*Ellie took in a slow breath when she heard the Admirals voice respond. She had to pick her words wisely if she wanted to gain his suppott.* "I actually came to ask for a favor. One that's been turned down several times already. The thing is, I know the location of where those slavers came from. Nobody else seems interested in pursuing them and putting them down for good. Which is why I came to you. Since you already helped me once, I figured you might help me once more."
*Ellie almost held her breath waiting for a response. She knew it wasn't the most persuasive speech, but it was honest and straight to the point.*

That would be an interesting matter indeed. Pellaeon considered carefully what he had to work with. He'd be taking his forces, without support, into an utter unknown. That was reckless and fool hardy, still. He hated slavers more than most. Perhaps she had more than just a location to give? That would be helpful. Pellaeon decided he'd invite her aboard and get a better understanding of the game at hand, and her motive for playing it.
Come aboard and I will discuss this with you further.
Pellaeon decided to use one of the briefing rooms just off the hangar for the conference. Mostly for convince but also because it would be a good place to judge her plan and commitment to the cause. She certainly sounded willing enough to go through with the attack, but the fact of the matter was that the only data he had didn't paint her in the most daring of lights. She had spent the entire engagement hiding behind cover, true she was outgunned and carrying valuable cargo, but some of his officers were arrogant enough to believe that they would have acted with more courage, or bravado at the least. It would be important to settle that matter quickly, though Pellaeon doubted the arrogance of his officers was worth it's weight in electrons, it still needed to be addressed.
Pellaeon stood on the hangar deck, near the landing pad where the Gladiator would be directed to land. He waited patiently, and alone, as the craft landed and her pilot disembarked. Being the soul figure not bustling about his business, and the rather obvious rank insignia on his chest and shoulders made him easy to spot. Having caught the pilot attention, he beckoned her to follow him into the briefing room, and then entered himself, not waiting for her to catch up. He suppressed a laugh, as he noticed the room was not unoccupied, though he couldn't see the other occupants in their current position behind the seats in the back of the room. He coughed twice to announce his presence, and took a seat in the front of the room his back to the lover's he'd interrupted. He recognized, from his academy days, the sounds of uniforms being hastily and almost quietly donned. The pair stayed out of sight, and froze when the door opened again to admit Ellie into the room.
Aurel indicated that Ellie should take the podium from which a commander would usually address the pilots about to launch. He wanted to know how she planned to go about this, and what better way to present her argument than as a briefing?
"You desire the use of my men and material in your personal crusade. Admirable as it may be, I'm not sure I'm ready to cast them away into the emptiness of space just yet, certainly not a stranger's whim. Convince me your crusade is worth their blood."

The corvette came out of hyperspace to meet the rest of its fleet. However, a new ship had joined its ranks, the Praetorian, a newly completed Imperial-II Class star destroyer. The prototype ship docked with the Avenger and Vlusu hurried into his office, where he got a glass of wine before sitting down to await the arrival of Berserker.

The small corvette came out of hyperspace to a very impressive sight indeed. Vlusu's entire fleet made quite the spectacle. And the fleet was clustered around an even more impressive creation. For at the center of the fleet was the Malevolent, a brand-new Resurgent-Class battlecruiser. As soon as the two ships docked, he made his way to the command bridge and contacted the Avenger. Admiral. Shall we get underway? Vlusu nodded in the affirmative, and the various ships entered hyperspace.

*Ellie stepped up to the podium in front of Pellaeon and let out a slow breath.* "I understand your reason to question my motives in concerns for your soldiers. There is a good reason as to why your men would be willing to fight. These pirates are part of a larger group of slavers that is run by a rouge force user. Their snagging up anyone who they believe to be force sensitive in an attempt to amass an army. To what end, I don't know. Right now they're sitting on the edge of First Order space. They've been making small raids into First Order territories and harassing freighters and taking citizens captive, your citizens. If left to their own devices, these slavers are going to get even bolder in their attacks and having am army of force sensitives at your doorstep isn't exactly a welcoming thought."
*She stepped back some and stared Pellaeon square in the eye.* "They're dangerous, I've seen what they're capable of doing first hand. Their leader is unpredictable and his motives are still a mystery to me. All I know is that he's after something, quite possibly dangerous at that." *Pausing for a second, Ellie wasn't really sure how to end the speech properly.* "I'm sorry that I don't have anything more convincing. After being turned down several times, I really wasn't sure i would even make thus far."

Pellaeon was ... less than impressed, he'd hoped for a bit more forethought on her part. Still, he wasn't keen to turn her away. He knew she was right, and that this would be a problem if allowed to fester and grow. Still... she hadn't given him anything he could get past his superiors. Time to play contrair corsair and see if she had the answers to his questions, or was just blindly hoping she'd stumbles across them. He spoke in a clear and clipped manner, keeping his tone professional.
"So we have a minor pirate faction, that may or may not be targeting force sensitives, on the fringe of a still growing order? Normal sector defense forces will grow to meet the security demand, and the knights of Ren, as well as several .... unsavory, lords and moffs could easily bring the group into the First Order's fold. That would stabilize our borders and bring a loose cannon into line with more ... direct views of the galaxy's future. So why should the first order expend precious resources, weakening ourselves in other places of great strategic importance, for the lives of a few unfortunate souls that are likely long gone or dead by now anyway? Even if, as you say, we end up with an army of force sensitives at our doorstep, the First Order has learned many lessons from it's predecessors, including how to most efficiently combat force users, we will face and crush this threat as we every other to date."
Pellaeon waited for her response, and for both their sake hoped she could at least bring something to the table that he could get his superiors to pass off. A simple rescue mission, for thousands, possibly millions of people... well, there wasn't anywhere to put them, and transporting them home, rehabilitating them, that would all cost resources, not just credits, that could be more efficiently used to supply the expansion and consolidation efforts else where. yes, some of them would be happy to help, but how many would actually be capable and skilled enough to be worth the effort? Probably not enough... and with it being mostly force users, his superiors were more likely to order a burn mission than a rescue mission. They had all the force users they wanted, even if a few more couldn't really hurt, they weren't keen to pick up more "spooks."

Above Yaga Minor, the entire Remnant Fleet came out of hyperspace. It had certainly been a while since the ships had docked with a proper station. As they docked, Cicero disembarked and observed the transference of supplies to his ships, while the troops got a much-needed rest.

Having finished their resupply and repairs, the fleet undocked from the shipyard and turned away from Yaga Minor. On the bridge of the Herculean, Cicero bit his lip. Working with the First Order would mean they could establish a permanent base. And he had the perfect planet in mind. Though it was steeped in the history of the Sith, he knew that could be erased with some clever design work. Escaping from the gravity well of Yaga Minor, his ships jumped into hyperspace, all towards the Inner Rim.

In orbit of Yaga Minor, Admiral Needa’s fleet came out of hyperspace. As the various ships came out of hyperspace shortly after the Crusader, Admiral Needa was again examining data, this time regarding the DS-1 Planetary Battlestation. More specifically, he was looking for other flaws that may have been in the design. While it wasn’t necessary, he enjoyed doing such examinations. His face was only lit by the glow coming off the holoscreen as the door opened and Captain Veers stepped in. A curious man he was. His family had been killed by the empire, and yet he had joined it with a fanatical devotion. Informing him that the fleet had moved out of hyperspace, and that they were standing by, he turned off the holoscreen. There would be time for this later. As the various warships in the fleet docked with the massive shipyard, he boarded his Sigma-Class Shuttle alone with his Death Troopers and lifted off the floor of the Star Destroyer. After he returned, he would almost certainly transfer his flag to the smaller but more familiar Procursator-Class Star Destroyer. However, he set this thought aside as his shuttle moved away from the gravity well of Yaga Minor and jumped into hyperspace towards Niruan.

The shipyards of Yaga Minor had seen a great increase in productivity and orders, not seen since the height of the Third Galactic Civil War. Though the reasons behind it were kept hush by superior officers and government officials, the workers still did their job, under the watchful eye of Stormtroopers and their overseers. They didn't need to be coerced to work, but it gave them a sense of security to see visible First Order soldiers moving around the shipyards and keeping an eye on everything. Fresh Star Destroyers, cruisers, frigates and all sorts of vessels were being churned out, not only from this shipyard but also Foerost, Kuat, Bilbringi and elsewhere. New fuel for the First Order war machine, the workers called it. Whatever was being planned, the Emperor was pleased to see the effective shipyards of Yaga Minor do their job well in enlarging the Imperial Navy.

The Yaga Minor Defensive Squadron, which had split off from the main force at Bastion, consisting of 1 Regulator-Class Star Destroyer, 1 Regulator-Class Star Destroyer, 1 Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser, and 2 Carrack-Class Light Cruisers, along with several Lancer-Class Frigates and Arquitens-Class Command Cruisers. The various craft set up a loose defense above the planet, but notably, they had arrayed themselves in a screening formation to protect against smugglers and other such bandits, but still able to protect itself against attack from outside. However, the ships very evidently are not intended to subjugate the planet, and this is due to the high degree of loyalty the population of Yaga Minor had showed to the Empires before it. The Rear Admiral of the fleet was confident in the fleet's ability to defend the system.

Shortly after the annexation of Coruscant, and the resulting transitioning of the capital, a new construction began within Yaga Minor's shipyards. Three Resurgent battlecruisers, on orders of the Emperor, and commanded by Vice Admiral Auguste Rendrake, reported as a security detail for the shipyards for the duration of the construction. This shipyard was once more graced with the honor of building a powerful warship for the Imperial Navy, a Bellator-class Dreadnought, codenamed Enduring Conviction. It was to serve as the flagship for a new command, the Malleus Squadron, that would patrol the Imperial territories of the Outer Rim and assist with fleet operations in these Rimward sectors.
From the bridge of the Hyperion, one of the battlecruisers that would make up the new command, Admiral Rendrake watches the skeleton of his new flagship take shape over Yaga Minor. This reorganization meant that the Ars Moriendi would remain the Coreward territories to assist in operations there, alongside the Emperor's personal fleet. Still, despite their smaller numbers, Rendrake was confident in this new command. With the combine strength of these three Resurgents and their Bellator command ship, Rendrake believed it would be a boon to the Outer Rim. Certainly, the change of the capital would cause some to be upset, but the Emperor was right; Coruscant was meant to be a capital and a capital she would be.

Above Yaga Minor, the Regulator, along with an escorting Carrack-Class Light Cruiser and two Raider-Class Corvettes, emerged from hyperspace above Yaga Minor. The world itself was covered in various small glittering lights - many would consider it an extremely beautiful world. However, this was not why Garrick was here; indeed, far from it, he was here for perhaps the one aspect of Yaga Minor that made it known the galaxy over - its massive shipbuilding and industrial complex. He had chosen to place this world under the Moffship of Shel Hu, an up-and-coming Imperial. Truth be told, due to her relationship with the Ren, he had been initially hesitant about her assignment here. However, she had consistently defied his expectation, proving herself to be a disciplined, competent, and loyal administrator, something that he could respect. As such, he had elected that she was a valuable addition to the Bastion Oversector, and one individual person who, while close with the Ren, was in his mind a good Imperial.
So, here he sat, aboard the bridge of the Regulator, looking over the utilitarian, yet beautiful style of the shipyards. He wasn't here on any sort of social visit, nor to reprimand its moff; rather, he was here to confer his congratulations to her, and to see what sort of production the shipyards had been undertaking. He had previously ordered the transfer of his various schematics and their production to this shipyard, and now he wished to see what sort of work had been undertaken on these crafts.
This is Star Destroyer Regulator, carrying Grand Moff Garrick Needa, who wishes to have a meeting with Shel Hu.

The Pathbreaker sat in orbit above Yaga Minor. It had been several days since the defeat at Dressal, but the crew was bouncing back. Indeed even Shel was back in action. Though things had escaped her control during the battle, she doubled her resolve to ensure such a thing never happened again. She had commissioned a new fleet be built for her at the shipyards and was reading over one report when the vessels dropped out of hyperspace. The Regulator and it's escort. Shel made ready a small party to greet the Grand Moff before sending the reply personally.=Shel=Regulator, this is Moff Shel Hu. I would be happy to meet with the Grand Moff aboard my ship. I will meet him personally.Shel had been conducting governing the planet from her ship, since it was more familiar than any ground based building could ever be. After all she had been raised in this very ship. It always felt odd for her, feeling real gravity and missing the hum of a ship in space. She did hope that, even as unorthodox as it was, didn't send any kind of wrong message to her superior. But she would keep her word and greet Grand Moff Needa before moving to her office.

+Months later+
Shel stood as always on the bridge of her flagship, Pathbreaker, overseeing both her fleet and the planet she governed bellow. Having been voidborn, she always found being on a starship was more comfortable for her. In addition her power through battle meditation made her connect with minds more easily with the Force and found it 'quieter' in space. But today's quiet was going to be interrupted as a message come through that the Emperor himself was going to be coming to meet with her. Hastily an affirmative reply was sent and the crew began to make preparations for the arrival.

Just beyond the floating vessels that made up Malleus Squadron, one of the Empire's finest formations, a single Victory III-class Star Destroyer exited hyperspace. Its IFF code displayed the name, Suzerain, in the neon colors of the display. Registered to be a part of the Ars Moriendi Squadron, which was stationed in the Core worlds of the Empire. The Emperor, upon the bridge of the ship, gazes at Yaga Minor shipyards. For a moment, a couple bits of nostalgia returned to him.
The first of which was when he arrived to the Outer Rim after Operation Exodus. Yaga Minor had served as the springboard that brought them to Muunilinst, Bastion, and the rest of the Imperial Sector, forming what would become the homeland of the future First Order. The second memory was of seeing the first Resurgent-class Battlecruiser being built over the planet. The Knights of Ren, namely Soku, Harnan, Illaria, and Sohei were present. Of those, now only Harnan remained. A gift to the Knights of Ren, the first ever Resurgent built. These were all in the early days of this nation.
An Upsilon-class Command Shuttle zoomed out of the hangar bay, escorted by a flight of TIE/sfs towards the flagship, Pathbreaker. His shuttle zoomed into the hangar bay and made its landing. Nicademus disembarked seconds later, with a handful of Imperial Knights following him in their crimson armor.

The Emperor was greeted in the hanger by Shel and a parade of the ships troopers, most of whom still sported their black shadow stormtrooper armor. The Moff herself was escorted by a pair of Shadowtroopers, though they showed deference and deferred to the Imperial Knights. Shel bowed to her emperor before walking with him and his escort to the ships executive conference room. Once their Shel allowed Nicademus to sit first, before taking a seat opposite him.
=Shel= Your Imperial Majesty, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?

=Shel=Your Imperial Majesty, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit? The Emperor greets those present and shakes hands with the commanding staff of Shel's ship. He was a personal individual who enjoyed meeting with those who commanded ships, led the group troops, and such. When pleasantries were exchanged, Nicademus follows Shel to a conference room where he takes a seat at the head of the table. Two of his Imperial Knights situated on his flanks. He turns to the Moff Hu when she inquires.I am doing a small tour of the Imperial Sector. Wanted to see the homeland again after so many years. The Imperial smiles, recalling those days with fond memory. It was the beginning of... everything.I have also begun a reorganization of the Oversectors. A long time coming really.A datapad is removed from his uniform and slid over to Shel Hu to view. The data revealed to her showed a rather... drastic change. Grand Admiral Garrick Needa was being recalled to a more active position within the Imperial Military with Jenia Kasalle being named his successor. Director Piett's oversector had been enlarged, double the size what it was before. However, the most notable of these was Shel Hu's mention as the Grand Moff of the newly formed Bilbringi Oversector.

Shel allows her wrist mounted braille translator to transcribe the datapads information. Many sweeping reforms were coming to the aforementioned Oversectors. But then her fingers paused. They went back and retraced a sequence of the braille. And once more. She quickly had the translator run a diagnostic but when she returned to the spot, it was the same. She was to be a Grand Moff? She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing made it's way out, so she closed it again. It had only been a relatively short time since she had returned to this strange new galaxy. While she had had ups and downs, she had felt like her service had been mostly noteworthy. She did her job well and quietly. Her ascetic upbringing under the training of her Master and his ideology about her role in the Old Empire, had made her no glory seeker, or even a seeker to climb the ranks. Once more the Miraluka attempted to speak.
=Shel= I- uh, Well, I am honored that you would select me. And if this is your decree, Emperor, then I will of course do this task to the best of my ability. But if I may ask, why was I selected? Surely you have others seeking advancement and who have achieved more note worthy accomplishments than me?

Nicademus remained silent as the soon-to-be Grand Moff found out her promotion and read the details of the report in full. When the question was presented, the Emperor would lean back in his chair. A gloved hand slightly touching his chin.Because I know that you are efficient and loyal. The Imperial replies.Because I know that I can trust you with the task at hand.He turns slightly, gesturing to the other staff present.I could name anyone, Grand Moff Hu, to be in your place, but I felt you were the best choice considering your record. You have a good career with the Old Empire. A notable one. I also know that your loyalty is to the Empire. And that loyalty, and your career, must be rewarded. The Emperor returns his gaze to Hu.Consider this a reward for your services to two Empires now. Loyalty and merit are rewarded well after all.
