So it seems. We should resettle the mess this creatures have made before we fortify our position and set up base. We are behind schedule.
High above the surface, the suppressive firepower died down correlative to the disappearance of portals. The troops shifted gears from vocational combat to cleanup groundworks.

Let's get out of here too. My robes are smelling all funky and stuff.
Romulus turned and began walking out of the cave. Before long, he was out in open air again, watching Angel's men clean up the rubble and blood and dirt from their battle not 5 minutes ago. He sighed as he thought about the effort all this was going to take. It would be a long day.
A few feet away were Rom's Droptroopers, sitting on a fallen Pillar with their helmets off, drinking from their water canisters. Behind them was a small detachment of his CLonetroopers, looking slightly out of place as they awaited orders. Romulus walked over to them.
Good job guys, our part in this is over for now. Take a short break before yall head back to Phoenix. And bring those guys with you.
He motioned to the white Clonetroopers. The Droptroopers nodded and acknowledged their orders before returning to their small talk and water. Romulus looked around, wondering if Angel had followed behind him from the cave.

Angel and Mentis had walked out as well with Romulus' exit. Requiem stayed in the cavern to study the corruption in the arcane glitch and install mystic countermeasures. The guardsmen behind him stayed as well, while the rest of the battalion had returned to the surface to join in the restoration effort as well as call in the construction specs to reinforce the structural composition of aforementioned cavern, which was wrecked significantly during the terentatek conflict, as it was a key installation to holding up the levels above.
Angel called for his ship via autopilot, and was awaiting its arrival as he turned to Romulus.
Mentis is staying behind to oversee surface repairs, while I replace the crystals you destroyed during our last friendly. You're free to join me if you need a resup on your crystal inventory.

Whoops. Hahaha well, if you don't mind having me, i'll come.
There was a buzzing sound. Surprised, Romulus took out his commlink.
Go for Rom. Huh. Okay, i'll be there soon.
He kept his commlink and addressed Angel.
Angel, i need to contact my forces on Arkania. There's been some development, it seems. Nothing serious, but i ought to check it out just in case. Comms me when you're leaving, yea.
Behind Romulus, Serina pused a few buttons on her wrist. Moments later, the Grey Unending came soaring overhead. Romulus, holding Serina by the waist, jumped up 10 stories (with the Force of course) and landed nicely in the cockpit, just as the Grey Shadow flew off towards the atmosphere.

Concurrently, Skydance rent the clouds and hovered opposite the Citadel's burnt spire from the earlier airstrike. He unfurled his wings and flew straight up at a more settled pace into his own cockpit. Moments later the ship retraced its flight path and returned to orbit from whence it came.
Meanwhile Commander Kaz and Mentis joint-oversaw the reconstruction efforts; the hovertanks were being used to drag heavier wreckage and rubble debris over the black forested edge. Manpower was also being allocated to resetting the prefab shelters, while the jet troopers were deployed to check up on the anti-avalanche breach gates and see how they were holding up.

The cold and barren world of Ziost, a planet steeped in the Sith history and the Dark Side. In the days of the Old Republic, the planet was once made of many ancient dark forests and barren tundra. Yet, for reasons unknown, perhaps maybe to the very nature of the Dark Side, the planet withered away as the trees died and the planet was turned in a second Korriban. Eons ago, this planet served as the capital for the First Sith Empire after the death of Sith'ari Adas, leaving Korriban as a graveyard world. It was only thanks to the Rakatan technology that was left behind after their attempt to subjugate the Sith species that the Sith Empire was able to not only take and colonize Ziost, but expand into what is now known as Sith Space.
Ziost would become a forgotten world, time and time again, after the fall of the First Sith Empire. Its focal point in the Dark Side drew a number of Sith to claim it; Darth Revan, Darth Vitiate, Darth Bane, and the Dark Lady Lumiya. It served as a major buffer world for the Third Sith Empire under the Immortal Emperor, Vitiate. Its treasures would be lost to the very fabric of time with very few brave enough to scour its surface for relics of the Sith that once ruled its barren and arctic wastelands. It was truly a forgotten world... that was until much recently.
After the disappearance of Lord Sinistra and the quiet dissolution of the Dark Tide, a number of remnant groups from its ranks began to fight among one another in the hopes of reviving such a prominent Sith faction. Yet without the efficient leadership of its past rulers, its ranks dwindled till only a small fleet of warships and several thousand members fled for Sith Space. Under the assumed leadership of an unnamed Overseer, the minor fleet would eventually come across the world of Ziost where the despot of the Dark Tide's remnants declared that this planet was where their empire would be renewed and that they would strengthen themselves in order to one way wage war upon the galaxy at large. Yet the Overseer's great ambitions came to naught as within a few generations, the Sith once more fought against one another just as before. Although the Overseer still claimed the Sith Citadel and a large force, various Sith Lords rose up across its terrain, staking claims upon its barren terrain and fighting over nonexistent resources and gains. The first Overseer would die attempting to reunite the feuding Sith groups and would be succeeded by his young and inexperienced heir.
Unknown to their eyes, an unseen force had long observed the activities of Ziost, noting the presence of these Sith pretenders who lingered upon this cold world. Some time after the creation of the One Sith, intelligence reports had given the Lord Regent enough reason to purge the planet and its system of this nest of apostates. Gaining new followers from Dromund Kaas and rallying more to his banner through subtle means, Darth Malvus managed to gather a sizable and elite company of Sith minions and fanatical soldiers. Among his company were a number of notable and rising Sith who pledged their allegiance to his plans and the cause of the One Sith. Using his unseen influence, the Sith managed to garner the services of three Action VI transports, a good means to transport such a force to Ziost without raising too many alarms; it was well-known that merchants sometimes ventured through Sith Space as detours or shortcuts, so the arrival of his three transports over Ziost would keep their foes unaware.
With an auspicious date chosen, the small fleet moved for Sith Space, taking known merchant routes to the far end of the galaxy. Forged merchant credentials, a disguised crew and some well-timed bribes kept many unaware of the true cargo that was within the hull of these transports. The elite unit of the One Sith's small, but growing military was earger to take down what the Lord Regent had called vermin, pretenders and nobodies. At one time, Malvus had respected the Dark Tide; its influence was mighty and feared, its military forces reckoned and her leaders unrivaled in strength. Yet, in the end, their unworthy successors and blinded followers had fallen from their greatest glories for the sake of leftover crumbs. Malvus hoped to test the military capabilities of the revived One Sith while also eliminating pretenders and defiant elements that remained among the Sith community at large.
A long journey would be rewarded with the sight of Ziost as the Action VI transports made their way for the planet. The crew broadcasted a signal, a communication that relayed an SOS signature. It was the bait that Malvus hoped the foe below would accept; how could these degenerates not resist the tempting offer of merchant cargo and possible slaves. His plan exceeded far beyond his expectations as, when the transports landed, his eyes gazed upon an assembled greeting party, led by one of the Overseer's commanders. Soldiers armed with rifles and Sith warriors awaited the landing transports as they touched down upon the barren world of Ziost. The inhabitants went to work without any suspicions as they approached the ships and attempted to gain access to the main cargo hold. Reluctantly, the crew lowered the ramp for them... but instead of crates and loot, the initial greeting party came face to face with black armored soldiers and cloaked figures. They barely had any time to react as the hostile forces under Malvus struck first.
Shouts were heard, followed by blasters and lightsabers, followed by an eerie silence. The initial action upon Ziost was performed as the first blood was drawn by the One Sith. The other two cargo holds opened as the Lord Regent's forces surged forth; blasters firing forward and lightsabers igniting. The Overseer's overconfident party was soon overwhelmed and dispatched with ease. From there, Malvus took personal command of the One Sith's forces as they began their advance upon the nearby Sith Citadel and to what the Sith Lord could sense was a nervous Overseer.

Lord Vallen stepped forth from one of the transports. He had hung back, allowing for Darth Malvus and the soldiers to make the initial beachhead. Front line combat was no longer the place for the Wolf of the Ronove. A different life, and a different body, maybe, but not this one. His footsteps clanked down the ramp of the ship, his power armor reflecting little of the light; its color was a matte grey. The photo-receptors on the helm gleamed brightly, however, as they processed the surrounding area.
Vallen checked his weapons: two Dissuader KD-30 Slugthrower pistols and a DC-15x Sniper Rifle. He preferred the extreme range of the sniper rifle, but when closer combat calls, he appreciated the corrosive acid that was housed in the rounds of the slugthrowers. He patted the the two holstered pistols at his hips and adjusted the strap that held the sniper rifle to his back. He turned his head about, looking for Darth Malvus. He spotted the Sith as he stomped his way towards the Sith Capital. No grace, no subtlety. That man wouldn't know how to stalk a target if his life depended on it. Vallen smiled behind his helm and shook his head.
He would follow the Sith, at a distance, towards their objective. He would take is slow though; providing long range support and backup. There was no telling when or where the opposition's forces would come from; he needed to be there to dispatch them without alerting the other Sith. He looked about one last time before initiating the dampening systems on his power armor. The clank of his footsteps and the clamor of the armored plates rubbing against each other disappeared. He could move silently now. He stepped off after Lord Malvus, sending him a quick comms message.
I'm at your six.

As they waited patiently upon the transports, ready for their trap to be sprung, Luxeria sat up against the wall of the transport that her master was in. She let the cloak that had be given to her hide her face. She was spending her time focusing, preparing herself. This was to be her second engagement since arriving on Eriadu, since learning she could wield the Force. She had progressed in her combat training, becoming fairly efficient at the basics of Makashi. This was to be another test for her, one that held all the risks of failure. Malvus couldn't hold back his plans for the sake of her training and she couldn't afford sitting around waiting for the campaigns to finish. This would enhance her skills far quicker if she survived.
With her eyes closed, she let thoughts and feels stir within her. She had yet to make the power of the Dark-side one that could come the moment it was called upon. And when she could, it was out of irritation or sudden anger and held much less control. It was why she was focusing now. Her mind fell upon the image of two women, women that she had met before. Lura, Andor's second apprentice, and Anya, the girl she met on Kuat. It was the idea of them mocking her, making her seem like she would never be worth anything, especially when compared to them that drove her anger. But it gave her focus as it only pushed the desire to show them just how strong she was.
Feeling the ship touch down, her eyes opened, her red eyes hidden still under the cloak. She stood to her feet as did the others and removed her lightsaber. She still carried the one Andor had given to her, her skill and understanding of the combat forms not yet far along enough to make one that was best suited to her. It would be enough as the ramp opened, letting the chill of the barren world flow into the transport. Without a word, the moment they were able to move from the ship, the forces inside began piling out, unleashing the barrage of blasters and lightsabers.
Luxeria moved with grace as her saber came to life, moving up to a couple of soldiers who were firing around them in panic. Her saber cut through them easily enough before a Sith warrior crossed her path. They hadn't expected the attack and were all in a panic, their actions rushed and without form. He slashed at her left arm, though Luxeria, now understanding the true essence of balance and grace of her form, brought the saber in her right hand over, blade tip down to block, though she edged it up underneath the opponent's lightsaber and forced it into the air, breaking her connection with it. It left him open as she slashed down, taking his saber arm. Reaching out with her left hand, she gripped his throat with the Force and tossed him into a small group of soldiers that the others cut through.
She moved with the soldiers that pressed forward, using them not as a shield, but a cloak, remaining unseen before suddenly appearing and slicing them apart. It wasn't long before the greeting party was eliminated and they progressed inside. Luxeria had caught up to Malvus and walked just off to his right and a little behind, ready to take on those that awaited them within.

The initial greeting party was immediately dispatched with ease, due to the precision of the One Sith's troopers and the ferocity of their warriors. The gaze of Malvus looked upward at the imposing and ancient fortress that was the Sith Citadel. It was the icon of many bygone empires and Sith who claimed it as their stronghold. Today was not one of those days, for what Malvus saw in the Citadel was a nest of heretics, pretenders and unworthy persons who dared to call themselves Sith. They followed principles that were not in line with the Rule of One, but rather doctrine of not only the Banite Sith but their predecessors. The Sith would end this decadence and cleanse Ziost of these impostors.
The One Sith's small force made its way down a causeway towards the very entrance of the Citadel where a group had been mustered to defend the entry way. Troopers and warriors were situated in a defensive perimeter as the One Sith made their approach. Among them was an imposing red-armored figure, who stood before the doorway into the Citadel. By the posture and appearance, this person seemed to be a champion or notable figure of the Overseer's personal guard. Malvus remained hooded as he moved forward and ahead of the stationary forces he had brought. That was enough of an action for the red-armored figure to begin moving forward too. Yet as the pair approached, the champion barely managed to reach for his own lightsaber before a blade was ignited. One of Malvus's lightsabers zoomed out and cut off the figure's sword arm, making the opponent roar in agony. Malvus moved quickly as one hand moved forth and made a gripping motion, causing the screams of agony to be replaced by chokes of suffocation. With his spare hand, Malvus used his telekinesis to his lightsaber come back to his hand. A sickening crack was heard as the opponent's spine was snapped with ease, making the suffocating figure go limp. The Sith Lord, unceremoniously, let go of his opponent, letting the male crumple to the ground.
Pathetic...
The defensive perimeter in front of Malvus began to shuffle away, clearly whoever was just killed was enough of a display to make the defending soldiers to think twice and even show great amounts of fear within them. A blaster bolt went off, only to be deflected, at the last minute, by the Sith Lord's lightsaber. Soldiers turned to see an officer with a blaster pistol raised. The gaze of the Sith only made the officer fire again, only to have the bolt be deflected once more. Malvus scoffs quietly; the sheer audacity, he thought. Some soldiers threw down their weapons immediately after this, showing signs of surrendering, but Malvus would have none of it. With the mere point of his finger, the One Sith unit charged. Soldiers blaster their rifles as warriors, lightsabers blazing, cut through soldier and Sith pretender alike.

Luxeria stood at the front of the group as the display unfold before them. With little effort, Malvus had already had second group quivering and ready to surrender. All it took was a quick death to what was supposed to be there greatest warrior. She had seen displays of telekinetic lighsaber combat and was something she had started looking into, seeking to utilize her skill in telekinesis in a multitude of ways, but it was moments like this when she saw the greater value of it, and how easily others seem to fall to it.
She continued to watch from under her hood as the troops began to back away before the blaster was fired. It was the one shot they had had trying to take down her master, but it failed. When the officer tried a couple times more, she couldn't help but give off a faint laugh. Attention had been drawn to him, yet he continued to fire single shot after single shot. He was clearly an idiot. Just before Malvus gave the order to charge, Luxeria threw her own saber, letting it spin like a disc at the faltering wall of people before her. In a mere instant, three went down before the entire group charged, Luxeria as well. She reached out her hand, beckoning the saber return to her. From there, she followed the same pattern she had prior, moving in and around her own group, launching sneak attacks from unexpected angles and bringing many to the knees, and ultimately, their ends.

Sight down optics. Release breath. Hold. Trigger squeeze. Target drop. Move. Sight down optics. Release breath. Hold. Trigger squeeze. Target drop. Move.
Over and over again, Vallen eliminated threats that encroached upon Malvus and his forces. He wasn't the only one either. His sensors picked up several other snipers hustling through the city, their drab cloaks partially concealing them against the buildings and walls. They provided some long range coverage and assurance for the soldiers that were directly engaging the opposing forces. Vallen did so too, though his image and presence were much larger. He pulled the cloak the covered his armored frame tight, its earthy brown-green color powdered with dust and ash. It did well to break up his silhouette. He smiled from within his helmet. The cloak was a new addition to his gear. Its design was partially responsible for his ability to hide and conceal; the cloak would blend its colors to match the predominate shades in the immediate surroundings.
Vallen's sensors chimed in his ear. Malvus slowed his advance. He may have met some heavy resistance. Vallen had to go and assist, just in case the situation was dire. He slung his rifle across his back and leaped down to the street below. Vallen trudged off through the city and neared in on Malvus' position. He passed by countless dead and wounded, and reveled in their pain and suffering. It fueled him, incited him, made him stronger. The anger, agony, the resentment. As he drew closer to Malvus, he pulled out his two pistols, the rounds filled with corrosive acid, and prepared to slaughter anyone in his way. He spotted Malvus and commed him shortly.
Where to? I'm assuming you are the boss man for this job.

During the initial departure of the transports, Darth Flvin could feel the immense presence of the force. Every single being glowed like a torch in the dark. There was a sense of excitement when the Sith impostures approached the descending ramps, that was until they discovered what was inside. An immediate burst of fear and horror cried out among the soldiers and warriors alike, they had made a grave mistake. The initial assault was swift, Darth Malvus and his forces cut a path straight through to the Citadel. Darth Flvin followed closely, slaughtering Dark Tide forces as he passed by. One trooper attempted to fire at Flvin, but his control over his weapon became impossible. Flvin raised his hand slightly, the troopers grip around his blaster turned towards himself, aiming towards his own skull. The Dark Lord then swiftly clenched his hand, pulling the trigger of the blaster with the force. A single sound among the masses went off, the trooper dropped still with an instant.
Darth Flvin's attention was quickly grabbed with the presence of more troops. He used the force to travel quickly towards his fellow Sith, only to see Darth Malvus wipe the street with their blood. He smiled under his mask as he began walking beside Darth Malvus and his loyal apprentice.
"The Citadel will soon be ours Lord Malvus, and we shall see our people thrive once more."

Where to? I'm assuming you are the boss man for this job. Malvus heard the comm from Vallen and keyed his comlink to reply back to his stepson.I would our enemy has a landing pad nearby where they can attempt to escape and make a stand elsewhere. Take a few squads of soldiers, warriors and commandos with you and cut off their means of escape. Plant explosives on any transport you find and rig them. I don't want any of these impostors to escape, Vallen."The Citadel will soon be ours Lord Malvus, and we shall see our people thrive once more." Malvus turned his attention to Flvin after speaking with Vallen and giving his orders. The Sith turns his gaze back to the Sith Citadel and examines it quietly. There were some key places that needed to be secure and acquired. Flvin was the juggernaut of the group with Luxeria learning to be an assassin. Malvus thought up some quick orders for the pair. The first he looks at is Flvin.Flvin, take a portion of our forces and advance upon the library and communications room. I want the library secure and all means of communication cut off. Eliminate anyone who attempts to stop you. There is plenty we can acquire from the library that I want preserved and not within the hands of these... incompetent fools. After they are secured, cut a wedge in their defensive line. Push them to retreat for my position and Vallens. His eyes then turn to Luxeria.Luxeria, your orders are simple... find where the initiates are lodged and eliminate them. The seeds of their heretical teachings must be exterminated and purged before they can dig their roots and sprout their wings. You will take a sizable portion of warriors and soldiers with you. Once you are finished, find me.His eyes then returned to the Great Citadel of many old Sith Empires. There was much to be done here and Malvus already contemplated his next step as the Sith drew his lightsabers and ignited them at once. They flared to life with their red bars humming over the dead.As for me... I have my own work to do.

Luxeria looked to Malvus and nodded. "Understood." She turned back towards the troops that followed in behind them. She still wasn't fond of leading others, but such a situation was different. As was the case with Alzoc III, she merely led them in the direction they needed to go and passed along any orders that adapted to a certain situation. But the orders they had were clear and knew who to follow and they were to split. She held out a hand to them then held it out to the side. "Let us eliminate the pretenders. Follow me."
She made her way from Malvus and the others, a fair amount of the warriors closest to her breaking off from the main group. They carried on in a casual walk. This assault was different from her previous one. They came in with the element of surprise and had been dominating all those they had come up against. But now she was being sent off to find the initiates, the recruits, and the apprentices. Many would be around her level of skill. It made sense to send her off with a group to take them out while the others faced the bigger threats. Her time would come as her skills increased. Just because she was progressing didn't mean she had to run out and challenge the strongest to prove herself. Her time would come.
She focused and located a couple weaker signatures near by and directed the soldiers with her. It was long before they entered a room and faced a man and woman, red sabers ignited, ready to fight. But it was clear, the look of uncertainty on their faces. Even with their powers, they weren't facing typical troops. Luxeria stepped forward as she ignited her saber. The other woman stepped forward as well as to accept the challenge. The moment she was clear of the other initiate, Luxeria's left hand rose and dropped and a barrage of blasters held upon him.
The woman made her move, quickly slashing downwards on Luxeria. Bringing her saber up, she let them impact, before stepping to the side and letting them fall to the ground, navigating her saber away, she spun it around for the woman's neck, though it was blocked. Keeping to the offense, she then shifted her blade and attacked to slash at the woman's chest. Though the woman kept up the blocks, Luxeria worked to keep the offense up, keeping her strikes and lunges close to her opponent. If her movements were quick and always close, it wouldn't allow the enemy time to build up a stronger attack without risking taking damage. A fine strategy, but she had learned during her training there was a form that could easily counter the logic she had gathered. But it wasn't an issue.
Luxeria let herself make a wider attack, coming straight down on the woman. She could already see the smirk forming as the blades met, the pretender thinking she had found the opening to at least switch their roles. But she wasn't expecting the secondary attack that happened at the same time. As the blades met, her left hand moved up just a few inches from the woman's stomach and released a barrage of purple lightning. The electricity immediately consumed her and rendered her unable to move. With a quick swipe of her saber, she took the woman's head. Letting the lightning fade, she gripped the headless body and turned, throwing it at the man. It hit and threw off his balance, opening him up to the fullness of the blaster bolts. He fell in a matter of moments. Wanting to make sure he was finished, she took his head as well. Looking at the two bodies for a moment, she motioned for the troops to follow as they progressed onward, ready to meet up with the next group of initiates.

Luxeria led the soldiers that had come with casually through the dark halls of the citadel. She could feel the presence of the weaker initiates moving. Bit by bit, they were gathering together. Guessed the were either ordered to find a place to retreat in case of an invasion, which she doubted, or they decided to gather together to combine their strength. If that was the case, she figured them fools. While is was better to fight, they could have done better by hiding themselves and attacking from the shadows. But she could feel them clear as day. Panic and uncertainty filed their auras as they sought to figure out what was happening.
As they moved along, she saw they were coming to a point where the hall went left or right. Before they got there, she noticed a woman running passed it, coming from the right side and heading to the left. Before she got out of sight, Luxeria lifted her hand, using the Force to wrap around her and hold her in place. She pulled her hand back and thrust it out, causing the girl to be tossed back to the center of the opening then hard into the wall. Luxeria held her there as she walked to her. The girl tried fighting, but Luxeria's focus was strong enough to hold her in place.
Standing right in front of her, she tilted her head under her hood as she gazed upon her. After a moment of coughing and trying to catch her breath the initiate finally spoke with a strained voice.
"You won't get away with this. You will die here."
Luxeria let off a small laugh. Even in her dying moment, she tried to be intimidating. But Luxeria had sen how quickly the forces were falling. The teachings here were weak as were the people. Even she, an initiate herself for only about nine months, was still stronger than them. That was saying something. If this was the type of Sith this place was creating, then it needed to be eradicated. Taking in a slow deep breath to calm her laughter, she finally replied to the girl. "I'm afraid there is nothing any of you can do to defeat us. You can blame your masters for making you so weak in the next life." With that bit said, she hoped each of them would die in the knowledge that they were failed by their masters by not training them properly and to be stronger. With a squeeze of her hand, she heard the snap of the girl's neck before she released her hold on her and the initiate's body fell limp on the floor.
She watched the woman for a moment before turning her head down the left side hall. The rest had finally gathered together. Five remained and soon none. The element of surprise had been lost, so she couldn't take them off guard. She'd have to approach them with a bit more caution. Nevertheless, she wasn't worried. She trusted the knowledge and power that she had gained under her master and others that resided on Eriadu. It would lead her to victory.

A blood bath was left in the wake of Malvus as the Sith Lord strolled through the hallways of the citadel, leading towards the Overseer's main chambers. The best of his warriors, a guard of silver-masked Sith, stood between the Red Lord and his target. Only a small group of Sith Warriors followed their master, Malvus, into the thick of this battle, slaughtering the Overseer's Guard and proving that the One Sith truly served the greater purpose than this decadent lifestyle upon the most sacred world of Ziost. It had been a long time since the Sith Lord had endured such combat, many generations since he saw Sith fight Sith in a battle of dominance over which group was the strongest and fittest to survive. So far, Malvus was proving the point that the One Sith was to win this bloody competition.
He moved into a large gathering area, most likely a lobby that was immediately in front of the Overseer's main tower. There were soldiers armed with blasters and black armored Sith warriors, armed with all kinds of lightsabers. Their numbers was three times that of Malvus and his five Sith Warriors. However, the Sith Lord was equal and greater than all those present. So while his warriors struck out at the blaster-wielding soldiers, the Red Lord slashed his way through the defensive phalanx of opposing warriors. His blades danced through the air, singing loudly as they cut through metal and flesh, severing limbs and heads with ease. The air occasionally being electrified by the usage of the Sith's extensive knowledge in Sith Magic. Force techniques that electrocuted foes, crushed their skulls, made them go mad with nightmares and kill their friends before ending their own lives... it was a horror out of some ancient tale. And Malvus was the beast that was the source of this sweeping darkness.

Luxeria progressed casually throughout the hals of the citadel, straight for the gathered presence. It was time to finish her work and rejoin her master. There had been a few who appeared, mostly soldiers that fell with little effort. All those that came with her were alert for sudden appearances and wouldn't be so easily jumped. There were four other Force wielders mixed in with the soldiers. They were strong warriors, better than herself she knew. She would place them with Vurkar's strength, not a master of their abilities, but skilled enough that they rose passed being mere apprentices. She could guess they wondered why they were folowing her, one who wasn't as experienced as them, but they did because of who placed her in charge. That was enough to keep an issues from arising. Still, she smirked at the thought. With five initiates waiting, there would be one for each of them.
They finally arrived at a large door. It was heavy due to its appearance and would certainly buy a few moments should an enemy suddenly appear. On the other side, she could feel the presence of the five. This encounter would be different than the last two. Both were sudden and caught the enemy by surprise. Here, they were waiting. No doubt they had taken positions around the room to get a jump on them, meaning the couldn't just run in. Closing her eyes she turned her head to the door. It was very faint, but if she listened carefully, she could her the sound of their lightsabers. They were certainly ready for the group. She chuckled as opened her eyes. She let the image of Anya, Lura, and Tyrana float into her mind. The darkness around her began to deepen as she drew upon its power as her left hand drew back. She focused the energy there and it began to grow into a red orb. A simple Force Push wouldn't be enough to break the doors. She needed to take it further, raise the bar to a Force Burst. Once the orb grew larger than her hand, she spoke a simple line before pushing out and letting the power slam into the door.
"Knock, knock."
Upon impact, the door gave and ripped itself off the hinges as it flew into the room at high speed and slammed into the back wall. As she gazed into the room, she saw a single person fall to the ground. They must have been in the door's path and had to jump to keep from being hit. A shame she couldn't end one of them quicker. With a gesture of her hand, she had the soldiers hold back and motioned for the four warriors to progress inside. She didn't know their races or gender as they kept their faces covered. What she knew was that including her, two others wielded single sabers, one a saber staff, and the fifth used two. They moved in, senses sharp. Only the one could be seen before them. She had expected the other four to emerge quickly, but perhaps that idea changed when five Sith entered the room to join them. It wasn't long before they did appear, looking to make so opening attack. But they were ready and suddenly five fights opened up.
Luxeria looked at the man in front of her as he rushed her, both hands on his hilt and coming down in an overhead strike. Waiting until the last moment, Luxeria's blade came up and clash with his, her single hand grip keeping to her form. She barely held it there before stepping back with her left foot and turning her body as she guided his saber to the ground. His attack came with force, revealing he was one who fought with strength. She had to be careful, remembering what she learned regards to the weakness of her form. She'd have to stay ahead of him and end the fight quickly. She spun around him and made a strike at his back, one he block by bringing the blade over his head and down his back. He pushed up and over, forcing Luxeria's blade to follow and get slammed to the ground. Both then moved to make the next strike. Being close, the initiate took a hand from his saber and tried to slam the back of his fist into her face while Luxeria brought her left hand around to release a Force Push at him. His arm hit hers, keeping his attack from getting to her and the Push forced him to the ground a couple feet away.
Quickly, he was to his feet and back in the fight. The room was filled with flashes of light from all the other battles. But Luxeria kept her focus as the two exchanged strikes, neither getting a hit in or able to make an opening. Luxeria had to admit he was far better than the rest. Maybe he was the top initiate around. Still, it didn't matter. His life would come to an end soon. It came when there blade met from a side strike. She had made the defense and let herself give slightly to encourage the man to push his attack. Both hands rested on her saber now as she fought to hold him. She pushed against him for a moment, making it look like she would break under him. But suddenly, she let herself give, letting her blade retreat a bit, fall, and twirl around his hands as they passed and brought her own saber on top of them, cutting them off.
He cried out in pain as he fell to his knees. He looked at his hands for a moment, wide-eyed, before looking back to Luxeria. From under her hood, she smirked again before bringing her saber down and taking his head. Looking around, she saw the others battles were being wrapped up as well. With the five bodies scattered about, she motioned them out of the room. Two of them, she noticed, had taken some hits, but were otherwise in one piece. They kept quiet about it and moved at Luxeria's command without complaint. They were certainly a strong group. Malvus had done well in his recruitment. Progressing down the halls, she made her way to where she felt her master's presence surging.

The Infinite Imperium outpost on the planet was mainly focused on archeological study. Like many temporary outposts & those whose focus required moving often, the outpost was actually a Lucrehulk Core Ship. While the ship had room for sixty thousand people, only around three hundred were actually stationed on the planet. Two hundred were crew while the remaining hundred were the dependents of the crew. Of the crew, roughly half were on the ship at any given time, sorting & cataloguing the gathered artifacts or preforming ship maintenance. The other half were scattered across the planet in small teams at the various active archeological digs.
The useful thing about using the Core Ship design as a mobile base was that is already had everything a base would need, regardless of the role required. The upper half of the ship was mainly passenger decks, though all had been sealed off & powered down. While those decks could easily be reopened, the crew sections in the bridge spire could support nearly two hundred more people before that would be required. The center ring was dedicated to hangers, easily capable of handling shuttles, fighters or atmospheric craft. At the center of the craft were the reactors & engines of the ship. Below the hangers were the cargo storage areas. When fully stocked & with full passenger decks, the ship could endure for three years. Even with minimal stocks, with the small crew on board, the ship could last more or less indefinitely on the hydroponics facilities that were standard modifications for II Core ships. Below those, & taking up much of the bottom of the ship were the repulsor banks that allowed the ship to land & take off. Unlike the standard Core Ship design, that required the repulsorlifts to be active while landed, the II Core ships had a larger number of legs & additional supports allowing it to land & completely power down if needed. At the very base of the ship were the ground vehicle bays & boarding ramps. These were not nearly as large as most traffic was expected to pass into the main hangers. However, the transport lifts were large enough for even an AT-TE to enter here & be placed in either a storage hold or even travel up to the hanger level.

The 'Breath of History' wasn't sure how much would be required by the descending ship, but they would need to open at least part of one hydroponics deck. It would take a few hours for the life support systems for the deck to fully cycle up & get the area ready for growth. There was a fair amount of nutrient gel for the growers in storage, but as they would be selling off the products drones had already been dispatched to collect local biomass. As it would be rendered into a sterile jelly for the growers to use, they didn't need to be too picky. Of course it would take a few weeks before even the fastest of the crops would start producing actual food. Emergency rations could be produced in days, but they crew was unwilling to inflict the nasty algae stew on others.
Meanwhile, a flurry of activity was happen on the flight deck as well. Several dozen of the large solar collectors were being carted out of storage. They required one of the short range drone shuttles to place them in high orbit, but it wouldn't take long for final checks before that could start. The collectors were fairly efficient about gathering solar energy & converting it into the standard hypermatter storage form used by most factions. They were actually set up to run completely autonomously, like much of the II's equipment, however they did require fairly frequent visits from the drone shuttles to switch out the storage tanks.

Descending from space, the Necrosis entered the upper most reaches of Ziost's atmosphere. From there, it adjusted its trajectory every few hundred meters to help with heat dispersion. Within the next few minutes, the ship would be on the ground and they could begin preparations for exploration as well as for assisting the Imperium's crew with food and fuel. Even if they could top up the ship's reserves to 3/4 full and top up the food stores enough to get them to the next big port, that would be enough for them. Akrak wasn't looking to take everything and leave these people with nothing. They were offering their assistance and aid. They did not turn them away nor lure them into a trap. He could respect that. And provided they didn't interfere with his search of the main Citadel and its surroundings, he wouldn't have any issues with the Imperium's forces.
