Random thing I noticed: When I try to search, results aren't turning up beyond a certain time now. I can't pinpoint when, I'd estimate about 24 hours ago is when the cutoff seems to be. Is this a bug? Did I hit some setting by mistake when searching or in my profile settings? I don't think I hit anything while searching, since I tried multiple times while completely reloading the search bar. Did searching just get unindexed, or is Proboards just being dumb? Wanted to bring this back up, since I don't think there was an answer. It's doing it again, even if I specify to search within the last year. Won't be much point in a search system if we can't search past a certain amount of time... |

Yeah, Corr's right.
He doesn't speak for us. As someone who has enjoyed the benefits of this site for many years, and also as someone who knows he would never have time to do half the work you Whills do, I am eternally grateful.
I may not have the personal relationship with you that some on the site do, but our interactions have always been pleasant, and more than speedy in replies from Admins or Whills to questions I had.
Keep up the good work, and never mind the haters.

Agreed 100% with those above; the words of one disgruntled. . . well, idiot, for lack of better word, do not represent the sites userbase. I've taken only a basic level programming course during college - and the sheer amount of hours and the complexity of code to do what the Whills have done is mind numbing. I in no way have payed for their work, or have donated in any fashion - and it is only through the generosity of those who host this FREE site that I enjoy it's benefits...so you take however long you want to, and you give us whatever updates or info you damn well please. Because, the way I see it, the Whills render us a free service...we dont have the slightest right to bash them for something that we are essentially mooching off of for free, especially when its costing others money out of pocket.
Whills, thank you very much for your work: I'm just happy to have a site running, some awesome mods to do the labor work for me, and my weird, ecletic, and slightly disfunctional family back.

Also, one thing I noticed: Notification markers in the silver theme are dark ad hard to read. Any way to make those stay red like on the default theme, or maybe a brighter color? This has been fixed for all themes. |

Another quick suggestion: Is it possible to make it so that we have to click the actual shoutbox button to bring up the shoutbox, rather than include the blank space to the right of it as well? Just a minor nuisance, really, but something I thought was worth asking. Fixed as well. |

Crom'nem, the Whills are aware of this issue, and have found out that it is a probards-level issue. We have reported the issue and received feedback, and are hoping that the problem will be fixed within the next few days. If not, then you have my guarantee I will pester them until it is fixed.
