Hello members of the Republic! I have come with an idea that could brew some interesting roleplay (Sinistra, Gideon and Major are interested in this idea as well). =Original idea= With the Imperial Remnant's assimilation, there is a crowd of those who do not agree with this. Moffs, Officers and personnel that wish to secede from the Empire and form their own domains in the Deep Core just as predecessors had done before them. The roleplay will begin with riots on Aargau, secretly funded by a few disgruntled Moffs. A report of these riots will be handed to Nicademus either immediately or some time after his meeting with Sinistra. From there, the roleplay will escalate into a full blown conflict between Imperial dissenters and the forces of the Galactic Empire (a task force may be created to deal with the problem, Nicademus and his forces will be among them). The source of the conflict can go either way, a coalition of disgruntled Moffs or perhaps another idea I am formulating. The conflict will be within the Deep Core and former Remnant planets (Aargau, Aargha, Foerost, Ojom and Khomm). Well the Republic could fund and support like-minded Moffs and those of the moderate mindset. Instigate a proxy war with the Empire through these dissenters. To be a thorn in the side by supporting the dissenters to cause a long lasting internal conflict for the Empire in the recently acquired Deep Core. This could be an awesome phase of a Cold War between the Empire and the Republic. Get some involvement going on and a nice storyline as well! Everyone is welcomed! Suggestions? Questions? Thumbs up? Thumbs up! This is exactly how the actual Cold War played out, so I think it's a great idea. And Crom'nen is the perfect guy to support this. We just need IC knowledge of it.

And I have to start stirring things up in the Deep Core. My suspicions will be that the Republic will indirectly join the war probably when the Moff's become desperate.
But do not worry, we will include you guys as arranged. Its only a matter of time now!

Cihl, I'm thinking about it. If I get Crom'nen back, Belf'ima could become Chancellor with Crom'nen becoming Senator once more. But you have to promise me that you won't leave, but will still play Cihl as you can. Also, the new guy Ludo Karesh is a friend of mine IRL. I might be able to talk him into it, if you guys are willing to trust someone without having time to establish them. Either way, we can RP out an election as soon as Crom'nen makes it dirtside, if you want. Is Darma still up for VC? Meh, yeah I'm still kinda here, just ... distracted, sorry guys( and gals?). This next month will be particularly hectic with the finishing up of yet another semester. I don't mind having a new guy play the Chancellor, we can "house of cards" him in, well house of cards plus kaminoan growth acceleration. I'm terribly sorry I haven't been much better than Chil as an active member of the republic here, Hopefully I will at least be able to be more active, and interactive, over the summer. |

Mind If I join you guys in the military cometee soonish or nowish? The peace between the Vor Warhost details might take some time, but it would be nice to get Seleevans position in the prepublic defence put into stone.

If I get Crom'nen back, Belf'ima could become Chancellor I've got nothing against you writing the Chancellor (and certainly someone's got to do it) but how would Belf'ima manage to gain that position, given her limited experience? I'm not sure it makes much sense, from an IC perspective. Then again, anything is possible if we apply some political corruption  |

Is the Republic going ahead with this, without consulting the Jedi? We have, if nothing else, some evidence of the Vor Warhost using torture for unknown purposes against one of our own. And probably some other dirt, too. And is Sel word saying he's noth a Sith really enough? Shouldn't there be an investigation? I love the dynamic that Sel can bring to the Republic, I just didn't think it should be this easy. Make him deceive us IC first.  |
