It was true, often times when it came to planning, for one he didn't usually plan, he was more in the being spontaneous spectrum, and two he sucked a planning, and further than that, he often knew that whenever he started to get his mind onto something, a event would happen and thus obliterate the plan that had begun forming in his mind. Nonetheless he did cringe a bit on the spot and just looked at her with a faint sigh but it just evaporated when she did kiss him. "Riiiight, that birthday gift." Blowing some air, knowing that well circumstances just did not somewhat allow for them to leave. There was her turning out to be attuned to the Force, then there was those revelations that came with it, followed by her training, or at least the start of it, then him and his brother being accused for crimes they did not commit, and then the Academy got more and more initiates again, then Elika disappearing for three years. The last seven years have been filled with trials and tribulations. "On the flip side though, and I know it's not the same, you and I did finally take a trip together finally." Though he did purse his lips since this was not a good example honestly but besides the fact that there was the court-martials, they were currently on Hapes, and they were currently by the pool.
Placing his hands by her side once more, he raised himself up and kissed her again softly. "It'll happen, I don't know when, but it will, and if all fails, like I have said, used it with someone else other than me." Atlantis had suggested knowingly, he knew he had told her this already a while ago, but again circumstances.
Though currently he knew it was not important, and he knew that it wasn't important to her at all as well. Hence why he was paying more attention to the ongoing conversation that the women seemed to be having right now. Though he did end up looking at Lily and he smiled just peacefully. Atlantis believed in the Light side of the Force, and often times he knew he was guided, one way or another, especially when he meditated it would give him some clarity. Of course sometimes on the spot, since meditation wasn't possible often times, he had to make a call, and usually those calls, he hoped would have a good outcome, if not he'd always take the blame if and when necessary. Though Atlantis knew what Lily was talking about, was it coincidence, or did it stop being coincidences like when he recently thought about it. There were too many things that seemed to be too interconnected, and often times he wondered if it had anything to do with the three houses of Coruscant, especially all of the descendants.
Yet he wasn't in such a rush to figure it all out, he had already seen what had happened when all of the descendants had been together, then there was that other thing back then. He could still remember the seething fury from his brother, but also the despair Andros had felt before he had decided to turn his back on using his lightsabers again. But now he had been asked to be retrained. Something was probably up, and whatever that something turned out to be, he didn't want to find out soon, at all.
"Well any time really, as long as we are on Umgul." Atlantis said with a faint chuckle before looking at Saoirse knowing and understanding that potentially it was the credits that were the problem, and yet still he didn't want to just put her outright on the spot. "Next time you go have them on holocall, tell them hello from me and that I would love to have them back home whenever they do manage to get some time off, and actually decide that they do miss you so much that they want to see you and the Misty planet in the Mid Rim."

Atlantis was still on the fence, sure he would be glad that the court-martial would be over and done with quickly, but there was still that unknown factor that bugged him so to speak. Bias they were told by Andros according to the Chume'doro he had spoken to. Atlantis knew that also being an Ereneda was hereditary, but did the Ereneda now personally knew the Wan siblings, though from what he had been told, apparently when the siblings had first left, there was no current heir, so who was the heir, and who exactly was she to the Hapan siblings... Then Nash did mention he had made a good friend here, and Lana had mentioned that there was someone amongst the Chume'doro she had been close to.
"I have a feeling that we won't exactly be leaving after the court-martial has concluded..." Atlantis wasn't speaking to anyone in particular about that fact, but deep down, he had just that hunch, and maybe they had some unfinished business too. Again this was just now, and that was just his current assumption, then again anything and everything could happen. "Plus my dearest brother will want to speak with the Queen Mother." Potentially to express the gratitude for the welcome to all of them, and for putting them into a fancy hotel, plus he was certain that the Chume'doro were given some orders about them. Prime one was, it seemed what they were comfortable with, they'd abide by it. Crystal had been the first one to say something about the bodyguard issue. Atlantis knew his girlfriend had her reasons, and mainly those came from bad experiences in the past ergo why she always despised having bodyguards.
Something that all of her childhood friends would know about obviously, of course.
About the Honoghr situation, Atlantis knew that trip had several reasons tied to them, ergo why he did look at Crystal and blinked once understanding completely. Thankfully though, that was easily managed, though for the time being he just nodded confirming Crystal's guess on how exactly they always seem to know what was happening inside of the Academy. "It's a fifty fifty really, plus you know who the other Councilors are, and where their mastery reside in as well." They didn't entirely rely on the AI quite honestly, most of the time they always knew what to listen or look for whenever they were at the Academy. Though that suggestion from Saoirse, it got Atlantis to look at her thoughtfully, it wasn't something he had thought about before since prior to the attack on the Academy, it was a kept secret, though now...
Maybe? Hence why he just told his apprentice with a smile. "Let's talk about it with the others when we are back home." Even if he could take a decision right here and right now, he despised making unilateral decisions quite honestly, and thus he wasn't about to start currently. But the fact that Crystal would potentially put some time aside to talk to it, then that is good, now he knew he had to inform his brother about it as well. Putting that matter to rest right now, he just listened to the women talking with one another. Atlantis wasn't surprised at all that Saoirse had not picked up that the lawyers from Honoghr, and even Maze who wasn't a lawyer had not picked up that they were attuned to the Force. Saoirse was relatively new to it, and it also would just take a while to latently keep sensing. Currently though he was more interested in hearing what the Zabrak was saying, particularly about her parents, since he actually never got a chance to ask either. "You should convince your parents to come in for a visit whenever they can or want." Atlantis told her with a warm smile, and if it was the expense that was going to be problematic, then honestly that wasn't a problem to him either, he could take care of it.

When Crystal brought up Serrin, Atlantis' eyes briefly dimmed, though at the same time he didn't truly feel sadness, maybe just partially, but at the same time considering that the holocron AI construct had been integrated into the Academy back home, in essence, the Twi'lek Master Jedi was still alive so to speak at least to him. He did interact with it, and often it kept him updated with the ongoings back at the Academy. Though he briefly closed his eyes when his girlfriend kissed his forehead, and he just smiled to let her know that it was alright. Atlantis was considering in telling her then and there, but they weren't back on Umgul, and thus Crystal wouldn't be able to just see for herself, until they returned, but...
Placing his hand on hers, and giving it a squeeze, Atlantis corrected a statement of hers nonetheless, "She also became a friend of yours, she did teach you Broken Gate." That was a fact, Crystal always had that discipline, and her control did also come majorly from learning martial arts, and she was mighty good at it. Though he did look at Saoirse with a knowing grin, "The High Councilor of the Jedi Order that I mentioned to you, not the one who originally contacted me, but the one who by her own volition smoothed things out, that was her." Placing his hand back down with Crystal's on her lap, he finally let her know. "Lyov has, and is still being trained by her." He knew he just dropped it here and now, but whatever, she deserved to know, like his own brother too quite honestly, and Atlantis would have to let Andros know about that, but he did not hesitate to explain, "When the Jedi from Corellia, Hyatt Ashton, came over it was with her holocron. And as you know I wasn't ready to face him just yet..." Atlantis wasn't before truly, and he had definitely been the one to make the call to spare the Epicanthix's life back then, but at the same time he still had to make peace that Serrin had joined the Force, all too soon for his taste.
"Before we all agreed to hand it over to Lyov, we decided to upload the holocron's interface to the academy's mainframe, so in essence it, she is the heart and soul of the Academy now." Atlantis told her, and everyone he was here with before glancing at Saoirse with a knowing smile. "That would be the AI of the Academy, who was actually the one who ushered all the students into safety when the defensive measures got activated, it had total control." It was also thanks to the AI with whom he interacted frequently the last three years that he had made peace with what happened five years ago. "You should come to the Academy, and strike a convo with it, I should also probably inform Andros of that fact since he requested to be retrained too." Atlantis was certain that his brother had requested that from Mace, though perhaps it would also be a good option for Andros if Mace was busy with other things.
Putting that matter to rest, at least for now, Atlantis knew that he probably had just dropped a bomb so to speak, but he figured that he'd stop updating them for now, especially with that other situation that was related to Franz, since currently Crystal seemed to be interested in getting to know Saoirse more, particularly after the two childhood friends mentioned that there was a big probability that Crystal wouldn't embrace the Jedi life if her sensitivity had presented itself earlier than later in her life. There was always a chosen path, and he understood it all the same, which was why he wasn't feeling bummed about it for in the end it was not his life, it wasn't his choice to make, and he was fine with just guiding those who wished to be guided.

Before Atlantis had taken off to do his laps, he had told Saoirse that he did not see any reasons why not, and even so if she wanted to go even if he wasn't there, she could but more likely check with at least the two Hapans if necessary and if he wasn't going to show up. After all, to him honestly, he wasn't going to be there to interject, or whatever for obvious reasons as he was very certain also that all of the lawyers would be there. Then again he was not the that much planning ahead type, at least not for his case, and Saoirse quite honestly did not need his permission either. They weren't here on Jedi business, and he was just fine being in the background.
Continuing to swim under the water, he just felt a sense of peace, plus it wasn't noisy at all, ergo no distraction, but of course the distraction came when Crystal addressed him and he stopped moving before surfacing finally after a while then swam over to her as she kept talking to Saoirse, he waited and placed his arms on her thighs before shaking his head with a faint smile.
"No, just why you were hiding it." Atlantis finally replied after Crystal was done speaking, "Said you had your reasons obviously, but also in a way tied to your family history." Atlantis explained with a grin, he supposed, or maybe what he had said was taken at face value, and probably why often times miscommunications could happen, but it was not that big of a deal, and therefore easily rectifiable. "We all found out during tumultuous times, and her first experience had been with anger."
Looking over to Saoirse with a faint shrug, he was certain that the Zabrak would understand the implication honestly, and how easily it was to manipulate the Force when the currents were wild and fiery. There was obviously more to it, but also that certainly was up to Crystal to share or not at all honestly, and therefore he just kept quiet on that front, but nonetheless he did tell Saoirse, "It's easier to guide, and teach someone younger, younglings, or even padawans will already have that preconceive notion on doing something with sensitivity if they so wish of course." Atlantis was always about choices, giving everyone one whenever possible, if and when necessary. "Some will either continue, or some will do something else but still keep their abilities honed or not at all."
Because due to other circumstances too, Crystal asked to be trained, and he'd gladly oblige like a few of them back on Umgul, but still they never made any obvious references to Crystal at all especially when she was at the Academy. "So yes at first she hid it, because she did not want to be influenced, and I figured that whenever she was ready to say that she is attuned to the Force, then she'll say it." Looking up at his girlfriend with a knowing smile before tilting his head on the side briefly, he wondered if he should tell her or let her be surprised. Since they weren't on Umgul presently, he preferred to keep it quiet for now at least.

Quite honestly, Atlantis did not know the lawyers from Honoghr as much as he should, or could have. He did talk with them a while back, and extensively too for reasons on why they had come to Umgul, but other than that, they were friends of Lily and Crystal truly. He did get the run down that Stefanie and Andrea were sisters, but they also had another sister, Stefanie's twin, and Stefanie's twin was someone he knew about at least. CorSec days, other than that, Atlantis didn't get a chance at all to inquire about that Strange sister, at least not yet, though he knew he had to rectify that at some point.
It's not that Atlantis was curious about the lawyers' lives, he often just listened when Crystal or even Lily would volunteer some tidbits about their friends, and that was just fine with Atlantis, of course, although the last time he had heard about Andie, she wasn't with Brion like she was now. "I'll check on my brat later, you know how he can be." Atlantis told Lily with a smirk before looking at her dubiously actually. "Speaking of brat, or even potential future sestra in law, bummer for you that Kassidy or even Kris did not tag along?" The other senior partner of PMS lawfirm, and her significant other who was Lily's brother. He knew at least that they had a Honoghr trip planned in any case, and therefore it would allow to see everyone there. Perhaps, he too would be heading there, if that finally happened.
And that thing was Ares and Alisha finally getting married.
Seeing that Lily and even Crystal joined them in the pool, Atlantis placed him arms on the edge of it by Crystal before he looked up at her. Drinks or dinner with the advocates, well that should be interesting, Atlantis was certain that the lawyers would want the whole nine yards, answers from them and everything, but would also give their input too maybe. That was definitely above his paygrade, though he still wanted to figure out why the Ereneda actually wanted the Wan cases be over and done with quickly and painlessly. That was probably the million credit question for a lot of them. "Considering it." Atlantis finally replied, support for Elika too, so why not.
Not really wanting to dwell on that matter, for he figured he'd find out sooner or later, Atlantis wasn't in a rush and instead, he would focus on the now, and right now was just his girlfriend mentioning that his apprentice had some questions for Crystal, which made him look at Crystal with an appreciative smile quite frankly. "She does, yep, I'll let you do the talking, while I swim a few laps." He told her as he placed both of his hands at each side of her before he raised himself up and kissed her lips then pulled back and winked at her, starting from one end, Atlantis took a deep breath and just submerged himself under the water, his signature expanded as he also created a barrier in front of his nose and mouth before finally swimming his laps under water without coming up for air or oxygen.

Nodding while smiling to what Mahela told him, it always worked for him indeed, and maybe her suggestion would also help but he could be a creature of habit when it came to himself in any case. Currently he was interested in the subject she was studying for, although it definitely got him to furrow his eyebrows for a bit before chuckling and shaking his head. "Cannot tell you what's funner out of the two, but I am interested. I obviously am unfamiliar, though from the words there, it's about behaviors?" He asked with uncertainty, before lifting his hands and saying, "Sorry, you are studying for a test, do not want to interrupt you at all."
Those subjects were above of his pay-grade so to speak, and maybe he'd have a hard time understanding, but he also loved learning new things quite honestly. Plus it was nice to hear about something different to what he was used to altogether.
Inclining his head when she then mentioned she'd go join Saoirse in a bit, Atlantis never thought of himself as supermodel or whatever, he was humble he supposed, and maybe indeed his looks helped him, but looks were nothing if the personality did not follow in any case. So whether the person was alluring or not, good for them, plus beauty was in the eyes of the beholder. Laughing at what Saoirse had just said, Atlantis shook his head, he knew it was a compliment, but it always made him feel like he never knew what to say. "Would you believe me if I told you that everyone despise that?" He asked with a grin before nodding in her direction too. "Ditto. Though in the end, good looking or not, what's the point if we had a shitty personality, right?" That was all that mattered in the end, and perhaps this was going to be a philosophical discussion.
Yes everyone looked at the appearance first and foremost especially when they did not know the person, but after wards, some would say it depended on the vibe. At least that was what he would be told by either Lily or Crystal, and even to a certain degree Elika. Appearance and the first words spoken was going to give them a certain idea of the person.
Speaking of Crystal, he smiled when she addressed him before glancing at Mahela with a knowing smile. "She is on her way, don't worry." He reassured her, and lo and behold, not only it was Lily but also Crystal, it made him look at the childhood friends with a faint smirk before Crystal dropped his swimming shorts on top of him. "Alright, but I still prefer your pool back home." For obvious reasons, only people they invited could go there and it wasn't this setting at all where Hapans were staring because they were curious. "Learning Hapan, locals here do not speak Basic, we had to point at what we wanted at the café." Atlantis explained before glancing at Mahela with a smirk. "Studying for a test. But..." Lifting his datapad and dimming it before removing his other earbud, Atlantis stored those in his jacket before grabbing the swimming shorts and looking around finding where people could change, plus Crystal asked him to, so why not.
He tilted his head on the side and smiled when she informed him about the siblings. "That's good, Lindsay just like Elika must be relieved." Standing up from his lounge chair. "Be right back, I'll go get changed." Pointing at the locker, changing area there, Atlantis walked towards it for some privacy. He knew that his stab wound that had been there due to Andros stabbing him a long time ago would be visible plus some other scars over his torso and abs, he actually no longer cared much about those. Changing into his swimming shorts, Atlantis grabbed all of his effects, his signature was no longer hidden by his lightsaber crystal since he placed those in his duster's pockets.
Returning to his lounge chair and placing his things there, before just walking towards the pool and dived into it, and didn't come back up immediately and just let the water just overtake him for a bit before swimming back up once more. He finally looked at Crystal and even Lily dubiously. "Anyone else joining us, by the way?"

Atlantis had been listening to the Hapan lessons, which was spoken through his earbuds, and it had basic subtitles beneath. One of the best ways for him to learn, in the dialect he was learning and the subtitles beneath before each words were repeated individually and the meaning was given. Perhaps his pronunciation at first would suck, but at least he'd understand. Apparently Hapan was also one difficult dialect to learn but he figured that if his brother managed to do so, it would be a task that he would be able to achieve. Though he didn't need to actually speak it, all he wanted was to understand it...
Pausing the lessons when he noticed that both Saoirse and Mahela had arrived at the pool and also noticing that there were a few people now, Atlantis just briefly looked around and noticed indeed that the Hapans present here weren't used to seeing other species, but he also supposed that there was nothing much they could do about it, at least hopefully, since after all this was a fancy hotel and their party wasn't lost at all.
Grinning when his apprentice dived into the pool, he was surprised to see Mahela not joining her at all, it made him look at the Togruta with a somewhat dubious expression though he knew that maybe she was uncomfortable with the stares they were garnering right now. Smiling when she decided to lounge beside him and listening to her advice, Atlantis nodded confirming that he was indeed starting with his Hapan lessons. "Actually conversational audio clips, with subtitles beneath." He explained removing one of his earbuds and showing his datapad with a grin. "I learn better this way also, listening to the words spoken, and having the translations beneath. I have a strong eidetic and photographic memory." For the time being it was just everyday thing, just greetings, and being polite, he was certain he could recall it hopefully.
Plus he was also one to assimilate things once he was submerged into it, which clearly being in Hapes was going to be the case and he had to admit it interested him too knowing different cultures even if he didn't agree with things entirely he was ready to see things, and even listen to other things to what he usually believed in.
"Seems like you are learning for something as well." He gestured to her own datapad with a faint smile before tilting his head slightly on the side with a faint frown. "Not comfortable in joining Saoirse?" Atlantis waved his hand briefly to let her know that she did not need to answer him at all for he understood all the same. "Sorry, I should have informed you ahead that the pool would be filled with supermodels." Which was true, all of the Hapans here seemed to be alluring too in any case, and in a big way it did made him chuckle deep down because he had often been described as Model Face or whatever other descriptions some people tossed in his direction.

Smiling when Saoirse asked when she'd be constructing her lightsaber, "When we return to Umgul, there is a rite of passage called the Gathering, which you can look up even now or any time you want. We, the Councilors, were going to task one of the Padawans, to take some of the younglings and initiates alike to a crystal cave for them to find their own crystal each, but depending on how many I might come along." Atlantis began to explain thoughtfully, it was the first step indeed, though he added also, "But it's no easy feat, constructing a lightsaber, it won't mean a thing if you do have a crystal, so I'll tell you also to read or listen to the lightsaber construction, and philosophy when you do get a moment." Atlantis did go through all of those back then, and it took some time for him to initially built his lightsabers, but with dedication it became easy, and also he had gathered different crystals throughout the years, and kept the ones he had now.
"We shall talk more about it when you read up, or listen to some of those texts."
That was all he said on the matter, for he actually didn't want to overload her with too much information, plus also the Gathering and finding their own crystal it came with a trial of some sort, the initiate had to overcome their own personal fears and failings, but considering what had just happened recently on Umgul also, what happened to Saoirse, he preferred to ease her into it first and foremost, before mentioning what she might come to expect, so he just glazed over it for now.
Pertaining Nash and Delaana, perhaps indeed they did want to get away from here as quickly as possible, though at the same time Atlantis was hoping they'd find their peace once they were once and for all released from their oaths. "Yes, there is indeed a possibility that they'll want to get away from here as soon as they are released, but part of me think that maybe they also find it in themselves to find closure once and for all, it would be a pity too to leave angry still, especially Nash. But whatever they do decide, of course, everyone of us will support them." Atlantis left it at that, he was one to not just up and leave when he had some sort of unfinished business, plus both of the siblings had been Chume'doro, so that should have meant something for them, no? Plus Nash had mentioned that he had befriended someone from the noble house here.
With their return at the hotel though, and Mahela's suggestion that perhaps he would want to check up on them, Atlantis smiled and shook his head. "No, I won't be checking up on them at all, the people they are currently with are in that better position than me." Atlantis grinned, it's not that he did not care about the siblings, it was just the fact that he was not particularly close to them. "Crystal has a better affinity with Lana, after all they have been working together for a while now, though something tells me that she'll give Elika and Lana some privacy, and Nash has his Childao, or his diamond as I have come to understand the meaning for that Hapan word, and his friends." Overall, Atlantis was just here to support mainly Elika too after his brother volunteered him to come.
Finishing his caf, Atlantis placed his cup down and took a deep breath before looking at the two friends with a warm smile. "Therefore if you'll still have me, you two, please accept me as your chaperone." Atlantis said with a grin before looking at Mahela knowingly. "And please do just call me by my name, Mahela, or I will be in that position of calling you constantly Ms. Kanoska." He warned her playfully before glancing at both of them to check if they were also done with their bevvie, "Let's go check that gift shop and have a universal translator, then go to the pool, I will just be in the lounge chair and pull out my dapatad and potentially start learning Hapan." Standing up and gesturing, "Shall we?"
After that detour in that gift shop which thankfully had some of those translators, Atlantis told them to get anything else they wanted, or fancied, after making sure that they got what they wanted and whatever they potentially needed, they finally headed to the pool which thankfully was empty for now though he also locked in Crystal's signature and addressed her privately. We are at the pool if you are looking for us, also you might have some questions headed your way from Saoirse... Leaving it at that, Atlantis settled on a lounge chair and took his datapad out, plugging in his earbuds after putting the shopping bag on his side securely, he searched for some Hapan lessons.
"Maybe Crystal will join us later, or anyone else really, she knows we are here." Atlantis informed them with a chuckle when they came back from changing.

Inclining his head when Saoirse explained why she kept calling him Master when he had told her she did not need to, he understood her reasoning. That was the truth, just because he was on vacation so to speak, he couldn't entirely shut off being a Jedi, as that was a big part of him, just like being a guardian too, and he guessed a mentor now as well. "You are right about that." He conceded with a knowing smile before slightly lighting one of his sleeves, at least discreetly to show her that he did in fact still have his lightsaber with him. "I never go anywhere without them, and I will also always look around and keep sensing in the background at least intermittently." Smiling, that was just him, it wasn't that he wasn't trusting that nothing would happen at present time, he always actually liked being prepared just in case. Better safe than sorry, plus the whole having Chume'doro guarding them was enough indication at least for him to be mindful of his surroundings.
Pertaining the protocol droid, that was an idea although he supposed he didn't want to have one of those so he was definitely preferable in going with what Mahela had suggested. "That's a good idea, perhaps buy several of them for most of us." He laughed at that, since after all, not all of them spoke or understood Hapan anyways, a few did at least, and one of the witnesses, from what he knew could speak and understand Hapan definitely considering that she was from here. "Nash's probable witness will not be needing a translator." Atlantis informed her with a smile before explaining. "Counselor Lindsay Mildhurt is actually half Hapan from what I do know, and was told." Whether she lived here on Hapes or not, that was something he did not know actually as he never asked or questioned come to think of it. Plus he and the Hapan lawyer weren't close, but she was close to Lily and Crystal, all Atlantis knew was that Crystal and the others often protected her or even shielded her when they were younger.
Leaning back against his seat and just briefly looking around, it was certain that at least they were mostly in the presence of higher class Hapans at least, plus this was the Capital of Hapes, he supposed. Nodding slightly when Mahela mentioned that statement from Nash, and he figured that several of them just took it as being poorly treated and maybe undervalued so to speak, but a fact remained definitely, like also what the Togruta had said, they had that semblance of ceiling and could not ascend further no matter what they did. Although Atlantis wasn't really comfortable with that, he knew in a sense that women in some other worlds were in the position of the men here, and could he really judge so to speak when he was also somewhat in a relatively privileged position?
Lacing his fingers together, and briefly smiling when Mahela had not only called him Grandmaster, which got him to look at her with an amused expression and an arched eyebrow that said 'not you too' but she also asked him for his opinion. "I do agree with your views indeed, however currently also we are in a fancy hotel, which obviously seems to only have the upper class in society, and from memory Nash did mention that his parents were simple commoners too. It sounded to me that Lana probably despised that her brother probably was the pawn in social ascension for them, maybe?" Apparently there was a lot of that going on, particularly amongst the noble houses too, competition removed and whatever.
"But to reply to your question, insofar it's not that bad at all, but again, fancy place, then again maybe I should get used to it even if I'd be just fine in swanky motel." Atlantis did have a spartan upbringing and well as long as he had a place to sleep even if it was not fancy, that was just fine with him though he knew that with people he was closed to, maybe that wouldn't be that possible in his case. "Then again, I shouldn't be surprised in the end, considering..." Gesturing upwards slightly to emphasize the people they were with, politician, lawyers, CFO. "The Ereneda seemed to have rolled out the red carpet for us, and it didn't even seem that they were aware of who we were either." Atlantis supposed that not only did the Queen Mother cared about her citizens but also the ones who weren't from here in any case, and just made sure that they were comfortable overall.
Slightly looking on the side and smiling slightly before looking up momentarily, Atlantis somewhat finally had his mind at ease, as it appeared that finally the Hapan siblings had returned. "Nash, and Delaana seem to be back." Atlantis said with a faint smile before adding. "That certainly might be a relief for their significant others, and best to let them be for the time being, I am guessing, as I am sure the lawyers might ask for updates of what has been talked about." Taking another sip of his coffee, Atlantis looked at some of the people that were indeed curiously looking at their table, especially Mahela and Saoirse, which got him to look at both of the women. "They do seem to be curious indeed," Unable to help himself, Atlantis just smiled and inclined his head respectfully before chuckling. "If people start wanting to take selfies with you two, I'll make sure to step aside." He playfully and jokingly told them with a faint laughter.

Atlantis considered for a moment Saoirse's statement, why would anyone want an important position? That was a good question overall, the one that related to the current Queen Mother while indeed hereditary, like Mahela mentioned, some did not have a choice, and some where thrusted into it. Atlantis knew some people to be in that case, he was one of those, and Andros also was one of those for whatever reasons that happened back then. Sure it was a choice they could have denied, but at the same time, would they actually deny it? Further than that for Andros, it was to put a stop on a takeover from their uncle back then and avoid everyone a headache.
"Don't worry to much about it, just enjoy your time, and just observe disregarding the politics, and everything that go with it. I have brought you both here to hopefully admire something else that is far away from our current home." Of course there was still that pending thing about the siblings, but at the same time it did not mean that they should stop living and discover something else entirely. Atlantis did not know Hapes at all, he didn't know its people, he did not know the culture, he just knew why Nash and Delaana left.
Weren't they the same in some ways, just wanting to escape their past from time to time and hopefully find something different, and greater than what they had been brought up into. As Mahela had figured, Atlantis had often been one to actually care first and foremost about what others wanted or needed before thinking about himself, and it was fine by him honestly, he was used to it, and it was how he more or less came to be who he was now. Right now though he did have a grateful smile when the Togruta mentioned what they should do, plus it would definitely give him some idea about the atmosphere altogether.
Waiting for the turbolift, Atlantis grinned looking at the Zabrak when the question about Crystal being attuned to the Force was brought up. "Crystal has her reasons, obviously, and in a large part it's tied to her family history also." He knew he was no forthcoming again, and he also knew that he was opening another can of worms, but he just told her with a knowing smile. "I'll encourage you to have a talk with her when you get a chance, though as for secretly training to being a Jedi, no, not at all, she has no intentions of becoming one, but as for how far along she is, her brother, Ryan, will be the first one to say that his sister is way better than him, as a warrior and as a healer too." In a way, Atlantis was inclined to be in agreement with Ryan, for Ryan always focused on the healing side of things, and some of the other core powers, Crystal had been more rounded in her training. "As for Lily and Elika, no, those two are definitely not attuned." He wanted to even add that Crystal wasn't either until a few years ago, but that again was another can of worms.
Getting to the lobby, Atlantis scanned the area for a moment, peacefully too, he was not surprised at all that everyone here was alluring obviously, ordering his caf and waiting for the ones that were with him to order, Atlantis just sat down at an empty table, and since he loved to observe most interaction around, it did seem that everything seemed peaceful and everyone were just fine with their lives. At least here, a mother dotting on her son, that wasn't surprising at all, though did it also have anything with what hopefully the future could be for the young man, in the back of his mind, he remembered Nash saying that status was everything in Hapes, and therefore influence, Atlantis guessed...
Finally snapping out of his thoughts, and looking at Saoirse with a warm smile the first thing Atlantis had told her. "You do know you are under no obligation to call me Master, right? Especially right now, since we are not training, at all." Lifting his hand with a faint chuckle, Atlantis pondered for a moment, "No, it does not at all, but I am guessing that this has been the status quo for a while that people are used to this in general. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but of course I am sure that sometimes people will want more, maybe." Picking up his coffee caf, and just looking around for a bit, "What I do regret though, I should have done it like my brother, and perhaps take up some Hapan lessons to understand what people are saying..." Shaking his head with an amused grin, Atlantis figured his brother had his own reasons anyways, and that would certainly help either way.
Looking at Mahela with a faint grin, "What about you, what do you think thusfar?" Atlantis asked curiously knowing that from what he guessed, even depicted, she was good at observing indeed, and he actually would love to have her impressions.

Shaking his head in confirmation, when Saoirse mentioned that being Queen wasn't fun at all, Atlantis smiled faintly before replying. "No, I am sure that it's not at all, anyone with an important position is never fun, a lot of responsibilities, and a lot of things to consider too." Atlantis might not have held the same position as the Ereneda, but he understood it all the same being who he was back on the planet he had come to call him. He always had to make sure that everyone was content, or even were heard.
All of the responsibilities, though thankfully for his case it was just the Academy, but for the Queen Mother, it was the whole Consortium, and whatever else.
Atlantis had no clue, and the whole history of this planet besides whatever basics, at least that he knew but the politics all around, he had no intentions in wanting to know or find out. In a sense he figured also what his very own brother did for Umgul, that certainly had some analogies maybe, except Andros probably had more leeway all the same but again, still...
Inclining his head to Saoirse when letting him know what she had planned, Atlantis turned to look at Mahela with a warm smile. He did look a bit surprised though when asked what he actually wanted to do, that was a good question, though he did have some ideas not really too difficult in that area honestly. "Good question, though to be perfectly honest, I just want to sit down, maybe read a book, have coffee, or even stroll around, and see what the atmosphere is like here." Atlantis admitted thoughtfully though he did glance at the doors that held the people that were waiting for Delaana and Nash to come back.
"Though since I would also be a little uncomfortable with just venturing around the city for the time being, grab some lunch to begin with is an idea, and just hang back and have coffee there while reading a holobook while maybe you two go have that massage if you want?" Atlantis suggested thoughtfully, he was the kind that didn't necessarily to always move around, he was just fine with sitting at a place, it gave him some peace too, he was actually more concerned about Saoirse also who often needed to move he guessed, and he figured that he would adapt to what she preferred than what he'd usually do during his down times. Though it would also give him a chance to talk a bit more with Mahela too, and maybe address some more questions that Saoirse would have about Crystal, and her being attuned to the Force, and whatnot even though she had not revealed that to anyone before just yet, especially those at the Academy.

Atlantis did say mention that he wasn't going to start interpreting what Horsea had told them, and further than that, with some of the revelations made by Andros about other things, there was one thing that he had to keep in mind, everything, all of this was complicated and had reasons that had yet to be revealed to him. But he wasn't here as a Jedi, like he had said it was not a Jedi business, he was here to support friends, and that was it. At the same time though, it was good, even better to get the full picture instead of guessing left or right.
Sooner or later, patience was a virtue he supposed.
Not that he was away from the room and outside, it allowed Atlantis to concentrate and get a sense from the siblings at court. Horsea's words, which had gotten him to look at the Kiffar, at least made it clear. Plus with what he could assume currently. "Hmmm, and Lana probably has been his buffer his whole life too..." Before it probably changed, and now he had someone else in Honoghr, though Atlantis figured that as long as the Hapan was in a relatively safe space and surrounded by friends and people who cared about him, he'd be fine even if it seemed like he still had some pent up anger that would dissipate one way or another.
Looking at Saoirse when she asked some of those questions about the Chume'doro and the Queen, Atlantis had pointed at Lucine in agreement to what the Lieutenant had said. "The Queen might have the final say, but the Queen is also a woman that will constantly be under pressure from everyone that surrounds her. Will you also actually want as a Chume'doro to guard a person who hasn't taken any actions about the ones who deserted?" Atlantis knew that everything was complicated and being at top of the food chain so to speak could truly be difficult, and a lot of things had to be taken care of, or even addressed.
"I cannot say that I have the whole picture, because the whole bias thing is not something I understand either, but..." Glancing over his shoulder thankfully no Chume'doro were near enough to hear their discussion. "While I understand and also agree that Delaana and Nash should answer for their desertion, there were other attenuating circumstances for the both of them that made them decide to leave in the first place. We all heard it while coming here, and I do understand the siblings too. But all actions have consequences, and I am just hoping that in the end everyone get what they want, because that is all that matters now." Atlantis was compassionate and understanding, could be said that was because he is a Jedi, before also he was known to break some rules, or even just deviate on orders he had been given when he served as CorSec, but that was before when he answered to others, and this was now where he still answered to others to a certain to degree, but that often time was easily resolved when they just all talked about it and got on the same page.
"Bias or not, it is starting to sound that the Queen Mother definitely has a personal involvement with the Wan siblings." Atlantis finally said thoughtfully, why would the Queen be biased other than because she knew them personally or... He definitely should stop assuming and just take a breather finally looking at the ones that were with him. "Elika is going to hang here and wait for the siblings to return, as you might have guessed, Lucy, Ljiljana and Crystal are staying with her, and potentially Andros too, so do whatever you want, the three of you." He said with a grin before finally glancing at Saoirse and Mahela dubiously. "What do you want to do, the both of you? I can totally come with if you have some plans?" Atlantis figured that he would accompany them, beats him just staying here while they waited anyways...

"Okay." Atlantis replied simply to what Elika had told him when he offered his help one way or another, he smiled nonetheless, and inclined his head. He knew that this whole situation was nerve wracking for the architect, and he wished he could soothe her, but alas there was nothing he could do and he figured that if she did need anything, she would ask by her own volition.
At least she was surrounded by her two friends here, Crystal and Lily, that much he knew they would remain by her side, and even he was thankful that Lily had gotten Elika something to drink, it would allow her to fuss less on her nails, he guessed. That was also then and there when he heard what Horsea had said telephatically to him, and he also figured that she had not restricted that communication to just a few of them since Crystal looked at him and suggested that he perhaps talked with Horsea.
The problem there quite honestly, even if he had felt that momentary flare up from the Hapan, and he still kept a placid expression, Atlantis didn't really know the man, it had been the first time he had seen Nash when he landed on Umgul accompanied by the lawyers from Honoghr, and sure Atlantis had spent a few days with him in the vessel and had pretty much picked up a few things about the Specialist, as was his rank here, but other than that, Atlantis couldn't really say that he for sure knew the Hapan. Besides the fact that he cared about Lana, and that he was protective over her, and even his girlfriend, caring too, Atlantis couldn't really quite make sense of Horsea's words...
Did she see something?
Instead of pondering about it though, Atlantis knew that thinking too much about it right now would help him at all, and with Saoirse addressing him, Atlantis figured he'd address her privately, at least, since quite frankly he didn't know and didn't want to rush to a conclusion until they had a clearer picture. No, we do not know, unfortunately. I wouldn't even begin to try and interpreting that, lest that we talk with Horsea who is still outside But even then, the only people that would probably be able to reach Nash were the ones from Honoghr, and he just looked at Saoirse the moment he stood up straight and smiled naturally before looking at Elika still with that peaceful smile, as truly he did not want to worry her at all.
"You and I both know, Elika, that Crystal and Lily are going to stay right here with you until they come back." Atlantis was probably trying to lift up her mood, and maybe just to make her smile. "Isn't there a rule in that infamous household, or bestie rule book of yours that stipulates that all the rules are applicable no matter where the three residents of the said Lakehouse are located?" Maybe his joke would be flat out going down the drain, but some humor did not hurt he supposed. "The ultimate rule of it all, if I am understand correctly is that besties stick together no matter what, right?"
Looking at Mahela with a grateful smile, Atlantis inclined his head gratefully, and was glad that she was cognizant of a few things also, he wasn't surprised at all to be perfectly honest, plus he was certain that she saw, or recognized some signs. "Thanks, I am sure that she'll be fine, as long as she it surrounded." That was his reply, at least what he whispered to the Togruta, for honestly, he too was at a loss and didn't quite know what to do, it seemed more like Crystal and Lily would know best how to handle this, too.
In any case he was trying, or at least he was doing whatever he could to uplift everyone's mood but he had heard the door opening and stepped aside so that he wasn't in the middle and people could see his brother, but Atlantis did look at his twin and dubiously too, it did sound that Andros gathered some info. The Ereneda didn't want this but it still came to this because she was expected to do something from the looks of it and from what Andros was telling them. "Bias... Atlantis repeated, why would there be any bias when it was pretty streamlined, though he supposed that maybe indeed talking to them could be caused to some bias, but still, he was confused. Atlantis supposed that it all fell down to politics altogether then, since that was the only thing he could come up with. "Politics, huh."
He didn't even need an answer to that, there was certainly more to it than anything, and since he wasn't too knowledgeable with the ongoing on in Hapes, or just its entire history or even the Royal House and whatever, Atlantis just couldn't understand, and he would not even try to further. But the waiting was probably going to be the most difficult thing to do. "C'mon let's let them rest, and let Elika sleep." He was mainly talking to Mahela and Saoirse before looking at his brother, their choices indeed, or perhaps they would want to talk a few more with Elika but Atlantis did step out of the room after giving Crystal one last glace and blinking.
Once again in the hallway, Atlantis walked straight up to the Kiffars, and it seemed that Lucy even remained outside still from the looks of it. "What kind of situation?" He asked Horsea thoughtfully, did she see something, or heard anything? He knew that everything could probably be subjective at this point, and he really didn't want to jump to conclusion and hope for the worst, especially not after what Andros had revealed from his talk with Major Yajaira...
