*This room is not as large as a Temple Archives, however it does what is needed. This room is more geared to the comfort of the reader, and the systematic gathering of needed information. Considering that the Jedi Base started off strictly as a military establishment, the files, databases, books, and other forms of information are detailed and set in an orderly fashion for easy access.
However, with the introduction of many more Jedi, Younglings, and students, this area has also been furnished with components that make the room comfortable for study, meditation, and gathering information about both the Force, and the planet. This room also possesses a selection of information from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, as well as a number of other uplinks to other databases throughout the Jedi Order. There are computer terminals throughout the room, as well as a series of smaller secluded rooms for more independent study.*

*Jake was doing his best to quickly finish up his studies in the archives, sitting alone at one of the computer terminals along with a few materials he had taken from the shelves. It had been a rather busy week as far as his studies went, but that wasn't going to stop him from enjoying spending time with his sister out in the jungle!
Which was why he was trying to hurry: He was supposed to be meeting her soon, and he didn't want to be late, studying or not. And he was making sure he was moving as quickly as possible, taking notes on an ancient battle of an ancient war that were still well-written, if not hastily so, while processing the information through his mind as swiftly yet proficiently as he possibly could.
Finally, he made it to the last word in the document, scribbled down his last note, then shut down his datapad, putting it away as he switched off the tournament, taking the materials and returning them to the shelves. He nearly ran to the door, but, remembering where he was, slowed down. Then returned to the terminal when he recalled he hadn't pushed the chair back in. Then he departed the archives...*

Terra had eaten a quick breakfast before scooting to the archives to begin her search. Back on Corellia, she had searched countless times for all sorts of different books and other assorted reading materials, and she quickly found what she was looking for. There was plenty here about the planet so she checked out a few materials and put them in her pack. She wanted to read them in the gardens, like she usually did on Corellia, so she departed the archives once she had everything she wanted.

*Where Jake really wanted to be right now was in the jungle, and not because he was a major fan of it like Morgan was, but rather because he and Morgan hadn't gotten to go out into the jungle together for the last couple of days, despite hopes that they would have by now. Oh, he understood why he couldn't go with Morgan and her new friend Terra last night, as Morgan had explained it to him and he was quite understanding; he would have felt much the same as Terra in that situation.
But instead, he was in the archives, doing more research, more reading. Not that he didn't enjoy reading normally, but the archives were just... boring after a while, when nothing really fun or exciting has happened to break up the monotony. He was perusing a datapad about the history of Felucia, knowing plenty but not everything, and deciding to read more about the place he now called home. Beside him was a history document about Yavin IV, his past home. Sometimes he missed the moon, but he didn't think he could ever call it home again. No, home was here now. But Yavin definitely held great memories for him, and one day he wouldn't mind visiting the place again...*

Terra entered the archives, intending to return some of the datapads that she had checked out the day before. Her lengthy trek into the jungle with Morgan had been quite informative, though she did intend to read a little bit before putting it back. She wondered if there was anything else in here to read, figuring that she might just spend the day inside today. The past two days had been full of new things and it was a lengthy walk to and from that lake, so she figured she would spend today relaxing and getting her energy back.
Upon entering the archives, she noticed someone else in here and eventually came across Morgan's brother Jake, whom she had actually met the day before. She smiled and walked over, remembering that he had been a little flustered around her when they had met the day before. Hopefully she could get him to feel more at ease today."Hello Jake. How's it going?"

*Jake looked up when someone greeted him, and when he saw that it was Terra, he put the datapad and turned in his seat toward her, smiling.* Hello, Terra! *He leaned to the side, peering past Terra and glancing around the archives, mostly expecting her to be accompanied by Morgan. When it was clear that Terra was alone, he frowned curiously, then shrugged. Just before realizing he'd forgotten to answer Terra's question and he looked back up at her sheepishly.* Er, sorry! I, uh, it's going fine! Just reading, really. Uh, what's going on with you? *Well that was a stupid question; what else did people do in the archives? He managed to keep his smile intact, though it was stretched just enough to resemble a grimace. Maybe he was wrong and she had something else to do though! ... like what? Never mind, Jake, just roll with it...*

Terra smiled and shrugged."Just returning a book. I might do some reading myself though."Still smiling, she set down her bag and took out the datapads she had been reading the day before and set them on one of the tables. She then turned to Jake"So what are you reading, Jake?"

*Oh, just returning materials, that's why she— Of course that's why she came here! Jake resisted the urge to bang his head on the desk in front of him, holding his ground and just smiling and nodding. Why he expected anything different was beyond him...
Terra went on to say that she might do some more reading herself—also to be expected—before setting out some materials on the table, then asked Jake what he was reading. Light conversation, maybe that'd get his mind off his blunder.* Oh, nothing really, just stuff about the history of Felucia. What were you reading?

Terra grinned and held up one of the datapads that she had checked out the previous day."I was reading the same thing yesterday."Well that was a nice coincidence, though she hadn't actually finished reading all about Felucia's history just yet. She had cut short her reading time the day before to go hiking in the jungle with Morgan. But Jake probably already knew that.

*Woah, that was a coincidence. Jake's eyes even widened a little when Terra revealed this. That was a pretty interesting coincidence, but... he wasn't sure what to say to that. If anything. What was there to say about that? He glanced around the room briefly, then smiled goofily.* That's cool!

Terra giggled and leaned against the wall."Very cool."There wasn't much else she could say about it, and come to think of it, she couldn't really find much else to talk about. Still, she felt she had to find something, and she really did want to get to know Jake a little better, having already spent so much time with his sister. Morgan hadn't told her too much about Jake, so it wasn't like the boy would be telling her things she already knew. The conversation had to start somewhere though. Maybe she could start with the books he he was reading, as it seemed to be something they were both interested in at the very least.
She smiled."How far are you in that book?"

*Jake only smiled at Terra's reply, but then said nothing else. So... now what? He wasn't sure what else to say, so his eyes wandered for a moment. Then Terra asked how far Jake was in his history text and his eyes traveled back to her and he shook his head.* Oh, all over! I already took a lot of history, so there's a lot I know already, I'm just reading more to remember other things and learn new things. *And that was it. Archive conversations were rarely interesting, because there wasn't much to talk about when it came to the materials here, other than perhaps the materials people were reading. Rarely did anyone come here to read fiction; no, the majority of the archives' material was history and philosophy and other such texts. Maybe if there were more storybooks here, conversation would be more interesting...*

Terra smiled and nodded."That's good. I still have a little ways to go with my reading."She started to think about going to the gardens to read, having always preferred to read outside anyway. Besides, the archives weren't the best place for a conversation, especially if some other students were trying to study. That wasn't the case now, but maybe it was best to be polite anyway. She picked up her datapad."I was going to read in the gardens for awhile. Do you want to come with?"It occurred to her that maybe he had other things to do, but if that was the case, maybe they could talk again later. Hopefully he could come with though, as she did want to get to know him a little better.

*Terra admitted that she still had a "little ways to go" with her reading. Jake was now curious as to whether she was reading up on Felucia's history due to curricular reasons, or by her own choice. He was going to ask, but Terra suddenly invited him to come read in the gardens with her. His eyes widened a little, surprised she had extended this invitation when they barely knew each other, but who was he to decline?* S-sure! I'd love to! *He stood and gathered up his things, putting all but the datapad he was reading into his bag and slung that, then picking up the other datapad in his hand so that he didn't lose his place as he smiled up at Terra.*

Jud had transversed the corridors swiftly and concisely. He'd studied the base's schematics the entire trip through hyperspace, and the archive's vaulted entrance was within eyesight.
"soon.." The camouflaged Sith hissed though a devious grin.

-Hesper continued to follow after the shadow. She lingered a distance away from him, and watched the shadows creep through the corridor. She didn't know who or what it was, but she knew that whatever it was didn't belong there. Her hand fell to where her lightsaber should have been, ready to fight whatever it was when she suddenly remembered that it had been destroyed earlier that day.-
'Wonderful,' she thought to herself.
-Every once in a while, the shadow would stop. Hesper stopped and watched. It was moving towards somewhere with purpose. Hesper was baffled. This was an outpost temple with barely any Jedi. She doubted that it had any sort of comprehensive library or any treasures to pilfer. What was this person after?-

The little Kushiban, Tantin, rounded a corner, his nostrils flaring as he sniffed the air, searching for the woman who had rescued him and brought him here, Hesper. He had seen her disappear before his eyes, and her scent had given away she had left. It was his duty to find her, in his mind at least. He stopped for a moment. He smelled another person. Close but still farther away than Hesper. Maybe she was following someone? It did not really matter to him. It made him more curious. It did not even cross his mind that anything bad could happen in the Temple. He had always believed they were among the safest placest in the Galaxy.
Tantin's paws made small impacts on the floor that echoed in the empty halls, and he eventually came to the Archives, closing in on Hesper, and the unknown person's, scent. Maybe if he tried calling out?
"Master Calix? Are you in here?"

Panno walked into the room before Celia Oshala his bulky armour just fitting through the frame. And so the man said thats no bantha thats my wife! Laughing at his own joke he smiled at one of the fond memories he had of the empire. Of course it wasnt really his, just something he over heard from one of his fellow knights but she didnt need to know this. Motioning for her to lead the way he raised his scaly eyebrow at her. SO tell me, how did you learn that the old Sith had a base here?

-Hesper stopped in her tracks when she heard footfalls nearby. She turned and looked behind her to see the Kushiban following her. The aura of the Darksider permeated through the shadows-he was here for something, but what?-
-Hesper slowed her pace and began to step backwards towards Tantin. She didn't want a full out brawl with him caught in the middle. A battle between the two was the last thing she wanted the little Kushiban to see after the day's events.-
-He would feel her presence move closer to him. Her scent would also grow stronger. She stopped when she was directly over him and ATTEMPTED to pick him up. If successful, he'd feel her hands wrap around his body, then he'd watch his paws disappear from sight as he slipped into stealth with her.-
"This place is too dangerous for us, Little One. Come, let's move to some place more safe."
-Her voice was calm and reassuring. She didn't want to alarm Tantin as she began to move him to a safer part of the Temple.-

SO tell me, how did you learn that the old Sith had a base here? "Well," I say, casting a look across the rows of shelves that stretch before us, "it's a bit of a long story, but the short version is that I came across an old, broken memory stick that used to belong to Plagueis. I had a hell of a time finding someone who could decrypt it, but eventually I did, and that led me here." I catch sight of the records section and lead the way toward it. "Let's see what we can find regarding the early days of the Jedi presence here. Even if they didn't know Plagueis had an outpost nearby, I have to assume somebody would have noticed something out of the ordinary." Unlike the all-digital archives in most temples, this one actually includes a fair amount of physical books. Eager to begin our search, I hope our answer isn't in one of those. "So," I continue as I examine the first row of data storage devices, "how about you? You never said how you ended up on Felucia."
