You can have the Mon Cal fleet over Mon Cal called in to magically defend Ryloth. Like you, I never wanted it, but the evils of being sucked in by being responsible and willing. I can also have the 501st, if he is down, to help with the defense-- of which I believed has dragged on way too long, in my opinion.
I will also have it known, though the Senate has grown weary of them, as long as Cihlbar is Chancellor, the Republic is still projedi. . .q now. Though there could be a great House of Cards RP there where Cihlbar is disgraced or even meets his untimely death. . .

I was meaning more that I finally need to break down and work toward me fleet allotment. I have right now his personal Corellian Corvette, and the Chir'daki. Ryloth needs to purchase Mon Cals to defend itself.

The 401st would be down for showing up, if you need specific boots on the ground somewhere. However I've written them so they specialize in occupation and counter-insurgency. Still Republic soldiers and I'd be happy to assist while I wait for a deployment (there was talk a long time ago about sending them to Corulag to prevent the breakaway to the Empire, but I've heard no updates on that and it smacks of Crimea).

Well, you could always go chiss for a neutral source of ships, though I don't know if you count them as humans or not.
And if that's a problem you could try talking to the YV but they aren't real co-operative IC, at least not historically, maybe their time on Sekot has changed them for the better... (Even Han Solo wouldn't bet on it those odds)
Rendili is mostly human, so that's out
CEC has a substantial non-human presence in the form of Selonians and Drall., you could just put in a special request that all workers on your order be non-human....
Mon Cal you already have under consideration
Bothawui made a few of it's own ships
Let's not forget the Hapes Consortium with their unique Battle dragons, and other vessels.
.... If you need more let me know, but that's what came to mind in the first five minutes of considering the question at hand.

If you want help selecting your fleet, I can help there too, but I think you're most qualified to pull together something of appropriate taste for Ryloth. For the defense of a system, you may want a few ships with plenty of stopping power, instead of many small, agile ships.

It all depends on how you want to play your fleet. Think out some kind of special strategy, like utalising movement and broadsiding, or quick hit and runs, long range missile barrages, or a mixjure. Try to make some of your ships the main battleships, make their specialities the main weapon of the fleet and have the rest of the vessels be the kind that can support it.
Like having small quick ships that can handle fighters while you have a couple Broadside-class wessels fireing hundreds of missiles on the other side of orbit.
Or something.

That's part of my problem. I don't want to have to play them at all. But I can't let an attack like this one happen uncovered. So I'm forced to take up a fleet to defend Ryloth, or leave it open to future attacks. So any advice would be most beneficial.

Designing an effective flotilla is not as simple as pulling several ships together and hoping they work in concert. You're wanting a defense fleet, therefore you're choices should reflect such a deed. (By that I mean heavily armoured Republic vessels that are able to take a beating, but dish out some punishment in return. For that you'll want Mon Calamari vessels for both their redundant shielding system and their impressive hangar spaces for fightercraft.) So to start I'd advise looking into MC80 Liberty or Home One types for your battle groups command ship.
We may be foes on the In Character political spectrum, but here in the Out of Character realm any piece of help should be welcomed to help make the In Universe happenings more entertaining.

So what breakdown would you all recommend? It seems that the fleet limits have heavily changed since I last looked. Either that, or I'm not understanding something right.

BTW, Koronov has a proposal that would fund your fleet. I will explain IC when I get a chance to finally go post in your office

So... What's new everyone? Anyone doing anything in their offices? Is there anything to do until Crom'nen returns for the Jedi trial?

With regards to my potential RP, is it possible to get someone to start us off, when we're ready? Nothing special, just a quick briefing and then a farewell, so we have at least 1 character who at leasts know we exist (even if they have to deny it).

Replied.
I'm trying to get Crom'nen back to Coruscant as quickly as possible. I'm having trouble getting Lessu wrapped because of RL issues with one of the other guys.
Darrex, what do you need this briefing to be? Any member of the military committee or the Chancellor could do it. I skimmed your post, but what do you need from us exactly?

If one of you guys wanted to post for me I could provide all the info on the set up I'd like and even write most or all of the actual briefing myself. It's just a way to get the crew together and have a first meeting and add legitimacy, IC, to the whole RP.

Cihl, I'm thinking about it. If I get Crom'nen back, Belf'ima could become Chancellor with Crom'nen becoming Senator once more. But you have to promise me that you won't leave, but will still play Cihl as you can. Also, the new guy Ludo Karesh is a friend of mine IRL. I might be able to talk him into it, if you guys are willing to trust someone without having time to establish them. Either way, we can RP out an election as soon as Crom'nen makes it dirtside, if you want. Is Darma still up for VC?
Darrex, actually if you could let us know generally more here, then we could make a better informed decision who would be available.
