He made no effort to acknowledge the reaction of the large Zabrak. His eyes watched the Zabrak, then fell to the girl hwo sat with a look of terror in her eyes, and then back to the Zabrak. As he stood there was no change in his posture, instead he kept his arm extended and began to extend his fingers slowly. While he knew that there were only a few different outcomes for this situation, he knew that what he was about to do could not be undone. That, while perhaps Loki might respond to Anna's plight over an assault, there was a possibility that he would have difficulty retreating unharmed. The injuries he'd already sustained were weighty but they were inconsequential as he contemplated his actions towards the impressive Zabrak and his small, helpless companion. It was almost sickening to watch the Zabrak rise in the defense of another. What had happened to the Zabrak who was willing to toss aside the life of another to preserve his own power? What had become of the being that was so feared that even his father resorted to the worst to amount an assault against him? As Loki rose to his feet and pulled the saber to his hand there was no evidence against the conclusion in Kaja's mind that the Zabrak had give himself over to whatever being now inhabited the body before him. Almost as if the girl Anna had invaded his mind and permanently changed his brain chemistry. It made him want to vomit.
Without comprehending Loki's words out loud, processing them in his head with an invisible scoff, Kaja extended his fingers and let the Force fly through his arm and towards the girl. From his fingers sprang a torrent of lighting. It wasn't the normal blue, or even remotely what one would consider from a traditional form of the technique. Instead it was much brighter, the concentration of pure hatred within it showing in a searing neon blue display of raw power. And no sooner had he released it did it arrive at it's mark and his thoughts wrapped around the words that Loki had spoken. It was true that he could not compare to his father, but within that thought was a deep seated hatred for the idea that Loki could compare him to the man that had destroyed his life. A hatred that showed in a burst within the lightning that arced from his hand, now spraying about along the ground and even towards Loki himself. He was more powerful than his father ever was at his lowest. Even more than his father hoped to be when confined to his physical form. It was the very fact that Loki failed to understand that that made Kaja's rage white hot like a branding iron. It was during that snap revelation that his saber dropped from his belt and entered his hand, the blade exploding to life in it's unstable black blade. He anticipated reaction, and if it was reaction that the Zabrak chose, he would meet more than merely a standing rag doll. ”Not mine, but hers.” He echoed to the Zabrak as he fully extended his arm and fingers into the torrent of lightning current aimed at Anna's form.
Tilting his head a bit as he spoke, he eyed the Zabrak and exhaled a breath. ”Do you not understand?” He asked and turned his hand over to focus the energy that was arced at the girl. "You are not a savior, not by nature. Nor are you a protector. Bonds are fluid, oaths are mere words.” He chided the Zabrak for what few seconds he could before he could note the brute's reaction. ”Let her die, Loki.” He stated definitively. "And with it whatever diseased compassion is forming from her in your remaining heart.” His words were calculated, cold and vicious but none the less as determined as he could have made them. It was here that he would decide if this crew was worth saving. Perhaps he was acting rashly, or out of apprehension of something he could not see, but it was his decision none the less.
"Let her die and be free of her, Lord Militant.”

She was asking about what happened when Adi had protected the Wayward Son by using himself as a turbolaser cork, he assumed....but, why did it hurt her? This was most definitely a development that Matango had not expected. She had grabbed her chest when she said about it hurting, and suddenly, Adi felt horrible for trying to be the hero yet again.
"The Wayward Son was targeted by a fourth turbolaser that our recon didn't show. It popped up out of one of the bodies of water, and managed to get one shot off. I used my armor to plug up the barrel end, and made the position go away. It, however, came at the expense of me getting blasted out of the sky, and destroying my armor. I was pretty badly banged up, too, and went unconscious for a while.
Believe me, I -know- it hurt. I was there." A concerned look crossed the Arkanian's face even as he chuckled nervously, and she could probably feel the worry pouring from him if she looked closely enough. He knew that she was an empath, but he had no idea that she was able to go THAT deeply. He really wasn't used to someone being able to sense other's pain like this. It could get dangerous for both of them in a situation like they had found themselves in at the lab. "I did it to protect the rest of the crew, and the ship. There was little else I could do...No weapons on the CLoWDS platform would have done enough damage quickly enough to stop it from firing..and the Son would not have been able to take another shot like the first. Those turbs were nothing to mess with....they were powerful weapons, and it would have torn the ship to pieces. We would still be there, probably incinerated in the blast." It was true that Adi was unconscious during the team's exfiltration, but he had watched the holovid footage on the trip to Naboo. He had seen how massive the blast was, effectively turning the lab into a smoldering crater. He was quite happy that they had made it out...because if they would have been there when the place exploded, there would have been no escaping the fireball. Whatever had gone boom, it was a highly effective weapon.
"For what it's worth, I'm truly sorry for causing you any pain, Raven. It was most certainly not my intention. Hurting you is the LAST thing I want to do." He almost added "All I want to do is love you" to the statement, but refrained. He knew that it would probably only complicate things further at the very least....at worst, Raven would turn tail, and head back the way she had come...as fast as she could.

The peace of Naboo was shattered by a screech in the air - sentients of all kinds craning their heads to find the source of the sound. They didn't have to search long. Over the horizon, trailing smoke, a squat fifteen meter ship (what some would barely call a ship) barreled over the horizon, its screeching engines and coughing and spluttering reactor a testament to its age. Part crashing, part controlled fall, the ship nosedived to the coordinates provided by the Jedi Raven Alora, and, for one terrifying moment, all who observed the plummeting craft may have feared that it would simply pancake itself into the awaiting villa rather than make any semblance of a graceful landing. And, as it descended with the grace of a rock, their fears were perhaps completely warranted; it was only with twenty meters to spare that retro-thrusters sputtered and coughed into existence, slowing the ship to a more gentle fall. With all watchers breathing a collective sigh of relief.
Slowly, as the ship came to touch down on the ground (albeit, with various landing gear and struts extending at different times, making the craft wobble dangerously as it settled), its engines had no sooner wound down then the ramp descended. A two deck affair, the Explorer Scout Ship's top deck held the cockpit, living quarters, and etcetera - while the bottom deck was the copious five ton (hey, copious for a scout ship!) cargo hold. Even now, the ramp descending, coolants and steam venting, the ramp revealed various crates and cargo modules, rolls of fabrics, knock off goods from Nal Hutta, and various other sundry items. Emerging from the steam and coolant, a figure, nearly two meters tall, and golden skinned. The Firrerreo wore the leather boots and maroon greatcoat of a hardened spacer, with a rather rugged looking heavy blaster pistol at the man's thigh and a vibrocutlass strapped across his back completing the image. Between the man's lips, a metal toothpick, and, in the man's hand, a bottle of...something purple.
Stumbling down the ramp, the man turned to regard the ship. "Aye, eh, er...are we dead?" An animal screech was the only reply, as a bundle of orange and maroon fur streaked out of the ship, and climbed up the Firrerreo's frame to rest at his shoulders. A Momong, a six legged carnivorous monkey - notorious as pets among lowlifes and pirates. The man's hand came up to scratch the animal's large ears, muttering to it absently. "Eh? See? When you don't take a steaming poodoo on the power motivator, we have better landings. Less crashing, more landing. Why I bet we could all the way to Tatoo -" The man was interrupted as a high pitched whistle emitted from one of the ship's port side engines, before a spark and a concussive wave knocked both man and monkey flat onto the ground as said engine exploded violently. Lying there for several seconds, the Firrerreo propped himself up to survey the damage - eyeing the burning wreckage of the engine, the excess coolant leaking out, and, of course, an entire cargo crate worth of goods slowly catching on fire."Why you no good thieving double handling defecating in your hands swindling bug eyed bat eared little Kark! Leaping to his feet, the Firrerreo's blaster already in his hand, the red furred Momong was already streaking across the grounds of the villa, taking cover (for, it knew from experience what came next). "You shat in the motivator again didn't you?!" A blaster bolt punctuated the sentence, gouging a hole in the ground next to the fleeing monkey. With another two bolts trailing the six legged heathen as it disappeared from sight.
"Son's of Jatayus!" Cursed the Firrerreo, spitting on the ground. Holstering the blaster, he looked around, searching for this Raven Alora he was supposed to meet. No doubt she, or someone, would be quickly on their way.

Farris let his hand fall to his side as Thea walked away. His eyes narrowed on her as she left the son's cargo bay and he sighed. 'Time' she had asked for. He wondered briefly if he had wasted his time, attempting to be genuine with someone. If this was how people reacted to honesty, he had no hope of truly gaining forgiveness from Adieumus or Anna. Perhaps he was better off alone- like he had been sense the death of his companion. He saw suspicion in every eye that landed on him, and while he knew that was not very probable- considering not everyone knew how shifty he could be, he still felt on edge and self conscious. Self consciousness was not good for him, or for his job. Being here, attempting to form true, lasting relationships wasn't going to work. It never had for him.
With a resigned nod to himself, the Polydroxol picked up his only bag, slung it over his shoulder and walked down the ramp. He'd turn in the direction of Theed- and Thea, Anna, nor Adieumus would have to be bothered with him anymore. And he was alright with that. Farris had continuously traveled for years. Perhaps he would find a new task to complete- a new employer. He'd just become somebody else, and these looks of suspicion would stop.
Yet, even as he contemplated what form to shift into next- he was struck in the left shoulder by a screaming bolt of plasma. The silver skinned Polydroxol stood there, mildly stunned for a moment, as he looked down at the hole in his shoulder. It slowly closed up leaving a burnt circle in his nice white lab cote. His eyes found the assailant, and after passing over him, Farris noticed a plume of black smoke curling up from what he assumed was the man's ship. You're aim's off. He said, peering down once more at his damaged lab cote. Now I need a new cote. It's hard to look like a proper doctor without one of these you know. He said, pointedly to the Firrerrio

Anna's eyes flicked to the Zabrak as he shot to his feet once more. Her fears were not abated however. She knew what was about to happen couldn't be changed. Every choice had already been made by all three involved. And even though she had determined that she would accept death when it was revealed to her, she never thought it would be revealed so quickly, and so close to the actual end... And going against her previous choice, the Seer was afraid. What would happen to someone like her after death? Would all the things she saw happening in the future still happen? What would happen to Loki? Would he continue on his path of renewal or would this experience toss him back into the darkened pit he'd managed to pull himself out of. She was bothered by the fact that she really did not know. She- for some reason, could not see how this action would end up impacting the rest of the future. Perhaps it was because it was literally her end, and she had no right to see after that. Slowly, she closed her eyes- even as the armored man's fingers opened. And then, she felt it. The lightning was cold at first- then warming to a strange pressure, like someone had grabbed her very bones and were shaking them. That warmth became hotter and hotter, feeling like glowing red needles were racing through her vanes. Her limbs began to shutter and very soon, her whole body shook and convulsed on the ground- but Anna was unaware of any motion. Her eyes were clinched shut, but still, all she could see was stellar white- the blinding rage of a twisted motivation. And every drop of that rage was ripping through her in such a physical form, she was surprised she still felt anything at all. She was sure she was screaming- crying out in what agony she knew was flooding her mind, but she couldn't hear it. All she could hear was loud cracking sounds, like gunshots firing in irregular paces. Past, present and future suddenly faded into a blur of flashing light in the Seer's mind. To onlookers, she'd be flailing on the ground, as her body attempted to pull itself into a tight protected ball- to little avail. Her cries soon dwindled into voiceless breaths, though her mouth still gaped. And for the moment- she wanted to die. She wanted to drown in this ocean of agony, because then....then she would find absolute peace.
Raven bit her lip as she listened to the Arkanian speak. She tightened slightly and clinched her hands, one holding onto his saber firmly. I lost consciousness, as I fell out of the ship. She said in a shaky breath. I was holding onto Sinina's hand. oh- by the force- if I hadn't of woken up before we hit.... Her eyes widened at the prospect of killing another person on her fall, because of her blasted Empathy- because of that kiss. She wanted to punch him. Turning away, she closed her eyes and relaxed. Adieumus could not have possibly known how strong a bond her empathy could build in such a short time. I- I'm sorry. I should have told you... She shifted slightly and looked back at him, sheepishly. A bond between us wouldn't be so powerful if...She hesitated. If I did not have feelings for you as well... She bit her lip and glanced down at the sand below her feet. She wanted to know what he would say- what his expression was ,but by the force, she could not summon the strength to lift her head to meet his gaze.

Cursing at the Momong, which he could hear chittering somewhere off in the distance, his blaster slipping back into its holster. Jashin turned towards the source of the voice to find...some kind of living mercury man. No, wait, silver? Was he actually made out of silver? "What the kark are you? Silicone based life form?" Jashin poked the sentient, noticing the give (or lack thereof) of the apparent shape shifter. "No. Not silver" Jashin muttered, somewhat disappointed. Turning on his heel, he looked around for the Jedi Raven Alora, taking a swig from his bottle of purple liquid as he did so. "Yeah, sorry about the coat. Aim's fine - the little six legged bastard is fast is all. You didn't see it, did you? Probably taking another dump on...I dunno, something that should not be dumped on." Jashin muttered something intelligible under his breath, shaking his head once more, and turned to regard the silver being. "I have a message for Raven Alora. In person. Where is she? And do you have more..." Jashin trailed off, actually taking the time to look at the label on the bottle. Realizing it was in some unreadable alien language, he shrugged, and finished his thought. "...More...bottles of bright fluid? Preferably with hallucinogenic or inebriating qualities?"

*Sinina was walking along not really paying attention to where she was going, she had no particular direction in mind. She was distracted. It was unusual as she was usually very aware of every detail of a room, every movement having purpose, direction. But she felt lost in her thoughts. She was so distracted that she didn't notice the ship that "landed," she didn't notice the blaster shots, she didn't even notice Farris until she bumped into him from behind. She blushed and whispers meekly at him.*
Oops, sorry.. wasn't paying attention to where I was going..
*She frowns, he looked different, not really that much physically, but it felt off. She frowns as she looked up at him.*
What's wrong..? Where were you off too?
*She bites her lip softly as she looks to the other man that walked up and was talking. She shakes her head slightly, how had she missed even seeing him. She was surprised at herself.
Who are you? I don't know you. Why would i lead a stranger to Raven? Especially one asking for hallucinogens...

He was stunned. Not only had he affected Raven, but Sinina was also almost an unwitting victim for his trying to be a hero. What he had tried to do almost backfired, and nearly caused Raven and Sin to be severely harmed in the drop. He felt worse and worse about what he had done, due to the fact people he cared about almost became unintentional casualties of his actions. He had to truly be far more careful in the future. If Raven wouldn't have regained her composure, force knows what would have happened. Then, she dropped another bombshell....she, too, had feelings developing.
"Wait....you....its....Um...." He was really trying to wrap his mind around what she had said when she turned away. The kiss had been, he thought, his last. He truly did not think he was going to survive this mission. Indeed, he almost -hadn't-. Now, those feelings he had for her were starting to come back his way. He was thrilled, ecstatic....and frightened beyond words. He had done everything possible to avoid falling for someone, and yet, here he was. He tried to regain some sense of composure so he could speak."You have feelings for me as well?" he managed to squeak out. It was unbelievable....he was a hotheaded scoundrel, forever getting into scrapes and fights. Raven seemed the exact opposite....calm, serene, and would avoid a fight where Adi would not. Apparently, opposites -did- attract.
He walked over to her, and around to her front, kneeling down so that he was eye level with the shorter Jedi Master. "Raven....I....." Words would not come, nor would they do in this situation. He reached his right hand up, and softly caressed her left cheek. His blue eyes stared deeply into hers of shimmering brown. Leaning in, he closed his eyes, and once again pressed his lips to hers, pulling her face to his as he moved toward her, kissing her deeply. His mind was swimming, losing himself completely in her aura. Nothing else existed at that moment, just Adi and Raven. For this one moment, the universe was perfect, and at peace...at least in Matango's head. Something about her just called to him, made him feel safe, and protected....like nothing could ever cause him harm.
For this moment in time, Adieumus Matango felt what true happiness was.

Raven couldn't help but smile as Adi seemed to loose his voice even more than he had before- if that were even possible. She was sure he was not expecting her to mirror his feelings back at him. For some reason people always saw her as an unobtainable goal- and those who didn't see her that way were very rare. She wanted to hold up a hand, to tell him that it was alright and that he could take time to formulate his words. But she blinked, And he was kneeling before her. His hand touched her cheek and before she really knew what was happening- the same thing happened as last time and his lips pressed against her's. All of his passion and tucked away emotions assaulted her mind through their contact. For that moment, she pressed her lips to his just as firmly, closing her eyes and relaxing her shoulders. Just for a moment- before she pulled away and rested her small hands on his shoulders, holding him meticulously at arm's length. This is dangerous. Alora said, catching her breath and peering at him seriously. You cannot understand what this is. I am not the same as you. People rely on us- Sinina relied on me to get her to the ground safely, and she almost died for it- because... She clinched her teeth and looked away. Because of my feeble emotions. I- you don't need the added responsibility of my empathy. It would only hinder you. Once again her gift felt more like a curse, and she suddenly looked less angry, and more sad. Certainly- someone like Adieumus would not want to give up his fighting spirit, which was so much a part of him- to share his heart with her, not after what he learned about his impact on her just by their feelings for one another. And she would not expect him to. It was a huge responsibility- at least in Raven's mind.

Dangerous.....
She pulled away, saying that it was a dangerous thing. He understood that she was an empath...a powerful one at that. Emotions WERE dangerous for her. But she didn't give herself enough credit. Her emotions weren't feeble...It was just the fact that she was not expecting what happened with Adi being blown out of the sky. It was in the moment where she pulled back, and turned away again that he began to understand.
She was just as frightened as he was of what was happening. He was beginning to find his words now, and began to speak.
"I see it a little differently, Raven." He stood up, and moved so that he was beside her. Looking over to her, he admired the beauty he was gazing upon. He could almost feel the apprehension rolling off her. She was used to feeling everyone else's emotions, but hers were guarded, and protected. When they came into play, she was uncertain of them...not wanting to let them flow. "Its not dangerous, per se. Not compared to what I am used to. There is something there when I'm with you that I've never had....Like, the Universe is perfect in its imperfection." He sighed softly, his confidence starting to build.
"There has been something about you since the day I first met you." A small smile crept across his face as the memory of that meeting flitted through his mind. "For a long time, it was just admiration of who you are, what you can do. However, since we ran into each other on Yavin IV?" He cleared his throat, as his words yet again began to falter. "It has become something far more...intense."
He paused, looking away...out over the lake. The scene before them was simply beautiful, the waves lapping at the small, sandy beach. The sound was soothing, relaxing...much like how Raven made him feel every time she was near. There was just something about her than made him feel as if things could actually get better. "I can't say exactly -why- what I feel for you has grown so much...I just know that if I hadn't expressed it...." He paused for a half second, trying to find the right words. "I didn't know if I'll ever get the chance again."
The sun was hanging low on the horizon. Sunset was always one of Adieumus' favorite times of the day...at least on planets that had a day/night cycle. Being on Honoghr for so long, he had grown used to seeing the sun set, and grown to love it. The sky was ablaze in rainbow of colors, ranging from red and orange, to a vivid yellow. The soft, fluffy clouds drifted by, casting reflections across the glass-like surface of the lake. There wasn't even a breath of wind to disturb the serene water. The sun, the clouds, the entire sky...it was duplicated across the mirrored lake.
"I didn't want to look back on this moment, and regret not telling you how I feel."

A villa. A karking villa in the middle of nowhere... Great. No way to make contact with HQ. He needed to get to a populated city. Theed would be good. He was familiar with the protocol there. Maybe this group had to go into town for something? Maybe? He turned back to the ship, watching Thea leave the ship. He hadn't seen the Pilot get off yet. Hopefully he hadn't missed them and they were still on-board. He could ask about a supply run or.. something.
He turned back and hopped up the ramp, heading through the hallways towards the front, when he felt something tug at his shirt. He flung around, ready for someone to be there... but there was nothing. He slowly turned back around, only taking one step until he felt something in his mind, calling to him. He recognized it instantly. The Dagger. He turned his head to the door he had just passed. In there. This must be Loki's room.
As much as he did relinquish the Dagger into Loki's care... He couldn't let it stay in his hands. He didn't want to cause trouble with this group. He actually wanted the opposite. Hopefully everyone else would see it as well, that someone like Loki could not have the Dagger.
He pushed the button to open the door, only for it to bleep a deep tone. Locked. Dominic looked both ways down the hallway. No one.
He had two ways to do this. 1.Break open the panel that housed the button and hack his way in. Easy, but also easy to find out. 2. Go into the cockpit, and release the lock there. There had to be some fail safe or emergency override. Even something like 'Captain's say so' would be fine. Most ships and stations had something like that. And this model of ship? Seemed new enough. And much harder to detect unless you were looking for the log.
He continued heading up to the cockpit, seeing it left unlocked. He walked right in, sat down and started looking through the prompts and options left open by the pilot. Eventually he found his way to specific controls of the ship, and found the locked door. With a tap of a screen, it was unlocked. He backed out of everything, leaving it just where he left it. Even making sure the seat looked the same.
He made his way back to Loki's room, checking once more if anyone was around before slipping into Loki's room and shutting the door behind him. He made a quick glance around or anything, and sure enough, left right on the bed and out in the open, something wrapped in black cloth.

Farris blinked, listening to the man speaking about what he was actually shooting at. He shook his head, glancing downward as the newcomer poked him. No, unfortunately I'm not silver. It's more of a organic mercury alloy. He said simply, glancing around for the primate the man was looking for. I'm unsure where Raven Alora is right now- but I know she'd tell you that what ever was in that bottle, is probably not healthy for you- and I'd have to echo her concerns. I am- after all, a Do- Someone bumped into his back, prompting the Polydroxol turn his head and look down at Sinina. He smiled warmly at her- as much as his cold exterior would allow. But his expression became serious when she noticed something off- about him and asked where he was going. He answered her, softly. I.. well I was going to be on my way- seeing everyone is as patched up as I can make them, He frowned and shook his head. But then someone shot me. Hi smile returned quickly and gently as he added. You look a lot better though- That rest did you a lot of good. Turning back to the Man, he put a hand to his chest and spoke a little louder. I'm Farris- a Polydroxol if you must know. This is Sinina. Who, may I ask, are you? Considering you're looking for our resident Jedi Master.

Loki had little thought Anna, he heard the words spoken by Kaja, and he sneered, but then stray lightning hit him, then it arched through and more hit him, some missing, but now it had a connection. Loki dropped to a knee, he was weaker than he thought. He growled as he stood, his cybernetic began flickering and smoking, then it flashed and popped. As the lightning crackled around himself and still concentrated on Anna, Loki struggled as he stood, he stumbled but kept his footing, with a snap hiss, his saber ignited. More lightning arched towards Loki, it was the hottest he had felt, white hot searing and painful, it bypassed his pain receptors, it was thought it was alive with Kaja's very hatred. It was dark and vile. Loki raised his hand, and sent a blast of his own lightning at Kaja, but with his cybernetic eye it went wide of Kaja, as lightnig from Kaja's arched with it, causing apart of the pathway to explode behind Kaja, splinters flying through the air, now the others would be alerted, but the world was dark.
Loki took a few steps forward. "KAJAAAAAAAAAAAA!" He bellowed, and another blast went wild, another patch of ground exploding in a plume of dirt and bush, Loki took antoher step and stumbled as more lightning arched and slammed him to his knees. He screamed in pain, the sound building, becoming higher pitched, Loki clambered to his feet, all sense of decorum lost as his robes flashed, flames catching them now He held up his hand, lighting arching from his finger tips, lightning catching his left side, burning searing, damaging skin no blade could touch. He could see nothing but Kaja's blur, blackness was settling in, as he raised his saber, ready to toss it at Kaja's outstreached hand, he stood the scream dying as his voice died, trailing off into the void, though it was louder for sure than anything else for miles and it left a ringing in ones ears.

Raven followed the Arkanian with her eyes as he moved to stand at her side. She frowned slightly and glanced down at her feet again. I know you're not afraid, Adi- but... I am. I'm not use to fearing for my life. I'd jump in front of sith lightning for someone- fight impossible battles, but that's all my choice. She looked up at him again, a deep frown etched into her face. But this is different. I'm giving up a piece of my control- to someone else, and that's never gone well for me. She closed her eyes and sighed slightly. My first interest- gosh, back when I was Knight. We were very close, but the darkside is enticing and when he fell- he took me with him. There was no fighting it. His desires were my desires, and I let Bogan take me without so much as a struggle. And he left me there- lost, alone in the darkness, isolated from everyone who cared about me.She stiffened at the memory, and shook her head. The experience, while terrible- taught me how risky an emotional attachment could be. And while I'm not afraid of you falling to the dark side- I cannot ask you to shoulder the knowledge that what happens to you, may very well impact me. It's not fare to you.
She glanced out over the lake, and relaxed her shoulders again. She liked being next to him- and how he described his own feelings for her made her feel less like a Jedi- and more like a special friend. She liked the feeling. Inwardly, she wanted him to say it was alright and she was worth it- but she also hated the fact that her presence would be another worry in the back of his mind. Matango could be reckless- and perhaps that was something she loved about him. She supposed she could endure it- if he could. Thanks, She said, at length, looking over at him with a swirl of emotion behind her eyes. For telling me.
As Dominic opened the door to the Zabrak's quarters- then shut it behind him, he might feel a subtle energy shift in the room. An unnatural wind blew through the compartment- as if the ship's vents went briefly on overdrive. The object wrapped up on the black bundle pulled on Dominion fervently as the eerie breeze tostled the old black robes, moving them aside slightly and revealing the hilt of the dagger. Its runes were dim- pulsating weakly, almost desperate for someone to use its edge.

"You are most welcome, Mi'lady."
He was beginning to see why she was so apprehensive. If she -were- to develop anything deeper for him, she risked falling in more ways than one should he continue on his present course of recklessness. It would be a huge gamble on her part, allowing things to go on as they were. But...what if? What if he were to give it all up, right here and now? What if he were able to walk away from this life of constant battle? Would it even be possible? All he had known for pretty much his entire life had been training for the next battle..or fighting in it. Could he?
Yes. He could.
Ever since his near-fatal encounter with Ashrah Intalbo on Mandalore at the end of the Mandalorian War, he had been searching for a way to just leave it all behind. To keep this up, it would most certainly bring about his demise far earlier than he would if he were to just get away from that life. Raven probably didn't realize any of this, either. What he said next were words that he never thought he would hear himself utter.
"I'd give it all up in the blink of an eye, without looking back, Raven." His tone changed, his face showing just how serious he was. "Im tired of fighting, I'm tired of running...I'm tired of always being the one who steps up and goes to war every time a bad guy decides to get a wild hair up his arse. If it means me doing that, for even the slightest chance to see where things might go between us?" It was now Adi who turned away, and took a ragged, shallow breath. Quietly, he continued. "For us...for -you-...." The sun continued to droop even lower in the sky, casting its long shadows from the trees on the other side of the wide lake. The sky was now beginning to darken slightly, as evening was taking hold. He turned back to her, and again knelt in front of her. "I would leave it all behind....right here, right now."
The words were spoken, before even he realized he had said them...but they were the absolute truth. He -would- be willing, without question, to give up every bit, just for a chance to be able to do what he thought he could never do again....love.

Dominic walked towards the Dagger, that was calling to him. A smile creeped across his face as he got closer to it. The pulsating runes, the hilt. It was begging to be used. On anyone and everyone in this area. To swallow their blood. Their life. Dominic bent down and reached out for the Dagger.
And flipped the black cloth over it once more. He straitened up, looking at it while still smiling. "You thought you could still control me? Nah. And it seems like Loki is doing a good enough job. Keeping you contained. That's good." After a moment, he bent back down, and reversed it's direction 180 degrees. "There. That will tell him enough." He nodded to himself. "You taste any blood that belongs to these people, I'm tossing you in acid. These are my people to bring to ruin. Not yours. Back off."
And with that, he would walk right of the room. He checked the surrounding hallways once more, then proceeded back to the cockpit where he would, after making sure the coast is clear, re-enter into the computer and lock Loki's room once more. Then he would leave the ship for the final time that day.

"Eh? Are you drunk? My health is it? That'd be my concern." Said the firrerreo, perfectly seriously to the pair. Tossing the battle to the side, where it shattered into pieces, he dusted himself off before muttering something under his breath. "Polydroxl? Organic mercury. That'd fetch a lot on the black market." Coughing, the man flourished himself into a bow, an easy smile adorning his lips. "But that's neither here or now. I am, eh, call me Fox. That's what my name means anyway, in my native tongue. I am a, eh, "free entrepreneur" as it were. Others might call me a pirate. Or refresher slime, depending on who you talk to. I'm here to find Raven Alora, and pass on to her a message from one Gene Kenobi, Jedi Master."
Turning, the Fox actually took in the villa at large, the sprawling ground, the sand, the lakes, the beautiful sunsets...and snorted in disdain. "Aye, and I'll be needing the facilities to fix my grand ship here, the pride of my pirate fleet, the Rogues Gallery, so I can be off on my way. I assume you rich types have that much, eh?" Turning, the man started off in a random direction - despite not knowing where said Raven Alora actually was - before he paused and help up a finger. "Oi, and my monkey. Need someone to find the damn monkey." And he was off to somewhere, maybe nowhere, not caring if he was followed or left alone.

*Sin's face slowly turns to a confused frowned as she looked up at Farris, why would he do that, why would he just up and leave. Did something happen that she'd missed while she was asleep? She gingerly reaches out to touch his hand as she looks up at him.*
You would just leave? Without even saying goodbye? Why?
*She may be the daughter of a Nightsister, she may be tainted by the dark side down to her DNA, but everyone in the crew had fought together on Etti, to her, they were all her friends, and the fiercest of mean stares would go out to any that hurt them. She smiles again at him.*
Thanks.. I do feel alot better..Fixed my outfit with some modifying. A nice relaxing trip through the fresher, and a nap.
But then the stranger started talking again, her nose wrinkled up and her face contorted a bit, he was so strange, and weird, she didn't like it. His demeanor, his appearance, his personality, she felt...almost revolted by everything about him. She even takes a step back away from him, 'fresher slime was putting it lightly.. She frowned more, in what world would Raven even know this man.. she didn't like it one bit.*
You can't just come in and start barking orders like you own the place. Find your own Simian.
*She frowns again feeling a new disturbance somewhere nearby. She sighs deeply and shakes her head, if she'd been a gambler she'd say Loki. Or Adi.. but wasn't sure which, and much as she'd much rather find that out... She didn't trust leaving this drunk fresher slime to wander the villa on his own. Much as she didn't like it she started after him, to keep an eye on him, struggling to keep up with her crutch, muttering under her own breath.*

"Di’kutla ik'aad!" Shot back Jashin over his shoulder, his sharpened alien hearing picking up the muttered insult. Surveying the grounds, he spied a slight movement in a nearby shrub - and dropping down into a crouch, unholstered his blaster pistol in one smooth motion. Flicking the power setting from kill to stun, he waited, motionless, as the movement in the bushes stilled - no doubt suddenly aware that Jashin was on to it. For a tense moment, neither bush nor Jashin moved, until, with a burst of movement, both burst into motion. From the bush, a blur of orange and maroon fur, six legs propelling the Momong as fast as it could physically move - and even faster was jashin's hand, raising the blaster, leveling it, and his finger squeezing the trigger. The BZZZT! of a stun pulse filled the air, the disc of blue energy streaking out and enveloping the fleeing 'simian' as the youngster put it. The Momong tumbled, once, twice, thrice - right to a stand still, its face square in the dirt, its legs splayed and twitching. Idly, Jashin scooped the creature up and flung its unconscious form over a shoulder as he continued his walk - inspecting the grounds all the while. Looked to be a private villa. They wouldn't have the necessary equipment to repair his ship. Or move his, ahem, "cargo". Nor would they care, no doubt.
"...Son of a gundark. Son of double dealing, monkey munching, defecating in the hands and then wiping it on the couch, idiotic, moronic, hypocritical, stoicism until you bleed from your ears, literally spank your ass and call you a padawan - " This rant continued for many minutes, punctuated by Jashin stomping back to his ship - now thankfully absent of coolant and flames - and continued onward even as he laid the unconscious monkey on a cargo crate, and fetched a tool kit. Coming back out of the ship, spying the child from earlier, he paid her no mind and continued muttering, walking behind the small ship to the port ventral engine. "- call me an aunt of a Hutt and a Gammorean, bastard child of an unholy union, and a son, of, a, kark!" The last word was punctuated by a rather savage kick at the *mostly* collapsed and missing engine, Jashin's head coming down with a *thunk* on durasteel plating. For the first time since his rant, he eyed the young girl that - presumably - had followed him with some kind of intent. "I've seen some strange things in this universe, girl. Dragons that fly through space. Asteroids not made of rock, but of gems like diamonds. I met a sentient of such highly evolved thought, that it thinks in multiple dimensions - sees time, and hears different possibilities in the time stream. I've seen heroes buried, leaving widows behind, and bitter sons to grow into villains. I've seen planets that have never had a war, and civilizations that have never known peace. Seen a lot of strange stuff."
Jashin trailed off, and gestured at the villa proper, where he presume Raven Alora to be. "Then I met Jedi. And that, that sweetheart...that introduced a whole new breed, a whole new reality of strange." Jashin laughed then, a pure and hearty laugh, and shaking his head, he took out a fusioncutter, turning on a fine beam, and began removing panels.

Farris flinched slightly when young Echani touched his arm- almost like she might feel his untrustworthy past rolling off of him. Who did she think he was? Some kind hearted doctor who followed them onto their ship to treat the wounded after they blew up -his- lab? How could she be so different from the woman he had gotten to know over the past few months? Would she eventually become repulsed by his presence like Thea had- if she stuck around him long enough? Perhaps that was the real reason he considered leaving. If he left now, only Thea would have negative thoughts about him. Everyone else would continue to believe him to be the under cover doctor who helped free their friend. All of them, except, perhaps, Adieumus Matango. But he supposed it was selfish of him to just up and leave- especially with Anna so far behind in her recovery. He couldn't spend so much time rescuing her, only to have her die of neurological instability because no one here knew how to undo what- frankly- he had helped do. Jedi and force users they may be, but doctors they were not. Except Dominic. The last thought gave him a smile- one which turned softer as he looked down at the Echani peering up at him with questioning eyes. Because I can be a selfish coward at times. He said, then put a hand on her shoulder. but seeing that at least someone in this group knows how to recover properly, has changed my mind. I'll stick around a little longer. And then the man spoke, and Sinina tightened. Even without the force, the Polydroxol could feel the disdain rolling off of her. I don't think you're Raven Alora's type.... or- Gene Kanobi's for that matter. He added in a clipped manner- even as the man staggered off to find his lost creature, trading Mandalorian insults with Sinina. Farris had to admit- the girl had spirit. He watched them both hobble back to the newcomer's ship, and listened idly to Jashon's long list of what he had seen and how it didn't compare to Jedi. Slowly, the tall silver being made his way to stand close to Sinina- somewhat protectively. It wasn't because he doubted her abilities- but she'd been through enough, and this man had already shot him. And he had this inexplicable urge to punch him. Well, Aren't you poetic. I may not be a force sensitive, but should Raven Alora come anywhere around here- your instability will probably reek through the force. She'll come running just to see what the disturbance is, and how to make it go away. He grinned slightly. He had no idea what Raven would do. He really didn't even know much in the way of Raven's personality either. He'd never met the woman, save for one uneasy glance he got from her back at the lab- and her saber ramming through the back armor plating of a Mandalorian. He'd put her in the group of people who didn't trust him- and that was a really large group.
