Galactic Republic

Maybe you could make assignments for those of us who are active and then we can personally PM just a few?

I was thinking look at the list of individuals, assign each of us a few, that way no one has to PM too many, no one gets left out, and no one gets repeated. But, as always, that's just an idea and I conceed to you. My suggestion is only meant to convey my willingness to help.

lets break for now, if we want to say a defense resolution was passed, asking each world to create and maintain a "militia" of sorts, to better hold the republics' enemies at bay then taht matter can be concluded entirely.

Excuse me. Is the Galactic Republic supporting the jedi war effort against the Mandos?

So would you guys object to me requesting a commission to fight the mandos and providing a Nebulon B Cruiser or an equivelent sized vessel?

Alaric is an ancient Knight of the Old Republic. He along with his crew and squad of jedi NPC's crashed on Malachor during the KOTOR era and were frozen in stasis until being reawakened by Jud'dayus. We're still writing the SL, but since we know how it's probably going to end and he's leaving for a little bit, i'd like to start writing out in the galaxy.

Alaric and his crew are pretty racist against Mandalorians since they just came from fighting the Mandos in the KOTOR era Mando-Republic war, so hearing that the mandos are back to blowing stuff up would have them fired up and vengeful.

Also, Alaric and the other Jedi have been disillusioned by the sith Jud'dayus who provided perhaps a biased opinion of the galaxy and the jedi order... Furthermore the jedi order itself has changed much since the KOTOR era and Alaric and friends aren't necessarily liking what they are seeing. (completely part of his character, this is no way represents OOC the jedi writers) so they are going to refuse to rejoin the main order and instead do what they believe this era's jedi are not doing: fighting the darkside wherever it can be found.

So we would be willing to pledge ourselves as sort of Republic-exclusive knights to be used as the Republic deems fit, since we believe in the Old Republic and New Republic absolutely. For you Crom'nen, we can be used as a tool and for the greater Republic, be a jedi sect that will sort of be like your own personal order, if that's what you're into. If not, then we'd still like to meet with the Republic and request a vessel to protect the Republic.

My crew is only 400, so any vessel that is decently equipped and can support a crew of that size would be cool. Maybe a Corellian Corvette?

That sounds great Crom'nen, I had appreciated your writing and your character from a distance and it'd be nice to help the Republic and have the opportunity to assist in your character development and such.

I am using my allotment, since this is my new main character.

A victory Class Star Destroyer would be nice, but that takes a much larger crew than my 400 soldiers, and at the moment, I don't think Alaric is in any position to hire or rally random individuals to his cause. So either I'd need a smaller ship... Or perhaps... Ryloth would be willing to provide a crew loyal to the Republic to my mission?

I'd be interested in starting writing asap, with Jud on a business trip, nothing much is happening lately and I can post in the Senate Hangars whenever you're ready to receive me. Or we can talk about the best way for us to meet. Maybe I wouldn't even have clearance into the hangar and instead i'm just outside yelling or something. Maybe as a jedi i'd have the ability to speak to the senators in forum? Or maybe meet privately with some?
