*All was silent in the gardens... ... then Kayla ran in, giggling as she stopped at the entrance, looked all around, then ran this way and that, laughing with glee as she ran her fingers through leaves, sniffed at flowers, then simply just ran around in circles with her arms spread like the wings of a starfighter, absolutely full of joy and enthusiasm.
Then it occurred to her that she was supposed to be here with someone, and she stopped and folded her arms, pouting at the entrance.
Why were they taking so long?! They were supposed to go play in the gardens together, and she was here first and they weren't yet! She started to tap her foot impatiently, then sigh in exasperation and fall back on the ground, sprawled out, staring up at the sky. Laying on the ground was boring! She sat up, hugged her knees, and started rocking back and forth. That was boring too! Ugh, didn't they realize that she was getting so bored?! Oh wait, they were here! She sprang up to her feet and ran up to meet them with a pout.* You guys took forever! I was all alone and bored! *Cassie, having expected this reaction, only sighed softly and knelt down, putting a hand on her dramatic daughter's shoulder.* Kayla, sweetie, you weren't alone that long. You should walk a little bit slower next time so you can get there at the same time as everyone else, ya know? *Kayla, in response, shrugged off her mother's hand and frowned.* Walking's too slow! Running's better! *Cassie seemed to have a blank response but Kayla had already moved past her to look up at her new friend Terra with excited expectancy.* So what do you wanna play now that we're here?! *Morgan, meanwhile, suppressed more laughter. This was going to be both amusing and painful to watch; Kayla running Terra wild, that was. Or maybe Terra could keep up. Kayla ran her mother and other kids ragged, at least; Morgan had never seen her try it on other adults. Well, their father could keep up quite easily, but then, he never played that hard with Kayla. Either way, it was time to see how Terra handled Morgan's hyper little sister...*

Terra entered the gardens, well behind Kayla, and she was starting to wonder what she had gotten herself into. Kayla had a ton of energy, even more so than Morgan and Jake, who were no slouches in that department, but she could keep up with them no problem. Kayla on the other hand, was something else entirely, and she had caught the looks of...concern from both Cassie and Morgan when she had agreed to be Kayla's friend. Well, she had certainly survived worse than this...
She smiled and shrugged, dropping her bag on the ground beside one of the benches."How about....tag?"

*Tag?! They had to wonder if Terra had a death wish, but Kayla, no surprise, had reacted much quicker than either of them.* Okay! Tag! You're it! *Kayla tapped Terra on the leg then dashed off. Morgan, reacting quickly lest Terra think she was a targeted, darted off in the other direction to put some distance between them. Cassie, not wanting to wear herself out, calmly walked over to a nearby bench and sat down. With any luck, maybe they would wear Kayla out a little... but that was just about an impossible task, so she knew better than to hope for something like that.*

Terra took off after Kayla, marveling at how fast the girl could move despite being so small, though she was still a little taller than Morgan. But even Morgan didn't run like this, and Kayla was going full speed ahead. Terra was actually having to put a considerable effort into her running in order to keep up and she eventually caught up to the girl and managed to tap Kayla's shoulder."Got you!"

*Kayla was actually surprised that she'd been caught so soon, letting out a squeak when Terra had caught up to her. Quickly she looked around for escape routes, almost immediately noticing one as she turned to chase Terra again. Once Kayla finally caught up to Terra and managed to be able to tap her and declare her it, she darted away to a nearby bench, running up onto the seat's back and leaping from it to a low-hanging tree branch, where she pulled herself and started climbing higher in the tree. She dared Terra try to chase her up here!*

Terra was caught relatively soon after, though she wasn't quite running at full speed, both to conserve energy and to not make it an unfair contest for Kayla, who wasn't big enough to be able to run too fast yet. Still, what Kayla might have lacked in size, she was making up for in relentless energy. As soon as she was tagged again, Kayla was taking off for one of the benches and leaping up to climb one of the trees, leaving Terra wondering if she should chase the girl all the way up there.
She turned to see if Cassie or Morgan was following, wondering what they would say, before turning back up to look up into the tree towards Kayla."Hey...maybe we should...um...play on the ground..."She wasn't sure if Kayla heard her, or not.

*Kayla was almost at the top of the tree when she heard Terra call out, suggesting that they play on the ground instead. Kayla frowned, chancing a look behind her to confirm that Terra hadn't even started chasing her yet. She then pouted, furrowing her brow as she called back.* But that's no fun! *Cassie, figuring she was needed to intervene, sighed and approached, calling out to her daughter.* She's right, Kayla, come down from the tree, please. *Kayla made a disappointed sound and made her way down from the tree, hopping from the lowest branch to the ground, landing in a crouch. Then, without hesitation, she took off running again in another direction. Morgan, meanwhile, had stayed hidden, though peeked out when Terra and Kayla had their exchange. When Kayla took off, though, Morgan took off as well. She wasn't about to let herself become an easy target...*

Terra was relieved when Kayla came down from the tree, but she didn't have much time to dwell on it, as the little girl quickly took off. Terra gave chase right away, going a little faster this time in an attempt to catch the girl quickly. She noticed Morgan's presence nearby, but kept her focus on Kayla for the time being. Unless Morgan was an easy target, Terra was going to leave her alone for the moment...
She quickly caught up to Kayla and tagged the girl on the shoulder."I got you!"

*Again?! Ugh. Kayla was starting to get exasperated about somehow getting tagged this much, meanwhile Morgan hadn't gotten tagged at all. That wasn't fair! Tired of her big sister winning, Kayla ignored Terra and went to go seek Morgan out. Morgan was keeping an eye on both of them, both with her eyes and with the Force. She found it strange that she hadn't yet been a target, but suddenly Kayla seemed to be veering after her, with a hint of frustration. Morgan gasped and took off running, knowing Kayla's energy was boundless.
But on Felucia, so was Morgan's.
Kayla managed to reach the area Morgan was in, so Morgan kicked up the pace notch. The chase was on, and Morgan was going to make sure she kept ahead of her younger sister. Then, she decided to steal the girl's strategy from earlier: Climb a tree. She bounded forward, landed in a crouch, then sprang up to a tree branch, grabbing onto it and swinging herself up. Kayla briefly recalled her mother's request to stay out of the trees, then promptly ignored it as she also sprang up into the tree. What Kayla didn't realize, however, was that Morgan was an even more competent tree climber, and was several steps ahead of Kayla as they wove through the branches, Kayla in pursuit, Morgan on the run.
Kayla was getting more frustrated, judging by her grunts and groaning. Morgan grinned to herself, then finally hopped down from the tree, rolled, and was immediately dove upon by Kayla.* Eep! *That... kind of hurt. Not too badly, but still. Had Kayla just jumped straight out of the tree after her?! Ow... She got to her feet and sat up, rubbing her neck as Kayla declared she was it and ran off. After a moment, Morgan was fine and back on her feet, back in the game. She then made her target Terra, pressing after her with slightly less energy than before due to that little experience, then finally managed to tap her, declare her "it," then flee.*

Terra slowly followed Kayla as she went after Morgan, who had been keeping a low profile since the game had started. She noted with some dismay that they had both climbed up into the tree, ignoring Cassie's request to stay out, and she was about to say something when Morgan was caught in a flying tackle from Kayla. Well that was certainly one way to tag someone, though not the way Terra had been expecting. Of course, Morgan was back on her feet in no time and was chasing after Terra, who giggled and started running. It wasn't long before Morgan caught up and tagged her, leaving her to decide whether to try chasing Kayla again, or go back after Morgan.
She started after Morgan, but when she saw Kayla crossing the gardens out of the corner of her eye, she switched targets and chased after the younger girl instead.

*Kayla was not about to be so easily caught this time, and so she picked up her pace, trying to use any obstacles she could to make her escape, whether it was leaping over shrubbery or across one of the many small streams that ran through the garden. She was determined not to get caught. Cassie, meanwhile, was a bit disappointed about the kids climbing in the trees and would have to have a word with them later, but she was mostly just impressed that Terra was keeping up with them this well so far. Well, with Kayla anyway. Kayla and Morgan, who was only a handful when she wanted to be.*

Terra noticed that Kayla was putting more effort into her running and she did the same in an attempt to keep up. She wondered how someone so young could run so fast without the aid of the Force, the same thing she had been wondering the day before when she had wondered about Jake and Morgan. Well at least before the rancors interrupted, but that wouldn't happen here.
She lunged forwards and managed to tag Kayla.

*And so the chase continued for quite a while, and as usual Kayla showed no signs of tiring out, though Morgan's breaths were getting heavier. Cassie had to check the time, having somewhere she and Kayla had to be, then when she realized how close they would be cutting it, she quickly stood and called out to her daughter.* Kayla! We have to go now, sweetie! *Kayla let out a sustained "aww" in disappointment, running up to her mother's side with just as much energy as when they'd started. Then she turned around to face Terra.* It was good playing with you! *She then, without warning, leapt up at Terra's torso, latching onto her for a hug. Cassie made a sound and nearly moved to pry Kayla off of Terra, then just remained where she stood, giving Terra an apologetic look and hoping Kayla wasn't too troublesome. And if it was, well, at least this was the last of it for now, right?*

Terra was glad when Cassie called Kayla off, as she was finally starting to regret starting a game of tag with someone who had limitless energy. She was starting to get tired out from all this running. Maybe they should have Kayla administer her Trial of the Flesh. Any more of this and she would surely collapse after awhile...
She nearly fell backwards when Kayla latched onto her, as she was a bit larger than Morgan and thus had more weight to put into a tackle, but she managed to keep her balance. She sighed softly and hugged the girl back, then started to nudge her away."It was nice to meet you, Kayla. You'd...er...better get going."

*Kayla didn't actually need the hint to release Terra, as she'd fully planned on releasing her as soon as they'd exchanged a hug. Which she did, lowering herself to the ground and going to stand beside her mother, taking her hand. She stood there smiling at Terra, though at a nudge from her mother, she made an "o" shape with her mouth before bowing to Terra.* Nice meeting you too, and thank you for playing with me. *Cassie smiled and offered her own bow before straightening.* Yes, thanks a lot. She seems to have enjoyed herself. I'm really quite impressed and thankful that you were able to keep up with her for so long. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay here. *She then turned with Kayla and left, Kayla waving over her shoulder before turning forward and breaking away from her mother, running out the exit, causing Cassie to call after her to slow down before picking up the pace again. Some things in the galaxy were guaranteed.
Morgan, breathing heavily herself, walked up beside Terra, managed to catch her breath, then looked up at Terra with a curious smile.* So... what did you think of Kayla?

Terra smiled back at both Kayla and Cassie."Oh don't worry, I had fun. It was nice playing with you, Kayla."She waved goodbye as they left, and she took a moment to catch her breath, smiling down at Morgan."She's got...lots of energy all right...whew..."

*Morgan giggled as Terra stated the obvious, but then, that was the appropriate reaction to when one met Kayla. The girl just could not be calmed down and was always active; it was a wonder she actually slept. But now they were alone in the gardens, partially out of breath, so... now what?* Um... What are you doing after this? *Morgan herself didn't particularly have any commitments but she didn't want to intrude if Terra had other plans. She probably could've spent her time training some more, to be perfectly honest...*

Terra thought for a moment, not really needing to think much about what Morgan probably had in mind, but both of them were winded from the game of tag with Kayla and Terra still had one or two things to do. Sadly, they probably wouldn't have time for a trip into the jungle today, or at least not an extended one. Well maybe there might be time, she would have to see how quickly she could get her errands taken care of. She shrugged."Um...I need to take care of one or two things...but then I'm free."

*Morgan waited patiently as Terra thought about it then shrugged, stating that she had a couple of things to take care of before she was free. Morgan grinned, glad they would get to hang out a little later, even if there probably wasn't time to go to the jungle, and she would understand if Terra was actually getting tired of it. Though they still had to plan out an overnight trip sometime and go back to the village...* Okay! I'll find you later then. Bye Terra! *She then hugged Terra around the legs before departing the gardens herself. Now she just needed to find something to do to pass the time, though that should be rather simple. She didn't know what else she and Terra would get to do that day, but it would become clear soon.*

It had been a few hours since the meal with Master Calmacil and Panno had spent the time since then exploring the gardens of the temple. He had been drawn to the like a moth to the flame. He had stopped at each new plant smelling every fragrance. When he found a new seed he would take the time to stop and hold it in his hand and poured the force into it. It was tiring but eventually each seed would grow into a plant. Sometimes new sometimes not. Those Jedi that had seen him looked away disapprovingly. They saw it as a waste of potential, warping and accelerating the plants growth. The looks didn't escape Panno who wondered but didn't ask why they did not enjoy it. Instead he bounded on to the next vmgreat thing.
Eventually though he did tire, and he stopped by the outer perimeter of the garden. Seeing a smaller version of the towering mushrooms the Knight straddled the mushroom and once again started to pour the force into the plant. The size he wanted though required much more focus and he let the force flow. Not through him but rather through his words.
This is my garden, I'll plant it with care,
Though his voice was gravelly and hoarse the force flowed through it. Shaping the little mushroom, strengthening it, twisting it making it stronger. More than that though it began to grow, faster than anything natural should. Every second it grew by a few feet. It's top growing ever wider. The ground around the base shooting out as it forced itself against the Felucian soil. The heads of multiple Jedi turned to look at him. Some broken from their meditation, others who were just walking. Wondering what was happening with the flare in the force.
Here are the seeds I'll plant in there,
Now Panno began to be lifted off the ground, just a few centimeters at first. He could feel the mushroom begin to wilt and falter under his weight so he redoubled his efforts. A bead of sweat trickling down his back at the effort he smiled. It once again began to bring him higher. Slowly so that it would grow strong and he would not break it.
The sun will shine,
Being an Imperial Knight he had some serious mental training. Still speaking the words and having the force flow through him he wondered why he was here. Sure he had followed the force to the planet. This however did not answer his question, in fact it made more. Was it just a fluke? Perhaps he had subconsciously just wanted to come here. No. There was a reason for his being here, and it would soon be revealed of this he was sure.
The rain will fall, The seeds will sprout and grow up tall.
Finishing the final two verses Panno found himself on a massive mushroom nearly 30 feet tall. Wide enough he could stretch out and relax comfortably he did so. Basking in the warm glow of the planets sun, he smiled truly at peace. Closing his eyes he listened to the calls of the local birds in the distance before falling asleep.
