and regarded his cousin Tzu. His eyes smoldered as he regarded the one chosen to lead the Yuuzhan Vong.It feels wrong cousin. I cannot believe the gods truly bless our actions..His hands tightened upon his amphistaff once more. But if the Priests and yourself have been told otherwise.. then I shall obey. For the glory of the Yuuzhan Vong! His eyes turned once more towards the city that he had been observing. He was troubled, very troubled, and he did not like it. Yoman Shai was not one to become troubled, or question his orders. He had been made to be a warrior since he was born, he proved it when he had killed his twin brother. He had been following orders since then without hesitation or question. When he assumed the mantle and responsibility of Supreme Overlord for a time, he had lead his people as sure as he had always been. Only now did he question his orders and his duty. Only now did he feel as if he would waver. Even after he had spent the entire journey to this world in prayer. Even after he had mutilated himself ritualistically, and spent days inside the embrace of pain. Warriors did not often hear from the Yun'o, and he had never been blessed enough to be one of the few that did. That had never bothered him before. He served faithfully and that was enough. An answer now would be a relief.. but he doubted that would happen. Until the gods told him otherwise, he would continue to serve as he always had. Even if it tempted his faith in the Yun'o.

"It is wrong...to the priests who had led us into this galaxy behind a mad Vong." Tzu himself was uncomfortable with this, he had a displeasing feeling within him regarding the use of the infidel technology, and personally wouldn't touch a piece even if it meant the difference between his life and death. His eye sacks inflamed slightly from the thought of actually using one of the abominations that this galaxy clung to. "We will use them, and once their ways have broken. We will dispose of that which is not holy."
He took a step back, tilting his head a bit while he gazed into the fury that was his cousin's eyes. "It is the way it must be. Using them, might even keep our presence this deep into the galaxy unknown for longer than expected." The large staff that coiled about his arm, none other than the Scepter of Power, looked up towards Tzu before nestling it's head into his palm. Stroking the top of its head, causing his finger to be slowly cut and the pain to ebb throughout him he looked back to his cousin's eyes. "For the glory of the Yuuzhan Vong!"

His cousin felt uncomfortable as well, Yoman could feel it. That only served to make him feel worse. None of this felt right, none at all. Not to him, not to the Supreme Overlord, and not to many of the warrior caste. Yoman's subordinates reported talk among the warriors, talk that sounded dangerously like insubordination. Many had been punished, a few even killed for treason. Yoman wondered if it really was treason to name your superiors blasphemers when it was true. No, none of this sat right with his insides. They squirmed uncomfortably, made it impossible to keep himself nourished. His peoples entire way of life, their entire religion that their whole species based their lives, was about to change. Who were they, Tzu, himself, his other trusted attendees, who were they to decide on this life altering decision? Dangerous thoughts for a warrior, for the Warmaster. Such thoughts should be left to the Intendants and Priests. Let them debate long into the seasons changing on how this would affect the Yuuzhan Vong. Yoman Shai would continue serving the will of the gods, he would slay their enemies and ensure the future and glory of the Yuuzhan Vong. If it turned out that the priests and glorified secretaries were wrong, if it proved to be that they were false, then Yoman Domain Shai, Warmaster of the Yuuzhan Vong, would kill them all.
Yes. All glory to the Yuuzhan Vong!
His eyes drifted to the scepter or power that coiled itself around his cousins arm. He used to have one himself, he doubted that was the same one. His had probably died some time after he was.. removed from his station. He did not feel jealous, or angry at his relative for succeeding where he had failed. Quite the opposite in fact, secretly he felt relief. He had not failed the Yuuzhang Vong.. but he had not brought them forward either. They had merely.. survived under his reign. Yoman was much more suited for the position of Warmaster. He was a thud bug, made to be directed at a target, thrown, and obliterate whatever it was that he struck. He was a weapon, a tool to be used in service to the Supreme Overlord, and the gods. He liked it better that way. This way when those few above him decided that the infidel technology would be used, he just had to obey. He did not have to question it. Not yet anyhow. For now he would serve. If the questions did not go away, or if he did not like the answers he was given.. then he would cross (and then burn) that bridge when he came to it. Still.. he doubted he would ever stop feeling uneasy about this. After all...
It was a race of machines that destroyed our peoples birthplace...

"You speak the truth cousin, but this isn't something I had came with from myself. The priests on board my Vua'Spar, that of the Yun-Harla sect had brought it to me." If Tzu was one to physically display his emotions, now would be an applicable time to frown. However he did not, instead his eye sacks inflamed and his mqaaq'it slid from the violet hue that they had been in to that of a deep sanguine red. "And the Yuuzhan Vong will not be using the infidel's abominations, but we must know them." Tzu knew that much from what the priests and priestesses had told him was true, in order to truly overcome an obstacle or enemy one had to understand them. But that was something he would leave the Intendant and Priest to study and theorize over. He was a slayer, a warrior, and the only one of the Yun'o that Tzu held in high regard was Yun-Yammka.
"Yun-Yammka is with us Warmaster Yoman, we will take each planet that our feet touch." Shifting from red the eyes lofted into a green. Tzu was sure that the Yun'o had willed them here, and that the Yuuzhan Vong would soon receive that which the Yun'o had promised them long ago. "The Yun'o has given this Universe to us, but it is our duty as children of the Yun'o to take claim to it. To fight for it, die for it, and suffer for it. Nothing can be free, not for us, not for the chosen race."

Yoman glanced at the shaper standing near his Supreme Overlord, the one that could call up holographic images from his body, and snorted. No. We won't attempt to make use of the infidel abominations at all, will me?
He was not one to use sarcasm, and he was never insubordinate. It was a testimony to how angry and frustrated with the way things were moving. The Yuuzhan Vong had followed the will of the gods since they were created. The will of the gods had decreed anything that did not live was sacrilegious. Something that was proven when the race of sentient machines had wiped out their people, and destroyed their home planet. That was a history lesson that every child of the Yun'o learned no matter their caste, or standing within that caste. Everyone knew how their birthplace had been wiped out by the cold, and dead species. The Yuuzhan Vong had never trusted or used such things again, and they had certainly not allied themselves with other races that did. Now here they were, wiling to touch, and actually learn how such things worked! Yes, his cousin was correct; Yoman Shai was not happy with his decision. He was downright furious with it!
Yun Harla has decreed.. I shall follow, Commander.
Furious or not, he would never disobey a command from a goddess herself. He wouldn't think about it for even a moment. Even still, he wished to consult with a priest that he trusted. How far could they trust the word of the trickster goddess? Was it not her way to sow discord, and strife? Was it her wish to test the faith of her children? If they began to learn how these worked.. would that not eventually lead to the trust and use of such things? Would the gods look upon them so favorably then? Would they be pleased that they had followed Yun Harla's command? Or would they rain down death and destruction upon them? Would the Yuuzhan Vong cease to exist for going back on their faith? He shook himself slightly and went back to peering out towards the nearby human city. Warriors should not debate such things, it was their place to follow the word of the gods, handed down to the priests. Still.. he was no simple warrior anymore. He had been Warmaster for years, spent a brief period as Supreme Overlord himself. He had gone beyond simple, blind obedience. It was good that he was speaking to his cousin about this. If anyone were able to soothe his fears it would be him. Or to prove him that he was correct...

"We will not be using their technology Warmaster Yoman!" His voice growled out at his cousin and his violet eye sacks inflamed greatly, showing his displeasure at the slightly sardonic comment that his cousin had spoken to him. Tzu Shai may be dancing on the line with heresy with wanting to understand the enemy technology, but that was a line he would not cross. He was a Yuuzhan Vong, and he was full of pride at the gift of being born chosen by the Yun'o.
"You think that the Jeedai, and their friends didn't cut our people open?" His voice spat out, his mqaaq'it displaying the only colour that could appropriately display his anger with even having to utter these words to his own blood. "Dissect our ships and biots? As we destroy their machines we will learn of their workings. We will find a means and common weakness that these mechanical abominations share with one another. And we will exploit that weakness!" He was furious the whole conversation had sparked him into a rage. The thought of his brothers stretched over chairs, their spirits having returned to the Yun'o while the Jeedai cut them open and defiled their corpses. His fist clenched and the Scepter of Power wreathed along his waist, tightening and loosening with each of Tzu's breaths. Tzu would find what weakness he could in the infidel's technology and he would exploit it, it was commanded by Yun-Harla and the priests.

Esthh's eyes narrowed at the barely concealed slight from Yoman Shai. Pure warriors were always the easiest to deceive, and the quickest to deceive themselves.
"There are no metal things on my body or in my armor but were grown there by biots Yoman Domain Shai. Nor are there any abominable machines grown onto my living ships or anything else! Just because the infidels abominations are abominations does not mean that they do not have things to teach us! In the Unknown Regions we had to fend for ourselves. Cut off from supplies,"
He gestured at Yoman.
"Or fresh troops to replace losses. We had to adapt, and used what we had available and what gifts we were given from the gods to continue our campaign until Shimraa's Fall from Grace and we were hunted by those who once called us brothers! If you are too close minded to see new things, perhaps you could ask a shaper to open your mind a bit..."

Yoman turned slowly, his eyes glittering and teeth bared in rageThat sounded an awful lot like a threat Shaper! Need the Warmaster remind you that a Shaper needs only his hands to do his work? ... and not a tongue? The little worm actually thought to threaten him! He, the Warmaster of the Yuuzhan Vong! The thought of such a thing was an outrage. His hand clenched in anger, and the three fighting claws embedded in his right hand slid out in response. The skin bled where split, and the pain that spiked in his hand was both intense and satisfactory. The claws could rip though the alien metals, it would cleave through the Shapers head like jelly. A fitting end to one that was giving him such an ache in his head. Shapers were always on hand, a Master would be easy to replace Yoman was sure. No one would miss one such as this. Let the gods tell him what they thought of mimicking the infidels machines and technologies.
