At, Military aide would be in the military committee. Economic aide would be in the Senate at large.
But, a good start would be to go lobby for your proposal with individuals before the meeting at large.

Not to be rude, but there arent much to talk to. The ones who actually do post are allready engaged, and the rest are..... silent like a ghost town. The only interest I would have is with the senator of Nubia, since Nubia has large ammounts of problems concerning the riots and all that happening. I intend to propose military and economic aid for the "Nubs" to stabilise the area, where could I do that? Fair, you could, or at the least should be able to, start your own office thread and write meetings with various senators from unrepresented planets(by which I mean not represented by a PC/major NPC), until the next session starts. Which will be soonish I think, since Chilbar is stepping down from the Chancellor position currently. Umm, unfortunately due to our lack of numbers in general, most of us end having to write solo, or with non-republic personnel, for significant portions of our between sessions RP's. |

1-2 days min I think, usually about a week though is given fro responses... I don't think there is a hard and fast rule honestly.

Alrighty, so me and Darma have created some interesting premises for some RPing in the GR's name if anyone is interested. We have some need of people who would like to write for the purposes of the following roles:
Hapan representative for general support and to revitalize the military infrastructure they are famous for; and the interesting Matriarchal society.
An Emissary to the Darktide; or an agent to ascertain their true intentions of aligning with the GR.
An Emissary to the Galacitc Empire. Their growing presence in the Deep Core IC and their organization OOC begets good RPing. Two Galactic presences should not ignore each other.
And general support of Democracy and the democratic process.
Again, I would like to step down from the big chair soon. . .real soon. But I would rather get some things moving and have something worth giving over to someone with awesome passion for politics, non forcie military might and a mind for fake economics (soo if Bill O'Reilly is writing for the GR, he'd be perfect).

I wasn't going to say, but Crom'nen is sending his own personal representative to Lord Sin. Could be interesting for someone else to go and try to ferret out that fact.

It would give you and the Republic IC knowledge if your character checked the HoloNet News every now and then, not our JvS version that's gone silent as of late, as it does change the Galactic State of affairs more so than the tragic failure of the Sith Empire in days past. However, if you're wanting waste your time in following up on leads that should already be common knowledge, by all means please don't let me hold you back. I'm just trying to give some direction, if not a suggestion, that would save your fellow writers some time so that my focus upon more crucial matters - like reorganizing and garnering interest in the Republic Military and attempting to subvert the Empire without causing this Cold War to ignite.  |

You're right, as you say, if there were an HNN for me to actually check-- I'd know.
and we are already working on the military infrastructure, just trying on building the why. We are building the premise for the need of the military. But why build it with anyone around to use it, or point at anyone in particular?
I know someone is going to pop in with details of this Cold War that I don't know, but the point is-- who is following up and what can be done on our end. To be more specific-- not directly me. But how could I IC encourage more RP in the name of the GR?
and who the hell wants this seat I'm sitting in !?
