The Imperious-Class Star Destroyer, Paarchero, exited hyperspace above the planet of Ziost. Even from here, the Sith'ari could feel the power of the dark side's pull. It was intoxicating. But right now, this wasn't about him. It was about Znalost. He had some desire to let loose his creations and test the. Ziost would provide the perfect environment for it. As the ship angled towards the planet, the tac officer spoke up.
"Sir! Four ships, bearing seven-three-two carom four-two-two. Signatures identify them as four Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruisers. No known affiliations.
At this, Savage smirked.
"So much for my trek to the surface. Jen'ari, take Znalost and his...associates to the surface with a platoon of soldiers. Secure it for the Blackguard. I will remain here and handle these fools, personally."
It was a good way to fully test out the Paarchero's capabilities, as well as putting her through her paces. And they were still out of range of the Vindicators, which gave them time to launch shore parties and ensure they were well on their way to the surface before the Imperious engaged the hostile ships.

Malvus approaches the viewport of the bridge, looking at the vessels that hung in orbit. Those were not there the last time the Sith had ventured to this world. A few years ago, his cult, the One Sith, had descended on this world to destroy a remnant of the Dark Tide. It seemed these were either pirates or more Sith that clung to this world like a plague or a festering wound in the Force. The Sith Lord turns to the Sith'ari.
It seems new tenants exist on Ziost... certainly not the remnant of the Dark Tide that once lingered here.
The Sith turns away, moving away towards the turbolift. He doesn't motion to Lord Znalost, knowing the Sith would obey the orders of his superior. As the turbolift went downwards, Malvus began to reach out towards the planet, with the Force, amplifying his power with the Sith crystal that lurked within his chest cavity. As the lift came to a halt on the level of the hangar bay, his eyes open. Then the Jen'ari walks out of the lift, heading for the hangars.
A cult festers on this world, Lord Znalost. A cult that believes they are the swords of Exar Kun... their leader styles himself as a descendant of that Sith Lord. He believes himself to be the reincarnation of such a legendary figure of our history. Rabble they are... a mob of disillusioned fools.
Malvus meets up with the soldiers assigned to their landing party, noticing that the transports were prepped for departure. He turns to Lord Znalost before heading into one of the transports. He points at the surface of the planet.
We will be landing at the prominent temple on this world. Our orders are simple, leave none alive.

Znalost listened to what the Sith'ari said and once Darth Malvus moved towards the turbolift so did he and his sentinels. The ride down was uneventful, once Malvus had departed the turbolift so did he accompanied by the two sentinels. Znalost listened the dark lord as he spoke of the rodents who now called Ziost their home. It seemed to Znalost that an extreme show of force was required to show these mongrels who is really in charge. As Malvus finished speaking, Znalost's mask hide yet another grin, leave none alive was something that in the past would not have brought him so much joy that was not the case since the Dxun incident. Znalost know that only one other member of the Blackguard would have enjoyed these mission parameters as much as he did. Znalost motined for the Cerberus Battalion to fall in line.
"Good, that means that the number of perfect soldiers that I'll be able to create has just increased."
That said Znalost entered another transport with his Cerberus Battalion and the Imperial sentinels. Soon the fun would begin.

As Znalost and Malvus vacated the bridge, the Sith'ari began formulating his battle plans.
"Engines. All ahead full. Weapons, ready all forward weapon batteries. Raise forward deflectors and ready our fighters."
As his orders were carried out, the Paarchero accelerated towards the approaching Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruisers. Approaching in an inverted "V" formation, flashes in the distance could be seen. Incoming fire and fighters launching. With a grin, the Sith'ari spoke.
"Safeties off. Fire all forward batteries, salvo fire! Clear all fighters to launch and spin us to port once in suitable range to broadside their line!"
Again, as his orders were followed, the Paarchero fired several salvos at the enemy line as shots impacted against the shields. As the fighters launched, the Paarchero began to angle itself to port, allowing it's starboard side to line up with the approaching line of Vindicators. The Battle for Ziost had begun...

Ziost - High Orbit. Paarchero Bridge.
As the ship continued to turn to port, exposing the starboard side for a broadside assault, the Sith'ari stood in the bridge of the ship. Lances of energy darted back and forth between the Imperious and the approaching Vindicators. Standing, hands clasped behind his back, he continued to observe. The First Order variant TIE Fighters that had been launched from the Paarchero were the last batch procured from the First Order. Not wanting to exceed his grasp, the Sith'ari's next ships for the Blackguard fleet would have their fighter complements outsourced to a different shipyard. Regardless of that, these fighters, along with the supporting fire from the Paarchero's starboard side guns, were shredding the incoming Vindicators. Two had slowed their pace, engaging the fighters that now swarmed them and the other two had spun out, exposing their broadsides to the Imperious. With a grin, the Sith'ari issued orders.
"Increase power to all starboard batteries and change from salvo fire to staggered bursts. Prep all starboard launchers and prepare to fire on my mark!"
As the salvo fire was changed to staggered burst, exposing the enemy ships to an unwavering wall of laser fire, the starboard proton launchers were armed and ready to launch. As soon as the order came in, the Sith'ari gave a target.
"Target the nearest Vindicator."
As soon as the firing solution was confirmed, the Zabrak gave the order.
"Fire!"
The starboard launchers fired their torpedoes at the nearest Vindicator. Due to the staggered barrage of incoming fire, the Vindicator was unable to target incoming projectiles. The torpedoes impacted with the unshielded target and ripped gaping holes in the hull, decompressing several compartments and causing them to vent atmosphere into space. As formidable as a Vindicator could be, in the hands of a skilled tactician, the Imperious of the Blackguard was pressing it's advantage against them. These cultists would learn that he, the Sith'ari, was not one to oppose. His will was scripture. He would get what he wanted, even if he had to raze the surface of the planet to get it...

Ziost - High Orbit. Paarchero Bridge.
The scene unfolding before him was most pleasing. One Vindicator was left drifting, gaping holes blown into his hull at numerous sites. Boarding parties had been sent to recover whatever information they could. A second Vindicator had attempted to take them head on, which had resulted in the ship's utter destruction. It was nothing more than a floating debris could now. The third and fourth Vindicators were still engaged with the fighters the Imperious had launched, giving the Paarchero ample opportunity to adjust its heading and lay down heavy fire upon them. As the shields of both vessels flared brilliantly, then sputtered out, the following barrage of turbolaser fire began tearing up the hulls of both vessels. As the Paarchero continued, a report came in.
"Sir. We are receiving surrender pleas from the two remaining Vindicators. Orders?"
Surrender? he thought. Surely they didn't expect that ruse to work. And then it washed over him. Nauseating pain coming from what felt like inside his head. It was the Elders. They were getting restless again. Each time they pressed him, it was getting harder and harder to push them down. Clenching his jaw muscles, he rubbed his temples and looked to the officer.
"N-no surrender. Recall all fighters. Focus all batteries on them and plot a course right up the middle. I want those ships reduced to floating debris!"
As he finished speaking, he slammed his left prosthetic hand down on the console before him. The screen erupted in a shower of glass and sparks. The bridge when oddly silent for a few moments. Looking around and realizing that every member of the bridge crew was staring at him, he bellowed at them.
"Destroy those ship! NOW!" he roared at them, angrily.
Most, if not all of the crew jumped with a start and averted their eyes. As the ship altered its course and focused on the remaining two Vindicators, the Zabrak Sith was left standing over a broken monitor, trying to regain his composure. Anger was a part of him, there was no denying that. But uncontrolled outbursts like that? While he was prone to angry outbursts, he was certainly more controlled then that. Once Znalost returned, he would need to speak with him privately. Otherwise his situation could end up rapidly deteriorating. And any number of his underling would be vying at his throat, clambering to claim his position as the Sith'ari. And he was not about to let that happen. He would destroy everything he had accomplished thus far before allowing one of his minions to claim his throne...

Ziost - High Orbit.* *Imperious-Class Star Destroyer: Paarchero
The fight against the heretical Sith had been quick but intense. However, the newly christened Imperious had performed admirably. And so had her crew. The new CO of this ship would be fortunate to have a crew that has served directly under the Sith'ari. For now, the Paarchero had moved closer to the planet after it has completed mop up operations. Holding position over the planet, now it was merely a matter of time before Ziost was entirely under their control. Viox had every faith in both Malvus and Znalost. They would not fail him.

The Shuttle that Lord Znalost was on exited the planet's atmosphere and began it's landing sequence. Once the shuttle had landed in the hargar of the Paarchero, Lord Znalost exited the shuttle and walked through the hangar towards the turbolift that would take him to the bridge. As he rode the turbolift up, thoughts of what he would do next raced throughout his mind. He wanted to see the progress that Doctor Giles and Ashaa had made with Project Legacy, as the door for the turbolift opened these thoughts disappeared from his mind for a time being. Lord Znalost walked out of the turbolift and headed towards the captain of the Paarchero.
"Captain, please inform the Sith'ari that I have arrived."

Paarchero - Ziost's Orbit
Turning to face the Sith as he exited the turbolift, the slender framed, blonde haired Captain of the ship saluted and replied with a proficiency born from military discipline.
"My lord. The Sith'ari has retired to his quarters. He asked that I send you there upon your return."

Bridge of the Paarchero, Orbit of Ziost.
Lord Znalost listened as the Captain told him that the Sith'ari had retired to his personal quarters and that he was to meet him there. Before turning and leaving the bridge, he pause and spoke to Captain Fontaine.
"Very well, Captain. I'll head there immediately."
Not waiting for a response from the Captain, Znalost exited the bridge and headed toward the quarters of the Sith'ari. While making his way there, the same thoughts as before came back until he reached the Sith'ari's door. Znalost knocked on the door with his cybernetic hand, the sound of metal hitting metal echoed through out the empty corridor.

Paarchero - Chambers of the Sith'ari. Ziost's Orbit.
As the knock was acknowledged, the door slid open with a hushed woosh. Viox's chambers aboard this vessel were fairly plain, bearing no personal effects and aside from a few datapads on the shelves, nothing to indicate these were even his quarters.
"Enter..." echoed somewhere from within the living quarters.
Upon entering the chambers, the young man would notice that the Sith'ari was seated upon the floor, cross-legged and shirtless. A sort of forced calm expression was on his face and he was sweating profusely, as if he had just ran a marathon, or was struggling with carrying a heavy object. But aside from the perspiration dripping down his face, chest and back, there were no other indications that the Sith was under any sort of physical distress. His chest was barely moving, as his breathing was at its resting rate...but something was clearly amiss with the Zabrak.

Chambers of the Sith'ari, aboard the Paarchero, Orbit of Ziost.
Znalost entered the chambers and noticed Viox sitting cross-legged and shirtless and the floor, he also noticed that the Sith'ari looked as if he had just experienced a tiring battle, but Znalost knew that the perspiration was from the force ghosts of the Elders. Their presence must have been taxing on the Sith'ari's mind during the engagement in orbit. Once fully inside the chambers and the door closed, Znalost knelt before his dark master and spoke.
"My Lord, Ziost is now in the fold. The 'heretics' have been dealt with as well."
Lord Znalost continued to kneel before the Sith'ari waiting to be told to stand as he was a faithful servant of the Sith'ari.

Without moving, or even acknowledging Znalost's presence, the Sith'ari continued to breath calmly. Knowing full well that Znalost was kneeling before him. Out of all those who worked beneath him, Znalost's loyalty was unquestionable. Ever since killing his former master and handing the young man a serious beating during the invasion of Iridonia, Witwer's loyalty had increased and became unwavering. He made no apologies for what he did. Jun-Dar Kaz and the young Alex Witwer had chosen their sides. And they had chosen wrong. They had paid the price for their choices. Jun-Dar Kaz more so than Witwer. Giving the young human an opportunity had proven quite advantageous for both of them.
"Another victory. Another world pacified and pledging allegiance to our cause. You have done well..."
Unmoving, eyes still closed, the Sith thought for a few moments, then finally opened his eyes and spoke to the kneeling figure of Witwer.
"They are getting more restless...harder to control, difficult to contain..."

Kneeling and listening to Viox as he spoke, he knew that now was the time to inform him of some of his current projects. Two projects to be specific, one was Project Legacy, another one was Project Legion. Project Legacy was a process of uploading a copy of someone's mind or transfering the person's mind into a computer, while Project Legion involves using an All-species Replica Droid in unison with Project Legacy, However Znalost had began to wonder about using force-sensitive clones to help, he had read about them in a holocron but there was nothing in the holocron about how to clone a force-sensitive. He would need data that would most likely only be held at Kamino. "I may have a few temporary solutions that may work. One is called Project Legacy, which would allow us to copy your mind and upload it into a computer or we could transfer your mind into a computer. The other one is called Project Legion which involves using an All-species Replica droid. I believe that using these two projects would allow you a chance to recover without others discovering the situation. I also have been thinking about uploading a person's mind into a clone body, in your case the clone would have to be force-sensitive and unfortunately we find ourselves lacking the information required for such a feat." Lord Znalost took a breath and waited for the Sith'ari' to reveal his opinion on his projects.

Projects. Scheming science perverted by the darkside. In some aspects, Witwer reminded the Zabrak of his previous apprentice, Cain Dracus. Both had keen minds for science and both were willing to push the boundaries of said science. Unfortunately for Cain, he was too consumed by his work. So far, Witwer had managed to keep a level head and avoid succumbing to the same fate. Provided he didn't become a thrall to his work, he would continue to serve the Blackguard, and the Sith'ari, faithfully with minimal supervision. Thinking for a few moments on what had been said, he replied to the young man."So far, you have not failed me. Your counsel has proven useful for my...affliction. Currently, I have too much in the works to deviate from the course I am setting, however, anything you need I will provide. Perhaps, once my main goals have been achieved, we can set our sights on a world such as Kamino? Certainly their cloning expertise would be invaluable to you?"It was true, the plans that were already in motion could not be delayed, but the Sith'ari had been eyeing up Kamino for some time now. Droids were cheaper and easier to mass produce, but clone soldiers and even potentially cloned force sensitives were much more useful to him than mere droids. Claiming Kamino would prove to be beneficial to the Blackguard, eventually.

Znalost listened to the Sith'ari as he spoke and if one could see behind his cybernetic mask they would see a small devilish grin appear when Kamino was mentioned. It was true that they would need the expertise of the Kaminoans for cloning a force-sensitive, he was positive that he and the others could do it, but the amount of time it would take in order to achieve such a feat was undesirable at best. He thought for a brief moment before answering the Sith'ari.
"Kamino would be a great addition for the Blackguard, I will look into what we may need from Kamino for cloning of any kind. Is there anything that you require of me, your grace?"
Once Znalost had finished speaking he waited for the Sith'ari to reply and as he waited his mind began to wonder about how Doctor Giles and Ashaa were doing back at his laboratory on Iridonia. Hopefully they had a prototype device for project legacy already built.

"Kamino will happen in due time. For now, I need you to find some way to help keep them at bay. Can you do this?"
Asked the Sith'ari. He knew Znalost was interested in Kamino. And it would happen. But first, there were bigger fish to fry, so to speak. Primarily the attack against the Anzati, where he intended to test Luxeria's abilities. And there would be a few others, afterwards. But that was his main target. Provided Znalost could provide him with a better means of keeping his rapidly destabilizing powers in working order and allow him to maintain control over them, he would continue to push ahead. He had worked far too hard to let an inconvenient ailment slow him down now.

Znalost thought about what he could do to help keep the elders at bay. His thought went to the amulet that he received when he went to Dxun, with a bit of alchemy and adding a cybernetic component to it. It could work, but he wasn't sure for he has never done anything like it before. Raising his head a tad bit to look at the Sith'ari, Znalost spoke.
"I did acquire an amulet from my time on Dxun, it once held the essence of a powerful darksider for thousands of years. I could try to modify it to suit our purposes."

Eyeing up the young human for a few moments, the Zabrak inclines his head in acknowledgement.
"Proceed...update me the moment you have results. Should you require anything, my A.I will place a requisition for you. Now go...I must continue to center myself until we return to Iridonia. Ensure Captain Fontaine is aware of our eminent return to Iridonia..."
Closing his eyes once more and exhaling slowly, the Zabrak motioned for the young man to show himself out. He needed to center himself for the time being. Calm the spirits within his head and regain control over every aspect of his body, mind and abilities.

Having been given his leave of the Sith'ari, Znalost stood up and exited the chambers. He walked down the same corridor that he came from back to the bridge where he was to inform the Captain about their departure plans. The Amulet of Abraxas, it was his power combined with it that allowed an evil force to be awakened and his time on Dxun had changed him for the better. He laughed as he walked onto the bridge.
"Captain, we are to depart immediately and return to Iridonia."
Lord Znalost continued to walk in further as he spoke to the Captain.
