Rawkill considered it for a moment. He didn't particularly know every Jedi Padawan's skill set off hand. Kent was no different in that regard, especially since he had not trained with her much. His gaze drifting off to the forest What ever you are most proficient with, be it Lightsaber or blaster pistol. As long as you feel comfortable with it enough to use it... Felucia was not exactly the safest place to be. Its jungles were filled with many species of dangerous creatures. Each more vicious than the last and ready to kill to get their meal

Kent nods to the small master. She thinks what she should take. The blaster she arrived on the planet with was held for her in the armory, but a small holdout may not be the best choice for a primary weapon here. It likely lacked the stopping power to put down what she would face. She had been practicing with the training sabers, none of them felt right in her hand, but they did remind her of her lightfoil, when it worked. She made her way to the armory. Master Rawkill has requested my assistance outside the base. He asked that I arm myself. I would like my holdout blaster and a training saber. She pauses and thinks more. And a westar-34. Her request checked out and she gathered the supplies and attached them around her waist and the holdout to her boot. She then returns to the ewok. I think I am ready, master.

*In these dark times, there was always light. This was no better signified than the scene set before Tookli Yandar, Chadra-Fan Jedi Master and High Councilor of the Jedi Order. Though night enveloped the gardens, light from the stars and Felucia's moon dotted the skies above; within the gardens themselves, torches were lit, casting a glow amidst those gathered in the center of the gardens.
The Chadra-Fan stood on a dais at the forefront of a handful of other Councilors, while Jedi guardsmen encircled the gathering, lightsabers of varying hue ignited and held before them, blades pointed towards the sky.*
"Today," *Master Yandar squeaked out,* "we recognize the achievements of one of our own Order. One who has shown great devotion to Ashla's guidance and the cause of peace and justice. One who has passed his trials and proven his worth. One ready to take the next step in the path of the Jedi." *He raised his small hand, gesturing to the figure standing in the center of the scene.* "Qas Stryker, please step forward."

Qas stood in the twilight dusk of the courtyard around him stood gathered twenty or so Jedi. Even in the dusk and shrouded mysteriously in their robes Qas could still make out some of the familiar forms of several Masters and Knights whom he knew well. He couldn't believe he was here in this moment, he could feel his heart attempting to burst free from his chest, his fingers trembled. He barely heard his name spoken. Yet somehow he managed to find the right muscles to move his trembling legs forward.
Had he really made it this far, to this point, when he thought back to the first time he had stepped into this hallowed temple, no more than a child. He was scared, unsure branded as a freak. This place had been his life. It had given him confidence. It had seen him fail and rise again. It had pushed him far beyond anything he could have ever imagined. The guidance of a certain Master not far from Qas and now, now he would be formally leaving that guidance, not because he was ready, but more so because he wasn't. Jedi Knight was the finding of ones own path, the journey continued and there were would be far many more trials ahead. The question was, was Qas ready to take on a mantle of greater responsibility, did he trust in himself enough.
Qas stepped forward and fixed his eyes on Master Yandar.
"Yes, Master."
Qas spoke, not exactly a question but his tone was quizzical. He was ready to do whatever the Jedi Master bid him.

*Master Yandar could sense young Stryker's state of mind and only smiled, knowing that, as intimidating it was to be Knighted, he would soon find his way once all was said and done. When the young Jedi stood and kneeled before him, the Chadra-Fan ignited his own blade and held it aloft.* "Jedi Qas Stryker, in the name of the High Council of the Order and Ashla..." *He lowered the blade over each of the human Jedi's shoulders before holding the blade before him in a similar manner to the surrounding guards.* "I hereby dub you Qas Stryker, Jedi Knight."
*The announced coincided with a sudden flash in the sky and an ensuing crack of thunder. The Chadra-Fan looked up, seeing the sudden formation of dark, unnatural clouds in the sky. A mere moment later, the call from the Grand Master himself. Immediately the Master switched off his blade and squeaek out instructions.* "Secure the Gardens! You there, return to your posts!" *Looking to Qas, he said,* "There's no better time than now to prove your worth as a Jedi Knight."

More often than not these days, Cao found himself seeking the peace of the Gardens. The natural tranquility of the setting meshed nicely with the background noise and presence of others searching for a similar solace. So it was that Cao sat here, watching the nearby ceremony with a small smile on his face, appreciating the importance of the moment in this other man's life. It gave him a moment of pause and several of reflection, and the smile turned into a lopsided grin as a memory drifted across his min-..
And then the grin froze on his face as he sensed something stirring. A look upward wiped the expression entirely away. Dark, unnatural storm clouds were gathering in the sky; and though Cao couldn't determine their exact origin, he had a feeling it would be making itself known very soon.
Apparently, the Master in charge of the Knighting ceremony nearby had the same sort of idea. Cao quickly abandoned his meditating posture, pushing himself to his feet. There was no better time to prove oneself as a Jedi Knight, he'd said to the Jedi who'd just received the title. Well, perhaps that held for him as well in the coming day..

Búrarum.
It sounded like almost wind blowing through the branches of an old birch tree in the corner of the gardens, but it was truly the first sounds of Frond Saa waking up. He too had sensed the darkness enveloping the planet. Seeing as he had been in a deep trance since the Clone Wars, he had become almost one with Falucia and its delicate dance with the Darkside. The deep meditation he had entered was about to end it seemed.

Qas felt the blade of the chadra fan master pass close to his shoulders. He felt a stirring in the force, the calm before the storm. A growing turbulence. The sudden whip crack rendering the peaceful tranquility of those gathered in the gardens apart. The thunder rumbled, the turbulent storm threatened more than just it's natural potency.
Was head snapped skyward, then his focus shifted to the Chadra fan, acknowledging his words with a curt decisive nod. There was no time to be jubilant, by the time Qas had risen the majority of the assembled gathering had split each attending to a designated post. It seemed judging by the commotion the Jedi were taking no precautions. Qas rose steadily, silently, he closed eyes and mind to what unfolded around him and stepped into the ever flowing stream that was the force. He stretched out with his senses and the palpable wave of darkness nearly rocked him off his feet.
His eyes flew open, his right hand calling his faithful saber hilt to hand and in a few purposeful strides he had made his way across the garden. He took a last fleeting glance at the storm as lightning spidered across the sky, then stepped into the main body of the temple.

Rawkill had not required much time to prepare, since he was already carrying his lightsabers with him. He only had to get out his Comm link and let one of the dispatchers know that he and Kent would be going on a mission. In this situation, it was more so a safety precaution than anything else. He placed his comm link back on his belt as Kent returned with some gear to use on the tripExcellent, our ride should be here shortly...Almost on cue, an air speeder touched down in the gardens not far from where the pair of Jedi had been gathered. The driver got out and handed the keys to Rawkill, before he jumped into the vehicle and motioned for Kent to do the same. Once they were both buckled in, he fired up the engines and took the air speeder off through the sky and out into the forest...
