Still meditating and attempting to center himself down in his quarters, Captain Fontaine had the bridge for the time being. Nodding as soon as Znalost strode onto the bridge, she spoke up.
"Engines, break orbit. Nav, set course for Iridonia. Secure all stations for transit."
As several "aye-ma'am's" rang out, the ship rose up and out of Ziost's gravity well and jumped to hyperspace.

Months had passed since Lord Znalost was made the Overseer of Ziost, and in that time his personal fleet had been constructed and was now stationed above the planet. Lord Znalost was still away on his mission to Kamino so that he could get the information needed to start cloning and a Kaminoan scientist to assist with the cloning process.

OOC: Read this post for further details. An old and modified HWK-290 light freighter enters the outermost limit of communications range around Ziost and opens a channel. The voice sounds dull and weedy, as if it came from someone with a limited imagination and just enough intelligence to pilot transport vessels for a living.Uh.. hello? Ziost traffic control? This is the Halberd.. uh.. requesting permission to enter Ziost airspace and.. uh.. land planet-side. I.. uh.. I'm transmitting recognition codes now...True to the pilot's word, IFF codes were transmitted. They are listed as belonging to the Grendal Pirate Consortium and match the registration of the ship.

Aboard The Invictus. As the Construction on the Bavo-II Heavy Duty Military Space Platform finished a old HWK-290 light freighter appeared on The Invictus' scanners. Captain Price looked at the scans then and listened to the transmission that came from the ship, she then checked and doubled check the IFF codes in the Blackguard database and found no record of the IFF tag. Captain Price opened a comms channel to the incoming ship. This is the Captain of The Invictus, you are now entering Blackguard Territory and your IFF tag doesn't match any known tag within our database. I strongly suggest that you leave Blackguard space before defensive actions are taken. While Captain Price await a response from the incoming ship, she had the bridge crew send an alert to the Commanding Officers aboard The Anarchy, The Dark Herald, The Dark Prophet, The Romulus, and The Deimos. If the ship continued on its course she would signal the other ships within the fleet to open fire and to launch their fighters, she would be damned if the security of Ziost was compromised while Lord Znalost was away. She knew his reputation for being a crazed Sith Lord who was above using his own men as subjects in his unnatural experiments.

Well, shit... That was unexpected. The Sith Lord had not anticipated that the old Consortium's codes were no longer recognised. He hadn't been absent from the universe for that long, surely? The ship stopped its progress toward Ziost and the comms channel opened again.
Uh.. Ziost traffic control, this is the Halberd again. I.. uh.. I don't know what you mean, those codes should be there. I don't mean to sound.. uh.. rude, but maybe you missed them? They are.. uh.. old codes. The Consortium is.. uh.. very small these days. Maybe you could.. uh.. check again?

Aboard The Invictus.
Captain Price watched on the scanners as the ship stopped in its tracks and sent another transmission, not wanting to be wrong she checked the IFF tag that was transmitted earlier. Once the results came back she confirmed the initial checks were correct and no record of the IFF tag was in their system. Price sent a high alert to the fleet and everyone within the fleet began to get to their battle stations. Price opened up a comms channel once again.
I repeat this is the Captain of The Invictus, you are now entering Blackguard Territory and your IFF tag doesn't match any known tag within our database. I strongly suggest that you leave Blackguard space before defensive actions are taken.
She hoped that this ship followed her suggestion, if not the bulk of the Undead Fleet would engage and ensure the safety of Ziost no matter the cost. The Dark Overseer would not be disappointed.

It seemed that all the effort spent on the ruse was for nought, the captain speaking to him was not going to budge from her position. He would have to reverse the alterations and try a different approach. As the ship swung around to leave Ziost and head back into deeper regions of the Outer Rim, one last message was sent.
Right.. well.. uh.. you can be the one to tell Lord Villa's mother that.. uh.. her shipment of quoo-cum-bars couldn't be.. uh.. delivered.
Before a retort could be sent, the fake HWK-290 left communications range of Ziost and the amassed ships around it, heading back into open space.

Aboard The Invictus.Captain Freya Price watched as the HWk-290 left Blackguard space and she issued a an order to go from high alert to alert status as was the protocol within the Undead fleet. Price had the Bavo-II Heavy Duty Military Space Platform Bridge officer commence with the deployment of the seventy-two Imperial Defense Satellites around the planet's orbit. Captain Price continued to stare at the monitors for hours after the HWK-290 had left Blackguard space, she knew that Lord Znalost would want a full report on this incident once he returned from his mission on Kamino. For now she would await and continue with her orders to ensure the security and safety of the planet. Hours had passed and the defense satellites were all in place.

Hidden by a stygium cloaking device, Sith'ari Grizz's Star Courier crept back into the area around Ziost, coming to a halt just outside of the firing ranges of the assorted vessels surrounding the planet. The Sith Lord closed his eyes and let himself sink into the Force. He begun drifting across the minds of those in the Undead Fleet, it did not take long for him to find the officer that turned him away earlier. Gently brushing against her mind, he noted that she was strong of will, disciplined and very highly ranked within the faction controlling Ziost - she would not do, so he moved on.
He glided through the Force, flitting from mind to mind, gleaning just enough from them to determine if they were what he sought. There was a set of twins, their innate connection would be a detriment to what he had in store. There were countless insignificant minds on the fleet, each not worth the time it would take to even uncover their names.
And then he found her...
A Pureblood Sith! The Sith Lord probed the edges of her subconscious; she was a commander of one of the vessels... a Colonel... her name was Cora Hareth...
...and she was not attuned to the Force.
Pathetic. He muttered under his breath. There was a time when even the weakest of Pureblood's could commune with the Force - even on the smallest of scales - but times had changed greatly since then.
Nevertheless, she would be perfect.
The Star Courier's cockpit fills with low murmuring, both haunting and melodious at the same time. Giant clawed hands intricately weave through the air, somehow managing to keep tempo with the odd chanting. The Sith Lord's eyes snap open...
...and he is suddenly on the bridge of Cora's Delta-class carrier, a passenger in her mind.
It was the end of her watch and she was quite eager to put the day behind her. As she oversaw the shift change she thought back to the earlier incursion by the unidentified light freighter. Her crew were not as prepared as they should have been when Captain Price sent out the alert; a full third of the cannon crew had failed to report readiness within the expected time. They were growing complacent, she would have to deal with that. But that could wait until tomorrow - she was tired and wanted nothing more than to relax. Shift change was over, she left the bridge and headed to her quarters. As she walked through the halls she felt a headache coming on, her forehead throbbing slightly with every footstep. By the time she reached her private rooms she was in agony, her entire head felt like it was going to split open. She stumbled toward the medicine cabinet in her en suite, her vision blurring and clouding over. She doesn't make it, her legs give way and she unceremoniously sprawls across the floor as she loses consciousness.
Cora finally awakens, but she is no longer on her ship; instead, she finds herself in the middle of a village of red-skinned humanoids that look similar to herself, but different as well. A child runs at her, but instead of smashing into her, it passes right through her. It was then that she heard a voice coming from everywhere and nowhere all at the same time.
They have no respect for you; not your subordinates, nor your superiors. You can deny it all you want, but deep down you know it to be true. Let me remind you why...
The scene before her shifts, segments of her genetic history flash by in quick succession. Her race, that of the Pureblood Sith, rise to power and crush all those that oppose them, a Golden Age spreads across their lands - all is well. Her people were happy.. and then they were enslaved by the Dark Jedi. The Pureblood's monuments, tombs, cities and way of life are defiled by outsiders, every torturous moment playing out right before Cora's very eyes. She is forced to watch her bloodline become thinner and thinner with every generation and interbreeding; her people losing their former power and majesty at the hands of so many others, leaving them a pale shadow of what they once were.
Do you see now? Do you see that you will always be considered inferior... that is, unless you show them the fire that burns within.
Those last few words are accompanied by flames that lick at Cora's feet, quickly growing in size and intensity until they engulf her entirely. She opens her mouth to scream, but the flames are drawn into her lungs. She burns inside and out, her skin becomes crisp and flaky, her insides melt with the heat. The flesh begins begins to slide from her bones, her eyeballs start to boil in their sockets; and just as the pain becomes unbearable and she thinks she is going to die...
...she wakes up on the floor of her private quarters, her body whole and untouched. Her breath is ragged, she head throbs in agony, but she is alive; the only real lasting effect being the flashes of what she witnessed - and even those were starting to fade like a dream.
Back on the Star Courier it was silent aside from the faint sounds of the ship's life support and the heavy breathing of the Sith Lord. The ritual was complete, the seeds had been sown - and for the time being, his energy was spent. He sat in the cockpit and waited to see if those seeds would bear fruit - and if they did, in what form they would take.

Aboard The Invictus.Captain Price left the bridge to do a surprise inspection of the crew quarters, armory, hangar bay and the mess hall. She wanted to be certain that The Invictus was always ready for a surprise attack and ready to launch a surprise attack. She had received reports from the other five ships within the fleet that their reaction time was not up to the standard left for them by the Overseer of Ziost, Lord Znalost. Price moved from room to room inspecting everything and making note of what she saw, she would have to let her subordinates deal with any issues she found. Once she had finished her inspection of the ship, Price entered her quarters and started to make a report of what had happened with the light freighter and her findings from the inspection.Aboard The Anarchy.Commonador Dale Hart, the commanding officer of The Anarchy, stood on the Delta-Class Carrier bridge and stared out at Ziost and the Orbital platform, and the satellites that were deployed. He couldn't help but smile as he was a CO within the Undead Fleet, he had fought hard to earn the right to command a ship for Lord Znalost. Hart had received word the Invictus that Price was doing a ship wide surprise inspection, he knew that only meant one of two things, that Lord Znalost was finished with his mission and coming to inspected his fleet himself or that Price was trying to increase her ship's efficiency so that should someone attack the fleet the Invictus would not be caught off guard. Hart knew that The Anarchy's time to be battle ready was not as quick as The Invictus, but it was still better than others within the Fleet. Hart left the bridge to perform his own inspection of his ship and once he finishes it he would make a report for Lord Znalost. Aboard The Dark HeraldCaptain Abraham Crawford, stood on the Dark Herald's Bridge and stared off in space. While he was paying attention to what was happening with the light Freighter that appeared and left, he was also lost in thought. For Crawford was running through different tactics that he would have employed had the freighter engaged them, most of his subordinates were in awe of his tactical mind and the way he could multitask. He had a feeling that the commanding officers would be doing a surprise inspection to increase the efficiency of their ships, he on the other hand would delegate the task of an inspection to the executive officer, one lieutenant Darger Beckman as that would be the most efficient use of his time. Aboard The Dark Prophet.Lieutenant Commander Cora Hareth had decided to have a rest before continuing on with the duties of being a commanding officer with the Undead fleet. As she slept, Cora began to have nightmares and the feeling that no one had any respect for her. She had awaken on the floor of quarters, she was drenched in sweat caused by her nightmare. She stood up and got dressed, then proceeded to walk back to the bridge of The Dark Prophet and as she walked she could help but feel the eyes of her crew on her judging her. Her only thought as she walked was that her crew didn't respect her at all. This self doubt that she had developed would consume her from the inside, she was sure of that. Cora would do her best to get past these feelings she had, but she wasn't sure if she ever would. Aboard The Romulus.Commander Adrian Gibson, the commanding officer aboard The Romulus was standing on the bridge reviewing the security holos of his ship during the recent incident. He was trying to find out where his crew could improve, that way he could instructed them on how to do better. He of course would also follow the lead of Captain Price and the other commanding officers with a surprise inspection, Adrian however did not want to be surprise by what he would find. He hoped that his brother wasn't going to the same thing as he was. After he was done reviewing the holotapes, Adrian exited the bridge and headed to the crew quarters to begin his inspection.Aboard The Deimos.Captain Douglas Gibson, the commanding officer aboard the The Deimos and the twin brother to the commanding officer of The Romulus, was seated in his quarters. Douglas was going over new procedure that he had just come up with following his inspection of The Deimos, if he was in luck Lord Znalost would implement the changes across the entire fleet. He smiled at the thought of his brother having to enforce a procedure that he came up with, Douglas knew that Adrian would dislike that greatly. As he was reviewing the procedure, he thought about why Lord Znalost wanted both him and his brother within his fleet. He was sure that there was a specific reason why, he however couldn't think of it. Douglas shook these thoughts away and continued on with reviewing the procedure and the results of the inspection. /span]

The cloaked Star Courier begins to head into the firing ranges of the vessels around Ziost. Its approach is slow and deliberate, its course constantly being adjusted to stay as far away from the ships, orbital platform and defence satellites as possible. The constant monitoring of flight systems and course corrections would tax most pilots, but the Sith Lord at the helm is a veteran and extremely capable at the manoeuvres, having spent years with Darth Acerbus' Flying Circus.
Having passed through the array of orbital defences with no apparent issues, the ship enters the upper atmosphere and alters course toward a barren section of the planet, far from any urbanised areas.

The modified Star Courier continued through the upper atmosphere and into orbit, the cloaking device keeping the vessel completely invisible to the eye and sensors alike. Inside the cockpit, the Massassi Sith Lord plotted a course that would avoid as many of the ships and orbital platforms between him and open space as possible. While he piloted the ship through the array of defences around the planet he activated his navicomputer and punched in the coordinates of the next planet he was going to. After a few moments the computer reported that the calculations were complete, but he would need to double back on his course after passing through the assorted planetary patrols to reach the correct trajectory.
The cloaked ship passed through the upper limit of the defence perimeter and continued to put the planet farther behind him until he was well outside of the assorted firing ranges of the assembled orbital forces of Ziost. The ship then changed course to double back to the location where the navicomputer would be able to perform the jump to hyperspace.
He could still hear them at the edge of his thoughts, the whispered voices coming from the mysterious rock in his cargo hold. There was so many voices all speaking over the top of each other that they drowned each other out, but one thing was clear: they were speaking in his native tongue, that of the Ancient Sith people.
The navicomputer beeped softly, accompanied by a corresponding light on the console. The ship was ready to perform the jump. The hyperspace engine spooled up as the ship automatically adjusted itself into the correct positioning and then jumped away...
...to Korriban.

A pair of Harrower-class Dreadnoughts, along with two Supremacy-class Attack Ships, and four Derriphan-class Battleships, exited hyperspace over the planet of Ziost. Its commander, a Sith in the employment of the Jen'ari, had been sent to garrison the world. Reports indicated a lack of a garrisoned presence. One that needed to be resolved in a timely order. Once they were in position, a swarm of transports headed to the ground to take up the garrison duty.

123rd Regiment - Kruhl Battalion. Eviscerator Station was defended by Kruhl Battalion, ensuring that the main arrival point for the Sith world of Ziost was secured. Major Carl Lasher led the battalion, running security and defense for the domain world of Lord Znalost. The Sith world was home to a massive citadel full of artifacts, experiments, arcane lore and whatever experiments Lord Znalost had on the go. Though this station served as the main entry point, access to the world was still heavily restricted.

The Immortal, the VT-49 Decimator that belonged to Darth Obitus, exited hyperspace over Ziost. The newly appointed Grand Inquisitor was observing his new home from the view screen on the bridge of the small vessel. Ziost was very much like Korriban, population, environment, Sith relics and most importantly, power and prestige. As the once adopted homeworld of the Sith species and religion, it would always hold importance to Obitus and the Sith Conclave. For this reason he had accepted this posting and chosen to base the Sith Inquisition on the world.
The Sith pressed a few button on the command console of his chair as he sat, relaxed and reclined. He was punching up information he had been given regarding the current military situation on Ziost. The first and most important piece of which was the fleet currently in orbit. Darth Malvus, now Hierarch of the Sith Conclave had left eight of his warships in orbit to support his ground forces. Obitus punched up the military frequency to address the flagship and began his transmission.
::This is the Immortal to the Leviathan, I am transmitting my command codes now. I am Darth Obitus and I have been appointed to the office of Grand Inquisitor by the Hierarch, Darth Malvus. I here to take direct command of the planet Ziost and the wider sector. I require a system-wide situation report but more urgently I need to know if our forces have secured the Sith Citadel?::
The pilot of the Immortal had set course for the Leviathan. His orders were to dock with the Harrower-class unless the Sith Citadel had been secured. Until he had confirmation about the situation, he was playing it safe.
::For the duration of your stay in the system you will report to me unless over-ruled by the Hierarch, is that clear Leviathan?::

We can report that the planet is secured, both New Adasta and the Sith Citadel. The Heirarch contacted us earlier about your impending arrival. As such, military operations will be handed over to you for command. This namely involved garrison duty and the ongoing search and arrest of individuals belonging to the former regime. That is where I will be setting up my command:: The pilot had already changed course and the Immortal was now heading towards the surface of the planet and the legendary Sith Citadel. The Grand Inquisitor was not terribly comfortable with losing all fleet coverage over Ziost before he had time to arrange his own. The Hierarch was obviously not worried about any fleet engagements above Ziost or maybe he was worried about an engagement elsewhere. Either way, Obitus needed to establish himself on the planet swiftly.
