*Ah, just a little history, nothing about flora and fauna. Jake knew a little about those, thanks to his many excursions with his sister, though Morgan undoubtedly knew much more than he did, having gone even deeper into the jungle and been there many more times than he had. Terra did mention that she was probably going to read about them herself, something Jake nodded to.* Yeah, it's a good idea to know what kind of animals are out there and how big they get and what to do if you see one. Morgan knows a lot of that stuff, but I didn't, so I read up about them so I knew more about them. Not as much as Morgan though; she knows a lot! *Huh, now that they were on an interesting subject Jake cared about, he could talk about it without much issue. That was good. They should stay on these topics more often, then, he could learn from these...*

Terra smiled, noticing that Jake had seemed to forget his shyness and was easily conversing with her now. She was glad, both for him being able to talk so easily with her after being so flustered at their first meeting but also that they had steered the topic of conversation away from their respective pasts. She nodded in agreement."She really does know a lot. But then, she's connected to the planet somehow. She told me a little about it yesterday."She wasn't sure how much Jake knew, though he probably knew a litlte more than she did by virtue of being her brother, but she didn't know for sure.

*Terra didn't even know the half of how much Morgan knew about the planet— Oh wait, she did; apparently Morgan had told her about her connection already. Well, that made sense; one does not simply go into the jungle with Morgan without her revealing her connection to the planet. Jake smiled regardless and nodded.* Oh yeah, it's really awesome! I kinda wish I had that power, but I guess it's okay if I don't. Actually, Morgan is strong in the Force too, and they say I am too, but I think Morgan's stronger... I don't know how though. Actually, she's done a whole lot of amazing things, and I haven't really. It's weird. *Jake didn't seem upset or disappointed by this fact, merely curious and intrigued by it. He didn't mind at all that Morgan had all these wonderful facets; he was just happy he'd been reunited with his sister, and they loved each other dearly. That was all that mattered to him.*

Terra noticed that as Jake spoke, he didn't seem at all envious of Morgan's...unique abilities and strength in the Force, though she could tell that Ashla's presence was also quite strong with him. Maybe it was because he was so young and had only just recently been reunited, but she did sense a strong bond between the two siblings. Still, she could understand if Jake felt a little overshadowed by Morgan, even if it didn't seem to actually be bothering him.
She smiled."Well I think you'll be a great Jedi Knight yourself someday. If that means anything."Terra hardly considered herself good evaluator of talent and someone's future career, but she wanted to encourage Jake a little if she could.

*Jake smiled, and even blushed a little when Terra expressed confidence that he'd be a great Jedi Knight someday. He wasn't sure how she would think that, especially since she barely knew him. But it was still a nice thought. He wasn't sure what to say in response, so it was time he improvised.* Thanks, er, I think you'll be a great Jedi Knight too. *He blushed again and looked away, trying to think of a new direction to steer the conversation in. The question he came up with was rather generic, but it was one he decided he did care about as well.* So... how long are you going to be staying here?

Terra smiled, remembering that her Trials were upcoming and that she might be a Jedi Knight the next time she came to Felucia. She wasn't sure she was prepared, but she would worry about that when she got back to Corellia. As for how long she was staying, it was supposed to be a two week visit if she recalled correctly, but that could be cut short or extended at any time.
She shrugged."It's a two week visit...if I remember right."

*Two weeks? Terra had only been here two days, which wasn't much time. Jake smiled, seeming a little excited as he sat up a little more.* That's plenty of time! We can teach you more about Felucia, and even go into the jungle again and run around! ... er, unless you don't want to, that is... because— never mind. *Jake blushed and looked away; maybe he shouldn't have talked about that or mentioned it. Maybe Terra didn't want him to know, and he would have just given Morgan away. Unless she didn't suspect anything... which he hoped she didn't. Still, going into the jungle would be fun. And they could do it without nudity. Well, Morgan couldn't, but Jake could, and Terra probably could too, most likely, so that would still be fun.*

Terra hadn't been sure if Jake knew about her...nudity in the jungle, but the way he talked about it indicated that he might know about it after all, and she felt herself blushing a little. She really hoped that they hadn't told anyone else about it...
Still, she wouldn't mind Jake tagging along the next time she went with Morgan, but she would have to keep her clothes on if that happened."Well...I wouldn't mind if you went with us sometime. If you want."

*Jake perked up a little when Terra said she wouldn't mind if Jake went with them sometime in the jungle. He was happy to hear that, though briefly contemplated assuring her that no removal of clothing would be required from either of them, then thought better of it and only nodded, though blushed a little.* Thanks! I can't wait! *He looked away, now lost for a subject. Maybe Terra had one. Anything to get off this one; while it was nice to be invited to go to the jungle and Jake would take her up on that offer, the thoughts linked to it were ones he'd rather get out of his mind right now; they could deal with those later, when they actually went to the jungle.*

Terra smiled and nodded."I'm looking forward to it."When he looked away, she sighed softly and leaned against the back of the bench they were sitting on, a little lost on what to talk about next. Conversation was never a strong suit for her, and it didn't seem to be Jake's either. That was all right, but it might get awkward if they just sat around saying nothing for an extended period of time.
She looked around the gardens for a moment, but couldn't really find anything else to talk about right away. Maybe in time something would come to her...

*Jake smiled and looked back to Terra when she said she was looking forward to it, but now there was silence, as it seemed neither of them knew what to say. It went on for a moment, then Jake suddenly recalled the datapad in his hand.* Oh. *He raised it, gesturing with it briefly, and grinned goofily.* Forgot I was supposed to read this. *He lowered it, found the place he had left off, and continued reading. He was still listening to Terra... or would be, if she had anything else to say. HE was just trying to pass the time. Maybe they could start on a new topic about the history of Felucia again, possibly. Or something else. It didn't matter to Jake.*

Terra giggled, having forgotten yet again that they had actually come out here to read, but ended up getting sidetracked by conversation once more. She moved to pick up her own datapad and skimmed through it, trying to find the place where she had left off yesterday. It occurred to her that reading for a bit might help them find something else to talk about as well."That's OK. I should probably finish reading this, too.

*Jake smiled up at Terra when she revealed her own datapad and said she needed to finish reading too. So, well, they read. The peace and quiet of the gardens actually lent well to peaceful reading and clear focus upon the material. Jake found himself very absorbed in the reading to the point he'd forgotten where he was and who he was with. It wasn't until he had to suddenly stop and have a sneeze that he remembered he was with Terra. He looked at her curiously for a moment, then frowned.* Terra, you're not bored are you? *Wait, she had been reading, and he probably just interrupted! That wasn't good!* Er, sorry if I interrupted! I didn't mean to, but, well, I just, I just wondered if you were bored of, well, not talking. I mean, I'm not! But, well, if you are, then we could, well, find something else to talk about I guess. *Rambling, stumbling over his words, he was back to his old habits. He blushed furiously and looked down at his knees. Argh, he'd been doing... sorta well up until now, and then he regressed. Baby steps... he was doing alright until now, it was a start. He just needed to harness it... and stop talking at inappropriate times.*

Terra looked up from her datapad when she heard Jake sneeze, and she smiled and shook her head when he asked if she was bored. Truth be told, she had been somewhat absorbed in her reading up until now, but she didn't get much of a chance to reply to his question before he started talking again. It seemed he was back to rambling again, and getting embarrassed as he looked to the floor, but up until now, they had managed to have a fairly steady conversation. She waited until he stopped and smiled reassuringly at him."It's all right, Jake. I'm not bored and I don't mind being interrupted if you had something to ask."

*Terra reassured him with a smile that it was alright and that she didn't mind if he interrupted her if he had something to ask. Jake smiled, feeling a little reassured and glad Terra was understanding, but there was just one little problem and he frowned again.* I don't though... so... I'll leave you alone so we can read, I guess. *He stifled a sigh and returned his focus to his reading. Had he been in the company of someone with less patience, well, this probably wouldn't have been going as well as it had. He was grateful Terra was understanding, and she did seem quite nice, and pretty— There he went making thoughts like that again! He blushed and hunched his shoulders as though trying to hide, raising his knees as though attempting to curl up into a protective shell as he tried to focus on the words on the datapad. He could get through this... somehow. Just be calm...*

Terra shrugged."OK. Let me know if you get bored though and we can find something else to do."She looked back down at her datapad again, not noticing that he was blushing again. Silence fell as the two continued their reading, Terra unable to find much else to converse about. She was also getting to the end of the chapter she was on, and didn't really feel like reading after that. She would need to find something else to do soon.

*Jake relaxed a little and smiled up at Terra, then went back to reading. There wasn't a whole lot of reading; his body slowly uncurled as he continued, then reached a point in his reading he was already familiar with. He considered skimming over it and moving on to more unknown information, but now he was kind of tired of reading. He sighed and deactivated the datapad, putting it back in his bag, then sat up straight, exhaling slowly through pursed lips. This gave way to idle noises of boredom, which he didn't actually notice as he kicked his legs, waiting on an idea to come to him about something to do. And it wasn't easy.*

Terra finished the chapter, and probably not a moment too soon, as it appeared that Jake was getting legitimately bored this time. She stowed the datapad in her bag and stood up to stretch, yawning. With the reading and the talk with Jake she had actually lost track of time, and her stomach growled, signaling that it was time for her to eat something. Maybe she could think of something to do or some way to help out over a good lunch. She smiled at Jake and slung her bag over her shoulder."I'm going to go eat now. Do you want to come with?"Inviting Jake gave her more of an opportunity to try and talk with him some more and maybe they'd run into Morgan as well, which might put him a little more at ease. Of course, she would understand if he didn't want to, or had somewhere else to be.

*Jake looked up when Terra stood up to stretch with a yawn. Was it time to do something else now? Jake waited eagerly before she spoke, inviting him to come get something to eat with her. Oh, was it that time? Jake was a little hungry. He smiled, hopping off the bench and reaching down to sling the bag up over his shoulder.* Sure! I'm kinda hungry too.

"Let's go."Terra nodded and started walking out of the gardens. Honestly, she hadn't expected Jake to say yes so readily, but in her experience, hunger sometimes overrode shyness. Well some of the time at least...
