*This area is made up of two places. First, outside of the main base complex is a grassy expanse which is located under the balcony. The courtyard is large enough to hold outdoor meetings, quiet enough to hold conversations, secure enough to resolve problems, and peaceful enough to just walk somewhere on the planet with out your shoes on. There is a path leading from the main gate and twisting up to the main complex.**Up the steps into the main base complex is a room that is somewhat large. It holds several seating areas as well as greenery native to the planet that can grow indoors. The flooring is sandstone like most of the flooring elsewhere in the base. The walls are still the stucco tanned color as the rest of the base's buildings. Tables surrounded by padded seats are scattered about, and a small fountain based in the middle floor is also present, providing the soft trickling sounds of water.
From this room branch off several other areas, such as the dormitories, the dining hall, the archives, and council chambers. A flight of steps lead up to the balcony, and another hall leads out into the gardens...*

*Rush made good time through the jungle on their way back to the base, especially when they found their usual path. There were no obstructions and no creatures impeding them on their way back, and they made it back to the courtyard of the base in no time. Morgan had Rush slow to a trot as they entered the courtyard, then stopped by the fountain. She slid off his back, then beckoned for Mark to do the same. When both kids were off the akk's back, she patted Rush on the side then hugged his neck, snuggling him.* Thank you, Rush, now back into the jungle for you now, okay? *Rush nuzzled against her, then turned and bolted off back out of the base and into the jungle. Morgan smiled, then sat down on the fountain's edge. Lokay climbed down beside her, laying down and folding his front right paw over his left as he sat and observed the pair. Morgan, still smiling, looked up at Mark and spread her arms wide in a demonstrative gesture.* Welcome! ... back. Cuz you were already here, right. *She lowered her arms, blushing a little bit. She glanced around, then shrugged.* So... do you want to go back to the medical wing, or do you want to do something else first?

Mark got off of Rush's back and stumbled a bit as he got back on his feet and tried to regain his balance.
"I'm ok...!"
He said, sounding as reassuring as he could. And he was fine. He just wasn't used to going that fast without being in a contained transport. Then Morgan sat down at the fountain and welcomed him... back... to the Jedi Base. He grinned for a moment before noting that Morgan seemed slightly embarrassed, and then he shook his head in answer to her last question. He approached her and began to sit down at the edge of the fountain.
"Not yet. I wanna see the fountain, it looks really coo-WoahWOAH-WO-..."
And before he knew it he had fallen backwards with a splash into the fountain. Luckily for him, he did not hit his head, but was able to catch his fall with his hands behind him. He was absolutely soaked, and took a moment to catch his breath, before he grinned again and found himself giggling at his own little blunder. He hadn't felt like this... like a kid... like he should have felt... for a long time. Once he was over his fit of the giggles, he moved his head under the cool falling water from the fountain, letting it soothe his ache. He looked over at Morgan with a bit of a goofy grin on his face and his hair all wet and matted, almost covering his forehead.
"Er, sorry if I got you wet..."

*Huh. Maybe Morgan should have slowed Rush down a little, since Mark seemed a little... overwhelmed by the experience. But he regained his balance... sort of, and responded to her question by saying that he'd like to see the fountain first. ... and then promptly proving he hadn't regained his balance yet by falling right into it.* Eep! *She flinched, ducking and covering her head as she was splashed, but not too badly. Lokay got the worst of it, flailing and darting off the fountain's edge, rolling on the ground before scrambling to all fours and shaking off. He looked at the fountain indignantly, then spread his wings and shook off again before crawling a few feet away and curling up out of harm's way.
Morgan had no time to react to poor Lokay, as she was staring into the fountain at Mark, wondering if he was okay. But strangely, he was laughing. She hadn't expected that, but... his laughter made her start to smile, then giggle a little herself. When he apologized if he got her wet, she shook her head.* No, it's okay! I like getting wet anyway. *She extended a hand to him, offering him help getting out of the fountain despite her small stature; she was stronger than she looked. At least he was having some fun now, or at least appeared to be.*

Mark flashed a smile when Morgan said she didn't mind getting wet, and then he stuck his head back under the falling water from the fountain one more time. It was really helping his headache. He noticed Morgan offering to help him up, so he took her hand, and let her help him out of the fountain. She was surprisingly strong for her age and size. He sat down on the edge of the fountain next to her, this time, managing to stay on the edge of the fountain.
"Thanks!"
He said to her with a smile. He was completely soaked and dripping wet.
"And thanks for coming back with me... I think I like it here now."
He admitted. The place was really growing on him despite panicking at the Medical Facilities earier, and a sense of home like he hadn't felt in a long time was beginning to manifest itself, not because of the place itself, but because of the people he had met.

*Morgan noted a little look of surprise as she helped pull Mark out of the fountain, and couldn't resist a small grin to herself. She'd surprised him, which was a minor victory for herself; she loved it when she could prove she was stronger or more skilled than the young, tiny child she appeared to be. Not that she was one to brag, she just liked to feel accomplished.
As he sat down, this time not falling in, Morgan sat down beside him. He admitted that he liked it here now, which made Morgan smile; another victory, in that someone else enjoyed this place. She enjoyed it too, though loved the jungle much more. But as she looked at him, soaking wet and dripping water, she had to grin to herself, giggling before speaking.* Guess we can't go anywhere anyway, not until you're dry. *She giggled again, then fell silent, suddenly unsure of what to talk about. There were many things she could have brought up, sure, but right now she wasn't sure which of those subjects to pursue. Maybe she'd just let Mark attempt to steer the conversation, if he would. She was also just content with sitting there for now, while Lokay kept his distance from the fountain. She finally let out a soft titter as she realized why he was staying away, but otherwise remained silent.*

Mark looked down at his clothes after Morgan had said they couldn't really go anywhere now since he was wet, and then looked back up at Morgan and giggled a little. His head was feeling a lot better ever since he soaked it in the fountain, so it was probably ok to wait some more. He didn't need to rush back into the medical wing just yet.
"Yeah, I guess you're right."
Mark said with a grin. Mark had wondered something. Morgan had said Felucia had adopted her as a daughter. And Morgan seemed to absolutely love Felucia, not only just the place, but the planet itself, which made sense to him, given what all Morgan had explained to him about their special connection.
"You really like it here, don't you? How long have you been here?"
Mark asked with a curious expression on his face.

*When Mark finally did speak, it was to ask if she really liked it here. Morgan beamed; oh, he had no idea.* Of c— *Oh, he wasn't done. She pulled her words back in but still seemed very excited. When he finished his question, which was how long she'd been here, she looked toward the ceiling thoughtfully for a moment then returned her attention to Mark, beaming again.* We've only lived here about a year or so, but we came here a while before that. That's when I learned Felucia was my mommy! *She let a small giggle escape her lips before continuing.* We didn't stay, but we came back once when I... *She paused, expression briefly mirthless. Quickly she regained herself, shook her head, and forced a smile.* I had to come back here because I got hurt, but Felucia took care of me and gave me those powers... We went back to our home on Belkadan, where we lived before here, but some Sith attacked and destroyed part of the Academy, so after we defeated them, we moved here. The Academy was rebuilt, I think, but it's just a safe haven now, my daddy says. And we've lived here ever since! And I love it here! I still have to take classes and let my daddy train me and stuff, but I still get to go out in the jungle a lot and play and get closer to my mommy. Even my daddy says this is kind of like training, because I'm learning how to take care of myself out in the jungle. And I'm happy that I get to learn new things too, even when I'm playing! *Morgan's enthusiasm had by now returned in full as she was once more beaming. She'd even made a few excited gestures, before finally resting her hands on her lap again. Felucia was a topic she was really passionate about, and why wouldn't she? It was the same passion a child used when talking about their awesome mother or father, which, well, was relevant. Her smile eventually softened to a friendly one before she nodded at Mark.* I think you're gonna like it here.

So Morgan wasn't originally from Felucia, she had been here for about a year. Mark noticed her falter slightly before she explained that she got hurt before she came back to Felucia. That's when he remembered the scars that were on her chest when he first saw her. He shook his mind off that though and listened to Morgan. That was something he would not question. At least not now. When she mentioned the Sith again, Mark murmured to himself what he remembered Morgan say earlier...
"... The Sith are the bad guys ..."
Mark continued to listen to Morgan enthuse about the place, and who could blame her? When she finished, he smiled.
"Yeah, I think I'm gonna like it here too."
Mark's smile turned into an inquisitive look, for a moment. He had to ask.
"Why did Sith attack your old base?"
Mark knew that Sith were the bad guys. But from what little he remembered of what his dad talked about, wars and attacks seemed more complicated than just bad guys being bad. Mark also wondered if the Sith that attacked the old base had anything to do with Morgan's scar... but he would not bring that up. In fact if it did, he decided he might change the subject. He didn't want to make Morgan explain something that would bring back any bad memories.

*Morgan frowned when Mark murmured; she'd heard what he said, and wondered why he was repeating it. It concerned her a little, especially his demeanor when he said it. But suddenly he was smiling again, saying that he thought he would like it here, and Morgan continued to consider a moment longer why such a thought about the Sith would concern him before she smiled as well, glad he agreed.
Then he asked why the Sith attacked the Academy on Belkadan. That must have had something do with his murmuring a moment ago, but what? Why was he curious, why was he asking about the Sith? Was he just trying to learn more about the bad guys so he could be more prepared? Why was she so invested in this anyway? It wasn't like it was a hard question to answer anyway, so she just shrugged.* They were Sith who hated my daddy, or something, and the Jedi Temple he helped build. They pretended to be old Sith, or something, but they weren't really the old Sith, and their leader just brainwashed them, and my daddy fought them for years, but they left us alone for a while when we moved to Belkadan, but then they finally chased us there and we finally beat them, and now they're gone forever. *"But not forever," Morgan swore she heard a dark voice whisper in her mind, causing her to suddenly shoot up straight, stare forward, and gasp softly as an ominous feeling came over her. What... What happened? "Not forever"? No, they were gone, they were dead, they weren't coming back. But Ambar came back... but when he did, he became a good guy! What would happen if the others came back?!
Morgan clenched her eyes shut and shook her head. Why was she making so many strange gestures? Mark probably thought she was weird. But then, he didn't seem to think other things were weird that a normal person would probably think was weird. So... could he think anything was weird? Either way, she couldn't keep doing this. She had to keep a composure, not give Mark any strange impressions. ... any more strange impressions.
She relaxed a little, giving him a nervous smile and otherwise attempting to pretend she hadn't acted up like that, instead preferring to let him continue the conversation thread himself if he so desired...*

Mark wondered what could possibly fuel such hatred for these Sith to act in the way they did. He just couldn't understand it. He smiled though when Morgan explained that her father was able to defeat the Sith that had attacked them. But then, Morgan seemed... disturbed, and Mark's smile faded. He gave a small start when she gasped, and then seemingly attempted to shake off whatever was bothering her.
"What is it? A...are you ok?"
And before he knew it, he had asked her a question that was pressing his mind, but he was trying to avoid.
"Your chest isn't hurting, is it?"
Mark clapped a hand to his mouth briefly before slowly lowering it, revealing an expression of regret and embarrassment. In the shock and concern of the moment, he had just let it slip out.
"I... I wasn't supposed to ask that..."
He was genuinely concerned about what had just happened, and only wanted to make sure she was ok. He thought that maybe the wound on her chest was bothering her. But then he realized it was probably just a scar, so that wouldn't have made sense. And in the process he feared he brought up an uncomfortable subject.
"I just wanted to know you're ok... Sorry..."
He said timidly, but meaningfully.

*Morgan frowned worriedly. Yep. She should have known better than to expect anyone to ignore that reaction. She wasn't sure how to explain this, though; the last thing she wanted to do was worry him about potential premonitions that didn't concern him, especially when he knew so little already.
But then he asked if her chest was hurting, and her frown became a curious one. He'd remembered her scars? He must have seen them back when they ran into each other. Well, apparently being naked wasn't enough to distract people from noticing her scars. ... bad time for jokes, she knew. But then he slapped his hand over his mouth, looking like he'd done something horrible and then apologizing, saying he wanted to know she was okay...
Well, that was sweet of him, and Morgan even gave him a grateful smile. Clearly he'd mistaken her scars as being related to the incident she mentioned, when they weren't. Did she tell him the full story, or just reference another event? She could think on the fly, and in the meantime just assure him the Belkadan assault and her scars weren't related.* It's okay, you don't have to be scared to ask. No, my chest's fine. I didn't get my scars from that attack anyway. I cut my forehead open, but that healed fast and there's no scar. See? *She raised a hand and lifted up her bangs, proving that her forehead was still in fact whole and free of blemishes. She let her bangs fall and she smoothed them before lowering her hand. She chewed on the flesh of her left cheek for a moment, then spoke again.* I got my scars somewhere else. Actually, sometime else, because I did get them on Belkadan... but a monster gave them to me, and I would have died if it weren't for Felucia... *Morgan looked toward the ground, briefly solemn. Silently, she thanked the very earth below her feet, the world itself, and her loving mother, before looking back up at Mark with a neutral expression.* ... that's what happened. When I said I had to come back here because I got hurt. She... she took my spirit, and I was with her the whole time while my daddy brought my body to the planet. The doctors fixed my body a little, but Felucia restored it with her spirit while she taught me more about the planet and the world and herself. It was... nice, actually... Because I could actually touch her, and she could hold me, and show me everything... *When Morgan realized her vision was blurring from the glistening of tears, she looked away to wipe her eyes. She blinked, restoring her vision, then looked at Mark, now smiling.* And that's how I got my powers. That's how I can speak Felucian and tame animals and be stronger in the Force when I'm in the jungle. *... if she feared that her premonition would be too much information for him, then what was all that? Well, this was a little more lighthearted than her premonition... which she still hadn't explained why she'd had that sudden reaction.* I mean, yeah, sometimes my scars burn if I think about what happened, or something reminds me of it, but that wasn't why I was acting weird. I... sensed something, and it surprised me, that's all. *Hopefully he bought the dismissal. He really didn't need to be concerned with something she should probably be talking to her father about as soon as she possibly could. Was he around now? The moment she could take Mark somewhere, preferably the medical wing, and be able to leave him alone, she was going to look for him. And tell him about this. He was the first person who needed to know.*

Mark let out a sigh of relief when Morgan said it was ok. Evidently it wasn't the attack at her old base that gave her that scar. He gazed wide-eyed as Morgan told him about the Monster on Belkadan. He made a mental note not to ever visit there unless he was with a Jedi. He continued to gaze in wonderment as Morgan explained even more about her connection with Felucia... how the planet had saved her life... how she got to meet her in spirit... Mark did not think it was odd, he thought it was beautiful. When Morgan started to become emotional explaining all of this, Mark felt his own emotions welling up. Oh how he longed to know his own mother that way. He had to shake that thought off though when Morgan had mentioned sensing something, and said that's why she reacted earlier. Mark's initial thoughts went to their earlier conversation about the Force. People can sense each other through the Force. Mark had a worried look now.
"So someone is nearby... someone bad?"
Mark assumed she had sensed someone nearby, since he hadn't really known a whole lot about the Force and didn't know much at all about premonitions. He did not know what she meant when she had sensed something.
"Should we tell the Jedi?"
Mark asked with a sense of urgency in his voice. He didn't sense any bad presence nearby, but Morgan knew a lot more about the Force than he did, and so he trusted her judgement.

Terra had decided to explore the base for a bit to get to know the area. She figured she wouldn't be of much help if she didn't know her way around, and it gave her some time to think and, probably more importantly, gather her courage. This was a new place that she would have to get used to, and it would likely take some time. She knew she couldn't just silently wander around forever.
Sighing, she walked through the courtyard, having come in through the lobby, noting the signs there that pointed to where everything else in the base was. Her gaze turned to two younglings talking with each other and she quietly walked past, not wanting to disturb them. Terra wasn't used to dealing with younglings much, though every now and then she stopped to help one who was lost or answer a quick question. Still, it would be rude to interrupt, so she slowly walked past them.

*Morgan frowned confusedly when Mark asked if "someone bad" was nearby, unable to determine what he was talking about. She didn't sense anything off... well, at least, not anywhere near them. Then he asked if they should tell the Jedi, and suddenly she knew what he was talking about. She grimaced, trying her hardest not to literally facepalm, then shut her eyes shut and shook her head.* No, it's... something else. Not here. It's fine, nothing's wrong, don't worry about it. *Hopefully that was the last they spoke of it, because she really wanted to move on from that and onto something else. Morgan glanced up a passerby, looked back down, then looked up again, eyes widening slightly. This girl... something was familiar about her. Wait, she was with Master Roma on Tython! What was she doing here? Was Master Roma here too? Morgan grinned, hopping off the fountain and running a few steps before suddenly stopping and turning to Mark.* Sorry, I think I know her, I'll be right back! *Morgan then quickly approached the woman, but, unsure how to get her attention, decided to slow down and match pace with her; jumping in front of her would just be rude. Morgan then smiled up at her.* Hi! I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Morgan! We met on Tython! I was talking to Master Roma! Um... my hair was a little wet I guess... does that ring a bell? *She giggled, remembering that little baptism of hers, one that was slightly embarrassing at the time, but in hindsight seemed perfectly fine to her.* I know Master Roma told me your name, but I can't remember it... was it Therra... ?

Terra was still lost in thought, but was jolted from them when Morgan came up and spoke to her, and she turned to face the little girl, now recognizing the face of the girl she had met on Tython. They hadn't talked much, as Terra had been intimidated by the crowds and Morgan had been speaking with Serrin. Still, she couldn't help but smile a little at Morgan's enthusiasm, and it was nice to see at least one familiar face here.
She giggled a little when Morgan couldn't quite remember her name."It's Terra. It's nice to see you again, Morgan. I do remember seeing you on Tython."

Something else? How did Morgan sense something that wasn't near? It didn't make sense to Mark. He thought you had to be near something to sense it. But before he could ask any questions, Morgan seemed to put a stop to that topic, claiming nothing was wrong an that he didn't need to worry about it. Mark wondered though whether it was something to be concerned about, but then he noticed the woman in the room as well, and Morgan said she wanted to greet her.
"Ok."
Mark said as Morgan got up to go greet the woman. Mark waved to them shyly from the fountain after Morgan finished talking to her. He wondered if this woman was one of the Jedi teachers at the base, because he could feel her presence.

*Oh. Terra, not Therra. So close! Though Therra sounded like a cute name, but Terra was fine too. Morgan was at least glad Terra recognized her from Tython; it was nice to be remembered. Morgan looked around curiously, expecting Master Roma to be around, but didn't see her. She then looked back up at Terra, still smiling.* What're you doing here? Is Master Roma here too? *Master Roma was really nice, Morgan remembered that much. And good with kids. And very helpful; she'd helped Morgan understand just what exactly happened in the river, with her sudden baptism. And Morgan knew that Terra was Master Roma's Padawan, so if they weren't together, well... that wouldn't be very strange, actually. Maybe a little bit disappointing, though, but that was okay; then she could get to know Terra better! Hopefully.*

Terra smiled and shook her head. "I'm here by myself this time. I'll be staying for a little while to learn here."
She sighed softly, already feeling a little homesick and still wishing that Serrin were here with her. Most of the other times that she had visited other worlds had been with her master so she had never really felt this before. At least Morgan was a familiar face.

Mark got up slowly from the edge of the fountain. His clothes were still quite soaked. He slowly approached Morgan and the woman whose name was Terra. He stood there for a moment, shyly, not wanting to interrupt them. He wondered if Terra was one of the Jedi teachers. After what Morgan had told him about the Force, he was eager to meet one of the Jedi teachers and learn more about it. He waited, giving them a shy smile.
