*Kaytra gave a low laugh.* "I never would have made a very good Jedi. To much free will. The reason I might make you smile is because I say what's on my mind. Whether people want to hear it or not."
*She listened to what Grey-Kast said. Giving a slight nod, she also began to wonder when this mysterious person Crystaall was waiting would show. Hours had passed since Ashur had entered the tavern. He had drawn a fair amount of attention making his way in due to the fact that he was dressed in far nicer clothing than the rest of the tavern's patrons. Many uncomfortable stares had given the man the impression that he should expect trouble later on, but for now, everything seemed alright. Having taken a seat in a corner to the back of the establishment, Ashur was able to keep an eye on everything going on. He scanned the crowd for awhile, taking note of the patrons. The tavern was filled with the usual crowd: thugs, thieves, low-lives of all sorts. This was fine however, all according to plan. Ashur knew if one was in need of information, the best place to find it was amongst criminals and spacers.
After about ten minutes or so, Ashur's attention moved from the patron's to the tavern itself, it seemed nastier than he remembered. It seemed darker, more crowded, and the smoke hanging in the air was enough to cause a person to suffocate. "How appropriate", was all that he thought, the tavern had always been seedy, but now its outward appearance resembled its inward nature. Ashur clasped his hands together and rested his chin upon them, he then closed his eyes and began listening in on the conversations around him. The patrons had been talking about different things: an increase in Tusken activity in the Dune Sea, specifically something about one peace-seeking clan in particular, increases and decreases in the local economy, gang-activity, and a few interesting tid-bits about a local research project involving possible ancient Sith activity on Tatooine.
After about thirty minutes of this, Ashur stood up and made his way out of the bar. As he started down the alley outside, he was stopped by a rather shabby-looking man.
=Vagrant= "You aren't dressed like guys in there, judging by the outfit, I'd say you're some kind of politician."
The man gave a gruff chuckle and slowly pulled out a small blaster pistol, aiming it straight at Ashur's chest. "Politicians mean money, so do yourself a favor and hand over all ya got."
"Called it" was all Ashur said as he slowly raised his hands. "That's a nice blaster you have there, it's a shame about what's going to happen to it." He said as one of his hands curled into a loose fist.
"What the hell is that supposed to me--AH!!!" Is all the vagrant got out as his blaster began crumpling into a useless piece of scrap metal. Ashur looked the man eyes and gave something of an eerie smile.
"I'm afraid I don't have time to play with you, I'm a very busy man you see, so in the meantime I'll leave you with this." Ashur said as he turned and began making his way to the main street. The vagrant, still speechless suddenly grabbed his left arm and began yelping in pain. As his arm began slowly bending backwards one could hear his bones popping. Not long after turning the corner, Ashur could a loud "CRACK" followed by a loud scream of pain. Ashur merely smiled and disappeared into the crowd, whistling a strange tune.

It seemed Tatoonie was even more lawless than he had been led to believe. Panno had only been pm the planet for an hour and he had already seen a group of thugs attempt to beat down an old man, and some gutter punk in well the gutter. He could sense the ambient dark energies swirling from the broken bone of the man, but whoever or whatever had done it was long gone. Lost to the crowds. Still it didn't hurt to check the inside he thought, maybe the guy was still inside. In truth it was just his mind rationalizing a way to get out of the sun and heat.
Walking through the scanners in the doorway he passed whatever inspection they were for. Obviously not weapons as he was armed with both a sword and lightsaber. If it could be possible it was hotter inside than out, the air clawed at his lungs the taste of smoke from different plants burning their way through him. Although the force could sustain him, possibly indeffinatly it wasn't the same as the real thing. Pushing his way towards the bar he sat on an old wood seat ignoring it's protests from his weight he leaned forward.
What's a man gotta do to get some grub around here?
As he spoke he was aware of a few of the patrons leaving, giving him wary glances. No doubt fugitives to Sinstras Empire. He cared little for them, and for the others that looked at his armour with lust in their eyes. Snapping his fingers he lifted an overflowing ashtray into the air and turned around. Everyone had apparently found something of great interest near their feet. Not one to show off it was more a warning, don't fuck with me and I won't ruin your day.

"Usu'ly ya 'ave ta pay..." Louie answered, as he made his way to the... Lizard? "I've got Bantha stew, burgers, en steaks...It yah ain't a meat eat'r, en I doubt ya ain't, there'sa new place up near tha spaceport... Sumthin' call'd vegan cuisine." Louie shrugged, not knowing the term, or it's meaning. Only that this new restaurant was odd as the void. No meat on the menu, how? Louie shook his head, not able to wrap his mind around the concept of no animal anything in his diet.
"I mus' say though... Tha stew is a local fav'rit." The ample barkeep leaned up against the bar, and grinned a toothy grin. "En how'a bout'a drink, sumthin' ta wet yer whistle?"

Ah, now that was an accent he hadn't heard his whole time here. Someone from the planet, most people he had encountered thus far were people who moved here with high aspirations and just got stuck. No hope left in their eyes or voices, but this guy with a twang in his voice still had both. This was a man that knew things, more so than just the average bartender that overheard things. The way he held himself and looked around spoke of a criminal used to flying under the radar, after all the local police force was the person you wronged and whoever had the fastest draw. He wasnt the reason Panno was here though. Nah criminals can be just as useful as law abiding citizens.
Well if everyone is fond of the stew lets give it a shot.
Staying silent for a few seconds his repto-mammalian eyes racked over the different drinks. Unlike most people of note in the galaxy he was not a heavy drinker. However on a planet like this water would cost more than a clean gaudy whore in the Unknown Regions. Still there was one things he recognized on the shelf there, an old favourite of his Master.
See that Cognac there in the green bottle? Think I can get some of that?
He didnt care that it was meant for something more than a drink in a musty bar, he reached into his back pocket, under his cloak and revealed some an Imperial credit chit. Now was the moment of truth. Would he accept this shit or would he need to dig in for something a little more barginable.

Louie gave the off-worlder an "approving" nod of the head. "Not bad, not bad..." He started, turning from the Imperial Knight and back towards the kitchen. "It ain' ofen tha' I've hadda "offie" act'ly wanna try." Louie said as he rounded the door frame into the kitchen, visible through the serving-window as he ladled out an ample bowl of the rich stew. "So, ya got sum balls, fer one, an' a good sens'a when sumones'a BSin' ya."
The barkeep grinned to the lizard, through the window, before coming back with the steaming bowl. Louie put it down infront of the man, and gave him a well worn spoon and a rag - most likely a napkin.
Louie turned to follow the Lizard's stare, then turned back as the man produced a credit chip. "As long as yer payin', I'll keep pourin'."
With that said the bartender went over to the bottle, having to go up on his tippy toes in order to even reach the obviously rarely used - if ever drunk liquor. He pulled it down and gave the bottle a quizzical look. He didn't really know what it was. The Lizard had said it was a cognac, but Lou wasn't so sure of that. The labeling had long since been eaten away by some type of microbe or glue eating mite. All that remained was the parchment thin essence of a label and the hefty bottle of dark glass itself.
"Ere ya go..." Louie said, putting the bottle down before Panno, and producing a glass from below the bar. "I realy ain' sur wha ya got there. So, I'll give yah a specil price on tha bottle. I'll even go so far as ta let ya sample it first." Louie grinned, as he uncorked the bottle with a pop. Well, at least it seemed airtight, and the cork didn't look like it was growing a culture of inelegant bacteria on it...yet.

Eyeing up the stew in front of him Panno had second thoughts, it was already hot in here and by the looks of the steam this was hotter than the twin suns above the skies. The smell though cut through the smoke and stale air to make his stomach growl, either in protest or need he wasn't really sure. Foods a two way street you can learn a lot about a man by the way he cooks.
With that he picked up the spoon not thinking about the hundreds if not hundreds of thousands of lips that had been pressed against it. Dipping it into the broth he pulled out what had to pass as a vegetable in these parts and some sort of meat. Both looked the same to him in colour and texture. Biting down he was surprised at the rich taste and shook his head in agreement, despite it burning all the skin in his mouth it was damn good.
Compliments to the chef, its all going to the same place buddy dont worry about the taste just need to wet my palate
Scanning the chip for the amount of a glass he took another bite of the stew.

"That ya can." Louie replied, as the credits were transferred to his establishment. "En also learn mor'a 'bout tha purson eatin' it." He gave the lizard a grin, knowing that only men of war were so cautious about their surroundings. He could respect that, having been a runner, smuggler, and muscle for some of the more seedy crime syndicates on the planet. You learn to be on your guard, on your toes, taking in the finest of details in order to keep yourself one step in front of the other guy.
"Aw, yah, ya like it?" Louie beamed. "Well don' be ya strang'r nex time ya get out this way." Louie leaned forward, leaning the bar slightly with a rag. "So, I guess that brings me ta..." Louie looked up to meet the man eye to eye. "Wha ya doin' here, strang'r?"

As Louie looked into his eyes Panno felt an electric shock flow through him. For the most part, where he spent his days no one dared look an Imperial Knight in the eye. Save people of great importance. For someone like the carman to do such a thing was pretty rare. After all the suit of armour and connection to the force raised him to neR mythical status. Straight to the point fair enough.
Why had he come here? Normally he would say it was the will of the force guiding him but that wasn't true this time. When the Foece was his guide he would remember the journey just as well as the destination. The first thing he remembered was playing with a child on some transport above the planet. This was something different, almost as if he had lost control of his body for a while as if something or someone was controlling him. Then a false image flickered in his mind. A metal.
I'm here looking for Phrik. An extremely rare metal, apparently there is a lost mining facility out there. Although it wasn't

Yes, to the point.
It wasn't the ample barkeep's style to beat around the bush. Nobody came into his tavern without a story or mission, no one, and nine times out of ten it was to gather information from him. Louie couldn't help if he was known - at least in these parts - as a wealth of criminal knowledge. If he were on any other planet, it might have been a detriment, but here, in this place of seedy everything... well, not so much.
He looked at the Knight, feeling the slight surprise behind the otherwise stern exterior. It was alright, he thought to himself. It was fine to stand eye to eye, nose to nose with a Forcie... The Old Sith had taught him that. So, if it ruffled the Knight's feathers, so be it. This was his bar, his domain, his life, and it should garner respect from all who entered it. "Hmmm..." Louie answered, rubbing the perpetual stubble of his chin. "I see, en ya definatly ain't tha first thru 'ere ta men'ion riches like that." He stopped, and huffed, thinking for a minute on all the off-worlders that had come through over the years in search of treasure, fame and fortune, and all other manners of a quick cred. Louie thought and thought, but couldn't remember ever hearing or seeing them again. It wasn't odd, more commonplace for people to go missing on this planet. So, he never really gave it much thought. Stupid fortune seekers getting killed over promises of riches in the vast emptiness of the desert, only to probably succumb to exposure, Tuskens, or worse a Dragon or Rancor. Louie gave it all a shrug, what did he care?
"I'd say - don' do it - but yer gunna anyway. So, I gues I'mma say - Jus' cause yer a Frocie don' take from da fact that this planet kills. I seen plen'y of off-worlders come thru 'ere on tresure 'unts... I ain't ever seen one come back."Louie gave the Knight a shrug. "Tha mos' re'ent story I've 'eard was'sa archi'olo-what'sit goin' out ta tha middle of tha Dune Sea, er sumthin'... En poof, nuthin', jus' gone. Course that 'appens all tha time. People go out en nev'r come back. So, I guess I'm sayin' at er own risk, strang'r."

Drinks!
She held his arm gently as she looked around for an empty table for their escapade

After a few moments of thought she smiled as they crossed the room and sat in a booth, leaning forward in a flirting manner, she looked up at him
Tihaar, and if they make a mixed drink that's stronger, that!
She giggled and sat back in the booth, waiting for him to order

Ty gave a cheer when he set her glass down in front of her and winked to him and raised her glass to his toast
You wish! Bottoms up!!
She giggled before shooting back the first drink, her eyes sparkling as she slammed the glass down on the table
Yummy! That was deliscious! Pour again, hun!
She slid her glass across the table to Gavin

*Gavin merely smirked as he down the first shot. In his life, he had many types of alcohol, Corellian Whiskey being the main choice due to his brother's liking. The drink burned as it went down, he closed his eyes for a quick second, not expecting it to be so strong. But one shot was all he needed. Pain was good, burning was good. It let you know you were alive. It had been some time since he had drank, but he was still good at holding his own.* "So that's it? I expected stronger."
*He poured them both another glass. He looked at it for a moment, thinking of the celebrations he'd been in with friends and family. Some many memories, now only such. Quickly, he downed another shot.*

Tyra giggled before knocking back that shot as well, setting the glass down on the table and giving a rather unnecessarily loud exhale as she looked up at him with big, sparkling eyes. For her this was only the beginning, as she had been known to fare well in drinking contests. She pushed her glass to him again and leaned back while waiting for him to pour it, something of curiousity in her eyes.
Well what drink is your favorite for these games? hm?
She smiled and combed her fingers through her hair, leaning forward against the table and giving him a playful glance
I'm always into the more hardcore stuff
Ty winked before placing her hand on her glass, waiting for it's refreshment by his hand. Her mind wandered momentarilly to the last drinking game she had been a part of. It had been on Alzoc III on the day she had met Valstrol. As she remembered it had been a total accident that she had wandered into the cantina just outside the Horica home. Yet she was thankful to the man who's name was elusive in Tyra's mind. All she remembered was that he had been a mando, and Ty had beaten him, and then tried to kill him.
